Pizzeria Trattoria Allegria in Hanau

We ordered various dishes with the family and it was delicious.

We spontaneously drove to Hanau with the family and happened to be standing in front of the shop. The shop was full and we thought, then it can only taste good here. We went in and the staff was pressured and very chaotic. Nevertheless, we got a table for 4 people and ordered 2 pizzas, 1x gnocchi with truffles and 1x lasagna. During this time, glasses were falling behind the counter and you could tell that the team was struggling with time and when the food came, you also realized that the kitchen was working a little crazy. The dough for the pizzas was soggy, the dough had no or very little tomato sauce, so both pizzas simply tasted like bread with toppings. There was hardly any cheese either. The lasagne was simply watery, more like dough in a tomato sauce 😄 so not lasagna as it should actually be. Was in the oven too short. And the gnocchi were tasty, but the pesto was too salty, making it difficult to swallow. All in all it cost €65. Unfortunately you could have saved yourself. Unfortunately we will not visit the store again. ☹️

So... It's like being on vacation. A small world of its own with good food. Nice service.... Pictures say it all..

On the recommendation of a friend, we went to eat at their place. We are 100% in Italy: ‐ speech - the real Neapolitan pizza - the real carbonara I add a dish: - fennel sausage - porcini mushrooms - venison fillet - roast potatoes - rocket and cherry tomatoes We concluded with: - homemade "fiesta" type dessert - grappa K24 Gold Liquid distillery Bertagnolli - Verzi coffee (real Italian coffee) But the added value of this "tratteria" (trattoria/pizzeria) is Fabio and his father, in addition to the undisputed affability of all the staff and the proven ability of the chefs and pizza makers. Well done!!! I won't forget you...

The salad was ok, pizza was really good and fresh, we didn‘t really like carbonara, also the pasta seemed good and handmade, it was undercooked and too salty

It's a shame, I enjoyed eating here. I wanted to make pizza at home and pick up the dough here, but suddenly it was no longer possible.

The Allegria has become our absolute favorite Italian restaurant since it opened! Not only are there delicious wood-fired pizzas and fresh pasta, but also heavenly desserts. The service is exceptional – warm, open and uncomplicated. The guest is truly king here and every wish is fulfilled with the greatest attention. The atmosphere is charming and cozy, in summer you can even sit outside and inside there is a typical Italian atmosphere. The price-performance ratio is more than fair!

We've been going there for years but what happened today left me speechless. We were sitting outside and none of the boys paid attention to the fact that we were sitting there. Only when we got up did they say you've already chosen the boy, you were so funny, great performance to serve his guests.

Great Italian restaurant opposite the forum. The pizza was great. The service was quick and nice. The ambience is cool.

Urlaub in Italien bei zünftigen Essen bester Qualität, überraschend gutem Wein und einem unglaublich freundlichen Service. Schick ist der Laden mit seinen Fotos in Petersburger Hängung irgendwie auch noch. Das Publikum ist herrlich gemischt, jung und alt, alle beisammen, wie es sich für eine zünftige italienische Piazza gehört. Und versprochen: die Krawatte bleibt beim nächsten Besuch aus.

If you like mediocre food and bad service, this is the place for you.

Allegria has become my go-to place for Italian food. The pizza is to die for and a decent portion. Every cent is worth it here. The staff is friendly and very personable. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The atmosphere in the restaurant itself is really nice, with lots of pictures of people eating pasta. Of course, there is also the classic white and red checkered tablecloth. In the evening the candles are lit on the table. It's beautiful every time. I have already recommended it to a few people and invited my family there.

The restaurant was recommended to me by the hotel. I can't make a recommendation. There are definitely better restaurants out there.

The food tasted delicious, but unfortunately I didn't quite like it, the service was so overwhelmed and unfriendly on my last visits, even though the employees were well represented, but there was simply no service thought, food was brought in the wrong way, some things were forgotten, you have to pay Unfortunately, put pressure on yourself, otherwise the waiting time is -40 minutes, the atmosphere is very nice, classic southern Italian, but the negative points predominately make me no longer want to come here.

The price of the food is too expensive for small portions, especially with the noodles. Anyone who eats pizza will get their money's worth. Service is friendly but unstructured and you wait a long time for your food. Honestly not recommended for me!

Great store. Nice team and authentic Italian cuisine. Price-performance is completely ok (picture = 23 euros). We had the Italian salad and the Bresaola pizza. Delicious!

Pizzas are oven-baked and very delicious, with excellent dough. They are served very quickly and hot, a perfect experience.

Pasta didn't come for an hour and the pizzas still didn't come after an hour and a half. They apologized because the kitchen couldn't keep up because they were watching football. Plus, that's not how you make a bruschetta, zero flavor, and pasta was soggy and had no salt.

Were there for the first time today, pizza baked in the stone oven, really very good. Also have pizzas with special toppings. I had a pizza with mozzarella, fig jam, Parma ham and burrata, it was very good. Will definitely stop by again in Hanau.

I visited place in very rainy day, I was looking for a warm and not so touristy place. The place was full with people, I knew that this place shall be good comparing it to other pizzerias around. Personnel was kind when I asked to provide a blanket indoors although it is a middle of the summer :) I ordered a pizza with gorgonzola cheese and pears, it was delicious. They also offered a panna Cota with different flavors, so I fall for Strawberry panna Cota - it was amazing.

The BEST and most authentic carbonara with homemade pasta 😍. Dear 🫶. PS: the lasagne also tastes sooooo delicious, which is rare in other restaurants because most people just throw tons of cheese on it 🤯. The waiters are also very friendly and make space even when there isn't any left 👏🤞🙌.

Food was ok...ordering drinks unfortunately took 35 minutes

There were two of us there without a reservation. Even though the store was full, we were seated immediately. Service and the staff were great, everything happened very quickly! The shop is too noisy. VERY LOUD! If you want to have a normal conversation with your seat partner or want to eat something in peace, this is the wrong place. We had pasta with pesto and a pizza magarita. Unfortunately it was a disappointment, even though I had only heard good things. The pasta generally lacked salt and the pesto sauce was more of just a cream sauce. You can eat pizza, but nothing special like what people write here. Have eaten much better ones.

Today, for the first time, a guest at the pizzeria “Allegria” in Hanau. We've heard a lot of positive things about the pizzeria and just wanted to get a "picture" of it ourselves. Unfortunately the restaurant was completely full and so we were asked by a waitress to try it again in 2 hours. Since the entire outdoor area had seating but was completely empty, we decided to eat outside despite the adverse temperatures. The waiter was very accommodating and immediately set up a table for 5 people. The menu was clear and contained everything a pizzeria trattoria should offer. All pizzas are baked in a wood-fired oven and taste very, very good. The pasta dishes are also highly recommended, as the pasta is made in-house. Unfortunately, as business has increased (more customers) the service has decreased. The price-performance ratio is right - (food and drinks for 5 people €100) apart from the service. Despite repeated requests to pay, we had to wait over half an hour. After I paid, I asked for a “receipt for entertainment,” which the waiter, who was running around like a clown the whole time trying to get radio reception for his payment machine, was unable to print out for me for technical reasons. Unfortunately, it wasn't a professional performance - but as I said, the quality of the food made it worth it. A visit is definitely recommended, but as I said - bring your time!! Enjoy your meal and have fun in the Pizzeria Trattoria “Allegria”!

Very tasty stone oven pizza. What's particularly great is that there is also very good gluten-free pizza and pasta for people with celiac disease. Super customer oriented. When the gluten-free pizza that my wife was really looking forward to was finally sold out, the chef created a special pasta delicacy for her with asparagus and prawns. Totally recommended.

Food was good, restaurant crowded and cramped. Host rather annoyed, rude and not very hospitable. If you just want a decent pizza, this is the place for you. We didn't experience coziness and Italian serenity here

Food is lucky, there are days that you eat well or very well and others that it is almost inedible. The service is miserable, they almost always get at least one dish wrong and they don't apologize or try to change it but rather they try in every way to leave it there! Once the pizza is almost Neapolitan, once it's German, once it's burnt... Then in the end they don't even offer you a coffee or a small discount for all the problems caused while brazenly at other tables they know and especially if there are beautiful women they offer to everything and more! Terrible experience at this restaurant. The service was abysmal. Our waiter was drunk but at least positive, however, he only managed to get in 1 of our orders (there were three of us). We had to remind him twice and by the time the other food came one person was already finished. When we asked for a bill, we specifically said separately. Another waiter came in with a single bill, when we asked for a separate bill he rolled his eyes and refused our request, accusing us of lying. The only redeeming quality I liked, which would probably be a turn-off for some, was that an addict came into the place, and one of the waiters they treated him kindly. But they gave him money, it probably would have been better if they just gave him food instead. The food was good.

Like in Italy! Warm welcome! Luckily we still got a spot. We were absolutely thrilled with the service and the food and are looking forward to our next visit! Only recommended.

Was eating there for the first time. Had a side salad and a pizza. Unfortunately both are very bland. The pizza dough was just ok for me personally. Ambience uncomfortable, narrow and loud.

Unfortunately disappointed. We went there with anticipation because we wanted to eat gluten-free. Unfortunately we had to notice and watch as the pizza was taken out of the frozen packaging. We also had to pay 3 euros more for gluten-free pizza. So we could have saved ourselves the trip and just bought a ready-made pizza at the supermarket. When we mentioned it to the waiter, he said that you don't have the option of freshly baking gluten-free locally. Then you shouldn't advertise it either. Unfortunately it was our first and last time.

We ate here because of the gluten-free option. We were very disappointed because the dough is not freshly made there. It comes out of the package. That's how it tasted too. So I could have bought myself frozen pizza. The gluten-free pizza costs 3 euros more compared to the other normal pizza. The service was also different. One was very sweet and the other had a cheeky nature.

😘 5 stars are actually not enough. There can't be a nicer atmosphere and better food in a trattoria. We come often and are always thrilled. Thanks to Marian and his wonderful team. ♥️

When I read some of the reviews here, I'm blown away hahahahah There are actually people here who complain that the pizzeria employees look at women or that the pizza isn't seasoned. Who does pizza seasoning? The pizza is a smooth 4, everyone who rated it differently has no hint of bubbles.

Small restaurant in a good central location in Hanau. We were lucky to get a seat without a reservation. We noticed the later the afternoon, the more crowded it would be! Also good for a quick break with a colleague! Next time with reservation 😃 Service good! Eat good ! Price good! Open all day !

There were four of us in the restaurant yesterday. It was freezing cold in the restaurant, the four of us sat crammed into a mini table by the window. It was loud in the restaurant, employees were shouting loudly throughout the store. The pizza maker clattered his plates extremely loudly on the counter. My friend specifically ordered a salad with yogurt dressing and was given a salad with balsamic vinegar, but fortunately it was exchanged. All 4 of us had a pizza, which came to the table lukewarm. Conclusion: we won't eat there again.

Ganz großes Kino wow. Tolles Lokal, sehr sehr leckeres Essen und zuvorkommendes Personal was noch Spass an der Arbeit hat. Wir kommen wieder.

Local mic dar cu o ambianță plăcută.Pizza se pregătește la cuptor pe lemne și acest lucru creează atmosfera în restautant. Bucatarii care pregătesc pizza sunt foarte drăguți și amabili.

Das Essen ist superlecker. Für mich schmeckt es tatsächlich so, als hätte 'la Mama' daheim gekocht. Das Ambiente fühlt sich für mich auch wie in Bella Italia an. Schade, dass ich nicht in der Nähe wohne. Ansonsten wäre ich mit Sicherheit sehr oft hier.

Essen war lecker und auch günstig, allerdings ist es mir persönlich etwas zu laut und zugig. Und das Weissbier (führt aber nicht zur Abwertung) taugt leider überhaupt nichts.

Allegria è proprio un nome azzeccato per questo locale,un po piccolo ma molto caloroso,cibo squisito,personale gentilissimo,e prezzi secondo me contenuti rispetto a quello che si mangia,ho portato famiglia e amici,sempre tutti soddisfatti!

Für mich die beste Pizzeria in der Region und mindestens Top-3 aller Pizzerien, bei denen ich bisher war. Die Pizza wird frisch gemacht und kommt aus dem Holzofen, die Bedingungen sind super (manchmal gibt es sogar italienische Lieder und es wird mitgesungen) und die gesamte Atmosphäre ist einfach total herzlich. Beste Pizzeria, ich hoffe, sie bleibt noch lange ein Geheimtipp.

Wir waren schon oft italienisch Essen,aber so gut wie in der Pizzeria allegria haben wir selten gegessen.Der Salat hatte verschiedene Salatsorten gehabt und an den Beilagen wie Käse,Schinken usw wurde nicht gespart,die Nudeln waren al dente die Soße tomatig-fruchtig und die Pizza fantastisch. Wir kommen wieder :)!
