Poccino Espresso in Düsseldorf

Very tasty coffee/cappuccino! The food is good, but nothing special. The ambience is simple, and in the summer it's great to sit outside. The many beggars, some of whom come to the table every 5 minutes and ask for change, are a bit annoying.

To be honest, we had higher expectations for the restaurant. The service was friendly, but unfortunately the food didn't really impress us. Somehow that certain something was missing that would have made the visit a special experience. The ambience was a bit plain and unspectacular, but the beautiful view definitely enhanced the whole thing and created a pleasant atmosphere.

Very bad service. Drinks spilled when served and not refilled, wrong food brought, food bad too. When we asked if everything was good, we answered honestly. The waiter then became cheeky.

Unfortunately my visit was a huge disappointment. I actually saw a rat in the restaurant – unbelievable! The staff was extremely unfriendly and didn't respond to complaints at all. At first we were allowed to bring a birthday cake, but afterwards we were suddenly told that this was not allowed. The food was mediocre at best, definitely not worth the money. Never again!!!

As a restaurateur for 40 years, I am not from Düsseldorf. Food is great, thank you very much for the delicious food.

Unfortunately, one star is already too many. An extremely unfriendly service! In 30 degree weather we waited 20 minutes before we could place the drink order after the first order apparently wasn't successful. After another 10 minutes they were there. Impossible. Our little Pomeranian, who sat down next to the table, was apparently also unwanted and was annoyed and pushed under the table. Unfortunately, despite the beautiful location at Kö-Bogen, absolutely not recommended.

I ordered the Chittara. According to the menu, spaghetti with shrimps and zucchini. The dish was so spicy that I couldn't eat it and swapped meals with my husband. There was clearly no indication of the spiciness of the food here. I don't expect spaghetti with shrimp to be a spicy dish. My husband liked them. The pasta with mushrooms and meat ragout tasted good. However, the meat tasted like simple minced meat. The waiter didn't tell us about the daily specials. His colleague at the next table did a much better job.

Nice café in a top location in Düsseldorf

Everything I am coming to Düsseldorf this restaurant with typical and excellent Italian Food is a must. Close to the Hofgarten parc in the center, it has fresh Italian Homepage Food and a very nice Italian service team. Best Italian wines are available and don‘t forget to taste from the selection of desserts!

After few visit to Poccini, it will be my last time visiting this place. Food are okay nothing special, but the Manager of this restaurant should be changed for sure. Last weekend we have ordered an aperol which was tasting nothing but water with mint. Never had such a bad aperol. We asked to change it into wine but manager said that he cannot change it and it will be charged. No apologies, no explanation, no personal contact. He couldnt even come to our table and passed the message through our waitress. We’d have never expected such a bad attitude from the manager at the place like Poccini.

Unfortunately only a very mediocre cappuccino (for 4€), the pasticceria is still good (marzipan pastries).

Unfortunately, this is also a place with would-be professional service and high prices. Guests who supposedly look like money are given unabashed preferential treatment. We wanted to end the lovely evening with a drink in a nice environment. The waitress came to the table countless times in about an hour, interrupted our conversation with silly little things and ultimately drove us away because he wanted to close. I completely understand that at some point it will be the end of the day, but that we had to "exhaust" our drinks and then turn around and see various people sitting there quietly, with half-full glasses and undisturbed, deep in conversation - that's how you get along fooled before! The Hugo was at least good in size, the other cocktail was a joke for the price. More for people like the girls next to us, with poorly made fake Gucci bags and COS bags, who took selfies "on the Kö" than for local residents.

A very unfriendly staff. We had problems with a cake where there were silverfish in the cake and it was neither replaced nor apologized for. Is normal? The public order office should certainly carry out a health check there. We are very disappointed.

Very nice outdoor area. Delicious coffee - but: We had breakfast there for the first time today. Rarely have we had such a carelessly slapped together cheese and ham toast and such a dry, tasteless crostini with mozzarella and ham. The side salad advertised was probably pre-cut lettuce from the bag. The price is outrageously high! So we'll be back for a coffee in the outdoor area at any time. We'll have breakfast somewhere else.

I didn't eat there.. But I thought it was super sweet from the waitress who looked after me earlier (07/23/24 around 11:16 a.m.) when I wanted to open my beetroot juice in front of the promenade, and ground up These "new" hanging lids (idea) got me dirty. I just wanted a (cloth) napkin, and it also comes with a hand disinfectant gel. And he pointed out to me in a cute way that I still had beetroot on the corner of my mouth: "That's not blood?" For such helpfulness, this store deserves a good rating! The employees promote the store, not the boss or owner!

I had the “joy” of visiting this restaurant and trying the breaded veal cutlet. As expected, the experience was unforgettable - but not for good reasons. The chop looked good, smelled okay at first and even tasted passable. Unfortunately, my culinary adventure quickly turned into a health nightmare. A few hours after enjoying this culinary “masterpiece,” I spent the night getting to know my toilet better than I ever wanted to. Yes, food poisoning is really the kind of memory I want from a restaurant visit. If someone is planning to put their immune system to the test or maybe just wants to lose a few pounds, this restaurant could be just the thing. For everyone else who wants to live a normal, healthy life, my advice is to find another place for your dinner. A big compliment to the kitchen - for showing me how much I value my own bed and healthy meals. An experience I will certainly never forget (no matter how hard I try).

1 star is too much. The waiter was very rude. I ordered a piece of ready-made cake at the counter & was supposed to show the waiter the note. After 20 minutes and three attempts to get the waiter's attention, I went in and asked for one finished piece of cake. The young cheeky waiter: I don't understand why you're stressing/dramatizing over a piece of cake. Sorrd very rude & cheeky.

Inedible cake. The worst cake ever eaten. Apart from the fact that I got the wrong cake (cream instead of vanilla cream), the cake was inedible. Old puff pastry, wet, possibly from too much cream. He looked like rubber. Aside from decorating it myself (lack of decoration), it was very sad that it was my birthday. All guests unhappy. Very bad for desserts. No possibility to exchange the cake. It was very bad for them too.

Very disappointing place - 1) no water for espresso dopio, 2) strange and stupid rules about where you have to sit and where not 3) this is not allowed this is not allowed this exception we can not do for you :-)

Last week I was here for coffee on the terrace. I've been here at least 10 times. Today that wasn't possible, only if you wanted to eat. At least 50% of the tables were free. Service was very unfriendly. I can only advise how customers are treated here. Real cheek!!!!!!!! Never again!

We ate pasta here on King's Day. My partner had a pasta with red sauce that was good and different. I ate a pasta Tartufo. And that was a party; awesome! The cook has apparently made every effort. He made the spaghetti perfectly, just al dente. The flavor of the perfectly smooth sauce was full of truffle and a little pecorino or parmesan cheese and even had several freshly grated pieces of truffle half a millimeter thick on top. There was an overly friendly lady with a Northern Italian appearance with glasses and a ponytail who took good care of us. I wasn't actually that hungry, but when I saw, smelled and tasted this, my day couldn't get any worse. Praise to the Tartufo chef. In my case that was certainly close to 1 Michelin star.

We weren't allowed to sit down because we just wanted something to drink. Only orders with food and drinks were allowed there. Other guests, who were obviously dressed expensively, ordered 2 cappuccinos shortly before us. We were then directed to another restaurant (outside only with bar stools at the table). As a pensioner, absolutely nothing to sit on.

Drinks were ok, location nice too. Service, however, is subpar. We had our glasses and cups empty for ages, no one cared, our clothes probably weren't expensive enough. Everyone was served except us. The boss replies succinctly “you can’t order from me” - fine, then don’t stand on the terrace? 😅 never experienced anything like that. Instead of a second drink, I ordered the bill according to the saying.

Pappardelle with funghi with a ready-made bucket quality sauce. Fettuccine for €27.50 is outrageous for this poor quality. The cook should be fired. Espresso Macchiato is like a broth, a laughing stock. How stupid do you think your guests are? You should be ashamed of yourself for selling such a cuisine as Italian. You represent anything but our Italian cuisine and tradition. You should be disposed of. Expensive garbage.

We wanted to have lunch at the Palio restaurant in Düsseldorf. We visit this restaurant about twice a year whenever we come shopping in Dusseldorf. My husband and I each order a typical Italian main course where standard potatoes are always offered. We ask if the potatoes can be replaced with a little pasta. After a few minutes the waiter arrives with the message that the kitchen charges a five euro supplement per dish to replace the potato with spaghetti. I was very surprised. On a dish that already costs €34, I was not prepared to pay a supplement of five euros to replace the potatoes with 80 g of cooked spaghetti. I have therefore canceled this order. In a brief discussion about this with the waiter, I mentioned that I could not give a positive review given this incident. The waiter assured me that the manager did not care at all about the opinions on the internet. I wonder which manager is neither concerned about his customers nor concerned about the reviews. It seems to me that he can now get away with that because of the location of his business. But I don't think it would be appropriate for another business to hire this manager. If he accidentally reads this review, he is welcome to formulate an answer.

Ordered drinks and food, friendly waiter, everything was okay at first, simple pasta dish for 19.50 came almost cold, friendly request for improvement (hot pasta), passive aggressive reaction from the waiter, no apology, 2nd attempt, new pasta, but cold again , then a request for cancellation, then a scandal and a very unpleasant atmosphere, no apology, but after discussion the pasta was taken off the bill, I then paid and left, the mood was in the basement, not a good shop and no recommendation!

Yesterday, Saturday April 7th, 2024, there was really a lot going on. The service staff remained calm and friendly, even if it took us more than 20 minutes to pay. The prices are steep, but the best place is outside, with a view of the countryside. The consumption... well... the sweet delicacies were very good, but the long drinks (Campari Spritz and Negroni) lacked body and expression. There was a lot of stinginess here; little Campari… but a lot of ice cream. PLEASE...You should prepare the drinks as the recipe calls for. Your prices are too high for what you serve. PLEASE!!!

Nice unconventionally furnished coffee shop

I cannot make any recommendations here. Furniture inside uncomfortable, nothing invites you to linger. No WiFi available - and also poor reception in the rooms. Therefore we had no chance to use our internet or cell phone. One of the other guests also constantly went outside to make a phone call because he had no reception inside. In this day and age, for some people it is essential to be available for professional reasons. Unfortunately there were no toilets either. To do this you have to go to the 2nd floor of the building opposite! A “no go”. Especially with this price-performance ratio. In addition, the staff is not really friendly and motivated. The lady at the cake counter was particularly snotty. We don't need something like that - and Düsseldorf certainly doesn't need such a negative figurehead either. We won't be coming back.

Beautiful location right on the Hofgarten, the view is priced into the €11 for the Aperol.

Poccino caffeebar is my favorite coffee. I don't mean the poccino restaurant opposite. Just because of the dark-haired waitress in the caffee, she is Italian, we come by at least four times a week for a cappuccino and a cake. I don't know what the waitress's name is, but her customer friendliness is sensational , she is always quick, super friendly, never in a bad mood even when the last chair is occupied and the coffee is Italian lekker. As I said, my favorite coffee!!!

Unfortunately we can't rate how the food was because we weren't served after 25 minutes. The arrogance of the waiter was only matched by the arrogance of the owner. After we complained, he shrugged his shoulders and offered a table on the ground floor. We politely declined so as not to waste any more valuable time.

Coffee was ok. However, service was a disgrace. I was charged a large bottle of sparkling water for €7.50 because I answered yes when asked if I wanted water with my coffee!? Although there is a free glass of table water with coffee.

We have tried this place for the first time and ordered two Latte Macchiato and one Croissant au chocolate. Unfortunately the Croissant was not good at all as it was so cold, dry and didn't taste like chocolate Croissant at all. No fork and knife were served with it and the Latte Macchiato was Ok.

I just wanted a salat and a wine in a cozy place. Terrible salat, wine was ok and the waiters were rude and arrogant. Don’t have to go there really. Waste of money

Dit is de kleine zaak van de 2 je kan beter aan de overkant eten, want dit deel heeft geen wc. Dan moet je alsnog naar de overkant. De pasta was dit keer beter en ook echt lekker. Ook de bediening was aardig en vlot. Blijft een lekker plekje. Met heerlijke lekkernijen en heerlijk Italiaans eten.

Essen zu teuer, leider konnte die Qualität für uns nicht überzeugen. Der Kellner recht launisch und später angefressen das es nicht mehr Trinkgeld gab. Nächste mal geht es woanders hin, hatten später mehr Genuss auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt.

Immer wieder ein tolles Erlebnis. Hervorragende frische Küche, natürlich italienisch mit viel Abwechslung in den Tagesgerichten. Exzellenter Service von Tiana, Marta, Domenico, Andrea und dem ganzen Team (sorry, hab die Namen gerade nicht alle parat - aber die sind ALLE richtig klasse). Tolle Weinauswahl (der Amarone ist und bleibt unser Lieblingswein) und natürlich die Wahnsinnsauswahl an Süßspeisen und Kuchen. Und wenn es mal schnell gehen muss geht auch immer eins von den superleckeren frisch gerösteten Panini. Da das hier DER Hotspot zwischen Breuninger und Apple ist mit einer tollen Aussicht auf den Park, ist es oft wirklich voll. Da hilft es als Gast nur mit Geduld und Höflichkeit auf den nächsten freien Tisch zu warten - aber das hat sich bisher bei uns i m m e r gelohnt. Und liebe Leser, denkt daran: Das Servicepersonal beseht auch nur aus Menschen, die ihren Job (in diesem Fall wirklich echt gut) machen. Falls es also mal wieder proppenvoll ist hilft nur ein wenig Geduld mitzubringen, denn hier will man schließlich genießen!

Heel onvriendzlijk. Wij waren aan het wachten op een plaats en toen er een tafel vrij jwam, mochten we niet gaan zitten. Zonder vragen riep ze deze mensen gaan eten en jullie enkel koffie drinken. Terwijl ze dat niet wist.

Große Kuchen- und ital. gebäckauswahl. Und schmackhaft ! Sitzplätze teilweise sehr eng. Hatte dazu einen heißen Kakao bestellt. Die gefüllte Tasse sah schön aus, aber der Kakao oder der Milchschaum schmeckte nach Zigarettenrauch. Bei der Bedienung reklamiert. Er meinte, dass er öfter Kakao trinkt und probiert hätte. Er schmecke normal. Meine angenippte Tasse wollte er nicht probieren. Es gab keinen Austausch. Also hab ich den Kuchen trocken gegessen. Und der Kakao blieb natürlich auf der Rechnung. Es wurde auch niemand mehr gefragt , ob es geschmeckt hat. Komischer Umgang mit einer Reklamation. Aber dafür gibt es ja die freie Lokalwahl. Im Kö-Bogen nicht mehr.

We came in spontaneously. Got seated quickly and the waitress was very friendly and thoughtful. The food came on a timely manner and was delicious. Good variety of Italien dishes. Overall a surprisingly amazing dinner spot.

Ganz gute Karte. Auch Kuchen und Sandwich Buffet. Service leider wiederholt unterirdisch. Wir hatten einen Tisch, man wollte uns dort aber genau an dem nicht bedienen. Auch Selbstabholer an der Theke war keine Option. Lieber vergrault man die Kunden mit patzigen Antworten. Besonders mit kleinen Säugling alle Klammotten wieder anziehen und mit Kinderwagen wieder rausnavigieren. #SpassFaktor Lieber eine RestoBar im Umkreis suchen..

Wir haben zwei Tunfischsteaks bestellt aber leider waren diese ungenießbar und sehr zäh! Entweder wurde es falsch zubereitet oder die Qualität war mangelhaft. Die Küche war der Meinung, dass es passieren kann und beide Tunfischsteaks wurden uns berechnet. So eine schwachsinnige Aussage habe ich selten gehört. Werde diesen überteuerten Imbiss zukünftig meiden!!!! Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis passt nicht.

Punto di riferimento se come me, quando si è fuori, non sa rinunciare alla classica colazione italiana. Personale cortese e posto molto carino.

Chef des Ladens ist unhöflich zu Gästen & Personal und man muss lange warten zum Teil bis jemand kommt.Personal könnte netter sein und die Preise für das Essen sind überzogen.Die Atmosphäre wird durch den Chef auch nicht angenehmer.Und dass das Personal nach Umsatz arbeitet merkt man auch,bei dem was einem angedreht wird und dann sind die Servicekräfte noch unhöflich.Das schlimmste ist der Chef bzw. Geschäftsführer der keinen Respekt zeigt und alles egal ist.Und wenn das Essen nicht schmeckt wird man von dem Chef angeschrien,der nicht mal wirklich die deutsche Sprache kann.Mein Tipp es gibt viel bessere italienische Restaurants mit besserem Personal & Essen und einem netten Chef.Aus Nettigkeit gibt es überall einen Stern und das finde ich ist schon sehr großzügig vergeben.

War eine nette entspannte Erfahrung. Immer wieder

Ich durfte gestern Zeuge werden, als eine Kundin sehr freundlich einen Iced Coffee Americano bestellte und dafür 4,70 Euro zahlte. Bereits dies erwies sich als schwierig, da Kartenzahlung nicht akzetpiert wurde, wie ihr eine übellaunige Bedienung mitteilte. Ich staunte nicht schlecht, als ein kleiner Kaffee in einen Pappbecher gekippt wurde und dann ein (!) Eiswürfel dazukam. Die Kundin war ebenfalls nicht begeistert und reklamierte dieses Getränk - in meinen Augen berechtigterweise. Die weibliche Bedienung war ohnehin schon die ganze Zeit abweisend und sah mit den nach unten gezogenen Mundwinkeln nicht besonders freundlich aus, aber der Mann, der den Kaffee "zubereitete" war der Hammer! Drehte sich um wie ein wilder Stier und beschied der Kundin, der Kaffee sei in Ordnung und Geld bekäme sie nicht zurück. Das in einem Tonfall, der - im Gegensatz zum Kaffeegebräu - tatsächlich iced war. Ich habe mir bisher dort meinen Kaffee für unterwegs geholt, aber in Zukunft werde ich davon Abstand nehmen. Nicht nur weil der Preis über Nacht unverschämt erhöht wurde (und zuvor bereits sportlich war), sondern weil man so einfach nicht mit Kunden umzugehen hat. Was ist das bitte für ein Aushängeschild für Düsseldorf an einer solch prominenten Stelle?!

Ich war in Begleitung unterwegs und fand den Platz im Außenbereich sehr schön, orderte die Karte, um Getränke zu bestellen. Auf der Karte wurde Prosecco (Glas 0,1l, 8 Euro) angeboten, wlechen ich auch bestellen wollte. Die Bedienung meinte daraufhin, sie würde mir unbedingt den Rosè anbieten, der sehr schön fruchtig sei. Dies traf auch zu. Als ich zahlen wollte, war ich sehr erstaunt über die Rechnung: 2xBerlucchi Rosé Glas *11,00 *22,00. Ich fragte nach. Ihre Antwort war, der Rosé sei eben teurer. Bei ihrer Empfehlung kein Wort davon und die Karte war längst weggeräumt. Das war schon herb. Ich bezahlte und ging.

Erstmal muss man sagen, es war mega voll, hat halt eine super Lage und profitiert natürlich davon. Die Mitarbeiter wirkten gehetzt und das Essen war nicht wirklich der Hit, die Preise dagegen gesalzen, dieses hätte ich mir auch im Essen gewünscht. Die Pasta war einfach zu lasch und für knappe 20€ muß das schon stimmen. 11€ für einen Wein, naja die Lage lässt es zu. Alles in allem, befriedigend.

Immer ein Genuss die Italienischen leckeren Kuchen zu verzehren, immer ein Erlebnis.

Schlechtester Italiener nördlich der Alpen! Das Essen ist sehr teuer aber schlecht. Zunächst ist das Brot schon nicht geröstet. Das Essen schmeckt sehr lieblos, schlecht und völlig unzureichend gewürzt. Das Antipasti schmeckt nicht und das Kartoffelpüree ist nicht selbst gemacht. Das sollte man bei den Preisen jedoch erwarten können. Der Service war ok. Ich habe sehr lange nicht so schlecht gegessen. Vor etlichen Jahren war es hier besser.

Wir sitzen wunderbar draußen, Blick ins Grüne. Sehr freundlicher, aufmerksamer Service, der sich in den Speisen auch auskennt. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und sieht fantastisch aus. Dazu Rotwein...Klasse...

Garnicht zu empfehlen Unfreundliche Stimmung Essen hat garnicht geschmeckt hausgemachte Nudeln waren eiskalt null Geschmack

Nice place, but classic French hospitality Had a drink, but staff seemed unamused we only wanted a drink and nothing to eat Only cash pay under 10€ (is this 2023?) As said earlier by someone else: had to ask multiple times for the bill
