Pizzeria Romano in Mülheim an der Ruhr

Two months ago, the pizza here was truly amazing – delicious, with good salami piccante, and overall very satisfying. So we ordered again today: two pizzas called Diavola. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. No salami piccante, instead it was very greasy, with a very salty topping, and significantly inferior cheese than before. The taste was incomparable – we couldn't even eat half. It's a shame the quality has dropped so drastically. We probably won't be ordering again anytime soon.

I ordered two pizzas there and unfortunately one of them had the wrong toppings, but that wasn't a problem at all because after I called, a new one was brought straight away and it tasted really good (unfortunately it had salami on it and I'm a vegetarian)

Looking for a new pizzeria, ordered from Romano for the first time today and absolutely satisfied! The pizzas are large, the dough is super tasty, fruity tomato sauce, well topped and not dripping with fat, as is often the case elsewhere. Plus the best pizza rolls and herb butter I've had in a long time! Delivery time was stated as 40 minutes, the driver was there after 25 minutes. We will definitely order again!

It's just not a place to eat. But there's a real person at the oven. A friendly, open-minded guy like that is missing on every corner. I love this pizza!

Updated after ordering this weekend: The pizza is absolutely great and “bomb”! Nice boss on the phone and super-fast delivery! Ingredients fresh and really high quality as well as the best tomato sauce in all of Mülheim. We are thrilled! Otherwise you have to go to Düsseldorf for a pizza like this! And they can't do any better there. Dear team "Romano", you saved our weekend!!! Simply recommended!!! And very fast delivery, with the pizza still steaming.

The food (spagettino carbonara and Bolognese) was very tasty, but the quantity was a bit small for the price. The service was quite nice, but despite the lack of customers, it was overwhelmed or busy with other things. The ambience was really very nice. Parking is not available directly, only on side streets.

Just looked for a new pizzeria and found it straight away and fell in love 😁 It's a shame that they are currently short of staff. Would like to try other dishes ☺️

Bei Romano gibt es die beste Pizza in NRW. Große Pizzen mit super dünnen, luftigem Teig. Lecker und geschmackvoll Belegt mit knusprigen Rand. Er schmeißt den Laden alleine und macht alles in in eigener Herstellung mit Leidenschaft. Im Steinofen gebacken zu absolut fairen Preisen. Momentan gibt es leider keinen Lieferdienst aber gute Parkmöglichkeiten in der Nebenstrasse also immer einen kurzen Stop wert. Ihr werdet es lieben!

Wir waren zu Gast in der Stadt. Die meisten Gaststätten hatten Ruhetag. Hier wurden wir herzlich empfangen. Der Chef persönlich betreibt die Pizzeria. Er ist ein sehr guter und erfahrener Pizzabäcker, der sein Handwek versteht. Auch die Nudeln wurden frisch zubereitet. Alles war sehr lecker. Wir haben ein perfektes Abendessen und auch Cola und Wein mitgenommen. Sehr sehr empfehlenswert. Danke für alles.

Sehr sehr leckere Pizza und netter Chef. War vor Monaten öfter da muss ich jetzt wieder nachholen. Pizza schmeckt wie eine Pizza schmecken soll vor allem nicht billig wie bei sovielen Pizzerien.

Freundlicher Eigentümer. Alle Essen schmecken Super und der Preis ist immer noch günstig trotz Inflation die hier nicht stattgefunden hat. Durch Personalmangel längere Wartezeit und kein Lieferservice. Aber durch die Qualität würde ich Barfuß durch die Wüste laufen :-)

Leckere Pizza! Drinnen gibt es zwar einen Tisch jedoch kann man die Pizzen besser mitnehmen.

Super leckere Pizza, wirklich empfehlenswert. Authentische italienische Pizzerien sind heutzutage eine Seltenheit. Die Nudeln waren auch hervorragend, ebenfalls das Tiramisu.

Wir haben heute für eine große Party verschiedene Gerichte bestellt und ausnahmslos alles war absolut spitzenklasse😋. Alle Gäste waren total begeistert und das Tiramisu war der Oberhammer. Eine kleine Pizzeria, in der man aber echte italienische Pizza bekommt. Nicht wie bei fast allen anderen in Mülheim in einem Blech gebacken, sondern wirklich im Steinofen mit frischen Zutaten. EInfach hervorragend und der Chef und scheinbar auch einzige Mitarbeiter ist zudem sehr nett. Nur zu empfehlen!

Ich muss ganz klar sagen, dass das die beste Pizzeria im Umkreis ist die ich finden konnte. Ein Italiener mit Ehre. Hier geht nur gutes Essen raus. Eine klare Empfehlung. Übrigens die Lasagne ist sehr lecker 🤩
