Poststuben in Bad Reichenhall

Wir kamen gerade aus dem Urlaub zurück und entdeckten das Restaurant Poststuben auf der Karte. Der freundliche Herr Drago empfing uns herzlich. Das Essen kam sehr schnell. Sowohl das Hauptgericht als auch der Salat und die Brötchen waren sehr lecker und frisch. Die Portion war großzügig, und ich konnte nicht alles aufessen. Deshalb bot mir das freundliche Personal an, mir den Rest einzupacken. Die Ćevapčići aß ich am nächsten Tag, und sie waren genauso lecker und saftig. Ich kann dieses Restaurant uneingeschränkt empfehlen, und wir kommen gerne wieder, sobald wir Zeit haben. Ein Hoch auf das wunderbare Restaurant Poststuben!

Köstliches Essen in einem gemütlichen, altmodischen Restaurant, sehr freundlicher Service und man bekommt viel Essen für wenig Geld.

Das Personal (oder der Inhaber) war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Portionen sind riesig – wir konnten unsere Gerichte nicht aufessen, aber sie haben uns die Reste zum Mitnehmen eingepackt. Das Fleisch war perfekt zubereitet und hat köstlich geschmeckt. Ein super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und definitiv einen Besuch wert.

Gutes frisches Essen, sehr freundliches Personal, hier ist man gut aufgehoben.

Tolles Gasthaus mit lokalen und kroatischen Speisen. Die Portionen sind mehr als reichhaltig und die Preise sind auch echt super. Kann mich nicht erinnern, wann ich zuletzt so günstig einen so tollen Zwiebelrostbraten gegessen habe. Respekt an die Küche. Das Team ist auch sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend gewesen. Kommen gerne wieder!

Essen war in Ordnung. Hebt sich nicht signifikant von anderen kroatischen Restaurants ab. Wartezeiten auf das Essen leider sehr lange…

I actually didn't want to rate Drago (the chef), because otherwise the place would be even more crowded. The food is better and cheaper than in Croatia. The atmosphere is also friendlier than in Croatia. The only thing missing is the beach. But it's easily bearable given the outstanding service provided by the kitchen and the chef. See you again soon.

Incredibly delicious! Large, generous portions, varied menu. We ordered the fish platter, and it was plenty for the two of us. What a great restaurant!

We were thrilled. The food was truly delicious. The service was friendly, attentive, and very welcoming. The restaurant has a rustic decor. Even though we arrived spontaneously, we luckily managed to get a seat. The price is also absolutely fair—especially for the portion sizes. We would come back if we're in the area again.

Excellent food, top-notch Croatian cuisine, and Drago is a passionate host. The decor is a bit dated, but whatever, you still feel comfortable... We'd happily return.

The only Croatian restaurant in Bad Reichenhall. They also serve regular German home-style cooking, including fish! Easy to reach, with plenty of parking on Salinenstrasse, just around the corner!

Das Essen ist hervorragend, egal ob bairisch oder kroatisch. Schöne, alte Gasthaus Stuben, Reservierung empfohlen. Die Bewirtung ist sehr freundlich und familiär, der Chef unentwegs unterwegs und immer bedacht, dass sich seine seine Gäste wohlfühlen. We found this restaurant by chance, but what a find. The proprietor was able to fit in our party of nine at very short notice. We also had a group member who needed gluten-free food, and the restaurant was able to accommodate her requirements with ease. We were given menus in English, and although two of our group were good German speakers, this made everything much easier for all. The food was UNBELIEVABLE!!! By far the best tasting and the best portion size we have had in Germany this trip and all of our previous ones included. The waitress who looked after us was lovely. She was friendly, upbeat, and quick. An absolute credit to the restaurant. If I could, I would give Poststuben 6 stars, but five is the max Google will allow. We loved this restaurant so much we booked our last night in Germany here for dinner. What an absolute gem of a find.

Great restaurant. We stumbled upon it by chance and were seated quickly. The waitresses were very prompt and friendly, and the manager even stops by each table to check if everything's okay. Typical Bavarian with Croatian cuisine; we'll definitely be back!

Yesterday, four of us ate at the Poststuben. The Poststuben is a Croatian restaurant. The service is excellent. Very fast, friendly, and even up for a joke. We had the grilled platter, calamari, half-and-half, and pork medallions. My pork medallions were perfectly cooked. Very lightly pink inside and tender as butter. The others were also thrilled with their dishes. The Poststuben is definitely worth a visit, and we will definitely be back.

We stumbled upon this inn on our way home. From the name, it wasn't obvious that it was a Croatian restaurant. We received a great welcome from the service. The food was excellent. And the prices were very reasonable. If we're ever in the area again, we'd love to come back! Thank you so much!! 🙌🏾

The grill plate was very tasty, especially everything was freshly prepared and came to the table hot. The boss and service staff were very friendly and attentive. We will be back on our next stay in Bad Reichenhall.

Such a great atmosphere. If you want to eat with the locals go there. They serve big plates and always with a beautiful smile. Also provided us with an English menu as we dont understand German. Its a do not miss place to eat.

This is the first time I tried Croatian food in Germany. Though I have been to Croatia before, I have no idea what to order. I asked for advice. Here is what they recommended. They taste good. The Spieß is nice and tender. From the teller, I like the sausage the most. Overall very nice experience!

Went there spontaneously for dinner. The only thing you could “complain” about were the fries. Unfortunately these were too salty, but everything else was completely convincing. The waitresses are also super fast and very friendly. We would visit the restaurant again 👍🏻

Very tasty schnitzels. Nice, cozy restaurant and also super nice waiters and a funny boss. Only discovered this restaurant after 20 years of vacation in Bayrisch Gmain and would come back at any time! The prices are also really humane compared to other restaurants.

After a day at Königssee, we found this restaurant – so lucky! The food was delicious, especially the sausages. The sauces were flavorful, and the portions were huge. Highly recommended! Sehr empfehlenswert! 非常非常推荐！

Reserved a table, stopped in and received a really nice welcome. The restaurant was well attended. Didn't wait very long after ordering. Drinks were quickly available and the vitamins in the form of salad were placed on the table. Food was great. Price was also reasonable. Host also chatted with his guests. All in all very good.

Geburtstag feiern mit einem lieben Freund, in der Poststuben. Wir waren noch nie dort, aber was wir zum 60er unseres Freundes auf den Tisch bekamen, war TOP! Die Platten waren durchweg ein Genuss! Wir möchten uns für diesen Abend beim Wirt und seinem Team nochmals herzlichst bedanken und werden Sie nunmehr öfters besuchen. Respekt der Küche!

Wieder mal hier und auch heute haben wie in den Poststuben einen schönen Abend verleben dürfen. Die Mädles im Service super nett und flott, der Chef des Hauses präsent und nah beim Gast und das Essen, die Grillplatten mit Fisch und mit Fleisch, waren super gut gemacht. Fisch und Fleisch auf den Punkt getroffen, schmackhaft gewürzt und große Portionen, die auch richtig satt machen. Der Preis ist super fair und ein Schnaps aufs Haus rundet den schönen Abend ab. Once again here and today we had a lovely evening in the post rooms. The girls in service were super nice and quick, the boss of the house was present and close to the guests and the food, the grilled plates with fish and meat, were extremely well done. Fish and meat to the point, tasty seasoning and large portions that also fill you up. The price is super fair and a schnapps on the house rounds off the lovely evening. Thank you and see you soon!

Tried it out based on the positive reviews. It's OK but nothing special. Unfortunately there were no typical Croatian sauces (hot and garlic) on the table. All in all average, I've experienced some better ones
