Plaka - Griechisches Restaurant in Allersberg

I didn't realize rice and salad had gotten so expensive. There wasn't much of the actual dish on it. We won't be coming back. We'll probably eat somewhere else from now on.

The service was a bit chaotic, and several dishes weren't on the menu. But the food that arrived was truly delicious: perfectly cooked steaks, fresh salads, and very generous portions. Delicious local beer. It was clear the guests felt comfortable there. We recommend it, mainly for the delicious food and charming terrace. Unfortunately, smoking is allowed, which is not a good thing for non-smokers.

There were four of us and we sat on the terrace. The food was once again excellent, and the service was prompt, friendly, and helpful. The seating, however, is great for sitting comfortably, but uncomfortable for eating. The interior of the restaurant is very tastefully decorated and feels very cozy. It's easy to linger and enjoy dessert or another glass of wine.

The restaurant can only be recommended, you rarely find such a Greek, always friendly and accommodating, the food was always top-notch and we will 100% be back on our next holiday, everything was top-notch

We wanted to go out to eat and were turned away at the door because the waitress didn't "know" how to accommodate seven people, and a dog wouldn't be a problem because there's not much space. Once and never again.

The food is good, but in my opinion, the menu is too overloaded. Less is often more. A few standard dishes and a changing weekly menu would be sufficient and, above all, more varied. The service could be more attentive (seeing when glasses are empty). Therefore, I give it a 3 🌟

Delicious, friendly people, worth repeating

We arrived here, eager for a table by the pond, only to learn that due to a lack of staff, they couldn't serve us down by the water. So we sat upstairs on the terrace, which was quite nice. Since we arrived spontaneously for dinner at 5:30 p.m., we were the only guests, and the manager had time for a little chat. Ordering was quick, the food arrived promptly, and overall, tasted very good. One point deducted for the almost cold turkey strips on the salad, which I would have expected to be freshly cooked and piping hot. I also found it inappropriate and unpleasant that while we were eating, the manager and a waiter were using a mop to remove cobwebs from the various window frames on the terrace... The restrooms were spacious and fresh.

I was there again, as part of a group. Good and friendly staff, the manager(?) not so much. Unfortunately, there will be no vegan and hardly any vegetarian main courses in 2025 either. If I weren't part of a group, I wouldn't come back. No card payments in 2025, absurd.

Exceptionally impudent waitress. Older, with short blonde hair. Very unkind right at the entrance - she spoke to us with a complete lack of respect. After giving us the menu (also not politely) we sat down. The waitress literally started shouting at us, saying we weren't allowed to sit there because the table hadn't been cleaned yet. I am a guest. If I choose to sit at a table (and there is no reservation), it is her duty to clean it. After being treated this way, we were completely disgusted and left the restaurant. This is not how you treat customers.

Great selection of food. Large portions. Delicious food. Friendly service, a great atmosphere, and plenty of ouzo. I'd happily return. I highly recommend it 👍🏻

Rarely eaten so well, would love to come back

It was very crowded and a bit chaotic. But when, after about 20 minutes of waiting, we still couldn't order anything because no one came, the manager of the store yelled at us to leave because we hadn't ordered anything yet. How are we supposed to order something if we don't get any menus and no wait staff cares? I can't say anything about the food because we didn't get that far. One of the worst stores I've ever been to.

The six of us wanted to go out to eat in this restaurant on Monday, but unfortunately that didn't happen. We sat at a table for about 15 minutes until the manager of the restaurant came up to us and asked us in a very aggressive tone if we had ordered something, he needed the table, we could hardly answer before he was gone again. When I tried to talk to him, he completely freaked out and became very loud and abusive.

I am very very very happy with everything Service top. Food was great. Everything very plentiful. Price performance is top. Had the 61 and can absolutely recommend it! Positively surprised to find such a good Greek here today! Greetings!

Top Restaurant Kalamari tastes great

I usually only eat meat but today I suddenly felt like something great vegetarian. Unfortunately the spaghetti with vegetables was out today, so I treated myself to the spaghetti with tomato sauce and it was really a feast! I can only highly recommend it, and most importantly: be sure to add the extra cheese! Kind regards from the old hospital

We visited the Greek restaurant and were completely impressed! The menu is varied and offers many authentic Greek dishes - there is something for everyone here. We thought it was particularly great that regional drinks were also offered. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. The portions were generous and the food was delicious. If you want to have Greek food in this area, then Plaka is the place for you. Quality and service and a welcome via Ouzo are very important here. The boss is very friendly and accommodating. The food tastes great and there is a huge selection. No cheap goods! You also take some time for a nice small talk! So let the good food itself inspire you.

A very good Greek restaurant in a small town, close to the highway. We were passing there and found it on the Internet. Very tasty Greek food, nice and almost family atmosphere! We recommend!!!

The food has been really tasty and of high quality for years and the service has been satisfactory, but now you have really gone too far, which has led me to take back my good rating. I just think that asking €18.80 for a bit of gyros so that you can still see the plate, two thin slices of calamari and two small piles of tomato rice is now just audacious. Other dishes similarly increased in price and shrank in size. A wafer-thin layer of tzatziki €6.60. Beer 3.80 €, but also for the salty-tasting, terrible mineral water. We've been happy to come to you for years, putting up with the ever-changing portion sizes, the various price increases and the ouzo that's significantly diluted with water, but now it's really enough. A look at the other tables also showed us that 1) all guests received small portions and we were not the exception 2) there is hardly anyone from Allersberger to be seen here, just tourists and walk-in customers trying to get money out of their pockets. Please view this review as constructive criticism and not as an attack on you, otherwise you will ultimately ruin Plaka's good reputation. In any case, we won't be eating here again so quickly after our last visit, no matter how difficult it is for us, because the food was and is always very tasty, but unfortunately the way in which they try to maximize profits doesn't let us other choice.

We have been visiting this restaurant for years - the best Greek far and wide. The quality and taste of the food is perfect every time. Good size portions. Service very friendly. It's a shame that the restaurant in Weissenburg is closed - but it's always worth the slightly further journey to Allersberg for us.

June 24: Menu has become significantly more expensive, price increase per dish by at least €2 since May 24th. Portions have shrunk. Disappointing.👎 We weren't full. Can I do without it 👎 The landlord should think about whether calamari is justified for €21 and whether you leave the restaurant hungry. Good, but way too expensive. Like everywhere, drinks are also the evil. In any case, the VAT doesn't do it. More like greed... A pity.....

Clean and great restaurant...the lady was super friendly and nice and felt very comfortable...we had a platter for 2 people...everything was there in sufficient quantities and the quality was very good and tasty...couldn't eat everything and the rest Of course it was packed for us... we saved the restaurant and will come back when we are nearby... we can only recommend it, really great 👌👌👍👍 also recommended, you can also have a great meal on the terrace by the lake sit and eat

I stopped there spontaneously today. So the staff wasn't exactly too friendly. One had more of the impression that one was disturbing. The food came quickly, tasted okay but somehow I had the feeling that the gyros had been warmed up. Card payments are also non-existent, only cash. Well, it was a snapshot. The food is delicious, but Costa, the incredibly lovely, charming and friendly waiter, is also one reason why we like to come. There is only one thing that bothers you. The boss sometimes treats her employees disrespectfully and arrogantly, including Costa. We have witnessed several times that she complained to him weakly and condescendingly. Firstly, it is inappropriate in front of the guests and it is not nice when superiors behave like that. She should also be grateful to have such a great waiter who is a magnet for guests.

Went there spontaneously today, very fast and mostly friendly service. You only had to pack up the leftovers that you couldn't manage, which bothered me a bit. The food was good - but the dishes were very large. Tzatziki are very delicious - exquisite Service - the restaurant is run by two Greek men, very polite. Atmosphere - restaurant decor inspired by ancient Greece. Worth a visit.

Food has always been good. One star deducted because there is no real online website or anything comparable. I would have expected at least a minimalist online presence where you could view the current menu.

Wir waren seit längerer Zeit wieder mal zu Gast bei Fam. Missiaris in Allersberg und können nur sagen: Das Essen, der Service und das gesamte Ambiente sind wie eh und je einsame Spitze. Meine Frau hatte die Nummer 31 (Calamaris gebacken) und war begeistert. Die Calamaris waren auf den Punkt genau gebacken, waren saftig und sehr geschmackvoll. Ich hatte die Nummer 46 (Gyros, Leber und Calamaris) und war ebenfalls äußerst angetan vom Geschmack und der Qualität der Speisen. Auch die Größe der Portionen ist genau richtig. Wir waren richtig satt und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das PLAKA können wir nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen und wir kommen bestimmt bald wieder und werden Mundpropaganda für's PLAKA machen. Bitte weiter so, Liebes PAKA Team.

Das Essen war super lecker und auch mit großem Hunger wird man nicht enttäuscht.

Gutes Restaurant im Herzen des kleinen Städtchen. Freundliche Bedienung und angenehmes Ambiente. Hier habe ich mein bisher bestes Bifteki gegessen. Ganz klare Weiterempfehlung

Prachtig terras, ruime keuze! Goed glas bier.

Das Essen war unterdurchschnittlich, das Personal war sehr unfreundlich. Wir haben uns nicht erwünscht gefühlt.

Leider wurden wir diesmal enttäuscht. Das hat diesmal nicht geschmeckt. Der Chef, den ich darauf angesprochen habe, war sehr arrogant, laut und abweisend. Dann eben nicht mehr. Jemand der keine konstruktive Kritik vertragen kann, bekommt keine zweite Chance.

Sehr gutes Essen und freundliche Bedienung.

Die Terasse mit Ausblick auf den See ist wirklich sehr schön. Sehr störend und unverschämt finde ich allerdings, dass ohne Vorwarnung abends die Markise eingeholt wird, dadurch fällt der über den Tag angesammelte Dreck nicht nur auf den Esstisch, sondern leider auch auf Essen und in Trinkgläser. Leider war das Bifteki auch fast schon kalt und sehr trocken.

Wir kehren hier immer wieder auf unseren Reisen ein. Das Essen ist hervorragend und der Service ebenso. Erstmals konnten wir diesmal sogar die geöffnete Terrasse genießen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Wir haben dieses Restaurant heute besucht. Leider lag in meinem Zaziki, welcher auf einem Salatblatt auf dem Hauptteller gelagert war, ein abgelutschter Olivenkern. Dieser muss das Fruchtfleisch schon beim vorherigen Gast verloren haben und tief und nicht sichtbar in die Menge gedrückt wurde. Ich biss mit einer Wucht auf den Kern, dass ein lautes Knacken nicht zu überhören war. Meine Familie schaute mich nach dem Krach sofort sorgenvoll an. In meinen Augen eine Frechheit, nicht nur, weil ich offensichtlich die nicht aufgegessenen Reste inklusive abgelutschtem Kern auf meinem Teller liegen hatte, was mir fast den Zahn kostete. Als ich den Geschäftsführer daraufhin konfrontierte fing er an mir zu erklären wie man Oliven isst!😡😡😡😡😡. Darauf wiederholte ich das der Kern ohne Fleisch in dieser schon mal servierten Pampe lag. Weder ein Einsehen noch eine Entschuldigung folgten.Der Kellner kam nochmal an den Tisch und ich zeigte ihm den zerstörten Kern welchen er mit nahm. Das war's. Das das Essen geschmeckt hat will ich hier nicht verschweigen, der Appetit ist mir trotzdem vergangen. Nieeee wieder!!!!!!

Zum Essen kann ich leider nichts sagen, da wir nicht dazu kamen. Wir wollten zu viert essen, freuten uns zunächst über die freundliche (weibliche) Bedienung. Das Essen wurde dann von dem "Chef" serviert, der zunächst zu dem Gericht meiner Frau eine falsche Bestellnummer nannte. Darauf hingewiesen reagierte er sehr unangenehm und extrem aggressiv. Als nach wenigen Minuten erst drei der vier Bestellungen serviert waren, fragten wir, wann denn das vierte Gericht komme, da wir gerne gemeinsam essen wollten. Daraufhin rastete der "Chef" völlig aus, schrie uns an und sagte, extrem aggressiv und bedrohlich, wir sollen jetzt endlich essen und niemals wieder in sein Lokal kommen. Da wir alle etwas derart unflätiges noch niemals gehört und erlebt hatten, schockiert waren, verging uns schlagartig der Appetit und wir verließen dieses gastfeindliche Lokal. Beim Verlassen mussten wir uns dann noch als Asoziales Pack beschimpfen lassen und fühlten uns bedroht. Das Ambiente und Essen sah eigentlich gut aus; wirklich schade, dass der "Chef" seinen Antiaggressionskurs nicht erfolgreich abschließen konnte...

The owner of the restaurant was aggressive and rude. He yelled at us and said that the food given was what we ordered, even thought he himself got the order number wrong. Afterwards, when only three out of four meals were delivered, we asked where the fourth was. He proceeded by saying we need to wait and eat our food. He got aggressive with my mom and I responded by saying that's now how you talk to your customers. He responded by saying we need to sit, eat our food and that he's been owner of this place for over twenty years! We then decided to leave as the atmosphere was no longer nice and no longer felt safe and proceeded to leave. He forced us back to eat and sit and was within our personal space and we felt he was going to beat us. The owner is aggressive, rude and also verbally and almost physically abusive. He called us low life's in front of all the customers there. What an ungrateful owner. Never ever again. Would file a police report for abuse if needed.

Es stimmte einfach alles. Wir haben auf der Durchreise mit dem Wohnmobil in diesem Ort hat gemacht und sind hier eingekehrt. Sehr gute Entscheidung 👍🏻 Das Personal sehr freundlich. Das Ambiente sehr gepflegt und das Essen .... PERFEKT ☆☆☆☆☆ Wir haben z.B. schon oft leckeres Zaziki gegessen, aber dieses einfach köstlich. Unsere Hauptgerichte Nr 46 und Nr 52 ... super lecker. Wir waren auf der Durchreise und wollten Abendbrot essen, nur 2 Restaurants haben wir im Ort geöffnet gefunden. Entsprechend voll war es, der Service hatte gut zu tun und war trotzdem sehr freundlich und schnell. Das Essen hat mich von der Qualität positiv überrascht, alles war schmackhaft und bekömmlich, der Salat frisch, die Speisen gut gewürzt, der Ouzo angenehm mild. Angenehmes Ambiente, schöner Blick auf den See, saubere Toiletten… Empfehlenswert.

En overnatning på vej hjem fra Italien førte os til Allersberg og vi måtte finde et sted at spise aftensmad. Plaka er nedslidt og lidt sølle at se på men der skjuler sig faktisk en udemærket restaurant bag. Vi fik Schnitzel, pizza og en græsk ret. Alt smagte udemærket. Tjeneren var det største hit da han lavede sjov med vores børn der havde em fodbold med. Tjeneren kunne en del tricks med en bold til stor glæde for ungerne. Sjov oplevelse på et sted der overraskede positivt

Sehr gutes Essen, riessen Auswahl, alle sechs Gäste aus unserer Familie waren rundum zufrieden. Die Bedienung war auf Zack, die Preise angemessen. Jederzeit wieder.

Wir haben mit dem Wohnmobil hält gemacht in Allersberg 300 m weiter ist das Restaurant, schön gelegen an einem kleinen See, wir wurden sehr gut bedient, das Essen war sehr lecker, ein empfehlenswerten Abstecher wenn sie auf der Autobahn von oder nach Berlin unterwegs sind und keine Versorgung oder Strom für eine Nacht brauchen.

Das Essen hat im Vergleich zu den letzten Jahren etwas an Qualität verloren aber ist immer noch sehr gut. Toller und freundlicher Service.

Sehr gepflegtes Restaurant, ein schönes Ambiente. Der Kellner war a bisl durch den Wind. Erst die Bestellung vergessen und dann den falschen Grillteller bekommen. Nix des so trotz: Essen war trotzdem sehr gut.

Große Portion, immer sehr Freundlich, wirklich einen Besuch wert. Kann ich nur empfehlen den Griechen. Die pommes sind auch immer frisch und schön heiß. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben hier meinen Geburtstag mit einem super griechischem Essen mit prima Wein und toller Bedienung, in wunderschönem Ambiente, gefeiert. Bei passendem Wetter ist die Terasse absolut zu empfehlen! Der Ouzo ohne bezahlen schmeckt natürlich am besten. :-) Preis - Leistungsverhältnis nach wie vor TOP!!!! G & R

Sehr gutes Essen (wir waren mit 12 Personen dort und haben die unterschiedlichsten Speisen gegessen - alle ware von der Qualität überzeugt). Die Portionen sind groß - auf einen Nachtisch habe ich deshalb verzichtet. Alle Essen wurden gleichzeitig serviert. Der Service ist aufmerksam und freundlich. An der einen oder anderen Ecke des Lokals könnte man wieder das Ambiente auffrischen. Aber das ist Geschmackssache. Das Gewölbe fand ich sehr schön.
