Yesterday we were here for the first time. The food was really very good! We had baked sheep's cheese and vitello tonnato as starters. In the Vitello Tonnato you could even taste tuna, which is not the case in other restaurants. My penne with beef steak strips and truffle sauce were also excellent and really hot, just like my husband's grill plate. Actually, we were already too full, but I had to order the tiramisu that was prepared at the table. That was worth it! I've never had it served like this before and it was absolutely delicious but really tasty. I was so fascinated that I forgot to take photos. Vitello Tonnato and Tiramisu is a MUST for me from now on! We'll probably be back there with friends at the end of the week. Finally a good Italian... We really enjoy going here now. The look of the dishes is outstanding and creative, the taste is great. We always like to come back!

The Calabrese with a new style - Due to the good advertising on social media, we drove a little further to see what the “new Calabrese” tastes like ;) Of course we were slightly biased, as it was previously absolutely one of my top 3 in the “Italian business”. You have to let go of that a little bit overall. The “new Calabrese” still offers Italian cuisine, but I would describe the restaurant more as “international”. Instead of original, Italian passion, you can now find a colorful menu with bowls, burgers, ribs, pizza and pasta at fair prices. The young staff is attentive, the cocktails are okay for the price and the dishes are tasty. All the best & much success!

Today we went to Calabrese for the first time in a long time and we were actually pleasantly surprised. We were welcomed very nicely. The lower area of ​​the guest room is barrier-free. The table is large enough for four people to sit comfortably at it with one person in a wheelchair. We were greeted with limoncello. For lunch, all pizzas cost €10. As a small greeting from the kitchen there was a small fresh tomato soup. The service staff were very friendly. The pizzas were super delicious. Huge size. Fresh ingredients. Perfect. We'd love to come back!

Dear Calabrese team, We visited you yesterday. After I had a not so nice visit with you a few years ago, I thought I would give you another chance, but unfortunately the next visit was only mediocre. Your location is very nice & it's also good that you also have an outdoor area. Your menu has a varied selection of dishes so that everyone can find something, which is also positive. The service yesterday was rather mediocre, but I think this was also due to the fact that the staff was very young and still seemed very insecure/inexperienced and was therefore very reserved. This isn't meant to be bad at all, it's more constructive that you can definitely take a look at it again (I myself worked as a waiter for years and I know that every beginning is difficult). Now I come to dinner. We ordered the antipasti plate in advance. Unfortunately we were completely disappointed with it. The plate looked like a lot at first, but then it turned out that it was buffered with a lot of rocket, which was also without dressing. The plate was prepared more like a mixed salad and therefore looked rather bland. The selection of antipasti was therefore limited & unfortunately, apart from the peppers, the vegetables didn't taste like anything & the classic Italian antipasti variety and attention to detail were somewhat lacking. Rich balsamic vinegar, even if that is the standard, it would have been nicer to make Italian herbs with olive oil and garlic over the tomato morzarella. The bread beforehand and the dip that went with it were good. Now to the main course. We ordered tortelinis in Gorgonzola sauce + extra steak strips. They tasted good and there were plenty of steak strips, but the dish was far too expensive because it was just simple tortelini. We also had the tortelini with tomato feta sauce. They were okay. The sauce wasn't great, but it was good to eat. However, the price-performance ratio is not right here either. In terms of portion sizes, everything was great. We didn't eat dessert. Overall it was just too expensive for what you got. I completely understand that the prices need to be raised, but another visit is too expensive for us for the type of cuisine.

Der Ober (Andrea?) war sowas von kompetent und aufmerksam, findet man nicht immer in der Gastronomie. Ach ja, noch etwas: das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis war sowas von stimmig, da kommen wir doch gerne wieder.

Turned out beautifully after the renovation. Bright, friendly and modern. The menu is not quite typical Italian with burgers. We had pasta and pizza - both very tasty - and before that very tasty fresh bread with dip. I was missing a good risotto on the menu. What I was annoyed about was that the bottle of still water I ordered came already opened in a bottle labeled “sparkling”. So definitely tap water. And therefore outrageous - even if (according to the answer) the water is treated. Even half of that (i.e. 3.50 euros) would be enough! I was there again in the evening last week and tried the veggie burger with dollar chips: unfortunately it was an absolute failure across the board. So I adjusted my stars. I probably won't come back any time soon.

A really great service, only nice and competent young ladies (that evening). We were 9 people. The starter and main course came at the same time. In only one dish the meat wasn't hot, which was remedied immediately, and we missed a little more spinach in the pasta dish with salmon and spinach, which was too poor.

Unpleasant experience. Four people went to the restaurant for lunch on Easter Monday. The assigned table was not clean and the menus were wet and dirty. We had a total of 4 waitresses and everything seemed a bit disorganized and unprofessional. A waitress was wearing dirty pants. That didn't make a good impression on us either. When ordering the dishes, when asked whether there would be salad with a meat dish, the answer was succinctly that there were some greens. After a short while the drinks arrived. Out of 4 drinks, one drink was wrong, instead of a Sprite there was a Cola, which was quickly exchanged. In the meantime, bread with a dip came to the table. The bread was hard on one side and totally dry and had been on the way for a while or was used again as leftover from Easter brunch. The bowl in which the dip was served had some stains on both the inside and outside, like coffee residue or something similar, but it was unbelievable to be served something like that. The waiter was called and asked to please bring the contents in a clean bowl. We didn't see this waiter or the dip at our table again. About 45 minutes after we ordered, we asked about our food because guests at the neighboring tables were already being served, even though they came later. After almost an hour the main courses arrived. Of the 3 pizzas, 2 were undercooked. A pizza was baked again and brought again. With another pizza it was only noticed a little later and it was complained about later. The grilled chicken was also only lukewarm and really not well prepared. In the meantime we were a bit desperate because such poor service and such poor kitchen performance couldn't really be possible and it was unpleasant to have to complain about something again and again. In the end, the boss was at our table several times and tried to save something. We were then offered to leave and we chose this option in the end because our complaint was ultimately received in a less than self-critical and hospitable manner. Since there was similar dissatisfaction at the table next door, it was obviously the wrong day to eat there. They had obviously gone overboard with the Easter brunch and subsequent lunch and perhaps also tried to use up leftovers. There wasn't that much going on and the mistakes could all have been easily avoided. The ambience is actually quite nice, but the remains of the masking from the last coat of paint are still hanging in the guest room and the radiator in the men's toilet is completely rusted. From these things alone you can see that no detail is attached to order and hygiene. We will not visit the restaurant again. Unfortunately it wasn't a nice experience, but they didn't charge any money for the lack of service.

Today I had dinner with a large group of people at the Calabrese restaurant. After the friendly welcome, we were brought to the table by the extremely friendly and attentive Julie. Drinks and food were very good. For me there was penne with beef in a completely sufficient size and of very good quality for 18€. Unfortunately, prices have now become completely normal at the lower end of the scale. Italian café, an obviously homemade mango-passion fruit lemonade for €5.90 and at the end a full to the brim and good pina colada for €7.50. I'm definitely not an easy guest, I always have extra requests and am always in the mood for casual sayings and love it when the staff can deal with them in a relaxed manner. I end up paying a decent tip for that and it was all worth it to Julie! The restaurant has developed extremely well and there is a lot of staff dedicated to looking after the guests. I can highly recommend it.

We had to wait over an hour for our food, even though the shop wasn't full and we had reserved in advance. When the portions came, I really thought it was a joke. 1 slice of cheese, a spoonful of yogurt, 2 slices of bacon and 1 bite of scrambled eggs for 18.90 - really now? It should still be warm Serve food at the buffet. The buffet consisted of 4 warm containers with lasagne, neck meat, potatoes and vegetables. For breakfast, really now? The crepe station for the children was great, if you hadn't waited almost 30 minutes for 2 crepes it would have been almost good. Sorry guys, but that was really a rip-off and a real joke event. Disappointing experience: No recommendation After ordering online and enjoying it at home, all I'm left with is a disappointed taste. We ordered a burger, cheese fries and penne with steak strips. The burger turned out to be the most boring and worst I've tried in a long time. The penne was also disappointingly neutral in taste and everything was incredibly expensive. Based on this experience, I will certainly not order there again.

A shrug and the comment "Oh, the Brucettas weren't brought" was the only excuse One of us didn't get the pizza we ordered as a main course either. Apparently forgotten too. The pizza was served about 10 minutes later, but we actually wanted to eat together. The other main courses tasted so-so and unfortunately were only lukewarm. I have such a suspicion. More reservations have been accepted than the kitchen can handle. Service employees walked around enough. Sad for a cozy evening at an Italian restaurant. If you offer mediocre food and, at best, adequate service, you should at least respond professionally to the guest's criticism. Not even a dessert or a grappa was offered. Apparently they were happy that we paid and left. So the table could perhaps be given away a second time that evening. Our summary: Calabrese Bad Bramstedt - never again. And always remember......... Bad news spreads faster than you think.

Der Chef Koch verwenden die besten Qualitätszutaten, um Gerichte zuzubereiten, die einfach köstlich sind.

Hervorragender Service, sehr leckeres Essen und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist ebenfalls top! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.und können dieses Restaurant nur empfehlen.

Sehr freundlicher und zuvorkommender Service und hervorragendes Essen. Auch die Präsentation der Gerichte war überdurchschnittlich.

Wir waren als Gruppe mit insgesamt 11 Personen im Restaurant. Es war Freitagabend und waren angemeldet und hatten einen reservierten, langen Tisch Plus: Das Restaurant macht einen sehr angenehmen und freundlichen Eindruck, es bietet ein sehr gemütliches Ambiente und die Servicekräfte sind ausgesprochen freundlich. Es gab zur Begrüßung einen Limoncello und als "Gruß" aus der Küche" Brotscheiben mit Knoblauchcreme. Die Hauptspeisen waren allesamt optisch sehr schön angerichtet und geschmacklich meist lecker zubereitet. Minus: Zwischen Bestellung der Getränke bis zum Bringen an den Tisch vergingen ca. 15 Minuten, wir waren schon kurz davor nachzufragen, ob sie unsere Getränke vergessen haben. Inzwischen war der Gruß aus der Küche vertilgt und wir hatten schon mit dem Hauptessen gerechnet, bis endlich die Getränke kamen. Die Speisen waren zu einem großen Teil nur unangenehm lauwarm, die Pizzen hatten einen recht trockenen, harten Teig und Rand, die Pommes waren alles andere als knusprig und das "medium" bestellte Steak war "durch". Das als Nachtisch bestellte Eis mit Sahne kam ohne Sahne. Fazit: Möglicherweise war die Küche und der Service überfordert mit den vielen Gästen. Das Restaurant war voll, aber offensichtlich auch auf die Anzahl der Gäste ausgelegt. Es war schade, dass der positive Gesamteindruck dann durch das Essen doch einigermaßen enttäuscht wurde. Wären die Getränke kurz nach der Bestellung gekommen, das Essen heiß, die Pommes knusprig, der Pizzateig fluffig und das Steak wie bestellt "medium" gewesen, wäre alles perfekt gewesen. Einige Wochen vorher hatten wir schon einmal den Lieferservice genutzt und nehrere Pizzen bestellt, die aber alle die gleiche harte Konsistenz aufgewiesen haben, wie wir das heute auch wieder erlebt haben. So gesehen wird das Restaurant für künftige Besuche nicht unsere erste Wahl sein.

Beste Burger in der Umgebung! Tolles Ambiente und sehr nettes Personal, besonders an der Bar :)

War - glaube ich, ein schlechter Tag um dort zu speisen. Die Food Fellas waren am 29.12.2023 dort. Aufgrund der guten Rezessionen freuten wir uns sehr auf den Abend! Wartezeit Getränke: 30 Minuten Vorspeise Scampi Pfanne (3 scampis, klein für €14,90) und Bruschetta Hauptgang: Pizza Diavolo, Pizza Prosciotto e funghi und Tortellini ( die waren sehr al dente) Der Service war gut, Danke dafür

Ich bin heute durch Zufall auf das Restaurant gestoßen und war echt begeistert. Eine Mega Spaghetti Bolognese und eine sehr leckere Tiramisu als Nachtisch. Als Service und Gruß des Hauses habe ich eine Minestrone, Limocelli und Espresso bekommen. Selten so lecker gegessen und so toll vom netten Service bedient worden. Echt empfehlenswert. Ich komme garantiert wieder.

Weihnachten 2024 mit Familie dort gegessen. Service top, alle Speisen überragend lecker, vom Fleischgericht über Pasta bis zum Espresso und Grappa ! Wir kommen gerne wieder!
