Not standard Greek food, great development

We chose the Poseidon at the end of a day trip to visit our daughter and can recommend it without reservation. Cozy and attractive atmosphere, friendly and very attentive service, delicious food. We'd love to come back.

Our visit was okay. Very nice atmosphere inside the restaurant. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food wasn't anything special for our taste, we're used to something different. Unfortunately my skewer wasn't cooked all the way through and had some thick pieces of fat on the meat, not very tasty. My husband's gyro was okay... My criticism was handled very professionally.

The Poseidon has been around for a long time, but is now under new management. It's comfortable to sit in and the decor is very nice. The service is friendly and really nice. The cuisine is Greek, fine and with sophistication. For anyone who likes to see beautiful dishes, this is great too.

I had dinner with my girlfriend at your place on Saturday evening. We were well greeted and served. We had starters of shrimp, garlic bread with tatziki and goat cheese with jam. For the main course, my girlfriend had the salmon fillet with rice and I had the fish plate with extra octopus and rosemary potatoes. I was actually convinced. Our bill was €130 and I even gave him €145. We left the restaurant at 10:30 p.m. At 1:30/2am I felt so sick I vomited all night. Then the EMERGENCY DOCTOR came and determined that I had FISH POISONING. I threw up 13 times and felt sick all day yesterday. I was convinced but now I will NEVER eat there again. I've never experienced anything like that CATASTROPHE

We were here for the first time. Very, very modern furnishings, even the toilet had a pleasant atmosphere. The food was impeccable. We had different types of meat and also tzatziki...normally I don't like it here. The meat was on point, the gyros were excellent and the service was very, very polite...it was a lovely evening and we will definitely be back!

Wir waren gestern mit einer Mädelsgruppe von 8 Personen dort zum Essen. Von Service bis Essen war alles einfach super. Der Kellner Ilyas war sehr aufmerksam, Charmant und sehr freundlich. Wie man das kennt aus Griechenland… Ouzu aufs Haus und sehr leckere Vorspeisen,für jeden was dabei! Die Location sehr modern und gemütlich eingerichtet! Wir werden sicher öfters hier einkehren in Zukunft :) Danke für diesen schönen Abend bei euch im Restaurant !

Wir waren das erste Mal seit dem Umbau wieder hier, keine Frage dieser ist rund um gelungen. Doch mir fehlt das gemütliche ein wenig und typische griechische. Warum hieß eine Platte nur No.1 oder No.2 anstatt Akropolis Platte zum Beispiel. Es ist nun alles sehr stylisch und stilvoll und so hebt sich das Poseidon auf jedenfall von anderen griechischen Restaurants ab. Leider sind meiner Meinung auch die Portionen kleiner geworden, für knapp 20 Euro des Fleischtellers hätte es gerne etwas mehr sein dürfen. Das Personal ist gewohnt super freundlich und schnell und die Vorspeisen und Hauptgerichte waren alle sehr gut. Man kann das Restaurant auf jedenfall empfehlen auch wenn jetzt alles erwas gehobener ist.

Wir waren heute seit mehreren Jahren mal wieder hier im Poseidon in Offenbach. Der Umbau ist super gut gelungen und das Essen war auch immer noch lecker! Toll renoviertes Lokal! Modern aber doch gemütlich und das Essen war wirklich durchweg lecker! Wir hatten Vorspeisen als auch verschiedene Hauptgerichte und alle waren zufrieden. Der Service war auch super aufmerksam und freundlich!

Da ich als überzeugter und großgewordener Veggie eingeladen wurde, kann ich zum Fleischbuffet nichts sagen. ;) Aaaber: Das Mousaka vegetarisch war lecker, jedoch meiner Meinung nach hätte man noch ruhig eine kleine Beilage dazu geben können. Brot musste extra bezahlt werden und das Ambiente war mir persönlich nicht griechisch genug. Fazit: Es war okay, aber umgehauen hat es mich nicht.

Der Umbau hat sich wirklich gelohnt

Ich war da mit ehemaligen Kollegen zum Essen da. Das Essen war okay aber nicht gerade günstig. Gyros war leider nicht knusprig und auch teilweise fettig. Den Spieß sollte man aus Metall und nicht aus Holz machen. Lässt sich sehr schwer trennen. Könnte auch allgemein besser gewürzt sein.

Nach einer Veranstaltung in der Stadthalle sind wir hierher zum Essen gefahren und hier stimmte alles. Tolles Ambiente, sehr nette Bedienung und richtig leckeres Essen und das alles zu einem fairen Preis.

Das letzte mal in alter Form 😉aber Sorge das Essen und alles drumherum war wieder bestens. HINWEIS ab 17.6.23 wird komplett umgebaut deshalb bis SEPTEMBER geschlossen also nochmal e schnell zu essen feiern oder sich was gönnen hingehen. 👍👍👍👍👍

Superleckeres Essen, seit vielen Jahren gleich gute Qualität… hervorragender Service… schönes Ambiente zum Wohlfühlen… Sogar mit mittlerweile 4 Hunden, in 2 Familien, wird man immer herzlich begrüßt. Perfekt - s o sollte es in jedem Restaurant sein…dass man auch mit ,lieben’ Hunden erwünscht ist u. nicht wg. Hundeantipathie unerwünscht ist - wie im ital. Restaurant ,Trattodino‘ in der Taunusstrasse ! Aber gottseidank gibt es einige ital. Restaurants, die sich freuen, wenn wir kommen, da sie tierlieb sind u.selber Hunde haben, Dolce Vita in Mühlheim und das Dolce Vita in Heusenstamm, wo deren Hund sogar mit im Restaurant ist, ♥️

Der beste Grieche im Umkreis von 1.500 km … nicht nur das Essen , nein auch das Ambiente und der Service und das auf dem Bieberer Berg in offenbach ! Wer ahnt denn so was ? Mehr muss man nicht sagen

Wir waren zu viert mit dem Schlemmerblock im Poseidon. Es hat allen geschmeckt, ob Hähnchen mit Paprika in der Pfanne oder Korfu Platte. Anständige Portionen und netter Service. Gerne mal wieder!

Seit meinem letzten Besuch wurden die Preise etwas erhöht. Dafür meine ich, dass die Größe der Portionen auch größer wurden. Es hat allen geschmeckt, sowohl die Platten als auch das überbackene Gyros. Der Service hat auch gestimmt. Auch ohne Ouzo auf das Haus ein schönes Essen in Offenbach. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen.

Man kann hier sehr schön drinnen, aber auch draußen sitzen. Außen ist es zwar ein wenig laut wegen der Hauptstraße, jedoch gemütlich. Der Service ist immer und absolut stets Top. Die Qualität und der Geschmack der Speisen sind einfach sehr gut. Wir sind mittlerweile seit vielen Jahren Stammkunde, und ich denke es ist geschmacklich der Beste Grieche weit und breit. Da können andere Restaurants nicht mithalten. Die Preise sind ebenfalls sehr fair und die Portionen groß. Absolut weiter zu empfehlen, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Restaurant gehört zu mir und meinen Freunden bereits seit über 15 Jahren als unser Lieblingsrestaurant. Es ist der schmackhafteste Grieche weit und breit. Die Qualität ist immer gut, die Preise sind ebenfalls fair. Und das Essen schmeckt absolut Top. Zudem ist die Bedienung ebenfalls sehr aufmerksam, nett und freundlich. Wir kommen weiterhin sehr gerne hier her und können es wirklich jedem empfehlen.

Uns gefällt es im Poseidon. Die Atmosphäre ist gut, die Leute sehr freundlich (ohne zu freundlich zu sein) und das Essen schmeckt immer. Einzig und allein sind die Portionen etwas zu übersichtlich. Ein etwas größerer Salat und ein paar Beilagen mehr wären schön. An der Qualität ansich gibt es aber nichts auzusetzen.

Waren gestern Abend dort mit Freunden. Das Lokal ist nett eingerichtet und sauber, einschl. der Toiletten. Die Bedienung ist sehr aufmerksam und Preis-Leistung gut. Leider ist das Fleisch zu trocken gebraten. Alle hatten Gyros und ich hatte Lamm bei allen Gerichten wurde das Fleisch todgebraten. Bei meinem Lamm war aufgrund dessen keine Soße mehr im keinen Bräter, da diese komplett aufgesogen wurde von den Reisnudeln; geschmacklich aber gut. Leider sehr schade! Kann keine Empfehlung geben.
