Ali Baba‘s Döner Kebab in Mülheim an der Ruhr

After I heard that steak kebab was offered there on the weekends (Saturdays and Sundays), I became curious. So I went there on a Saturday afternoon. When I got there I ordered a "steak kebab" bag with just onions, green salad and some white cabbage salad, (without any sauces, ugh) kebab meat seasoned with just black pepper. After that it was a “TASTE EXPERIENCE” 😇😇😇. No idea if the meat was really made from steaks but by far the best kebab I've eaten recently. I would recommend trying exactly what I ordered. And would be curious about “feedback”. I also have to positively mention the 2 boys (very polite, friendly despite the stress and rush to the door)👍👍👍. I hope everything stays that way.

Unfortunately, I realized too late that I didn't have any money with me. I wanted to pay by credit card at this store, but that wasn't possible. Mr. Bashet was so kind and correct and said that I should pay this next time. However, since I came from Hamburg and told him that I probably wouldn't come back, he said that he believed in the good in people! All around, TOP kebab, great taste and great service! Again and again!

Best kebab shop in town. The kebabs are super tasty for a good price. In addition, the kebabs are never too small, you will always be full. I also think it's really good that most of the sauces are homemade, especially the hot sauce is really good. The service is always great and overall it's worth 5/5 stars.

I recently visited Alibabas in Mülheim and was absolutely thrilled! The selection of fresh ingredients was impressive, and the kebab itself was perfectly seasoned. The meat was tender and juicy, and the sauces were simply delicious. The staff was friendly and quick, so I didn't have to wait long. The atmosphere in the store is pleasant and inviting. I can highly recommend this kebab shop!

They put chicken skin in the kebab as if it was real meat, which is misleading and ruins the quality. The taste is fatty and unpleasant. Also, the portions are small, and the staff was indifferent when I pointed this out. I will not eat here again and cannot recommend it to anyone looking for good quality food. It used to be a good kebab shop when the older owners were still there and the shop was still called City Grill. Since the store was renovated and the name changed to Alibaba and younger employees were serving customers there, the service has gone completely down the drain! Prices were increased; Children's kebab was abolished and I often received burnt and crusty meat, as a regular customer! My whole family were regular customers there. The last thing was when they gave me a kebab without even warming up the kebab bread, that was the final straw for me! The kebab bread is raw and has to be warmed up to be edible. I'll never go there again!

During my last visit to the city I came across the kebab shop "Ali Baba's Doner Kebab" and was pleasantly surprised. The kebab was fresh and delicious, with perfectly seasoned meat and crisp salad. The portions were generous and the sauces, especially the homemade garlic sauce, were to die for.

So if this is Mülheim's best kebab restaurant, then I sincerely feel sorry for Mülheim. Anyone who likes large amounts of taste-free meat will get their money's worth here. However, the taste was a bitter disappointment. It just doesn't taste like anything. Garlic sauce, seems to be a product from the bucket, which tastes very little of artificial garlic. The hot sauce was something indefinable that wasn't spicy in any way. The sauce was spread or rubbed into an already flabby kebab pocket before filling the kebab, which made the whole thing really soggy. Thank God I hadn't read the good reviews beforehand, otherwise I would have been even more disappointed.

You can only give 5 stars here. In my opinion the best kebab in Mülheim and perhaps beyond. It should be emphasized that there is real veal on a skewer here and not cheap minced meat kebab. Coupled with the always friendly staff, the selection of super delicious sauces and everything absolutely fresh, an absolute recommendation!!

Here the service is almost better than the food. Were from Hamburg for a weekend and had something to eat here. The reception was as if you were a regular customer who had come back. In addition, the great food makes it a well-deserved 5 stars. Keep it up guys.

Unfortunately I can't say it was as good as I expected. The service was quick and the staff was very friendly. I liked everything until I tried the Dürum with veal. The price is 6.50. The size is just amazing, it is very large and has a lot of filling. No meat is definitely spared here. But the taste of the whole thing wasn't that good. I was very hungry and ate only the quantity, not the quality. I only give high marks to the good staff and the size of Dürum, but definitely not its taste.

Bester Döner in Mülheim! Ich war heute das erste mal dort und war wirklich sehr begeistert vom Döner da das Fleisch kein Hackfleisch ist sonder frisch zubereitet wurde.Es gibt einen extra Bereich zum verzehr daher ist es auch sehr angenehm dort zu essen. Der Service stimmt genau so sehr und daher werde ich definitiv nochmals kommen.
