We were impressed by the really delicious food (plenty) and the very friendly service. We can highly recommend this restaurant.

The food was excellent, and with a compliment to the chef and the friendly waiter with the beautiful hair (😏), we also got plenty of ouzo on the house *hiccup*. See you again!

We had dinner there with the family. Here everyone gets something they like. I'm not a big fan of Greek cuisine because of the strong spice, but I was pleasantly surprised.

A very good restaurant where you enjoy eating and, above all, very well. The staff has a good view of the table. A waiter always has a good saying and knows how to deal with the guests. The menu is extensive, typical of the country and can be classified as very affordable given the quality offered. You'll be happy to return there!

An absolute recommendation! The Greek restaurant Atos in Dortmund is a true culinary highlight! The quality of the food is simply outstanding - particularly noteworthy are the incredibly tender and perfectly seasoned steaks, especially the pepper steak, which melts in your mouth. The souvlaki are also a delight: juicy, aromatic and fresh from the grill – exactly as they should be! There is also excellent Greek beer that goes perfectly with the food and rounds off the evening. The atmosphere is warm and authentic, you immediately feel welcome. If you love Greek food or just want to enjoy something special, you definitely shouldn't miss Atos!

Das Restaurant Athos ist eines der Highlights griechischer Küche in Dortmund. Immer alles frisch und herzlich zubereitet. Besonders Babis aber auch Oksana runden das Bild durch ihre Art und ihre Aufmerksamkeit ab. Es macht immer wieder Spaß dort Essen zu gehen.

It's not just the food that's great here. The service is at least as good. It's a wonderful, fun climate in here. The managing director is an open, funny and very nice person. Not only does the food taste very good, the prices for the food are, in my opinion, reasonable for today's prices. I can only recommend it to anyone who wants to give their mouth pleasure orgasms.

We were in town for the motorcycle trade fair and filled our stomachs. The boss? An original! So fun that for a moment we thought we had accidentally booked a comedy show. The waitresses? So nice that you almost feel adopted. The food? Simply divine! Meat that melts in your mouth, portions that are enough for hungry motorcyclists, and prices that won't make you cry - except with joy. Ouzo? Let's put it this way: He came quite often and usually without being asked. At some point we stopped counting... maybe because we couldn't anymore. Extra plus point: The restaurant is dog-friendly! Water bowls were available and some guests had their four-legged friends with them. It remains unclear whether they also received ouzo. We were also allowed to charge our cell phones upon request. Conclusion: If you are looking for good food, a good mood and free ouzo, you should definitely stop by here. But just to be on the safe side, keep the next morning free! 🍖🍷🐶

Very pleasant stay with 18 people. Changing the Reser6wsr is also no problem in the short term. We were served buffet platters for everyone instead of a la carte, which was also totally uncomplicated. Very friendly service!

We called spontaneously on Saturday after Comic-Con and got a table straight away - I've rarely had such a good Greek meal. EVERYTHING was really right, starting from the service, the quality of the food and the taste were fantastic - absolutely deserved 5 stars and definitely bookmarked for the next visit to Dortmund.

The food is always fresh and super tasty. The head waiter Babis is fun for everyone and is simply the best. It's not the same to eat there without him. All other employees are always very friendly and accommodating. We really enjoy going there regularly to end the evening.

We have been to this restaurant three times now. The meals were always tasty and well prepared. BUT points deducted due to... Anyone who asks loudly for “And the tip” when paying with a card, and not for the first time, has lost their integrity. And the tip!!! And I'm used to receiving an invoice/receipt when checking out. And not just the EC receipt. So for the overall impression, 2 stars, which don't particularly shine.

Hello, I've eaten here with my grandfather dozens of times now. I've never been disappointed here. My grandpa loves it here so much that he wants to eat there with me (almost) every Sunday. The wait staff, especially Babis, are simply lovely. Always great advice, you are remembered and you feel like you are the king of the world. The food is always top. Special requests are very happy to be taken into account. I would love to come here again! And over and over again!

We were here for the Xth time on November 9th, 2024. For us the best Greek in Dortmund. Price performance perfect, as always very tasty, top service. We were in the restaurant on four evenings during the trade fair in Dortmund - sometimes with 4, sometimes with up to 10 people - and it was an absolute pleasure every time! The entire team is incredibly friendly, attentive and exudes typical Greek hospitality. What's particularly great is that everyone in the restaurant gets Uso, which immediately lightens the mood and ensures an authentic experience. The food is simply first class – fresh, tasty and the portions are more than generous. No matter whether you come in a small group or with a large group, you will always feel welcome here. We can only warmly recommend the restaurant!

I have been visiting the restaurant regularly since it opened. During the lockdown I used the pick-up service. After the change of ownership, the quality has become the same or even better. I would particularly like to mention the excellent service, and especially Babi's. I always feel welcome.

The Athos is a restaurant with a wonderful ambience thanks to the attention to detail in the exceptional furnishings. The outdoor area is small but cozy and surprisingly quiet despite the adjacent street. The selection of food leaves nothing to be desired and the quality and price-performance ratio are convincing. But I would particularly like to highlight the service. The owner is an innkeeper in the best sense of the word and the team is friendly and fast. We felt comfortable and would love to come back.

In advance. This was our second time here. The food was very good. But we were appalled by the service. It started with the order. We asked for a dip for the baked potato. Answer. We're not with the French. My husband ordered a regular bifteki. (There was also gratinated). Again the answer that everything is normal here. I knew from my last visit that we all got an ouzo in advance, which we also saw at the tables next to us. After we had eaten and wanted to pay we got the ouzo. I asked the waiter that the last time we got an ouzo in advance. The answer: That was the last time. It's really not about the ouzo but the tone was probably supposed to sound funny but it was in no way appropriate.

Today we spontaneously went to Athos because we wanted to try out a new restaurant. The service was really friendly and served us really quickly. The food was super tasty and tender (Athos plate). So for a Greek evening we can really recommend it. We will be back.

Good food and nice service. We barely had time to sit down before both the ouzon and the children's schnapps were in place. The guys took the chicken nuggets, which was clearly approved. We adults tried moussaka and lamb fillet, which was more than approved. We got salad and bread which was only included. We drank mythos and red wine with the food. A perfect end to the evening in Dortmund. 🇬🇷🇩🇪❤️🍻😊

We had a very tasty meal there today with around 30 people. The staff was very attentive and quick. He responded very kindly to all requests and even brought an extra portion of starter because of food intolerance.

A very friendly welcome and an ouzo on the house! For example, we ordered starters (cold platter for 2 people) which was really plentiful but...... All ready-made products except for the tzatziki, pickled grape leaves from a can, thick white beans from a can, taramas was also a ready-made product, as was the eggplant salad! It's a shame you can really do everything yourself quickly, at Taramas I understand that it was bought ready-made! Then came the salad that came with the main course, which could have been saved, dreary green salad chopped into small pieces/grated carrot, two slices of tomatoes with ready-made dressing! The main courses were ok, nothing special! What the restaurateur can't do is simply my conclusion: dear Greek chefs, finally cook Greek cuisine and not these Germanized finished products are of any use! Greek cuisine is a simple cuisine but authentically fresh and tasty, it's better not to put so much on the menu for it to be fresh! Yesterday we paid almost 100 euros for three people, which is not a small amount! But for us there will be no second visit!

Foods is ok but you can pay only with cash and the waiter girl told me the tips that I should ask her in the beginning that I want to pay with the card. What!! Is now 2010? How should I do if I have no cash🙄

ATHOS: Greek flair in Dortmund. You would hardly suspect it, but here you will find really good and appealing Greek cuisine as we know it. Quite a bit annoying with meat, but very good quality and taste. The service is super friendly and accommodating. As already written in some reviews, you are first greeted with an ouzo as an aperitif. And things continue just as friendly and attentive. The restaurant is noted and I would definitely like to come back again when I am here in Dortmund. So all in all five stars for this restaurant.
