Porree-Bar in Dortmund

Wir waren hier zum zweiten mal. Man sitzt hier sehr ruhig, abseits der Hauptstraße am Rand einer Kleingartenanlage. In diesem Sommer herrlich auf der geräumigen Terrasse mit Blick ins Grüne. Die Speisekarte ist sehr reichhaltig. Wir waren mit Mehreren hier, Jeder hatte etwas anderes und allen hat es sehr gut geschmeckt! Man kann an kühleren Tagen auch sehr gut im Restaurantinnenbereich sitzen.

😊👍 ​Die Speisekarte präsentiert sich als sehr abwechslungsreich und bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die Schnitzel, die man unbedingt probieren sollte! Sie sind nicht nur besonders lecker, sondern die großen Portionen sorgen auch dafür, dass niemand hungrig nach Hause geht. Das gebotene Essen und die Portionsgröße stehen in einem sehr guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. ​​Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt betrifft den Beilagensalat. Dieser fällt im Gegensatz zu den Hauptgerichten sehr übersichtlich aus und könnte etwas großzügiger bemessen sein. ​Die sanitären Anlagen befinden sich im Keller, waren bei meinem Besuch jedoch sehr sauber und gepflegt. ​Zahlung: Positiv ist auch, dass die Kreditkartenzahlung möglich ist. ​Fazit: Die Porree Bar ist eine klare Empfehlung für alle, die Wert auf schmackhaftes Essen, große Portionen und faire Preise legen. Wer über den knappen Beilagensalat hinwegsehen kann, wird hier definitiv fündig!

Bisher waren wir nur einfache Gäste im Restaurant und gestern hatten wir eine Feier mit 44 Personen in der Porreebar. Angefangen hat es mit einer sehr guten Beratung rund um das Essen, die Getränke, die Sitzordnung, womit wir sehr zufrieden waren. Bis hin zu der gestrigen Feier, waren wir sehr zufrieden mit dem Essen, dem Service und dem sehr freundlichen Personal! Genau so waren auch unsere Gäste äußerst mit allem zufrieden, was sie auch dem Personal sagten. Die Porreebar hat mit der gestrigen Feier eine sehr gute Eigenwerbung gemacht. Wir werden es weiter empfehlen und stets wieder kommen!

Ich hätte gerne die Gerichte in der Porree-Bar probiert und vielleicht auch meinen Besuch positiv bewertet, aber leider hat das nicht geklappt. Habe um 18.45 Uhr telefonisch einen Tisch für 19.30 Uhr reservieren wollen. Laut Auskunft alle Tische belegt, keine Reservierung möglich aber wir können ja gerne vorbei schauen. Um 19.40 dort eingetroffen würde uns von der Bedienung mitgeteilt: "Normalerweise ist die Küche bis 20.00 Uhr geöffnet, aber da alle schon gegessen haben ist die Küche jetzt zu"

Hallo erstmal. Also mal ganz ehrlich? Sowas unfreundliches an Kellnerin ist mir noch nicht passiert. Wir wollten am Freitag den 10.07.2026 um 16:10 in dem Biergarten ein zwei Getränke zu uns nehmen. Auf allen Tischen standen Reservierungen ab 17 und 18 Uhr. Wir haben uns dann an einen Tisch gesetzt und aufs Personal gewartet. Als die Kellnerin kam fragte sie ob wir Reserviert haben. Nein sagten wir und statt uns zu fragen was wir Vorhaben wurden wir weggeschickt. Gerade in der heutigen Zeit sollte man die Gäste nett behandeln. Lokal wurde von unserer Liste gestrichen. Martin

Wir haben am Valentinstag 2026 unsere Goldene Hochzeit im Saal mit ca 75 Gästen gefeiert. Alles war super, das Essen vom warmen und kalten Büfett - wie bekannt - reichlich und schmackhaft, die Bedienung war mit 6 Leuten + 4 in der Küche schnell, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Leere Platten wurden schnell wieder gefüllt. Wir können die Porreebar allen Leuten wärmstens empfehlen. Hier werden sie nicht enttäuscht. Wir kommen gerne wieder, aber: RESERVIERUNG nicht vergessen !!! Unsere Reservierung erfolgte anderthalb Jahre vorher. Denn der Valentinstag war außerdem Karnevalssamstag

Obwohl der Saal komplett voll war eine normale Wartezeit für das Essen. Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Wieder einmal sehr gutes Essen Alle neun Tischgäste waren wie immer zufrieden.

Wir waren zu einer Feier eingeladen mit über 50 Personen im großen Saal. Meiner Meinung nach waren es ca 10-15 Personen zu viel, da man beengt gesessen hat. Dafür war das Essen und der Service excellent

Kleines Gemütliches Restaurant mit Extra Raum für Festlichkeiten.

Gänsebraten mit Rotkohl und Klößen. Sehr lecker, die Küche kann ich nur empfehlen! Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis und Qualität ist wirklich gut. Reservierung wird empfohlen! Zum Nachtisch hatten wir den Bratapfel.

Phantastische Küche: es war rappelvoll und trotzdem hatten wir eine entspannte und aufmerksame Bedienung, das Essen und die Getränke kamen zügig und es schmeckte sehr lecker. Unglaublich was diese Küche leistet. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Wir haben im August unsere Hochzeit gefeiert und waren restlos zufrieden.Das essen war einfach bestens der Service perfekt!Der Saal ist sehr schön!Wir haben mit 55 Gästen eine wunderschöne Hochzeit gefeiert auch das dank des wunderschönen Ambiente der Porree Bar.

Preis/Leistung gut. Etwas lange Wartezeit wegen einer Veranstaltung. Aber dafür war alles sehr gut zu einem guten Preis. Bedienung einwandfrei. Nett und zuvorkommend. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Die stressige Anreise aus Düsseldorf hat sich gelohnt. Eine sehr nette Begrüßung und Bedienung und dann das wirklich sehr leckere Essen. Das hat doch Wiederholungscharakter !

A cozy, rustic dining room. Everyone is very attentive, the schnitzels are excellent, as are the fries. Anything you can't finish is, of course, packed up for you. We celebrated our mother's 86th birthday with 16 people. The table was beautifully set in the large hall. Unfortunately, there weren't enough staff on site, so service was very slow. The food this time was unfortunately very bad. The fries and vegetables with the steak were too salty. We pointed this out to the waitress, but they only replied that they would inform the kitchen. There were no new fries or vegetables. We ordered plaice, which stank, and was immediately returned. The waitress pointed out that it was fresh... fish is allowed to smell like that. We waited 45 minutes for the children's dessert, which was ice cream. Overall, it wasn't a successful evening; we're not used to that kind of thing from this restaurant. It's a shame, but that was our last table reservation at the Porreebar.

A small restaurant with down-to-earth cuisine. I highly recommend it.

Many thanks to the Porree Bar team for the wonderful birthday 🎂. We ate, drank, and celebrated there with over 10 people. Everyone praised the food; we ordered a wide variety of dishes from the menu, and everything was served at the same time, so we could eat together. The staff are very friendly, and the place is bright, clean, and comfortably furnished. This also lifted the mood of my guests. I would definitely recommend this place. The oriental looking boy, I think his name was Mo, was a great waiter. I am always pleased to see him because he is so sweet and always gives me two cookies with my coffee.

We were invited here for a get-together a few weeks ago. The allotment gardens are huge and have two other locations. Everything is very well maintained and the P-Bar was full. Without a reservation and with two groups, the outdoor area was also very busy. We had a buffet and all the meats were perfect. Nothing dry, marbled or tough. The sauces were homemade, as was the salad dressing. A delicious combination with salmon and ham. As befits Dortmund, a local pilsner. Delicious Brinkhoffs on tap and finally with a well-adjusted tap and carbonation. In these hot temperatures, it was fizzing. We'd love to come back and try the schnitzel buffet 😏 The crew was friendly and really attentive, but not pushy. The homemade lemonade was a hit with the drivers. With such great company, another lovely evening.

Very nicely done, the beach is equipped with rental loungers, and there's a large playground in front of the bar. The view of the Elbe River is very nice. The stairs to the upper bar are a bit steep, but still okay. Only self-service is available. Parking is available behind the marina.

Tuesday is potato pancake day 👍

It's a really good place to relax. I think the food is good, and when the sun is shining, you can sit outside. Since the place gets very busy, you should always make a reservation in advance. I find it very quiet here. I think the prices are reasonable. The service is friendly and attentive.

This isn't my first time visiting the Porree-Bar – and I'm impressed every time! The cleanliness immediately catches your eye. Everything is well-maintained, lovingly decorated, and very inviting. You immediately feel at home. The delicious food, such as the rump steak I enjoyed today with hash browns and fresh green beans – an absolute delight! The meat was cooked to perfection (medium rare in my case), nicely crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. The hash browns were golden brown and crispy, and the beans were wonderfully crunchy with a subtle hint of butter. You can simply taste the love and skill that goes into the cooking here, and all for a very reasonable price! The Porree-Bar also has a hall that can be used for all kinds of events, such as weddings, birthdays, etc. The chef and his team do a fantastic job. They accommodate special requests – as long as they're within reason – and are very friendly and accommodating. They know exactly what levers need to be pulled to make their customers happy. Great!

Cozy clubhouse in a garden complex! We were there for a celebration, and the food was excellent, with great service. Unfortunately, I can't comment on the price, but outside of the private parties, there was plenty of food!

On Tuesday there are perfect potato pancakes.

Unfortunately we were unlucky, the savoy cabbage roulade was completely burnt (black). Crusts on toast with hollandaise sauce? We got gravy with mushrooms and a slice of toast divided on the plate. Cheeseburger with not-so-good cheese! All in all, if you're hungry but have no taste and have to watch your budget, you don't have to feel comfortable here. for others, the Belvedere, Alboe Verde or Meistehaus are worth it.

Went to the Leek Bar for brunch today, great brunch buffet, everything your heart could desire, big compliments to the chef, the service was friendly and courteous as always, I can only recommend it, as well as the spagel dinner, we are regular guests, we have already made a reservation for the Christmas brunch.

Schnitzel was good, the fries were too light and the mashed potatoes were mediocre, the salad side dishes were very sparing. Gravy probably comes from a bag. If it's prepared by a trained chef, there's still room for improvement. We were there with a group and everyone wasn't impressed.

I actually don't know how such reviews come about, the food is just frozen ready-made products! The burger, the fact that the bun wasn't made by myself is ok, but the paddy was pressed meat from the frozen food department, tasteless and solid like concrete! The fries were pre-fried! Bah... Apple strudel TK! The oh-so-praised schnitzel was completely dried out and there was also a waiting time of 1.5 hours! And I said before that the waitress wasn't friendly and said it would take time... yes, it would take 1.5 hours but that's a huge difference! Price performance absolutely not ok! Once and never again only good for the summer to have a drink outside!

Very tasty food! During my last visit it was asparagus season and I have never had such good asparagus with salmon! But the other dishes I've tried so far were also very tasty! The location right in the garden including a small playground and nearby parking lot is also great. You can sit very comfortably inside and of course outside. The service is great. All employees are very friendly and special requests are taken into account as best as possible. I will visit the leek bar more often and maybe I will even find a dish that actually contains leek.
