Very cosy restaurant in the centre of Bonn. Food is delicious . Prices are reasonable . I loved it.

The cashier was initially helpful. However, when we asked for a sauce separately instead of directly on the burger, he refused and didn't give us the sauce at all. We also asked for more than one napkin, since there were two of us eating fries and a burger, but this was also refused. The fries were also overcooked. Unfortunately, the unfriendly attitude ultimately made the atmosphere noticeably unpleasant.

Me and my family were in Bonn on a holiday! We stumbled upon this place on a walk and we are so happy we stopped! We was drawn to it by the atmosphere and seen it seemed popular with the locals! The gentleman was a delight was was polite and friendly and an amazing cook! Thank you very much Sir! :) the food was perfect and the portions were an amazing size!

An absolute friendliness to greet us and ask about our wishes :-)!! We had the special menu, a burger with fries. The fries were excellent, and the burger was very different in appearance and content from the daily special. My quiet inquiry as to whether the patty was intentionally sour was dismissed. Our concerns about possible side effects outweighed them, and the rest ended up in the trash, unfortunately.

I've been searching for a truly great burger spot in Bonn, and I've finally found it! This place is fantastic. The burger was incredibly juicy and flavorful, and the fries were absolute perfection – crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and seasoned just right. The service was quick and the staff were super friendly. It’s the perfect spot for a delicious and satisfying meal. I noticed they also serve pizza and spaghetti, which I tried also few times. If you want a no-fuss, high-quality meal, this is your place. Highly recommend!

Best burger place in all of Bonn

The food took a very long time to arrive, even though we were the only three customers. One server just sat around, chatting and eating. The atmosphere was unclean, and the condiments and menus were very worn and dirty. One of the burgers arrived incorrectly (beef instead of chicken), but we received a free drink as an apology. Unfortunately, the food tasted very disappointing. The sauces tasted artificial and industrial. The avocado on the burger was bland, brown, and mushy. The burger buns were untoasted. The fries were rock-hard, and last but not least, the entire meal was cold.

We went to "Pomm Fritz" last night and were thrilled again. The fries are simply delicious – with or without toppings. My favorite fries are the ones with guacamole, chopped tomatoes, and sour cream. We also really like the ambiance. The seating is nice both inside and outside. The service is also very friendly. We highly recommend "Pomm Fritz" and always come here when we're in Bonn.

Simply delicious! The burger was really big and completely filled me up. The fries were perfect – nice and crispy – and a real treat with the mushrooms. Definitely recommend it!

Completely overwhelmed even with the terrace half full. Endless waits, and then, when I asked when the food – mind you, 'fast' food – would finally arrive, the staff was even more unfriendly: one of the three employees just sat there for a long time, drinking something himself instead of serving. Then to say, 'You can see it's busy, and there are only three of us' is simply inappropriate. The table still hasn't been cleared since we arrived – let alone wiped. I wish we hadn't come here. This is our first and last time here. Wait time up to this point: 44 minutes. And there's no sign of food anywhere, and when I asked if it was being prepared, I got 'no idea' – from the person preparing it. Update: HALF the food is ready 50 minutes after ordering. The rest is still missing an hour later. The Bariloche salad – okay – is bathed in industrial yogurt sauce. Iceberg leaves, only partially sliced ​​feta from a can - that gets one star. No bread with it. The burger of the day was okay, but according to my son, it wasn't good. The fries with nuggets still weren't there after 60 minutes - and the matcha latte was still missing, so we demanded a refund. The chicken salad also had industrial salad dressing and wasn't good. At least the lettuce leaves weren't brown. The leftovers from the chairman are still here - an hour later. But they returned our money without any problems.

Personally, I can't understand the rather bad reviews. I was there a little later in the evening. When I ordered, the super nice waitress told me that she didn't want to offer me the currywurst I wanted anymore because it had been on the grill for too long. He could have solved the problem in a more “business-minded” way, but in a more customer-unfriendly way. I thought it was great. I then took fries with pulled chicken and it cost 11 euros including a drink. I thought it was okay. And the food was delicious - it's not a gourmet restaurant, but a very good chip shop with some original variations. I sat outside - this shop can't do anything for the corner ;-) In any case, I was very satisfied and will be back!

I have to change my review again. I was there for the first time shortly after it opened, before the coronavirus pandemic, and I was really impressed. Now I'm back after a long time and I'm disappointed. The restaurant no longer feels inviting; it's overstuffed and dirty. The fries are dripping with grease and have no flavor. The burger is dry. The owner is very friendly and took plenty of time to chat with each guest (it wasn't busy), but that doesn't make up for the poor food. The confusing menu (a huge selection, like a bad delivery service) should have given that away.

I was on a business trip in Bonn and happened to walk by in the evening and stopped in for a burger and fries. Both were very tasty. Also very friendly operator.

We tried Penne with Neapolitan sauce, 4 cheese pizza and two types of burgers. They were all delicious. The cook alone prepares the food quickly and deliciously with great skill. No pork products and no alcohol. Toilets are clean.

Food: I found the fries quite tasty. The burger went like this, I wasn't really impressed. I found the icing on the cake was €1 for the ketchup. The margin here certainly cannot be beaten. Although this may be common practice, the restaurant could gain points here. There are burger shops that offer 1-2 sauces for free with the fries. Service: At least the food is brought to the table, which is no longer the case in many burger shops. Order at the counter, which I had to ask as a first-time visitor. Ambience: A burger joint, right on the street. Average. Summary: Given the prices, I only eat burgers where I know I'll be impressed. Unfortunately that wasn't the case here.

Overall we didn't feel comfortable. The food was served on disposable dishes, the cleanliness was not maintained, the food was not properly stored in a refrigerator. Very tough chicken meat was used in the Hawaii Burger. The employee was friendly and gave our children some fries to try.

The best burgers I know in the area. They are made with love and you can taste it. They have everything a real burger needs. Lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, pickles and sauces as a base. Simply perfect. Juicy and full-bodied. And the price is also very affordable. Always my pleasure

We were there last week. The worst fries of my life.

“meh” sums it up well. I was there a few years ago and remembered it much better. Had the fries with chili con carne on the menu today. The €10.90 is good for the portion size, but the taste was only mediocre at best. The chili was only warmed to lukewarm, the fries below average. Not worth it.

Everything is perfectly beautiful and delicious. I think Bonn is the classiest place and has an extremely warm atmosphere.

Probably the worst currywurst in Germany. One star just because you can't distribute less. In the evening we wanted a currywurst and I ordered a single one and two double ones with fries to take away. We wanted to enjoy this with a beer 200m away. The fries... I don't know... fried three times already? Between hard and limp. And the sausage was on the grill for clearly hours and they tried to warm it up a bit. The result was a hard, whatever (sausage couldn't be said anymore) surrounded by coal. Not even a dog would have eaten it. It's an impertinence to quickly sell something that is no longer sellable. So he just says that it will take a while or that there is nothing left. Something like that doesn't work at all. And I was able to spend a good 20 EUR on it. I could have thrown it away straight away. More and more often people are being served ashes in restaurants, they are becoming more and more expensive and since there are limits to this, quality has recently been cut. So a lot of money for little, but this was the crowning achievement of all.

Great experience! Large portions, delicious food, lots of choice (a little confusing)! Very nice service! I would rather go to a store like this that is still REAL than to well-known chains (which have also opened in Bonn). Summary: clear recommendation that deserves to be visited!

This place has a good range of fast food type options, everything with chips of course! I have currywurst which was delicious and a good portion. The prices are very reasonable. The food is served so that it could be takeaway but there is also a good number of tables and chairs to sit comfortably indoors.

We went for a walk and were looking for delicious fries. We were not disappointed at Pommfritz. The fries were mega delicious. The pullet pork was tender and tasty. The currywurst wasn't our cup of tea, but the curry sauce was great. The portions were large

Fleich nicht durch! Komischer Geschmack. Einer von zwei Burger landete im Müll! PREISE NICHT WIE AUF KARTE! Nicht nochmal.

Die Fritten waren einfach nicht gut, haben geschmeckt wie aufgewärmt und waren labberig. Für einen Pommes Spezialisten schwach.

Der Wirt ist unfreundlich und diskutiert gerne mal rum ,wenn Ihm etwas nicht passt. Das Essen ging so einmal Probiert, muss nicht nochmal sein.

Wirt sehr unmotiviert und nicht besonders freundlich, bekommt kein Wort raus. Leider wurde mir das falsche Gericht zubereitet. Nachdem es beanstandet wurde, meinte der Wirt mit mir diskutieren zu müssen, das er es doch richtig verstanden hätte, dabei haben wir alle (waren zu dritt) genau das selbe verstanden, nur der Wirt anscheinend nicht. Einmal und nie wieder!

Widerlich. Ich war heute mit meiner Freundin dort, sie hatte Fritz Landliebe und ich hatte Chicken Teryiaki. Die Pommes waren schon durchnässt mit Fett und Wasser und dementsprechend labbrig. Die Soßen waren sehr penetrant und ungenießbar. Haben es nach zwei Bissen liegen lassen. Überhaupt nicht zu empfehlen. Und dann 20 Euro dafür.

Pommes waren unglaublich lecker

Sehr leckere Burger zum guten Preis. Zahlung mit Karte war möglich und die Bedienung war sehr nett. Gerne wieder.

Die Pommes waren genial. Richtig richtig gut. Der Burger war eher nicht so toll. Wäre gut, wenn man sich eine andere Sauce aussuchen könnte (ich fand die normale Sauce nicht so toll). Außerdem fällt der Burger sehr leicht auseinander und ist deswegen etwas schwierig zu essen.

Bei den "Pommes" handelt es sich um ungeschälte, ungewürzte, frittierte Kartoffeln. Das muss man wissen und mögen. Die Portionen sind sehr klein - vor allem für den Preis. Die Burger sind okay, aber nicht hochwertig genug für den Preis (Fleisch wirkt billig, Soßen sind Standard, sparsam belegt). Da lohnt es sich wirklich ein paar m weiter zum hochwertigen Bürgerriesen zu gehen. Unsere Bestellungen (wir waren 10 Personen) waren fast alle falsch zusammengestellt/vorbereitet. Innen ist es wirklich schön, aber man sitzt praktisch in der Küche, Fett liegt in der Luft. Draußen sitzt man an der vielbefahrenen Straße.

Super leckeres Essen, preiswert. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend was die Extra Wünsche angeht.

Salads were ok. Definitely had too much vinegar in it. But the owner was really unfriendly. I asked him politely if we get cash back from the recycling bottles and he got mad at me immediately. Instead of kindly explaining that there is no cashback, he got really snappy at me and even insulted me. You shouldn't treat your costumers like this. Edit: Owner didn't want to make this review public, even it's not the only complaint about his behavior. I will appeal, cause we have a right to talk about our experience.

Ich habe noch nie so leckere Pommes mit Champignon-Rahmsoße gegessen. Dieser Laden wurde mir empfohlen und ich würde ihn auch weiterempfehlen.

Kann ich leider auch nicht empfehlen. Ich habe relativ lange auf einen Burger und normale Pommes gewartet, einige Personen, die nach mir kamen, haben ihre Bestellung vor mir bekommen (und der Laden war auch nicht voll). Der Beste Laden für einen Snack zwischendurch. Gutes Produkt und leckere Zutaten 👍. Die Portionen sind sehr großzügig und machen super satt. Gut gegessen, kann man von hier aus die Stadt erkunden oder ins Nachtleben von Bonn Starten. Gerne wieder 🤗.

Pommes waren okay. Burger kann ich nicht empfehlen. Leider war der Laden auch relativ dreckig. Die Tische haben geklebt, der Salzstreuer, der Boden... Einfach alles. Toilette kann ich auch nicht empfehlen. Personal total unfreundlich und leider auch völlig überfordert und der Laden war nicht voll! Alles im allen. Geht woanders hin!

Les frites étaient bonnes, mais pas extrêmement bonnes. Le Veggieburger était extrêmement bon, mais peu pratique a manger à cause de la sauce. Les serveurs étaient très gentils.

Pommes neu erleben? Jau, hier!!! Ein absoluter Hochgenuss, den ich da heute erleben durfte. Es gibt Pommes und es gibt PommFritz 👌 Ich bin begeistert und kann nur sagen "Weiter so". Schade, dass wir das an der Nordseeküste in dieser Form nicht haben. Wollten eigentlich nur die Kirschblüte in der Altstadt erleben und dann diese Überraschung.

Die Burger sind der Hammer genau mein Ding keine Tk Ware wie bei den anderen in Bonn ich komme wieder !!!!

Erst die falsche Bestellung gebracht, dann wurde der Besitzer auch noch frech und ausfallend, ihr solltet mal lernen euch zu benehmen! Zum Glück bin ich nicht so niveaulos wie ihr, andernfalls würde es anders enden.

Ein ganz schlimmer Laden. Der Besitzer ist unverschämt.
