Poppy Burger in Berlin

A real taste experience! I was particularly surprised by the sauce – super delicious! Eating with the gloves was not only practical, but also a cool experience that gave the whole thing a special touch. The chicken pieces were incredibly tender and juicy – ​​really cooked to perfection. In the end we were more than full and extremely satisfied. Definitely worth a visit if you like really good food!

Very solid burger shop with great creations and friendly employees

The concept is there, the implementation is not! We waited for about 40 minutes, the fries were definitely twice fried. The burger was ok, but very small and the side was not seared, but BURNT. All in all, for the price and portion, no recommendation.

We were there 5 years ago and left a FACTUAL two-star review. We didn't like the price, performance and ambience. Instead of working on the criticized points, they wrote a poisonous response and now, years later, had the review deleted on the grounds of “slander and defamation”. This review is for the PRENZLAUER BERG POPPY BURGER - the new Number ONE Burger in Berlin. Wow - what the hell was that:) I never wrote a review before I finished eating but this yummy food was so insanely great that I started to write while still enjoying. Looking at the menu I was attracted by the few but great choices that can be combined infinitely. I had a talk with the very friendly owner instantly realizing his genius regarding his business vision but I had no idea that everything this guy was saying was still a gross understatement in relation to the world class yummy food that was waiting for me. He suggested the poppy box including two burgers (I had a beef melt and a cheese burger), cheese sauce and pommes and I have to tell you, ladies and gentlemen - do it when you have the chance. Warming up with some pommes as I usually do, not knowing that EVERYTHING HERE is so tasty, I had to restrain myself from instantly wiping them out because of the burgers that still had to fit into my stomach. The burgers are at another level, from another planet, melting in your mouth and of the best quality that I encountered in a very long time. I only have one thing to complain: The very modest owner is a food magician, behaving like he's running a normal business but you should know that this is not your normal burger shop. It is truly outstanding.

Unfortunately my expectations were not met. Burger and cheese sauce were only lukewarm. There is still room for improvement in terms of taste.

Ordered today, delivery was relatively quick but what arrived was a total disaster. Both boxes that were delivered were packed upside down so I first turned the box over and the whole cheese sauce spilled out onto me. The tater tots were completely covered in cheese sauce and inedible. In general, there was actually nothing that great in terms of taste or appearance. I know everyone can have a bad day, but in this case I think it was just the way it was prepared and how it was packaged. The chicken had a very strange, musty flavor and was also burnt, as were the burger buns, which in this case didn't add more flavor but simply a charcoal taste. Poppy burger once and it was so bad that I will never order there again in my entire life and would advise anyone not to eat there. How people can eat something like that is very questionable and if you're in the mood for burgers, you'd be better off at McCes. If you don't believe it, feel free to try it yourself and then you'll agree with me. Really just a shame

This was our second time at Poppy Burger and after the previous changes and the reopening we wanted to give the new concept a chance. Unfortunately, our impression has only partially improved this time: The waiting time was at least 30 minutes, as described in other reviews. Unfortunately, the chicken tenders were over-fried and tasted burnt, and the chicken patty melt wasn't great. On the positive side, the Tater Tots were really tasty and the Party Beef Melt was fine.

Today I ate at Poppy Burger for the first time. First the positive: The food was really tasty. The fries were nice and crispy and the burger tasted good. Still, we had to wait over 30 minutes for our food even though the place was almost empty and there were only two customers in front of us. I also explicitly said twice that I didn't want any sauces on my burger in the box. Still, garlic sauce and a hot sauce were all over the burger. Since I can't tolerate spicy food, this really annoyed me, especially since I had ordered the burger to take away and therefore couldn't eat it. Luckily we had ordered an additional burger that didn't have any sauces on it and I was able to remove the jalapenos. Overall, the food was good, but I probably won't visit the store again.

I ordered via Uber Eats and had to wait over 2 hours. If you can't handle it personally, I would have been grateful if you had simply canceled instead of telling the messenger three times that it would only take 20 minutes.

I haven't had such a good burger in a long time. These sauces that are included cannot be found anywhere in Germany. Also very nice condition.

To be honest, I got a stomach ache, it was too much of a good thing. On the next day I had to release the good bits from my stomach every 10 minutes

The visit to Poppy Burger was a complete success! The atmosphere is modern and inviting, the staff very friendly. The burgers are fantastic – juicy meat, fresh ingredients and creative combinations. The homemade fries and dips round off the taste experience perfectly. Price-performance is absolutely right. A must for all burger fans!

Addition 2024: In the new location there is a completely different range of food and no longer an indoor area. The meat tasted like old fat. The only plus point is super nice service. Burgers with cheese sauce are becoming more and more popular and Poppy Burger® is following suit. Food: The burger menu with cheese sauce is very, very clever and I've never seen it like that before. 4 normal half hamburgers are placed in a box with cheese sauce and then fries are added on top. And you can get that for around €20. It tasted fantastic and I didn't regret adding a cheese dip to it. More cheese sauce is always possible. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the service or ambience this time because I ordered the food and the delivery person wasn't part of the restaurant. In summary, it can be said that it is worth trying out the new trends, such as the burger with lots of cheese sauce, and seeing for yourself.

Burgers very tasty. The meat is juicy and fried to perfection. The chicken tenders were fried just as juicy and very tasty. The fries were very good. The prices are okay. The ambience is okay. I had one of the best burgers of my life. It was 2 AM and the guy really took his time to make it taste so well.

I took the vegan hamburger because it was supposed to have pickles on it. But there's no cucumber on it. Little salad and generally bland. Oh and completely cold like it came out of the fridge. How the hell do Lieferando get 4.9 stars? Incredible Unavailable by phone!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the burger joint and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The burgers were not only delicious, but also juicy and well prepared. I was particularly impressed by the unique mozzarella sticks, which were a nice change from the usual side dishes. Unfortunately, I have to say that the portion of fries was a little too small for my taste. A more generous portion would have been appreciated to complete the overall experience. Nevertheless, the service was excellent and the ambience was pleasant. My experience would have been even better with a more generous portion of fries. Overall, though, I can definitely recommend the burger joint, especially for the delicious burgers and unique mozzarella sticks.

On the one hand, I tried the Master Chili Burger and I have to say it has really unique flavor components. Personally, it's a little too much sauce for me, but that's subjective and everyone has to decide for themselves. Nice service and very open-minded boss. The store itself is really very small and we were lucky that no one was there with us. But I can well imagine that it would be stressful with several people in such a small space. Still an absolute recommendation and I will come back

BBQ burger was edible but old fat seems to be the favorite seasoning here! Scammer/Health hazard!/Never ever order here! Prove in pictures!/Proof in photos! Light makes them look brighter than they are! Both eaters have stomach cramps on the toilet after just a few bites. Trying to get his money back is probably in vain.

Auf Lieferando hatte das Restaurant 5 Sterne. Hätt ich mal vorher hier geschaut :( Ich hab leider eine Lebensmittelvergiftung bekommen und lieg seit 2 Tagen flach. Die Burger waren an sich sehr lecker, Pommes wurden falsch geliefert. 33€ für 2 Burger und Pommes waren es einfach nicht wert

...leider musste ich 3,5 h auf einen Onlinebestellung warten, mit dem Ergebnis das meine Bestellung storniert wurde. Auch stimmt die angegeben Nummer nicht und bei der recherchierte Nummer ist nur ein Band angeschlossen....schade, dabei hätte die Hotline mit einem Anruf das Onlinegeschäft ausgesetzt, falls es Schwierigkeiten gegeben hätte. naja liegt wohl am Stress...ich musste dann 22 h hunrig zu Bett gehen...:O(

Die social Media Präsenz dieses Unternehmens ist äußerst fragwürdig. Kommentare unter ihren Videos werden einfach mit Beleidigungen gekontert. Geht gar nicht klar so ein Verhalten. Eigentlich gar kein Stern, aber da ich noch nie da essen war kann ich das Restaurant als solches nicht bewerten, aber was Leute hier Posten scheint auch auf dem Gebiet für sich zu sprechen. Ich würde da niemals essen gehen und es auch niemandem raten was zwar voreingenommen wirken mag, aber das ist eure eigene Schuld so wie ihr euch verhaltet.

Their fried-chicken-burger is insanely delicious. I've tried a few other burgers but many seem a bit carelessly prepared, which doesn't necessarily justify the price. In general, a good burger joint but still with room for improvement.

Pommes absolut überteuert und ohne Ketchup oder majo geliefert…5,90€ wtf. Der Burger… als Cheeseburger beschrieben. War mit Aubergine und sogenannter hauseigener Soße… aber die war gefühlt nur Senf. Das er dadurch scharf ist sollte man erwähnen… denn viele mögen das nicht. Overall überteuert aber der Burger war lecker. Geiles Brötchen gutes Patty…. Nur fehlte die Tomate … ein Cheeseburger ist eben ein Cheeseburger… sollte das klassische drauf sein.

Ja Poppyburger. Was soll ich hier groß sagen ? Der Youtuber-Influencer Burgerladen des Jahres ? Alle Hypen diesen Laden. In meinen Augen völlig zu Unrecht. Schaut euch doch schon Mal den Burger im Bild an. Das Patty ist nicht annähernd so groß wie das Bun. Man haut die günstigsten Sachen an Mass drauf damit der Burger massiv aussieht, während die Sachen auf die es bei einem guten Burger ankommen auf der Strecke bleiben. BIO Fleisch hin oder her aber wenn da gefühlt eine halbe Scheibe Bacon auf dem Teil ist und nur 6/10 des Burgers mit Fleisch bedeckt sind, läuft da was falsch. Vielleicht liegt es an meiner Uber Eats Bestellung oder so. Denn bei den Lieferanten hat Poppy ja immer nur Bewertungen im Unteren - Mittelmaß. Fakto ist, dass was ich bei den ganzen Youtubern gesehen habe, habe ich nicht bekommen. Geschmacklich war der scharfe Burger wirklich hot und der Burger mit der Salsa Guacamole ganz gut. Aber wie gesagt wenn das Verhältnis bei einem Burger nicht stimmt dann ist das auch nur Nebensache. Der Burgerbun bestimmt auch super. Aber wie schon erwähnt es ist versaut durch zu wenig worauf es ankommt. Komischer Laden.
