The pizzas are really good. The spaghetti carbonara and the tiramisu... unbelievable how anyone could disappoint someone with something like that. I can make carbonara so much better, and the tiramisu was just cream with watery coffee sponge cake.

We were always very satisfied! If you're looking for good, varied Italian cuisine, this is the place for you :)

We ordered two dishes for delivery. We were told it would take 45 minutes. The food didn't arrive until two hours after we called. The food was cold. The taste was okay.

Christmas dinner booked four weeks ago for 15 people. On the day of the dinner, five hours before our annual event, the manager contacted me, threatening to charge a €30 fee for each missing person. I was absolutely furious. What an outrageous cheek to contact me with such a preposterous demand just five hours before the meal! Why wasn't I informed of this when I made the reservation (I would have chosen a more customer-friendly restaurant!)? Am I supposed to contact all my colleagues five hours beforehand to find out if anyone has suddenly fallen ill? It's fine to double-check how many people are likely to attend, but threatening those who are present with a €30 fee for each missing person is brazen, outrageous, and unacceptable. The dinner did take place, but our "Christmas spirit" was ruined. The restaurant will have 15 fewer customers in the future, and word of mouth among family, friends, and colleagues will likely reduce that even further. This will certainly be a bigger loss for the restaurant in the future than the loss of one or two colleagues who might suddenly fall ill. Management should really think about this!

I had made a reservation at Pomodorino (four weeks in advance) and was given a two-hour time slot, which was perfectly fine. However, after an hour, with our glasses full, a woman came and, in a completely condescending and arrogant manner, informed us that she now had to charge us because the table was needed for someone else. Sorry, that's unacceptable. When I go out to eat at these prices, I want to have a pleasant evening, not be rushed to eat as much as possible in the shortest amount of time and then be treated like that. I won't comment on the food itself, as the aforementioned circumstances completely ruined any enjoyment.

We gladly make the 40-50 kilometer drive to enjoy a delicious meal at Pomodorino. The atmosphere is great – and it's to be expected that a popular restaurant might be a bit noisy these days. However, what has significantly dampened our recent visits is the service from the younger, dark-haired woman. She has repeatedly struck us as remarkably arrogant and rude. When you want to spend a pleasant evening with friends and enjoy a good meal, this unfortunately immediately affects the mood. Of course, everyone is allowed to have a bad day or not smile all the time. However, we've been there several times now, and each time this negative impression has been confirmed. It's a real shame, because the food and atmosphere are otherwise highly recommended.

Hidden on the street, this gem has some of the best Frutti di Mare anywhere. It rivals Rome. Lived in Germany for a total of 11 years. Definitely the best Italian dishes (the wife concurs) in that beautiful country. The staff are super hospitable and accommodating (even in the last 20 min before Nachmittags Pause). English language friendly and humbly affordable. Mangia adesso!

I was there for the first time today and I'm thrilled. The service, food, and atmosphere are all top-notch. The food was incredibly fresh and presented with such care... amazing!! The pizzas are unbeatable!!!!! The best thing was my lemon soufflé with pistachios 🧡🧡🧡🧡

My evening review from August has disappeared. Back then, it was packed in the evening, tables were crammed together, I just barely managed to get a seat. I had a calzone. Today's lunch special: 16 cm diameter pizza with a small mixed salad for €11, fresh mushrooms, delicious dressing, but it won't fill everyone up. The non-alcoholic wheat beer was very drinkable.

Disastrous – at least when it comes to delivery. First off, we've been frequent guests at Pomodorino. The service was always excellent, and the food was always very good. However: Since December, we became parents and can no longer eat out as often. The logical solution: order delivery. Unfortunately, Pomodorino has been a complete disappointment in this regard. Long delivery times, incorrect dishes delivered, and to top it all off, some dishes arrived ice cold (about 4-5 orders since December). Each time, improvements or compensation were promised. None of these promises were kept! Thanks, Pomodorino, but we will never order from you again!

Wonderful pizza and pasta joint. I enjoyed the spinach pizza and my wife thought her spagetti was very tasty. Personally, this is the best pizza that I have had in Germany. Ingredients are very fresh and I love the soft crust that they use.

The ambiance was very nice, however, despite having a reservation, we had to wait a while at the entrance – it was quite crowded there due to other waiting guests. The restaurant seemed a bit overwhelmed by the number of guests and additional orders. I had ordered the spaghetti carbonara and unfortunately had to send it back after two bites. It was very tasteless, there was cream in the sauce, the egg was curdled and lumpy, and the bacon was very soft and not crispy. My friend's pinsa, on the other hand, was delicious. Unfortunately, a disappointment. My recommendation: avoid pasta dishes and bring some patience.

The tables are far too close together. People eat in shifts, resulting in a high noise level. Conversation is virtually impossible. I won't comment on the food because, given the circumstances, it completely ruins the experience. What a shame. We'll never go there again.

The pizza, especially the dough, was very tasty – I had the combination of pizza base and pasta. Unfortunately, I wasn't properly informed that different pasta dishes would incur a huge surcharge. This negatively impacted my otherwise positive experience, as I ended up paying €23 for my combination and an extra €2.50 for a tiny bowl of Parmesan cheese. This is particularly concerning given the service. No proper explanation was given, and the staff seemed disinterested, even on an evening when the restaurant was only 40-50% full. It's a shame that the food suffered so much due to poor communication and low service quality.

I’ve been to this restaurant several times, and the food is always excellent. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and it’s one of my favorite spots to bring my family. Unfortunately, the service from one particular staff member has been consistently disappointing. I’ve been served by her three times now, and each experience has been unpleasant. Her attitude comes across as rude and dismissive, which really takes away from an otherwise great dining experience. At first, I thought it might have just been a bad day, but I’ve since heard similar feedback from other American families who also felt the same way about her service. It’s unfortunate because the kitchen and the rest of the team are doing everything right. I don’t enjoy leaving negative feedback, but I think it’s important to point this out. The food deserves five stars, but service like this can easily ruin the visit. I truly hope management addresses it because this restaurant deserves better representation.

We haven't eaten at Pomodorino in a while and were surprised at how well they can reinvent Italian food. The menu had many new dishes, including the hyped pasta bowl. The food was once again truly delicious. The service was very attentive. We wanted to order two small side salads, and the friendly waitress proactively pointed out that we should order a large salad. Top-notch service!

We often like to order pizza or pasta in the evening. And we did again tonight. The pizza (spinaci) was large, crispy, hot, and generously topped – a delight. The tagliatelle verdure with lots of vegetables and a delicious sauce. In short: We won't order anywhere else.

We had reserved a table for three. The cocktail happy hour was so appealing to us that we ordered three frozen cocktails, as well as pasta, a chicken salad, and an appetizer plate. Unfortunately, after !!!! an hour!!!! we were still hungry and, in the almost 30-degree heat, still thirsty. Since everyone around us who arrived after us was already eating, we thought we'd been forgotten. But we were told that the cocktails were still coming. After another 10 minutes, no drinks or snacks arrived, and the waiter explained to us that the food wouldn't arrive until the drinks were sold out. We asked the server to cancel the cocktails and wanted other drinks so we could eat. The drinks then arrived 5 minutes later, two of them: a cocktail, a soda, and the food. But we were pretty sure two cocktails contained alcohol, so we left one. A no-go, especially for pregnant women or alcoholics!!!! The pasta was good, but the starter plate was very poorly presented, with lots of sausage and no side dish. The chicken salad didn't live up to its 15.50 price tag, but was more like a slightly larger side salad. It's a shame; we were more than disappointed, even though they gave us free cocktails.

Unfortunately, the ambiance didn't match the food, and especially the service. The young ladies were unfamiliar with friendliness and politeness, and their arrogance couldn't have been more arrogant. It's a shame, as I have fond memories of this restaurant from the past. The food (black spaghetti) was okay, but not a taste sensation. The spaghetti in pizza bread was beyond outrageous for the price and size. A real shame and more than disappointing.

The noodles were hard. The sauce was just water. The staff was very unfriendly! Especially the woman with the Botox lips and black hair. She was very unfriendly and gave you dirty looks if you asked questions or just wanted to look at the menu for a moment longer. The prices were ridiculous.

The food was very good, but unfortunately we had to wait about 1.5 hours for our food. The aioli dip for my pizza had been waiting for me for about an hour, and I was already tempted to just drink it all. When I arrived, there was a glass at each seat. At first, I thought I'd get a carafe of tap water for the table, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Since I ordered a wheat beer, my glass was cleared away. Then I ordered a Coke, but it only came in a carafe without a glass. But I didn't care anymore, I just drank from the carafe. Guess it wasn't the right evening today, otherwise I've always been very satisfied. But for tonight, the prices were definitely unreasonable. Greetings, I'll definitely give it another chance, but today was unfortunately rather poor.

Exceptional Italian restaurant with heart! Impressive food selection – fast and friendly service – anytime again...

I knew about the hype surrounding this place. I'd heard a lot of positive things. Now it was time to try it out. I ordered Pizza Diavolo, which I was able to pick up on time. I was surprised when I opened the box. The pizza was well-stocked with salami, pepperoni (no criticism of that), and lots of cheese. It looked like it was thickly topped with cheese. Then there was the VERY thin crust, not crispy, almost like paper. Or as they say in Bavaria - lätschert. Well, not my taste, I don't recommend it. I was totally disappointed. But everyone has different tastes.

The best pizza in Weiden and the surrounding area! If you like authentic Neapolitan pizza, this is the place for you: fresh ingredients and incredibly juicy flavors. I highly recommend this restaurant, but since it gets very busy, I recommend making a reservation in advance.

With us you can also eat well nearby, but the Pomodorino is still an experience. We drive almost 50 kilometers and 40 minutes there, but it's worth it. I love not only the taste, but also the creativity. Follow them on Instagram and you'll know what I mean ☺️. The service is also nice. Matheo (I hope spelled correctly) is so wonderfully honest. I envy everyone who lives in Weiden☺️ Unfortunately, we can't go there that often, because the cost of gas plus food is still an expensive trip for us.😅

We were here for the first time. We liked it very much. The food was very tasty. We had two different pizzas and a dessert. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We parked right in front of the door for free.

Food very good. But that was it. Wine spritzers are only available in 0.5 liter sizes, only one glass is not possible. The place is extremely crowded and warm and so loud that you can hardly understand your own words. The three of us at a mini table in the corner despite a reservation. As soon as you have swallowed your food, the dessert menu comes, then you ask if you want to drink, if you say no, then you ask if you have to pay. When you ask if we can finish the drink, the very unfriendly waitress looks annoyed at the clock in our presence and collects the money. The pizza box is priced at 0.70 cents if you want to take the leftover piece with you. Absolutely outrageous and not recommended if you want to go out for a relaxed meal. What counts here is sales, sales, sales :-( .

Since the food, whether pizza or pasta, was always delicious, we often ordered here for band rehearsals. Recently, however, the quality has been declining somewhat. Sometimes the dish is oversalted, sometimes it is completely lacking. The last time we ordered, the portions were so small that our three dishes could have been made into one. I hope they work on it a bit, because I don't want to miss this fine food.

The pizza is without a doubt one of the **Top 3** I've ever eaten! The dough is perfectly crispy, the ingredients are fresh and everything tastes together at the highest level. You immediately notice the high quality and care taken in the preparation. The **salad** was also outstanding – the dressing was especially fantastic! It was light, flavorful and went perfectly with the fresh salad. The salad alone is a reason to keep coming back. Clear recommendation!

Pomodorino: A culinary adventure with ups and downs On our first visit to Pomodorino, the pizza was like a good friend – reliable, but not necessarily the star of the party. The taste was good, but not enough to make you jump for joy. 🍕 On the second visit I was greeted by a huge portion of pasta with cream cheese sauce that was so delicious I almost wanted to jump into the pot. Unfortunately, the portion was so large that I felt like an overfilled suitcase before a vacation. 🧳 The atmosphere at Pomodorino is excellent – ​​almost like a short vacation in Italy, only without the jet lag. The pasta was beautifully served in small pots, pleasing to the eye and making the heart beat faster. 🌟 In terms of price, the Pomodorino is a little above average, but hey, quality comes at a price, right? Outdoor seating is available, perfect for sunny days. ☀️ A small downer: When the restaurant is full, the acoustics are so loud that you feel like you're sitting in a rock concert. 🎸 But the friendly staff makes up for it.
