From the first appetizer began a journey that exceeded our wildest expectations. The antipasti? Pure perfection on a plate. It was as if the flavors of the Mediterranean world had come together in a symphony of pleasures. And then came the pizza... Oh, that pizza! It was like dining right in the heart of Naples - but better! Every pizza that reached the table was greeted with awe and we just couldn't get enough of it. It might as well have been made from stardust, so infinitely light and creamy. Each spoonful was like a hug from the universe itself. But that's not all: the service at Pizzeria Solino is from another planet. Friendly, attentive, humorous – all with a group of ten people reveling in culinary ecstasy! It was as if the staff had the rare gift of mind reading because before we could even think about whether we needed anything else, it was already there. Conclusion? My boyfriend and I are regulars. Toni and his wife literally work magic in the kitchen. The wood-fired pizza is an absolute culinary delight and you can taste the fresh ingredients and spices. The price is unbeatable. The terrace is wonderful, especially in the evening and it is also very cozy inside. We're already talking on Wednesday about whether we should go again at the weekend. We look forward to every visit with the Caputo family. We hope you never get tired and stay with us for a long time.

Very tasty, large, well-topped pizzas at very reasonable prices. The Ulm gastronomy can learn a lot from this. The leftovers (see picture) are also very tasty the next day. Always my pleasure.

My pizza was good. Service on the terrace (young man) was a bit slow and seemed slightly overwhelmed. I asked if I could sit at a table outside and was told: I don't know, it'll be fine. I am aware that there is a staff shortage in the catering industry, but a little more enthusiasm would be desirable. After I got my pizza I didn't have any cutlery, the waitress wanted to bring me some and first served drinks for other tables. I got the cutlery myself otherwise my food would have gotten cold. Then there was a long dark hair in my wine which I unfortunately only noticed after the third sip :-( disgusting I got a new glass but no “sorry” or anything like that from the waitress. It's a shame I probably had a bad day, but it doesn't leave a good impression either. Addendum regarding response from the owner: It was almost clear to me that no criticism was wanted/accepted and then threatened to contact the legal department; but no problem just. His answer was (how do you say) defiant like a toddler and disrespectful to the paying guest. Criticism from other guests is not tolerated. As an owner, you should accept something like this, learn from it and apologize to the guest. The way I wrote it was and is not unfriendly.

The outside area is large and somewhat simply laid out. Mostly busy, reservation necessary, service friendly, pizza is okay, well filled, a bit small. Prices are in the upper range, just about reasonable.

We didn't get there until 9:30 p.m., we received a very friendly welcome and it was no problem at all to get something to eat. We ate very good real Italian pizza and the price-performance ratio was really great. So we would love to come back. A clear recommendation

To be able to describe you have to come to this place, we came across it during our trip around Germany 🇩🇪.... what can I say managed by Italians, they know how to make you feel at home, not to mention the prices, still as I remember it in Italy some year ago excellent pizza, I was able to enjoy a solo, the house pizza...spectacular, super dough with traditional leavening, seasoning as I like... The owner (Tony) really pampered us…. Too bad it's so far from where we come from, otherwise it could have become our usual restaurant.. I hope I can be useful to all those travelers who seek tradition and quality as the first ingredient….

We reserved a table inside the day before because we were expecting a thunderstorm that evening. Since the storm actually happened, there was no more room in the restaurant, even though we had specifically reserved it for inside. To the answer from the pizzeria: Yes, that's right, alternatives were suggested to us. However, in one of these alternatives it was raining heavily on one side and the other alternative was in the hallway near the toilets. Since we had even made a reservation, we expected more and were very disappointed. That is the reason why we wrote this review.

The day before, due to the weather situation, we decided to reserve a table inside. On site we discovered that all the seats were occupied and we were rudely offered an alternative table in front of the door. We should set this up like auxiliary staff according to instructions. (It was raining there and while we were discussing it, it was offered to the next group) I can't rate the food, ambience and service due to the dire reservation situation.

We have been coming to Pizzeria Solino for years and are thrilled every time! 🍕 The quality of the food always remains the same, which keeps us coming back again and again. The wood-fired pizza is a real treat - crispy, perfectly baked and topped with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The pizzeria is family-run, which you can feel in the warm atmosphere and attention to detail. The idyllic outdoor seating invites you to enjoy your meal outdoors, and the child-friendly environment with an adjacent playground makes the visit particularly pleasant for families. Another highlight is the excellent tiramisu, which rounds off the evening perfectly. The pizza is of very high quality and remains consistently at this high level. The prices are fair and reasonable for the quality offered, which makes the overall experience even better. Overall, a wonderful place to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine. We definitely enjoy coming back again and again and can warmly recommend Pizzeria Solino to everyone!

I stopped here on the way through and ate a Frutti du Mare pizza. The pizza was very well topped and yet the dough was stable, which means you can cut the pizza into pieces of cake and bring it to your mouth without the dough sagging. This is exactly what a very good pizza looks like and it tasted just as good. The atmosphere in the beer garden is also pleasant with a view of the hotel's own children's playground, which was well frequented during my stay. The tiramisu was also a real treat, highly recommended. Really a very nice, beautifully located pizzeria with first-class food, the negative reviews were definitely written by half-idiots with an upward bias.

Absolutely unfriendly and unprofessional service. As guests, we were personally insulted (!) because we asked whether we could order food with the drinks. We'd all simply already chosen what we were going to eat... I'll spare the reader the choice of words for below-the-belt insults at this point.

Really delicious pizza and nice public viewing! Unfortunately the innkeeper didn't manage to separate his personal mood from the service work. We were hit on several times for no apparent reason. A real shame...

The food was ok, the service was very bad. We were a larger group (approx. 14 people), which probably overwhelmed the owner. When we asked about the drinks, we were answered very cheekily and our orders and questions were met with extremely rude comments. We said goodbye with “you don’t need to come back next year”. We are of course very happy to comply with the owner's wishes. We wanted to share a pizza, the bill said €1.50 for a separate plate without prior notice. Since we received the pizza on a plate, I complained about this. This was then commented on again and I was made to feel stupid. Bottom line, not recommended.

Absolute recommendation! Very tasty and super friendly! And as the icing on the cake, be sure to try the tiramisu!

Fast and friendly service on Saturday, the boss was also really nice and took the time to chat! Super tasty pizza, base perfectly right, salad varied and better than in many other pizzerias where we have eaten so far. Disgraceful boss. Went for a walk together (on April 28, 2024) with my husband and our dog and spontaneously decided to go to Solino, called beforehand and were actually very welcome...when we arrived we were accused of being stressful for him, even though we just sat down at a table outside and asked when we could order...That's absurd. They were then insulted and thrown out in front of everyone sitting there. The boss should take an example from the Chinese restaurant where we went afterwards and where we were warmly welcomed. Don't recommend to anyone...

The food was fantastic. Probably the best rigatoni al forno and one of the best tiramisus I have ever eaten. Service was also great, super nice and super personable. The dining room is fine, nothing special but definitely okay. If I hadn't had to use the toilet shortly before departure, the rating would have been better. Of course I can only rate the men's toilet. Not so great in terms of space. But well, as a tenant your hands are pretty much tied, so I don't rate it. However, the sanitary facilities need to be renewed. And the big minus was the cleanliness there. This should be better, especially considering how great the food and service is. I'll definitely go there more often, but I'll save myself a trip to the toilet.

The food and service were great, we will definitely come back and can only recommend it. We were looking for a table for 10 people on Saturday evening at 9:00 p.m. after the team sport. After we were turned away from most of the places, we were warmly welcomed at Solino. Big plus, keep it up.

We meet monthly for regular meetings. The atmosphere is always very pleasant and the staff are always very friendly and accommodating. The pizzas are exactly what you would expect from a good wood-fired pizza. If you prefer a vegetarian option, an XXL salad plate is ideal, see picture. The prices are moderate. All in all highly recommended. We are already looking forward to our next get-together evening.

I highly recommend this restaurant! We ate pizza and were all very happy because it tasted fantastic. The service was also very attentive and friendly. Special requests will be accommodated. The restaurant is also very child-friendly. There is a small selection of children's meals on the menu. There was a lollipop to say goodbye - of course our child was very happy :-) Overall, the price-performance ratio is definitely right. The restaurant is located at the sports field and has a small, beautiful outdoor area and a fenced-in playground. We will be back definitely.

Für mich die beste Pizza in der Umgebung. Super freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal... gemütliches Ambiente direkt am Sportplatz mit Außenbereich und Spielplatz. Pizza und Pasta sind sehr lecker. Macht weiter so...bon Appetit

Sehr netter Wirt, sehr nette Atmosphäre und das Tiramisu ohne Alkohol ist göttlich -meraviglioso!

Freakshow vom Feinsten. Abgesehen von dem unverschämten Wirt: Getränke abgestanden, angeblich keine sauberen kleinen Gläser... Vorspeisen kommen nicht zusammen auf den Tisch, sondern um eine halbe Stunde verzögert und erst nach Nachfragen. Die Pizzen ließen über anderthalb Stunden auf sich warten.. Null Timing, null Organisation und dann noch ein psychisch auffälliger Wirt, der Gäste anschreit und aus dem Loksl wirft, weil diese sich nach der Wartezeit erkundigen.. So etwas hat man noch nicht erlebt!

Die Pizza war echt in Ordnung, aber wir hatten ebenfalls Nudeln bestellt. Diese waren ungenießbar! Die Nudeln haben leicht säuerlich geschmeckt, die Soße ebenfalls, es roch bereits etwas drüber und bei der Bolognese waren insgesamt 5 mini Fleischspuren zu finden. Insgesamt waren wir enttäuscht und mussten danach noch bei einer Fastfoodkettr vorbei um unseren Hunger zu befriedigen…

Leider enttäuschend,bei einer Pizza kann man nicht viel falsch machen und war auch lecker. Salat etwas welk..Antpasti trocken . Wir haben draußen gesessen. Die beste Pizza, die ich bisher gegessen habe, bei sehr netten Menschen, die uns sofort herzlich willkommen geheißen haben. Wir sind auf der Durchreise und werden für das Essen ganz sicher nochmal zurück kommen.

Leider eine große Enttäuschung. Die Cola ging zurück, weil sie abgestanden schmeckte und keine Kohlensäure mehr hatte. Die Flasche muss schon tagelang offen gestanden haben. Die Antipasti waren lauwarme Tiefkühlgemüse (für 12 Euro) und das Bruschetta getoastetes Aufbackbaguette. Die Pizza war noch roh, der Käse kaum zerlaufen, und so wenig Belag wie auf dieser haben wir noch nirgends bekommen. Die Preise sind höher als in Ulm, wo man deutlich preiswerter und besser essen kann. Schade.

Top Qualität und Top service.!! Immer frisches und leckeres Essen! Verstehe nicht die dumme Kommentare von wegen schlechter Service lange Wartezeiten. Dann kauft doch Pizza vom Lidl Aldi und ect. Geht schnell, guter service guter Käse kurze warte Zeiten! Oder macht eigene Restaurants oder Pizzerias auf und zeigt wie es richtig geht!!! Mann soll froh und dankbar sein dass wenn man ohne Reservierung kommt überhaupt noch Platz und das leckere Essen bekommt!! Hört nicht auf diese (unzufriedene mit ihrem eigenem Leben Menschen Kommentare) geht hin und probiert es aus! Bildet euch eigene Meinung! Toller Biergarten mit einem tollen Spielplatz, tolles Essen! Super Service! Familienfreundlich! Top Qualität! Ps. An alle Menschen die hier sich negativ äußern: bevor ihr irgend einen misst schreibt analysiert bitte ihr Verhalten gegenüber den Servicekräften und dem Koch. Update 2022: Service ist immer noch komplett konfus! Aussenbereich etwas mehr als halb voll, innen niemand. Bedienung nimmt Bestellung auf, Getränke kommen recht fix, auf die Pizzen warten wir eine geschlagene dreiviertel Stunde (!) und dann kommen die nicht gemeinsam sondern die letzte als die erste kalt war... Lässt sich mit "Personalmangel" kaum entschuldigen. Das abkassieren macht der Chef persönlich (wie seine Mutter im Stammlokal) Waren früher mal dort, Service total konfus, Essen kamen weit auseinander (der erste war beinah fertig als das letzte ankam). Hatten uns dann Pizzen geholt, waren mal leckerer, hat qualitativ leider echt nachgelassen. Dazu: Wirbt auf einer Seite mit "Lieferung", stellt man eine Anfrage via Kontaktformular dazu bekommt man Tage(!) später eine patzige Antwort... Sorry, aber SO heilig ist er dann nicht als das man sich dies gefallen lassen müsste Wir gehen wieder dort hin wo er mal her kam!

Hallo, wir waren auf dem Wohnmobilstellplatz keine 100 Meter von der Pizzeria entfernt. Wir wollten gegen 20 Uhr in der Pizzeria Essen gehen. Mehrere Tische waren auch noch frei. Auf Nachfrage ob wir noch einen Platz bekommen können, wurde uns gesagt, dass alles voll sei. Wir wurden weggeschickt. Als wir eine halbe Stunde mit Döner die wir in der Stadt geholt haben wieder vorbei kamen war die halbe Pizzeria leer. Ich denke die wollten um 21 Uhr Feierabend. Übrigens der Döner war sehr lecker. Schade, so geht man nicht mit Gästen um.

Wenn der Service nicht so nett und zuvorkommend gewesen wäre, hätte ich gar keinen Punkt gegeben. Leider war das Essen absolut nicht der Hit und man musste ewig darauf warten, obwohl das Restaurant nicht überfüllt war.

Ich bin öfters dort und es ist immer sehr gut besucht, an stoßzeiten das man länger auf qualitatives gutes Gericht mal länger vor einem vollem restaurant wartet ist eigentlich normal.. bei jetzigen Personal Mangel sollte man froh sein das überhaupt jemand noch Wirtschaftet.. Bin immer top zufrieden und verstehe diese Nörgler absolut nicht.. Macht weiter so Solino Team..

Essen oke, Service nee. Personal schien komplett überfordert, von mehreren Tischen musste der Bedienung hinterher gerufen werden, weil sie absolut keinen Überblick hatte. Wartezeiten für Getränke und Essen waren ehrlich unterirdisch, leider war dann auch die Qualität von Pizza und Pasta nur Durchschnitt. Schade, werden wohl leider nicht wieder kommen.

Wir haben noch nie so eine gute Pizza gegessen. Personal sehr sehr freundlich. Waren auf der Durchreise. Haben die Empfehlungen von 2 jungen Pärchen bekommen die wir am Wegesrand angesprochen haben.

Pizza war ok, aber nichts besonderes. Die Oliven sahen so aus wie von Aldi (und schmeckten auch so).

Gute Pizza, schöner ruhiger Außenbereich mit Kinderspielplatz in Sichtweite.

Sehr nettes Ambiente und super nette Bedienung. Hatte ein Knoblauch Pizza. Beste die ich bisher gegessen habe. Hätte gleich eine zweite bestellen sollen da sie so gut geschmeckt hat. Kann ich nur jedem empfehlen. Macht bitte weiter so 🙂

Freundlich, und es war alles Sauber. Jedoch haben uns die Pasta nicht geschmeckt. Salatteller war okay. ( 6 Euro) Preise haben sich der aktuellen Lage angepasst. Nochmals Punkte Abzug. Hunde nicht erlaubt. Ohne Hund nun auch ohne uns.
