Pommes Freunde in Regensburg

I expect a little more from a "FRIENDLY FRIENDS is a premium fast food concept".... More in terms of taste... and above all, more in terms of cleanliness. The price/performance ratio for 2 burgers + fries is a bit exaggerated at almost €40. ...will remain a one-off visit.

The ambience is pleasant, but the music is quite loud. Both ordering terminals were broken, but ordering at the counter went smoothly. Now about the food: We waited almost 20 minutes for two burgers including fries, but we were almost the only customers. Everything was only lukewarm, and both the cheese and the patty were slightly burnt. Although the burgers are advertised as having cheese, it was clearly too much for us. The meat, bacon and other toppings were completely lost in taste. The sauces, some of which were also defective, are fine, but you won't find ordinary mayonnaise. Here it seems as if they are trying to reinvent the wheel. We also found the prices to be quite reasonable in relation to the portion size. Overall, it seems as if the employees are having difficulties with their processes. Half-finished food is left lying around for too long before it goes out to the customers, used tables don't seem to be wiped down at all or only very late. If a few more customers are added, the employees sometimes seem a bit overwhelmed.

They were very tasty fries. I can only recommend the bratwurst, but unfortunately there were long waiting times 🙁

Currywurst with fries ordered to take away. Currywurst not freshly grilled, already had thick, hard skin, lukewarm. Some of the fries were not fully fried. Generally far too small a portion for an exorbitant price of 9,-

Eating took exactly 25 minutes and it wasn't the first time for the cheeseburger and fries, so I wanted to try it again to see if it had gotten better, but unfortunately not, the waiting times were extreme even though there was almost nothing going on

We were in the store yesterday with my daughter. And we were really happy. We placed our order at the terminal, there was a lot going on, but the customers who were sitting had already eaten. There were 4 employees behind the counter and all 4 were working, but our order still took a really long time. I had the feeling that the employees were getting in each other's way instead of working with each other. I worked for a fast food chain myself for years and so I know if you don't work in a structured manner it will be quite difficult. But okay, then our order was ready. We had a burger menu with guacamole and thin fries and the second was currywurst separately thin fries chili cheese, the mayo at the sauce counter was empty, the fries were thick, when I asked I was simply told yes we don't have any thin fries, Firstly, you can sell this better and you can note it right at the beginning or import it into the terminal, it's not rocket science. The burger was very good, but the currywurst was sliced ​​too thin; it wasn't even half the thickness of a normal currywurst. It's a shame, but I like the French fries friends and will continue to go there, although there are a lot of things that need to be improved in the store.

Fries are good but 6 euros for this amount is just not ok, too expensive. Had to wait a bit despite it being not crowded there and atmosphere with music playing there was meh. Wouldn't go eat there again.

The currywurst was so bad that I couldn't eat it all. The fries weren't crispy and could have stayed in the fryer a little longer. In terms of taste, the fries were also below average. The loaded fries weren't good either. The service wasn't particularly friendly but not rude either. The tables aren't clean and in general everything happens too slowly and the team doesn't seem to know that it doesn't fit. Next time I'll go to McDonald's, I can get something better and faster for less money.

Considering that the shop is called “French fries” friends, the fries are quite unspectacular and don’t stand out from McD and co. away. The burger is only slightly better than other fast food chains, but it also has a very thin patty, maybe twice as much is better... But the highlight here are the sauces. You can have as much of as many sauces as you like and this one Belgian herb mayo in particular was fantastic. Atmosphere itself is quite good, but music is played here via Spotify lite... A relatively established chain that can't afford Spotify Premium, where you have to listen every 5 minutes that Spotify Premium is better and you should get it ?? seriously? 😂

Ate here today. Some of the fries were still half raw. Burger was very good. It's almost impossible to rate the service because there is none. I wanted to order something again, but it was ignored at all. The employee preferred to busy himself with his cell phone. Conclusion: not again.

Unfortunately, I can only agree with the bad reviews. We really enjoy eating at Fries Freunde Erlangen Nuremberg Fürth, highly recommended, but here in Regensburg there are a lot of things going wrong. Burger bread served ice cold and the meat dried out is just disastrous. Of course, for the price, we expect that to be the case. We definitely won't eat here again.

Had dinner here today. In my stress, I was accidentally given the wrong order. After briefly pointing this out, the nice gentleman made me a new one, at no extra charge and brought straight to the table. Great service :) gladly again.

I've always enjoyed eating here so far. But last week I had a very disappointing experience. It started with the order: although I wanted to buy my husband the meal, initially everyone just looked at him and ignored me. Since he didn't say anything, the employee had to talk to me (obviously reluctantly). I don't speak any dialect - that's foreshadowed. And I wanted a cottage burger with jalapenos. The man at the checkout asked at least 5 times. Of course I got it without it. When I complained about this during delivery, I was met with incomprehension. I would have ordered the burger without jalapenos. But there aren't any on there by default! Then why should I specifically say that I don't want one? That doesn't make any sense at all! Then I ordered a large portion of fries with it. I got a small one. I complained about that too. Then what felt like 3 fries were added in the same small box. Please train your staff to have at least basic German skills in connection with orders. But that wasn't all: I've never seen the place as dirty as this time. I had to use 4 wet wipes so we could use the table. And usually the burgers are really good. But this time I asked myself why the bun lid was already dripping with grease. The whole burger was so greasy that everything was dripping. And this time it left a lot to be desired in terms of taste. That was definitely our last visit there for a long time! We will still try the DEZ. Hopefully it's better there.

I had to wait 10 minutes for a simple fries while the boss had a long chat with his employees. When I commented that it took a long time, he said it was just the fries that took so long. Clearly no customer orientation and the feeling remains that the customer is just a nuisance. Certainly not a recommendation!!

Were there for the first time to try the thin fries. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The fries were very soft and not crispy. Even tastes worse than the fries at McD. For just under €5/portion and the promises on the billboards, I would have expected a better quality product. Won't go there anymore.

Ambience was cozy and pleasant. Staff friendly and helpful. BUT. The food didn't work at all. Temperature was lukewarm to cold, taste was ok, but I know restaurants that make better fries and also much better hot dogs.

That was bad. Waited forever, then a mini portion of fries without salt. When I asked, I was given salt. The ultra-slow employee also rolled her eyes behind my back. Because I asked for salt. About 15-20 minutes of waiting for so few fries. And expensive. Barbecue sauce almost empty, then suddenly uncontrolled discharge from the dispenser directly onto my pants. Never again!

Yesterday was supposed to be my second visit to Friesfreunde in Regensburg. The stars are for the first visit in December. Yesterday at around 5:45 p.m. we ordered 2 double curry sausages with fries and 1 cola at the terminal and paid with a card. Some customers were ahead of us. After 10 minutes I checked and there were actually 2 x currywurst, still without sauce, that were being served and had not been taken into account. After another 5 minutes my number was called and I was told that unfortunately the curry sauce was out and it wasn't possible to wait because no more curry sauce was being made today. I would have been offered ketchup or BBQ sauce to go with the cold sausage and fries that had been standing there for 5 minutes, but I didn't want that. The lady, who was very friendly, told me that the next time I order at the checkout, I will get this information right away. But that can't be what the chain wants to use the cash register instead of the terminal. My receipt has been photographed and I'm curious to see whether I'll get my money back in the promised 3 days. In addition to the curry sauce, the cola was also out, but that wouldn't have bothered me because the selection of drinks is large. Perhaps you should consider activating "currently not available" in the terminal for items that are not available. This also works great at MCD, which would save a lot of trouble, both for the customers and the employees who have to deal with this trouble. In addition, on both visits it seemed to me as if the staff were too few and/or overwhelmed.

Cold curry sausage, unfinished fries, long waiting time!!

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the service today. I was eating with my son. He got his food first. When I asked where my Coke was, I was told just take the drink yourself and when I was at my seat I noticed that my food was too was missing because they told me that there was a lot going on at the moment and they were sorry and they made me a currywurst but then I realized that I had paid for the extra currywurst plus 2 euros and just got a normal one. But I really didn't feel like going there again, so unfortunately I can't come to you anymore as I'd rather go somewhere else to eat with my son and definitely cheaper than almost 30 euros for two

The meal took 20 minutes, so half the break was over for a currywurst with fries. The currywurst was fresh, the fries were cold… The ambience was clean but the music was too loud to entertain. There are lots of sauces to try out which is great. But in my opinion it doesn’t deserve the name “French fries” friends. The employees tried hard.

Was here with my daughter. She had a BBQ burger with fries and a drink. Totally overpriced...almost €15! Taste was ok but not worth the price. I did not order anything. Call me stuffy, but the floor, tables and chairs are so dirty and disgusting that I didn't want anything. I asked an employee if he could please clean something up. The bench, table and chair were roughly wiped down and it was still not pleasant. The male employee was playing with his cell phone behind the counter while the two women were at work. I've never seen so much dirt in a mall restaurant. Saturday evening 7:30 p.m.

Completely overpriced. A tiny portion of fries with sauce and other little extras costs almost 7 euros. For the price you get twice as much at other chip shops. Additionally, one of the employees seemed overworked and may have forgotten to change his gloves properly (cross-contamination).

The first impression if you don't know the chain is "it looks great and your menu is really tasty". I ordered the “New York Hot Dog style”. My wife got the “Curry Sausage Classic” I have my hot dog after about 15 minutes. Got it and it was completely overpriced at €7. It was just a cheap thin white bread with a thick bratwurst with a bit of sauce 3 thin slices of cucumbers not homemade fried onions. If I were to do it myself I would estimate the purchase price to be around €1.50. It's completely overpriced. My wife waited 30 minutes for her food even though the store wasn't full. In my opinion, the store's initial good appearance is deceptive behind expensive food, which I believe is overrated. Even in the conversations at the table next door you can hear that they won't be coming back. I tried it and was satisfied and won't come back again.

Price performance ratio is not right at all. Fries taste like the cheap ones from the frozen department. Currywurst wasn't anything special either.

In my experience one of the best places to come and eat something that is good and not small like McDonald's.

They touch raw meat, and prepare your sandwich wearing the same gloves! They did not change gloves after working with the raw mean! This imposes a major health concern, in my opinion; so, I explained that to the cook, and that it is always better that she changes her gloves, when she touches raw meat; in fact, she was touching raw burger meat and even raw bacon with the same gloves, which she used to pack the food. My first obvious question was whether the bacon are pork or beef bacon (because pork bacon imposes even a higher health concern, when raw, because of the trichinosis parasite.) From here, the conversation went in a different direction than expected: they sought that I have issues with the Halal and Haram kinds of food; and whenever I tried to explain my main concern, they bounced back to the Halal and Haram thing! I was speaking in English then I switched to German, to clarify my point, because they might have a problem understanding English! They insisted on the Halal and Haram thing, then at the end, one of the cooks explained that they only change gloves when switching compartments (from the Vegan compartment to the meat compartment), but not when preparing food in the same compartment; I hope she is not the manager, because if so, this is not the way how things should be managed! I was completely dissatisfied; I asked her to pack my food to-go, then I threw the food after leaving and I will never get back again to this disgusting place! Essen war ok, Preis -Leistung dafür nicht. Bedienung ändert lieber am Handy die Musik damit man weiter tanzen kann, Anstatt sich um die wartende Kundschaft zu kümmern. Das war schon bisschen schwach und gehört dort nicht hin.

Sehr nette Kassiererin. Gutes Konzept. Sehr gute Musik. Burger: frisch und sehr lecker. Chicken Burger: ebenso. Für beide Burger Daumen hoch. Die helal Wurst: Currywurst und Hotdog. Ohje ohje eine reine Katastrophe. Soßen aber sehr lecker. Alle soßen sehr lecker. ABER!!! Ihr wirbt mit eurem Namen mit "Pommes" , das war wir bekommen haben war weit davon entfernt. Da geht's mir nicht mal um die TK ware! Sondern eure Köche haben es verbockt. Letschert, eiskalt, fettig und ohne Salz. Wir haben es hingenommen, weil beschweren und warten mit zwei Kindern wir nicht länger warten wollten. Und.....eure Cola kann wirklich Kälter sein auch im Winter.

NAJA. Pommes waren in Ordnung aber mehr auch nicht. Viiiiiel Viiiiel zu teuer !! Hatte Guacamole und sour cream, das war nicht so besonders . Empfehlen kann ich das nicht. Personal war sehr freundlich.

Athmosphäre typisch für Pommesbude in einem Einkaufszentrum. Service sehr nett und bemüht. Essen ist im Endeffekt überteuert (insbesondere in Anbetracht der Portionsgröße) und nichts Besonderes, zwei Sterne nur für die (gute) Soßenvielfalt. Veggie-Currywurst mit Pommes (siehe Foto) und 0.33 l Cola für 11,10 € 👎

Das vegane Burger Paddy ist ganz ok. Der Rest am Burger ist billiges Fastfood. Daher viel zu teuer.

Currywurst / Pommes für unterwegs. Teuer aber wirklich schmackhaft, trotz viel zu wenig Currysoße. Dazu noch ohne Pikser oder Gabel und auch Serviette fehlte. Also essen mit den Fingern und Tempo für die Finger nutzen.

Lange Wartezeiten, Pommes geschmacklich mittelmäßig, schmecken nach altem Fett. 4,50- 5€ für eine normale Schale Pommes finde ich teuer.

Einfach mal die Reihe aller food provider entlanggehen... echte Pommes aus echten Kartoffeln! Da wird der Burger zur Beilage.

Schneller und netter Service am counter. Leider war das Bürgerbrötchen nur lauwarm und die Pommes fast schon kalt. Ich hatte den crispy plant based Burger.

Hier gibt es die besten Pommes in der Stadt Regensburg. Ebenso lecker sind die Burger und die Currywürste. Es gibt zeei verschiedene Sorten, die Original Berliner Currywurst (Bratwurst) und die "Rote", die üblicherweise in unsere Region serviert wird. Man kann auch wählen zwischen dicken und dünnen Pommes. Beide sind sehr lecker. Alle Gerichte sind auch zum Mitnehmen. Aber der Verzehr vor Ort ist zu bevorzugen weil alles frisch zubereitet wird. Hier habe ich das erste Mal wirklich heisse, knusprige Pommrs gegessen. Ausserdem gibt es eine "Sossenbar". Man kann sich hier bedienen, so oft man will natürlich kostenlos, und es ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Kann ich nur jedem Pommesfreund empfehlen.

Vor dem Geschäft war eine Gruppe Jugendlicher, die in den Laden Müll geworfen und Getränke mit den Personen reingeschubst haben. Keine Reaktion durch den Mitarbeiter. Zwei Kolleginnen??? / Bekannte??? gehen Privat und in Straßenkleidung in die Küche. Eine Kollegin bereitet sich auch, privat und in Straßenkleidung, Essen hinter der Theke zu. Haare dabei offen. Gibt sich durch die Haare und dann an die Lebensmittel.

Currywurst sehr klein und mit knappen 10€ im Menü zu teuer. Wenn man nach dem Essen satt werden will lieber einen Burger oder den Hotdog nehmen.

Haut einen geschmacklich nicht unbedingt von den Socken, ist aber bei Pommes-Gerichten auch nicht anders zu erwarten. Der Schärfegrad der Chili-Cheese-Pommes liegt im mittleren Bereich, ist also für jeden erträglich. An einem Montag war es bei mir um die Mittagszeit nicht besonders voll, es gab genug freie Sitzplätze.

Schönes Ambiente, Pommes ok, Zitronen-Erfrischungstuch für die Hände wir gegeben, das ist sehr gut, Preis ok, Currywurst aber zu klein und geschmacklich nichts Besonderes

Die Pommes waren mir zu weich, ich hätte erwartet dass die Pommes richtig schön kross sind.

Schwierig wenn bei dem Namen „ Pommes Freunde“ - die Pommes labbrig sind. 1 Portion normale Pommes und 1 Portion Süsskartoffel Pommes. Die Süsskartoffel Pommes waren noch einen Tick besser, aber die normalen waren leider echt richtig schlecht. Bei dem Namen MUSS das anders sein wie ich finde. Von den Burgern reden wir nicht - muss man bei dem Namen nicht zwingend drauf haben. Typische TK Ware - habe nichts anderes erwartet. Schmelzkäsezubereitung anstatt richtigem Käse. Auf dem Bild ein Burger mit Lollo Biondo Salat in echt ist es Eisbergsalat. Alles in allem ein typischer Lieferservice Burger. Die angeboten Saucen für die Pommes waren echt lecker. Service war nett. Ambiente einem Einkaufszentrum entsprechend.

Ich habe schon öfter hier gegessen. Leider hat im Laufe der Zeit die Qualität schon beträchtlich abgenommen. Sehr schade. Es ist immer noch solides essen, allerdings sind gerade die Pommes nicht mehr mit denen bei der Eröffnung zu vergleichen. Damals waren sie noch wirklich gute Pommes, was man ja auch erwarten kann, wenn man den Namen hört. Dafür warte ich auch gerne Mal länger Nun sind sie gerade einmal so lange im Öl gelassen wie gerade notwendig, da kann ich auch zum Mac nebenan gehen. Hatte gehofft, endlich einen Imbiss gefunden zu haben, der ansatzweise an Belgische oder Niederländische Fritten herankommt...

Das Essen schmeckt überragend und die Preise sind auch noch im Rahmen.

Ein Stern Abzug, da die Burger für diesen Preis Recht klein sind
