I spent three weeks in Bad Mergentheim for rehab and ate at Poseidon three times. It's been a long time since I've had such a great Greek meal. The tzatziki tastes very, very tasty here. Everything prepared so fresh and delicious. Very friendly staff. You should reserve a table as it is always quite crowded. Highly recommended!!

We were there for the New Year's Eve menu. It was difficult for us to choose! We were able to choose from 4 starters, 3 main courses and 4 desserts. Quality and quantity were outstanding, not to mention the service. Highly recommended! Always happy👍🏼

My favorite Greek for 20 years, basically ordering too much, leaving nothing out of decency and going home like a bear before hibernation. Starter, main course, dessert, it doesn't get any better than that. However, order a table in good time and I'm not the only one who likes it there.

**Disappointing experience - unnecessary trip!** I contacted this restaurant by phone to make sure I could get something to eat since I traveled an extra 20 km from Tauberbischofsheim. I was kindly confirmed on the phone that the kitchen was still open and I could come over. But when I arrived on site, I was informed that the kitchen had already closed. I understand that misunderstandings can sometimes arise, but incorrect information like this is simply annoying, especially after a long journey. I was looking forward to a good meal and would have liked the communication between the phone and the restaurant to work better. Unfortunately, this was my first and probably last experience here. Very disappointing!

Unfortunately today's visit was not satisfactory. I still had fond memories of the Zunfstuben Poseidon from my last visit. We were assigned a table quite quickly and were able to order drinks and food after a slightly longer wait. My red wine arrived with what felt like a temperature of around 25C. Soon I would have ordered ice cubes as well, as the drink was so warm. The starter arrived after a long 30 minutes and the main course took another 30 minutes to arrive. Food was then served to us carelessly. The tzatziki was somehow oversalted and the garlic potatoes were mushy, not at all crispy and the garlic itself was missing. The potatoes were at most tossed in garlic butter. Salad was also missing. This had to be ordered separately for an additional charge in order to further disguise the price increase that had already occurred. The payment process was rather unfriendly and an absolute no-go was the complimentary schnapps at the end, which visibly every guest had received and which we left out. Either all or none...

I have no idea where the positive reviews come from, my experience today contradicts that. The meat is grilled and dry on one side only. The garlic potatoes were an absolute joke. Of four waitresses, only one was very friendly. I found the rest to be either arrogant, unprofessional or simply uninterested in unknown customers. After consulting with other customers, it was probably significantly better some time ago. No recommendation from me.

I give one point for the nice service. Mousaka for 17.80 euros overpriced and dry. Poseidon plate 17.50 euros, 1 skewer dry and too dark, gyros 10 pieces. No salad included. We were disappointed. We also don't like dogs at the table when eating. Had a free dessert, ice cream was very watery. A pity!

I would rate the restaurant and also the food as mediocre. We had a table outside. The coleslaw we ordered was inedible because it was completely over salted. No other salad was offered, only the plate was taken away without comment. At around 9 p.m. the now empty tables and chairs began to be put together and lashed with wire. Unfortunately, that makes a totally uncomfortable impression. We left soon because no one was interested in ordering any more drinks.

We cannot recommend the restaurant. Received by three employees smoking cigarettes in the entrance area to the restaurant. There was smoking at every table outside. The impression in the restaurant wasn't any better either. Tastelessly decorated, sticky tables, dark interior. At some point after a few minutes we asked if we had already received the card. Of course not. Then he went to get some. After about 5 minutes the service assistant came and took the order. Immediately afterwards the cutlery with paper napkins, the drinks we ordered and an Uozo arrived. The Uozo was good. Not because it was free. No, because you can't do anything wrong. After another maximum of 2 minutes the food came. But that happened quickly. And as quickly as the food came, it was served just as carelessly and tastelessly. The meat was dry and only lukewarm, covered with lots of onion slices and a handful of fries, for which an extra charge was required because they were exchanged for the rice. The taste is debatable. That's subjective. Objectively, it was nothing at all. We've eaten better at snack bars. And that's when you know it's fast food. We're just passing through here and for that reason alone we won't be visiting the restaurant again. And definitely don't recommend it.

This was a completely lucky random find as it was the first place we saw when we tried to park in Bad M. They told us where we could park and found us a table in what was a busy restaurant – not surprisingly as they had a 15 Euro lunch menu. This included a soup, a salad and a main of which there was good choice. The staff were super friendly and helpful. It said it was a Greek restaurant but there was plenty of other choice too.

Everything great. Food very tasty, very accommodating and quick. Ambiance: old, cozy vaulted cellar. If you want to criticize something, it would be the slightly increased prices.

Richtig gutes griechisches Lokal inmitten von Bad Mergentheim. Gemütliche Einrichtung (erinnert an die ehem. "Zunftstube") und Terrasse. Sehr gute Auswahl an Speisen, frisch zubereitet. Freundliches Personal, Preise absolut okay für Lage und Qualität. Es gibt von vielen Gerichten auch "kleine" Portionen. Lediglich Beilagenänderungen klappen manchmal nicht. Unbedingt abends reservieren, da immer sehr voll! Wir kommen immer gerne ins Poseidon, wenn wir in Bad Mergentheim sind.

We were there for dinner during the week. The beer garden was well filled. Very friendly staff. Were served quickly. Appetizer platter, skewers and gyros were excellent.

Went to the restaurant today and the food wasn't that great, the meat was dry and tough. Afterwards in the restaurant I noticed that my stomach wasn't feeling well and then I was able to have a great date with the toilet. It wasn't good the second time, we thought we'd give them a second chance, which unfortunately was bad again. That was the last time!!!!!!

Waren mit der Familie da. Für die Kinder gibt es eine extra Karte mit Ausmahlblatt. Das Essen war excellent und mehr als reichlich. Der Servi e ist typisch griechisch gastfreundlich und super organisiert.

Locals recommended the Zunftstube to us if you don't want a lavish lunch. The house offers a lunch menu between €12 and €16. There are also vegetarian dishes. The lunch menu includes a liquid greeting from the house. As well as a soup and a coleslaw. We enjoyed the food and the house has a nice atmosphere. The staff is quick and attentive.

Our meal was underwhelming that late evening. Grilled lamb chops had fishy flavor and the fries with the meat were soft. It was probably because it was served so quickly. Portions too big for my taste. Otherwise the service is very good, friendly and accommodating.

Tolles Essen in urigen Ambiente In einem schönen alten Gebäude ist ein griechisches Restaurant. Eine kleine, feine Speisen Karte. Freundliches Personal. Das Essen kam zügig und war sehr gut.

Tip: scallop as a starter. Reminiscent of Lobster Thermador. Very tasty and beautifully prepared.
