Very tasty food in a cozy atmosphere. We really enjoyed it.

Excellent Asian dishes from various Asian regions, superbly seasoned, reasonably priced, and with friendly service. It takes a while, but everything is fresh and very tasty. I do have a problem with the steps at the entrance, though: After my knee surgery, I'm barely able to climb those high steps with crutches without a railing. Please definitely install a grab bar!

Online order: The food was good, but the order took over two hours to arrive – despite multiple calls. On the last call, I wanted to cancel the meal, but that wasn't possible... Food was good, service, unfortunately, not so good.

The food is delicious and beautifully presented. This is a cozy, small restaurant. Personally, I find the prices too high. I was happy to spend a wonderful evening there. There is free parking nearby (a 5-minute walk).

I've been there twice now. We first became aware of the restaurant through an “insider tip” and drove here from Duisburg to do it. It was really great. We had to wait a bit for the drinks, but it was worth it. The sushi is fresh and delicious. I would love to go there again - a pearl in Gelsenkirchen.

We ordered through liferando. After 20 minutes someone called and told us that there were no more dishes with duck, which was already poorly received. When the delivery came after 1.5 hours, the dishes were completely wrong. In addition, some of the noodles were burnt and no longer tasted completely fresh. The employee also said on the phone that he would compensate us with an extra portion of sushi, which also didn't happen. Overall, we waited a long time and everyone was dissatisfied. I would never order there again and I regret paying the driver a tip in advance via liferando...

Otherwise only order online, today for the first time on site. Gabz definitely won't be the last time! Very tasty food, super friendly staff and nice restaurant. Keep it up!

Have ordered. There's always something wrong but today everything was cold, the edammame was raw and the tuna smelled and was spoiled. We called and the most they could offer us was a voucher for half the meal for next time. Food was unbeatable and customer service was terrible. Extremely worn out and inferior quality for a lot of money. We even offered to bring the spoiled and raw food as proof.

We had a wonderful visit to the Dong restaurant in Gelsenkirchen! The ambience is very nicely decorated and creates a pleasant atmosphere. The food was consistently delicious - we particularly loved the summer rolls, the mango curry, the baked bananas and the refreshing Thai lemonade. The Vietnamese coffee is also an absolute highlight! The price-performance ratio is excellent. The prices are completely reasonable for the high quality of the food and service. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, which made the visit a completely successful experience. We will definitely be back and can recommend Restaurant Dong to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Vietnamese cuisine in a beautiful setting!

From the start we felt welcome and comfortable in this restaurant. We were warmly welcomed as a couple and served with a smile. The food was simply delicious – prepared with a lot of love – and the homemade lemonade was a real highlight. I love dong, they have the best sushi from North Rhine-Westphalia!!! Always fresh, always delicious and tops every sushi shop in Düsseldorf. The meat is helal and no pork is sold. The staff is always super friendly and committed. Can really recommend it to everyone!!!

We were at Dong yesterday with 4 people and 2 babies. Great food, great ambience, the guys behind the counter and the waitress were very nice, we were left with nothing to be desired. All ingredients were fresh. The sushi and noodles were the best I've eaten to date.

It's really difficult to find good sushi. Luckily, there is a good sushi restaurant in Gelsenkirchen. The tea is fresh and not from a tea bag. The salmon is also fresh, and overall the sushi tastes very good. The service is also excellent.

I made a reservation in advance at this restaurant, which was also confirmed. Full of anticipation, I drove an hour, only to find out there that there was no table available because everything was supposedly full. This is absolutely unprofessional and disappointing! A confirmed reservation should also be honored - especially if guests have to accept a longer journey. Unfortunately no solution was offered and we were simply left without a table. Very disappointing, I definitely won't make a reservation here again!

Absolutely worth it! I had the vegetarian duck with peanut sauce. This came with a good portion of vegetables and the typical sticky rice. My wife had Spicy Mango Vegetable Curry. This unassuming hole in the wall Asian Fusion restaurant was absolutely fantastic. The drinks were quite flavorful and delicious with a nice mango punch and Thai basil flavor respectively. The gyoza were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside while being very cutesy and demure. The fried noodles were so so so flavorful and delicious and the fried chicken was incredibly tender, well seasoned, and crispy outside. The spicy mango curry was very nice and actually light, though it was not very spicy at all. The chicken was the same as the noodle dish so nothing new here, but the portion sizes of the main dishes were very large and the meal was quite filling. For 50 euros i don't feel it was too expensive overall, but the drinks were a bit of a luxury at 7 euro each. Overall we were exceedingly satisfied with the quality, presentation, and taste of this meal. We loved the atmosphere of the restaurant, it was quite cozy and fun. The music was pretty nice and we could hear people in the back singing which was so cute and heartwarming. If i could give more than 5 stars i would without a doubt. You would be doing yourself a disservice by overlooking this place. Go there now!
