Good home-style Franconian food. Beautiful location and great beer garden.

Food was good, portions could have just been larger.

Village inn that we drove to for a rest from the motorway. Prices OK.

There is a notice at the entrance stating that they do not accept credit cards. At checkout they said they don't accept bank cards either, only cash! So I had to withdraw money first. They should have stated better that they only accept cash.

A cozy Franconian inn with very good Franconian cuisine. A small beer garden facing the market square. Rustic, cozy interior. The landlord is very friendly and attentive. My sauerbraten was nice and soft but still had a bite. As a beer, Tucher is available in all varieties, you just have to like it 😁 We were all full and had a lovely evening

It's a very nice, cozy restaurant. The food tasted very tasty and the portions were very sufficient. There was a very nice atmosphere in the restaurant and the staff was very nice. Overall, I can highly recommend this restaurant.

We were passing through with 5 people and 2 babies. We received a super warm welcome, super super warm and lovely staff, very accommodating. Food was great, and super tasty at prices that I didn't even think were possible, we were thrilled. Absolute recommendation from us.

Very nice traditional inn with delicious German cuisine. You can hardly find it anymore. Fast, friendly service, cozy and clean guest rooms. Cute little outdoor area.

We had dinner there twice during a short stay. From the friendly welcome to the great service to the very good and plentiful food, everything is just right here. It couldn't be better!

We got there by chance and didn't regret it!

I usually went to lunch on Wednesdays and Thursdays (unfortunately Monday and Tuesday were closed) for work, and sometimes in the evening at the Gasthof Goldener Löwe. The ambience with partial pine wood paneling looks very cozy and invites you to linger. The dishes were always perfectly prepared and we also have a very good, well-rehearsed team in the kitchen. From soups, sauerbraten, liver, Schäufle, fish (including carp) and much more, you can recommend everything on the menu. The innkeepers with Maria are always very accommodating, friendly, careful and quick.

Very tasty food at a reasonable price. We sat outside at lunchtime when the weather was nice. We recommend.

Anyone who likes to eat meat is welcome. If you don't like eating meat, the landlord sends you on your way with a stupid saying: "I'd better close the menu before I change the menu."

Beautiful dignified inn. Even though it was full, including an event, they made room for us at the counter. There we had the best service and were able to enjoy an excellent meal. We would like to come again.

We were here for the first time today and were thrilled. According to grandma, “the best carp”! The roast venison was very delicious, as was the sauerbraten and the Schäuferle! The salads are fresh and delicious. Price performance is also great! Thank you for the friendly hospitality and the very tasty food! We will be back! Update: We celebrated our starting school there today. Super delicious fresh food. Roast venison is a poem, the carp is the best ever, the sauerbraten is super delicious! Thank you for the good service and the delicious food. We always enjoy coming here! Easter dinner 2024: we were here on both Easter Sunday and Easter Monday. From carp to roast veal, everything was, as always, super tasty and fresh. The turkey schnitzel is crispy and tender and the fries are super fresh and very digestible. We really enjoy coming here and are always impressed by the food and the good service!

Went there spontaneously to eat while passing through. Excellent Schäufele and super friendly service, they even got a table especially for us.

We were looking for a restaurant off the highway while passing through and wouldn't be disappointed. The restaurant was full or reserved and we could still sit on the bench at the counter with our daughter. The waitresses were consistently friendly and the food was really tasty and at good prices. We can recommend the restaurant without reservation and will definitely stop by again if we ever find ourselves in the area again!

Very cozy, Franconian inn with Franconian specialties from meat to fish, the friendly and quick service leaves no complaints. We were very satisfied and will definitely come back. We can therefore highly recommend this restaurant and are already looking forward to the delicious food on our next visit. Wir kommen immer wieder sehr gerne in den goldenen Löwen . Die fränkischen Spezialitäten sind sehr lecker , und reichhaltig . Der Service ist immer freundlich und wir haben noch nie lange Wartezeiten gehabt . Sogar an Weihnachten mit der Familie waren die gemütlichen 3 Stunden viel zu schnell vorbei. Wir können diesen Gasthof, im Herzen von Allersberg, bestens empfehlen und freuen uns bald wieder auf eine gemütliche Einkehr.

Very good restaurant. We are in the area on business and have eaten there twice so far. Everyone enjoyed it wonderfully, the portions were sized for a large appetite. The Schäufele arrived best. Rustic atmosphere, attentive staff. Absolutely to suggest.

At the end of October 2023 we were there as a family, I had a very tasty carp for lunch. About two hours later I started having terrible stomach cramps and as the afternoon went on I felt worse and worse. From late afternoon onwards I was constantly vomiting and I could hardly breathe because of the stomach cramps. The emergency services had to come to me at midnight and they diagnosed me with fish poisoning. I was miserable. Further tests the following day confirmed food poisoning. High fever for several days, hellish gastrointestinal cramps with constant vomiting, intestinal pain and diarrhea. It was hell and it took me weeks to get back to my old self. When I called the inn and said that I had fish poisoning from carp, the boss was rather arrogant and unfriendly and said that I was probably a vegetarian because their carp were fried in pork fat and I probably wouldn't have tolerated that. She also always had problems roasting goose at Christmas. I found this reaction very cocky and bold. Not being able to tolerate a fatty meal and getting severe fish poisoning are two different things. Gasthof Goldener Löwe - No thanks. I'm served.

A very tasty Franconian cuisine, even though we always eat roast pork and baked carp, a must to eat here on the way to Munich.

Eigentlich gebe ich nie 5 Sterne, weil noch Luft nach oben bleiben muss. Aber hier bringe ich es nicht übers Herz. Ein wirklich schönes und gepflegtes Ambiente empfängt einen. Wirtin und Wirt sind herzlich und nett, natürlich auch unsere Bedienung. Und das Essen ist wirklich exzellent und für die Preise sehr gut. Hier wird offensichtlich noch ehrlich und handwerklich gut gekocht. Danke dafür.

Dieser Gasthof in Allersberg ist einfach nur spitze! Gemütlich, freundlicher und schneller Service, Tucher Pils vom Fass, großartige bayrische Schmankerl und sensationelles Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis! Besonders erwähnenswert: das ofenfrische Schäuferl und der gebackene Karpfen.

Hervorragende Bayerische Küche. Alles handgemacht, frisch zubereitet, keine Fertigprodukte, die man nur noch aufwämt. Die Gulaschsuppe war einfach wunderbar, das Schäufele knusprig mit leckerer Soße und selbstgemachtem Kloß, was man direkt bemerken konnte. Netter Service, preislich absolut fair. Hat uns wirklich Spaß gemacht 👍

Wir waren auf der Heimreise und planten einen Zwischenstopp mit 8 Mann zum Karpfenessen. Tatsächlich hat dann keiner einen Karpfen. Die Speisen sahen auf den anderen Tellern so gut aus, das wir alle unterschiedlich bestellten. Unsere Wahl war hervorragend, die seinesgleichen gefunden hat. Pudelwohl und gut genährt machten wir uns dann auf die Heimreise. Wir werden wieder kommen.

Nette kleine Kneipe mit Hausmannskost. Ging alles sehr schnell und der Preis ist ok.

Gutes fränkisches Essen. Sehr netter Gastgeber und guter Service. Das Matjesfilet war sehr gut. Wir kommen gern wieder. Klare Empfehlung.

Wir waren kurzfristig zum Mittagessen dort. Das Essen (Sauerbraten, Schnitzel, Schweinefilet mit Pfifferlinge) war sehr lecker 😋. Mitarbeiter alle sehr freundlich, Preise fürs Essen sind in Ordnung und angemessen.

Wir waren mit unserem Wohnmobil auf der Durchreise und sind sehr spät (erst 5 Minuten vor Feierabend) in der Gaststätte angekommen. Goed eten, nette prijs. Ook 2 verbeter puntjes wat ons betreft; mayonaise bij de patat serveren (er zat niets bij van saus) en bij 1 gerecht hadden we frites gevraagd ipv wat er standaard bij zat. Dit werd dus voor beiden patat uiteindelijk.

Noch nie so schlecht gegessen und unhöflich behandelt worden. Bei Reklamation des Essens - dumm dreiste Antwort erhalten und anschließend voll abkassiert worden. Wirklich nicht zu empfehlen, es sei denn, Sie mögen alte Kartoffeln in der Pfanne angewärmt als Bratkartoffeln.

Vor fünf Minuten in den Gasthof Goldener Löwe gegessen . Leber mit Röstzwiebeln und Bratkartoffeln. Super lecker und zart. Preisleistung ist perfekt.
