The children took over their parents' restaurant and turned it into one of the best and most delicious Greek restaurants in Offenbach and the surrounding area. They renovated it and created a very pleasant atmosphere. The food is absolutely fantastic. Try the leg of lamb or the baby calamari. Even the appetizer of baked feta cheese is amazing. Finally, a different approach, not like at every other Greek restaurant with thick breading, but with filo pastry, honey, and sesame seeds. Truly wonderful! The owners are always very friendly. You feel very welcome. We love going there. As I said, the food is incredibly delicious. 😊

After a vacation on Thasos, we simply couldn't get enough of Greek cuisine and were looking for a nearby restaurant where you could order dishes that went beyond the usual, Germanized dishes and combinations of gyros, souvlaki, and bifteki. Don't get me wrong: we love gyros, souvlaki, and bifteki, but Greek cuisine has so much more to offer, but unfortunately, it's rarely found in the restaurants in the area. We found what we were looking for at Poseidon and were not disappointed. We were thrilled from appetizer to dessert and would definitely come back.

We received a friendly and professional welcome. The restaurant offers a varied, tasteful ambiance, divided into different zones. An ouzo was served as an appetizer, a non-alcoholic shandy was no problem, and even my order of a grilled meat, which I expanded to include a Greek farmer's sausage, was very pleasant. The food arrived after about 10-15 minutes and was perfect for me. If you don't want to dine outside on the main street, this is a good place to stay. Even €80 for three people, including food and drinks, is within budget.

Some of the best Greek food in the area. The atmosphere is inviting, and the music is great. The food and drinks were impeccable. Very good Greek coffee and the No. 1 grill plate with rice, pictured in the picture. The price/performance ratio is 100% right here. Parking is available nearby. During rush hour, you may have to walk for 5 minutes. Tip: There's a large parking lot at the Wald sports grounds, an 8-minute walk away. Special thanks for the great service! We come here every now and then and have never been disappointed. My wife is a vegetarian and has always found something here. The wait time is okay. Service is always very attentive and attentive! There's no parking directly in front of the door, but there's always a spot nearby.

The food is simply fantastic: Our perennial favorites include (to start) the goat cheese in angel hair with fig jam, and the feta in filo pastry. Both are delicious! While the more unusual dishes and grilled platters are always a great discovery (e.g., the braised lamb shank in red wine jus, or the pork skewer), we also regularly return for the "classic" gyro: We've never experienced one so juicy on the inside and so spicy and crispy on the outside. A dream! By the way, vegetarians are happy here too! :) Add to that the lovely, attentive staff, who always serve us warmly and seem to anticipate our every wish. Even if the food were only half as good, we would keep coming back just for the way we're greeted... Speaking of which: We've become regulars there now. Whenever we have guests from out of town, we take them to Poseidon first—to showcase what Offenbach has to offer in terms of cuisine—and thus grow our fan base! While we greatly enjoy the friendly atmosphere and service on-site, you can also easily take the food to go for a cozy evening at home.

We ate on a Saturday evening around 5:30 PM, without a reservation. Extensive menu, delicious food, friendly service. Everything was well-maintained, and all for a reasonable price!

This was my first time at this restaurant, although I've driven past it many times. That's the biggest problem: there are no parking spaces on site, so you have to find your way around and walk. Once you've done that, it's a tastefully decorated restaurant that presents traditional elements in a modern setting. The reception is friendly, and the service is generally fast, reliable, and friendly. The food tastes excellent and doesn't need to shy away from comparison with Greek cuisine. The portions are also generous. We ate an excellent cheese appetizer, pita with oregano (even if the price isn't worth it; it was a small amount, and although the bread is delicious, it was only sprinkled with oregano), moussaka, and a bifteki/gyro plate.

I ate at your restaurant with my girlfriend on Saturday evening. We were greeted and served well. We had appetizers with shrimp, garlic bread with tatziki, and goat cheese with jam. For the main course, my girlfriend had the salmon fillet with rice, and I had the fish plate with extra octopus and rosemary potatoes. I was actually convinced. Our bill was €130, and I even gave him €145. We left the restaurant at 10:30 p.m. At 1:30/2 a.m., I felt so nauseous that I vomited all night. Then the emergency doctor came and diagnosed me with fish poisoning. I threw up 13 times and felt sick all day yesterday. I was convinced, but now I'm NEVER eating there again. I've never experienced anything like this. CATASTROPHE

At the entrance you can see how much love there is! Each room has its own style, a beautiful combination of colors and materials. The young managers warmly took us to our table and also gave us very friendly advice! Every plate was not only delicious, it also looked very lovely (a compliment to the chef)!!! Overall very satisfied and we will come again.

Really an excellent restaurant! I visited this restaurant with my family because we often vacation in Greece and we really like the food and we were craving Greek. The visit was definitely fulfilling. The food was very good, the restaurant was very chic, but at the same time simple and very welcoming. The service was the best. The waiters were all very positive and gave you attention when you needed it and gave you peace of mind when you needed it. The order was taken with a smile and the food was ready pretty quickly. I haven't experienced such good service in a long time. The only aspects that one could complain about would be the prices, which are quite high, and the location, which also does not offer parking spaces for guests. Otherwise a 5/5 restaurant for me, which I would love to visit for a celebratory event. Be it an anniversary, birthday, or celebrating any success.

Our visit was okay. Very nice atmosphere inside the restaurant. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food wasn't anything special for our taste, we're used to something different. Unfortunately my skewer wasn't cooked all the way through and had some thick pieces of fat on the meat, not very tasty. My husband's gyro was okay... My criticism was handled very professionally.

The Poseidon has been around for a long time, but is now under new management. It's comfortable to sit in and the decor is very nice. The service is friendly and really nice. The cuisine is Greek, fine and with sophistication. For anyone who likes to see beautiful dishes, this is great too.
