I have to start by saying that the food is delicious. The meat? The taste? Incomparable. The enjoyment and the way the food melts in your mouth? Indescribable. The bread is also perfect, as always. Between nice and soft and crispy. The service is impeccable. Every time, no matter when, no matter who. Always greeted with a smile, you feel warmly welcomed. There's enough seating for groups of all sizes. Highly recommended overall. The best kebab shop with the best service and the best meat.

My kebab dealer, Hermis Grill, is unfortunately on vacation. So I'll try this one. The kebab was a bit more expensive at €6.90 and a bit smaller. Unfortunately, the taste was also worse, with far too much cabbage and no extra sauce like at Hermis. It's all a matter of taste, of course. All the best 👍

I've been to many kebab shops, but Kumru Ana is in a league of its own. The meat is always fresh, perfectly seasoned, and grilled to perfection – crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. The bread? Homemade and fluffy with a wonderfully crispy crust. The sauces? Homemade, and each one a delight in its own right – the garlic sauce is especially delicious! What I particularly like: The ingredients are fresh and crispy, and the vegetables are visibly prepared daily. Whether it's a classic kebab, a durum, or a vegetarian dish – everything here tastes great! And the portions are more than fair for the price. Add to that the super friendly team, who are always in a good mood and make you feel welcome. You can just tell they work with passion. I'd happily drive out of my way just to eat here. If you're into cheese goals, then the cheese Kumru menu at Kumru Ana is an absolute must-try: melted cheese + fresh vegetables + fluffy bread + perfect fries. A little bit of Izmir feeling in Berlin, with lots of cheese love – casual, filling, happy.

The meat was truly top-notch – juicy, well-seasoned, and more flavorful than at many other kebab shops. The salad was also fresh and crispy, which made the whole experience very harmonious. The small kebab came in a classic bread roll, which was nice and crispy – exactly what you'd want. The large kebab, on the other hand, used half a flatbread, which I personally found too thick and unfortunately a bit too dry. The sauce quickly made the bread soggy on the bottom, making the meal a bit unwieldy. What irritated me most, however, was the value for money: The small 450g kebab costs €7, while the large 539g kebab costs a whopping €12. For just under 90g more, I don't think the €5 surcharge is justified. In my opinion, either the portion should be larger or the price should be adjusted. Overall, a good kebab shop with strong meat and fresh ingredients – there's still room for improvement when it comes to bread and pricing.

If I didn't live nearby, I'd even drive here to get such a delicious kebab. But that's not all. This shop is like a family. When you get to know the people behind the counter, you practically become part of the family. Of course, the owners and employees in shops are often friendly and nice, but KumruAna takes it to the next level. If you're new, you'll feel very welcome. If you've been there before, they remember you and talk to you (happily and for a long time), but on a personal level and not in a commercial or buyer/seller way, but most importantly, on a human level. I can't say enough about how much I enjoy going there, even without buying anything, because I'm treated like a human being. If you're just there to talk, you can watch people of all ages walk past this store or buy something, and the personal greeting from this family brings a smile to your face.
