A wonderfully relaxing place, even with three children, thanks to the harmonious ambiance, the good food, the children's coloring page, and the attentive service.

I can only recommend it; it was the first time I've eaten in a vaulted cellar. All the dishes were very good, and the staff were super friendly. We'll eat there again. But without a reservation, there's little chance.

Great place, friendly staff and a nice chef. We had a very good experience. A bit pricey for EXCELLENT food...and ouzo...I like the tranquility here, and the tender lamb I ordered was something I've rarely had before. The house red wine is also very good. Highly recommended, and I will definitely visit this restaurant again!

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio isn't at all convincing. The Metaxa Gyros (€19.50) didn't even come with a small salad, which is rather disappointing for this price range. The dish comes with fries as standard, but I preferred rice – for which I had to pay an extra €0.50. This doesn't make sense to me, as rice is usually cheaper than fries. The dish wasn't particularly tasty either. The atmosphere wasn't particularly inviting. The staff, especially the owner, seemed rather reserved and unfriendly. Overall, the visit wasn't worth it; I definitely won't be coming back.

This was our first time here. Everything was very fresh and delicious. The salmon was unfortunately overcooked and dry! The skewers were too. The gratinated pork medallions were truly excellent! And so was my fresh gyro salad with feta. The service was pleasant, friendly, and attentive.

This has got to be one of the if not the best Greek style restaurant I’ve been to in a long time! The food, service, atmosphere! It was all great, and getting a complementary ouzo shot on the house isn’t so bad either! Sadly I’m not a food photographer at all, but I can tell this much: It was damn good!

On Sunday evening March 23rd, six of us went to Poseidon for dinner. We ordered 6 different dishes. Everything was delicious and served within 25 minutes of ordering. The waitresses were attentive and very nice.

I was visiting Bad Mergentheim and was looking for a restaurant for lunch. The food was simply great.

Extra charge, actually no problem.. with a friend, the same request... BUT THEN FOR THIS CHANGE ORDER 10€!!!! 10€..!!!! I spent three weeks in Bad Mergentheim for rehab and ate at Poseidon three times. It's been a long time since I've had such a great Greek meal. The tzatziki tastes very, very tasty here. Everything prepared so fresh and delicious. Very friendly staff. You should reserve a table as it is always quite crowded. Highly recommended!!

**Disappointing experience - unnecessary trip!** I contacted this restaurant by phone to make sure I could get something to eat since I traveled an extra 20 km from Tauberbischofsheim. I was kindly confirmed on the phone that the kitchen was still open and I could come over. But when I arrived on site, I was informed that the kitchen had already closed. I understand that misunderstandings can sometimes arise, but incorrect information like this is simply annoying, especially after a long journey. I was looking forward to a good meal and would have liked the communication between the phone and the restaurant to work better. Unfortunately, this was my first and probably last experience here. Very disappointing!

Unfortunately today's visit was not satisfactory. I still had fond memories of the Zunfstuben Poseidon from my last visit. We were assigned a table quite quickly and were able to order drinks and food after a slightly longer wait. My red wine arrived with what felt like a temperature of around 25C. Soon I would have ordered ice cubes as well, as the drink was so warm. The starter arrived after a long 30 minutes and the main course took another 30 minutes to arrive. Food was then served to us carelessly. The tzatziki was somehow oversalted and the garlic potatoes were mushy, not at all crispy and the garlic itself was missing. The potatoes were at most tossed in garlic butter. Salad was also missing. This had to be ordered separately for an additional charge in order to further disguise the price increase that had already occurred. The payment process was rather unfriendly and an absolute no-go was the complimentary schnapps at the end, which visibly every guest had received and which we left out. Either all or none...

I have no idea where the positive reviews come from, my experience today contradicts that. The meat is grilled and dry on one side only. The garlic potatoes were an absolute joke. Of four waitresses, only one was very friendly. I found the rest to be either arrogant, unprofessional or simply uninterested in unknown customers. After consulting with other customers, it was probably significantly better some time ago. No recommendation from me.
