Pizzeria Ristorante Rossini in Schwandorf

There's nothing to complain about here. The food was extremely fresh and good. Price/performance ratio ok. Staff very nice and attentive. Everything is going great "pronto" We were spontaneously there on Saturday evening (without reservation). An attempt was made immediately to organize a place despite the full restaurant.

Great service. We were asked again and again whether everything fit and whether we were satisfied. Food was also delicious. Starter very rich. Delicious. The restaurant was very busy. how come again. Next time we'll try pasta.

I met a good friend for dinner. The menu was very extensive and it took me some time to find the right one, but it tasted great. Service is top notch and the price/performance ratio is absolutely fine. I was very satisfied.

Today I ordered a Margherita pizza because I don't really like overloaded pizzas. A simple Margherita is perfect, especially with fresh basil and oregano. Unfortunately, this time I couldn't taste either one, and the basil wasn't even visible. That was disappointing. I still give it 4 stars because I have already eaten a very good Margherita in your restaurant. It would be great if you could deliver the same quality that I have come to expect from you.

The food was ok, but the waitresses weren't really nice: A waitress had pulled my plate away from the table to take it with me, but my smartphone was lying next to the plate, which he pushed with me. I would have noticed that and pulled my cell phone away because it was already half pushed down from the table. He saw that but he didn't seem to care because he didn't apologize. Then I thought to myself, can't we just be careful? The waitresses didn't agree anything and forgot a lot of things, which meant you had to ask several times. Some plates were made of plastic and the knives were no longer sharp at all. I won't go there anymore...

First of all, the positive: Our spot next to the fountain and beautifully planted flower pots in the town of Schwandorf wasn't bad. However, the restaurant itself didn't contribute much to the ambience. There are no decorations on the tables, just partially full ashtrays. The negative: Unfortunately, the service was quite inattentive. It took an unreasonably long time to place the order. The waiter spilled part of a drink. It was only wiped away when asked. When we wanted to pay separately, the waiter simply estimated the prices and did not calculate the specific price per person. Our pizzas were ok, but didn't really taste like they came from a wood-fired oven. But I can't judge whether they actually came from the wood-fired oven as advertised.

Food not good, the fat floats on the pizza. Service could also be more accommodating. Overall it doesn't deserve more than two stars. P.S. Hasn't changed to this day. A PITY.

Always nice and good food, very friendly service

We were there around 6 p.m. and sat on the terrace. The positive first: - The central location in the old town of Schwandorf. - There were free tables. - The food came quickly. - Nice atmosphere in the restaurant inside. - The prices are ok. The not so good: - The very present street with constant slow traffic. - The unsightly view of the Rossini Hut with rubbish bins etc. - The atmosphere is rather cheap. The tables are old and worn out. There is no decoration - oh, yes: huge ashtrays :-( - The taste of the food was average. - Cutlery was only available 5 minutes after the food was brought and upon request. - Bread and spices were only brought upon request. - The 0.3l wine spritzer was brought in a 0.2l glass. When asked, something was refilled. Conclusion: hunger satisfied - we don't have to come back.

We had a delicious meal and the service was excellent.

First of all: The food was really good, it has really only gotten better over the years (it was never “bad”). And it's just nice when the staff takes a moment to show you how they roll out dough or the boss has fun with you. Really worth a visit if you're on a trip or visiting home

We are from Nuremberg and took a trip to Schwandorf and discovered the Rossini restaurant on the market square. We ordered a salad with turkey strips with homemade salad dressing. All I can say is simply super tasty, the staff is super friendly, I can only recommend it if We'll come back to Rossini straight away

We had dinner at Rossini today. I noticed how nice they were when I made the reservation over the phone. The service was really very nice, courteous and attentive. The food was extremely tasty, very appetizingly prepared and the portions of all dishes were large. The only thing that wasn't great was the space. The door to the market square was terribly cold. Nevertheless, we can only recommend it. We would like to come again.

Title: "Thrown out of the store for other guests" I took a week to write this review. However, this is not intended to be a insulting review, but rather a systematic and objective review with suggestions for improvement for the or possibly every restaurant. We reserved a table with a couple of friends at 6:00 p.m. on a Saturday. The food came very quickly and was also very good. We ordered another round of drinks later in the evening and wanted to enjoy a relaxing evening. After just over an hour and a half, you noticed that the frequency of requests for service was steadily increasing until, after about two hours of staying, we were asked whether we wanted to order anything else, otherwise they would ask us to free up the space for more guests. We had not expected that. Embarrassed, we ordered the bill, but also expressed that we didn't want to come back. The statement was viewed as “aggressive” by the waitress. The first service staff left the table and sent his colleague to collect the money. He offered us coffee, schnapps or a tiramisu as a small compensation. Basically a nice gesture, but should we have sipped our coffee with pleasure or eaten a tiramisu in that situation? The escape reflex was then far too great. This has never happened to us before. Of course, we can partially understand the restaurant's situation if the focus is on maximizing sales. For me/us, a restaurant is a place where you feel comfortable and have a pleasant time. It is not uncommon for there to be a certain level of interpersonal bonding that is created through customer-oriented, service-oriented behavior. Of course, a restaurant is a business and has to make money. But if customer loyalty doesn't work, such a store will eventually go under. So how could this situation be resolved differently without offending the guests (which definitely happened)? Many restaurants only offer table reservations for a certain time. If we had known in advance that we would have to leave after two hours, we could have dealt with it or we knew that in advance. If the waitress had told us that this table would have been reserved again in half an hour, we would have thought that was OK. But coming to the table without warning and basically “complementing” ourselves for other people from the store does not contribute to customer loyalty and is evidence of poor service. Ergo: we won't be coming anymore, there are other delicious Italian restaurants in the area.

Mass processing! Saturday 7 p.m., the place is full to capacity, so loud that you have to shout to have a conversation. The rather pale Pizza Capricciosa arrived after 5 minutes and was probably from the electric oven. In my opinion, the taste was just average. The cappuccino has nothing to do with an Italian C. The waiters were very quick. For the price I would expect something different.

War das erste Mal in der Pizzeria. Muss sagen, die Atmosphäre wie auch das Essen mega lecker 😋. Service 1A stehts bemüht und sehr freundlich. Komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

Silvester leider ein Reinfall. Horror Preise . Nach der Vorspeise kam sofort die 1. Hauptspeise. Leider nicht vollständig kein Salat Nach längerer Zeit die 2. Hauptspeise leider lauwarm und auch ohne Salat. Wir konnten leider nicht gemütlich essen ,wie wir uns ein Silvester Essen gewünscht haben. Auf Frage wegen dem Salat wurde uns eine Nachspeise und ein Grappa serviert, was wir trotzdem schön fanden. Wir sind eigentlich gute Gäste vom Rossini und immer begeistert leider war das Silvester nicht der Fall. Werden aber das Rossini zu einer anderen Zeit immer wieder mal besuchen.

Eine echt gute Pizzeria in der Stadtmitte Schwandorf. Ich kann vor allem die Pizza Rossini (Lachs, Crème fraiche und Shrimps) empfehlen! Echt leckere vor Ort in einem Steinofen gebackene Pizza. Man kann im Sommer schön draußen essen, innen ist jedoch auch sehr gemütlich. Personal weitgehend freundlich...

Obwohl viel los war (kurz vor Weihnachten), hat das Essen nicht lange gedauert und es wurde immer wieder freundlich gefragt, ob alles passt! Speis und Trank waren sehr gut und preislich auf normalem Niveau!

Das Essen dort ist sehr gut, das Ambiente total schön und der Service ist auch immer gut. Im Sommer kann man auf dem Marktplatz sitzen und dort essen 😉

Ich bin ein großer Fan der italienischen Küche und immer gerne hier. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und erfüllt selbst im stressigen Restaurantbetrieb regelmäßig meine veganen Sonderwünsche. Ich fühle mich hier immer sehr wohl und das Essen ist immer hervorragend.

Willst du eine gute Pizza von Orginalsteinofen essen dann bist du hier richtig. Mir hat es geschmeckt und war sehr zu Frieden. Abgerundet wird alles von einen super Service von den Personal. Macht weiter so! Update: 26.11.23 Weiterhin sehr zu empfehlen, nette Bedienung, guter Preis für eine sehr schmackhafte Pizza. Dazu guter und schneller Service.

Sind heute Abend spontan in der Lokalität eingekehrt und haben ohne Reservierung gleich einen freien Platz bekommen. Das Lokal besitzt ein schönes Ambiente, auf dem Weg zu unserem Platz sind wir an der offenen Küche vorbeigelaufen, welche sehr sauber und ansprechend aussieht. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, darüber hinaus aufmerksam und schnell. Ich habe mich für eine "Pizza halb und halb" entschieden mit einer Hälfte "Roma" und einer Hälfte "Rossini". Die Pizzen werden frisch im Holzofen gebacken und für die Gerichte werden offensichtlich frische und auch hochwertige Zutaten verwendet. Die Pizza ist sehr groß(~34cm) und gut belegt. Für meinen Geschmack war die Pizza etwas zu käselastig und damit ein wenig zu fettig, dafür gibt es leider einen Stern Abzug. Die Speisekarte war ansprechend und ausreichend groß, die Preise für mein Dafürbefinden in Ordnung und in Anbetracht der frischen Zutaten auch gerechtfertigt. Würde hier wieder Essen gehen, vermutlich aber etwas anderes anderes essen als die Pizza

Ganz toller Service, wahnsinnig schnell und Essen war gut. Habe mein Gericht nochmal neu bekommen, damit sichergestellt war, dass kein Gluten enthalten war. Total professionell und zuvorkommend. Vielen Dank! Jederzeit wieder!

Ein super Speiselokal egal was man isst es schmeckt hervorragend. Vor allem die abwechslungsreiche Speisekarte, das Essen ist heiß und geht schnell. Die Chefs des Hauses immer freundlich, das Personal zuvorkommend und schnell auch wenn das Lokal voll ist. Nicht zu vergessen die Leute in der Küche und der Pizzabäcker denen wir das leckere Essen zu verdanken haben. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne.

Ich gehe sehr gerne hier Essen. Vor der Inflation war ich sehr oft dort. Besonders die Pizza Rossini kann ich empfehlen 👌 Reservierungen klappten jedoch manchmal leider nicht so gut... Die Preise sind aufgrund der Qualität gerechtfertigt. Dennnoch gehe ich aufgrund der inzwischen hohen deutlich seltener hier Essen. Ist leider so.

Trotz vollem Haus und der dadurch etwas lauten Unterhaltungen war es sehr sehr lecker und der Service top. Kleiner Tipp: für Pizzas sind die Messer etwas ungeeignet ( schneiden da nicht so gut ). Aber wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Sehr freundliches Personal und das Essen war sehr lecker. Waren 2 x dort Essen mit 8 Leuten und alle Speisen waren super gut. Außerdem gab‘s Espresso, Limoncello und Grappa auf’s Haus!

Vorsicht bei der Bestellung. Bitte fragt genau nach, was bestellt und was boniert wird. In unserem Fall waren wir zu neunt im Rossini. Eigentlich wollte niemand so recht eine Vorspeise, jedoch hat der Kellner seine Antipasti so gut beworben, dass doch 2-3 Personen ein wenig interessiert waren. Wir bekamen vom Kellner das Angebot, dass er uns für alle zusammen 3 Teller Antipasti zum Reinstellen macht. Das Angebot haben wir angenommen ... 3x Antipasti für 9 Personen, passt, da kann jeder ein bisschen was essen und es hat der Hauptgang noch Platz. Die Überraschung kam dann bei der Rechnung. Die drei Teller Antipasti schlugen mit 107,10 EUR zu Buche! Es wurden uns 9 Portionen berechnet! Die Erklärung seitens Rossini: Wir hätten 3 Teller a 3 Portionen bestellt und bekommen. Es wäre korrekt, dass 9 Portionen berechnet werden. Wir haben jedoch definitiv keine 9 Portionen und schon gar keine 3x3 Portionen bestellt. Wenn dann hätten wir logischer weise pro Person eine eigene Portion bestellt. Das mit 3 Portionen auf 3 Tellern macht überhaupt keinen Sinn. Wir haben genau 3x Antipasti bestellt. Seitens Rossini war kein Einsehen und auch keine Einigung auf einen Preis in der Mitte möglich. Schade. Ich fühle mich hier abgezockt. Hier werden wir sicher nicht mehr zu Gast sein.

Waren heute wieder mal Essen im Rossini. Wir haben wie immer sehr gut gegessen. Das Personal war wie immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Freuen uns schon auf das nächste Mal. Immer wieder gerne!
