Pizzeria Sorrento in Ingolstadt

I love this place, the service is great, the ambiance feels homey and authentic and the food is yummy. I especially love their pizzas. For me, the pizzas are the best in Ingolstadt. Another positive aspect are the prices - very affordable.

My pizza was great! 5 stars! My wife's noodles were rather unseasoned. Still good. There was a lot going on in the restaurant when we were there. That was probably the reason we had to wait 15 minutes for the drinks. The waiter also seemed more stressed to me than welcoming. The ambience is debatable, in my case it doesn't have much to do with coziness, especially since the restaurant is very loud when there are a lot of people! Hence my rating!

Thank you for a wonderful visit, Vincenzo! Everything was perfect. We were all hungry and enjoyed the delicious pizza. The pizza came with a free salad. The Diavola is definitely worth mentioning. We can't wait to come back and try the Tris di pesce. The delicious tiramisu is definitely worth mentioning! The service was super friendly and fast as lightning. Many thanks to the entire Italian team for a lovely evening! We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back soon!

Update: My post is over 11 years old again. New tenants now! Best bruschetta I've ever eaten. 6 different killer parts, amazing! Pizza Quattro, large. delicious and cheap, with side salad 10.50! Tiramisu is a dream.

Went to Sorrento today on the recommendation of our daughter... new tenant and what can I say... you just feel comfortable there. Great food, super friendly service and new ambience. Great value for money...pizzas and pasta were super tasty. Reserved a table for next time… Keep it up and ☘️🙏

Was very disappointed. Quality of food has declined greatly under the new tenants. Have previously eaten at Sorrento for over 20 years. We should say beforehand that the tenants and the kitchen have changed.

Good pizza! Apparently a new tenant and fresh paint on the wall.... I really enjoy eating here. The pizza is definitely second to none and the toppings are plentiful and of good quality! I can only recommend it. The prices aren't exactly cheap, but for the pizza you get here they're quite reasonable and not excessive! I am a very satisfied customer who will definitely come back! The atmosphere is Italian rustic and quite cozy. Feedback from me: There were some very creative pizzas on the last menu, but I'm missing something.

Were in Sorrento for the first time in a long time, as the new tenant Vincenzo is now at the start. The pizza was very good and the price-performance ratio was great. As usual, waiter Aniello is very friendly, quick and takes care of his guests' needs. We'll be happy to come back from now on!!

Update : Feb 2025 The new management has done a fantastic job. Restaurant ambience has improved a lot . Opted for takeaway . Pizza is super delicious. Very much like neopolitan pizza Opted for takeaway . Service was nice and quick. Found the pizza to be better compared to what I had in Ingolstadt

My parents have been going to this restaurant for as long as I can remember and they have never been disappointed. My husband, our son and I also like coming here. Every time the food is great and the service is impeccable. We feel completely at home here and are always happy about the delicious food. Definitely recommended :)

We asked for more takeaway food. Well, my pizza is beyond criticism! The dough is like the sole of a shoe...dry and tough, stale. the bottom was burnt, the top wasn't hot enough! The spiciness of the topping was also ummm, it wasn't exactly Italian quality! A good pizza looks completely different! Never again.

We ordered. The stated delivery time was 20-45 minutes. We waited 1.5 hours even though we even called twice! There was egg and salami in the lasagne and unfortunately it tasted completely rotten. The cream in Carbonara was totally lumpy and it was more like pasta with scrambled eggs and totally fatty bacon. The arugula on my pizza looked and tasted like it was 5 days old. The ham and salami on the pizza were totally rotten. In addition, the food arrived cold. We are very disappointed, couldn't continue eating and can absolutely not recommend the restaurant!

My worst delivery service experience in a long time. Instead of the stated 20-45 minute delivery time, we had to wait a whole 1.5 hours. After calling twice, we were always put off with "10 minutes", so we were just brushed off. We didn't even get any compensation. But when the food arrived, things didn't get any better. Pizzas were lukewarm, cheese was already dried out, arugula was wilted. The bolognese from the lasagna had "porked" and was therefore inedible and what hard-boiled eggs and salami were supposed to do in a lasagna is also a mystery to us. 0/5 stars

We ordered via Lieferando. A delivery time of 20-45 minutes is promised there. After calling several times, our food was still delivered after 1.5 hours. Pizza was cold, pasta was lukewarm and the lasagna had an egg and salami in it (salami smelled very like pork) but apart from that, which lasagna had egg and salami in it? Not recommended at all!!! Expensive and very bad food! Better go to McDonald's

Been there twice: 1st time completely satisfied. Came without a reservation, got a table straight away, fast service, wonderful food and what is very important to me: pleasantly quiet. The waiter asked us, quite astonished, where the people had gone. Sure, it was a Saturday evening during the folk festival, where every NPC - who usually goes out to eat in Sorrento - sits ass to ass in the beer tent and feeds people a kebab over the table. This surprise turned out to be a dark harbinger of my second meal. ... another ordinary Saturday evening in February, on the occasion of my birthday with a reservation. And the store was packed. Enormous audacity upon arrival: we had to wait 5-10 minutes for our table that we had reserved the day before. It doesn't work at all. No apology, just brief gestures and words from the waitress. Noise levels beyond reasonable. When we sat at the table the wait for the menu continued. Not even the order for drinks was taken after the previous lapalia. Based on the circumstances so far this evening (full shop, overwhelmed service, waiting from A to Z) you could guess that this wouldn't be a nice stay in Sorrento. So before we even waited for the menu and drinks order (which God knows when would have come), we decided to leave the restaurant. It's actually a shame about the certainly good food and otherwise attractive ambience. But certainly NOT RECOMMENDED on a Saturday evening. Order better or maybe during the week.

Waren letztes Woend kurz vor Schluss um 22uhr noch im Sorrento. Seit Jahrzenten eine der Topadresse in Ingolstadt für ital Küche. Wir wurden trotz unseres späten erscheines sehr freundlich empfangen und konnten noch Essen zum Mitnehmen bestellen, obwohl die Küche schon am Aufräumen war. Das ist Service! Danke für super leckere Pizza "Die alte 27" beste Pizza ever. Weiter so.

Essen war gut. Die Pizzen kann man wirklich empfehlen. Leider sind das Restaurant und die Toiletten etwas runtergekommen.

Das Restaurant ist sehr schön von außen und von Innen. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr schön, essen war sehr lecker, Freundliches Personal. Wir waren 3 Personen mit Großem Hunger und haben 66€ bezahlt mit Vorspeise, Hauptspeise und Trinken. Man könnte auf die Karte bei den meisten Gerichten die Inhalte drauf schreiben. Die Toiletten auch Sehr Sauber.

Die Pizza ist hier IMMER sehr gut - und die vielen verschiedenen Belagarten sehr gut abgestimmt!

Essen war sehr gut. Und der Biergarten ist klein, aber sehr schön.

Leider konnte dieser Italiener auch nach mehrmaligen Besuchen und der Wahl unterschiedlicher Gerichte nicht überzeugen. Tendenziell war die Pizza zu trocken und auch der Rand hätte etwas schmaler sein können. Das ist nat. Geschmackssache. Aber alleine die Tatsache, dass es dort einen Holzofen gibt, ist kein Garant für schmackhaftes Essen. Ein wenig überteuert noch dazu......Personal zuweilen auch nicht so aufmerksam wie erwartet.
