Pizzeria Rialto in Bad Sooden-Allendorf

Rialto has been around since my childhood, over 40 years. We were recently in Buenos Aires again. We had schnitzel, mussels, and pasta there. The food was delicious. Good portions and very attentive staff. We were there again last week and it was great again. We'll definitely be back.

I'm from Eschwege myself and eat there moderately often, and I'm always impressed by the exceptional hospitality, the good food, and the lovely ambiance. A definite recommendation!

We happened by; I couldn't find anything else in Allendorf for lunch. The location on the market square is great. There were four of us there. The waitress was rather unfriendly and just brought the menus without taking our drink orders. Only after we had chosen the food could we order drinks. Unfortunately, the worst "Italian" food I've ever seen or tasted. If you want to call it positive: the portions were large. The "filled round pasta" with cream sauce and cooked ham was too salty. The "weird tube pasta" had a minced meat sauce that tasted like a ready-made product. The schnitzel was deep-fried and greasy, and the sauce came from a packet. The color (yellow) and consistency (custard?) were rather questionable. It's rather sad that there are so many positive reviews for this kind of food. The strange names in quotation marks are really what they say on the menu! At least I'm not dependent on ever having to eat here again. When paying by card, the waiter simply took the card from the table and held it against the machine, which I find quite invasive. Nobody would just reach into a guest's wallet to take the correct amount. Still, three (!) stars, because the food was edible. The quality is different.

The service is attentive, friendly, and makes you feel right at home. In short: If you want to enjoy real Italian food, this is the place to be. The pizza dough was rock-hard and unpalatable. I had to use my own knife to cut the dough. A complaint to the server went unanswered. Therefore, I can't recommend this place.

Beautifully located in the center of town, excellent service, delicious food. Everything was perfect.

Pizza is a matter of taste. Mine was okay, but nothing special. Lots of arugula, but unfortunately, cooked ham, not Parma ham.

The weather was changeable, so we got a table for two right by the window with a view of the market. The service was pleasant and friendly, the drinks came quickly and were well-stocked. The menu offers a wide selection of dishes. For us seniors, the portions were just right.

We had a really good meal here; the selection is decent for a pizzeria. Sitting outside is nice, but the tables wobble a bit due to the cobblestones, but definitely recommended. 👍

Large outdoor area, friendly service. However, the beer I ordered arrived late, and the pizza di mare was very "noisy"; there wasn't enough salt and pepper to season it. The pizza with Gorgonzola and spicy salami was completely different – perfect! I love pizzas with a crispy crust. The bruschetta that came first was also delicious.

Great food... we had pizza and pasta. But it's also worth ordering Indian food, as it's typical of the country...😁 They also deliver to the Camping Oasis.😉

Always very friendly with the best pizzas and pasta

The restaurant not only impresses with excellent food, but above all with exceptionally attentive and warm service. You can feel that the team really cares about their guests - from the friendly greeting to the personal farewell. Every wish was practically read from our eyes. We felt completely comfortable and will definitely come back. Absolute recommendation!

Above all, it was a lot, but that's the only positive thing. I had spaghetti alio, olio e peperoncini. The garlic was in the pan for too long, there were no peperoncini to be seen and there was a lot of parmesan on top, which made the whole thing creamy. In my opinion, that doesn't work at all in this court

If you want to eat a good pizza, this is not the place for you. The positive thing is that fresh mushrooms are used. Otherwise the pizza was tasteless.

We have been coming to this beautiful restaurant regularly for over 15 years, the service is the best you could wish for and so is the food. I'm always happy to go there again.

Located in the picture perfect town square of Bad Sooden. This was a fantastic place to enjoy an outdoor meal in summertime. Wonderful weekly specials, even with a large group, everyone enjoyed their authentic meal. Good service and excellent food.

The best restaurant/pizzeria in and around Wanfried. When I'm in Wanfried, eating at the Rialto is a must!! Highly Recommended!!

Sehr große und leckere Portionen. Schön und zentral gelegen aber nur einen 7/10 Service. Dafür ist das Essen schnell fertig gewesen :)

A very cozy atmosphere with comfortable chairs. The service was friendly, we didn't have to wait long to order and the food was ready relatively quickly. Large portions to fill you up and it tasted very good. We don't skimp on the side dishes here either. I had fresh champions (not from a can) and my companion had a lot of salmon and shrimp on his plate. At the end there was a liqueur on the house. The prices are not overpriced. Highly recommended!

Very unfriendly staff. Were there on March 20, 2024 around noon. The two ladies were very unfriendly. If you asked something, very rude answer. Not a good selection of hot dishes. Bockwurst was very wrinkled, probably kept warm for too long. Baguette was good. Because of the unfriendliness Ywe won't stop here anymore. A pity.

Sehr nettes Leute, schnelle Lieferung nach Hause! Aber an den Pizzen kann gearbeitet werden. Wir haben Pizza bestellt. Der Teig war leider nicht komplett durchgebacken und daher ist der Boden zu weich. Die Tomatensoße hatte kaum Geschmack. Zatziki war einfach eine Joghurtsoße, Hollandaise Soße hat keinen Geschmack und ist leider sehr flüssig. Ab Belag wird leider auch gespart. Das zweite mal, dass ich meine Pizzen so bekomme. Bis auf Pizza sind alle anderen Gerichte ganz lecker.

As always, the pizza was delicious, but we don't think a price increase of €3.50 (€13 for a pizza) is okay!!! You will lose a lot of customers...

Italian restaurant with a typical menu. According to the menu, the pizzas only come in one size, but they were very tasty. The service was friendly.

Wir sind ab und zu mit unserem Reisemobil als Zwischenübernachtung auf dem Stellplatz "Franzrasen" und laufen immer wieder gern durch diese schöne Innenstadt mit den Fachwerkhäusern. Die Pizzeria ist zu jeder Jahreszeit eine Empfehlung um gut und reichhaltig zu essen. Für Paare, denen üppige Portionen, egal ob Tellergerichte oder die Pizza, zuviel viel sind geben wir den Tipp, ein Essen zu teilen. Reicht um satt zu werden. Diese Pizzeria ist eine absolute Empfehlung.

Ein sehr gemütliches Restaurant, umgeben von vielen wunderschönen, alten Fachwerkhäuser. Das Essen war super lecker, die Bedienung sehr nett, freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Unser Essen (Schlemmerschnitzel, Suppe, Bruschetta) hat ganz toll geschmeckt. Wir mussten nicht lange warten, die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Wir können dieses Lokal absolut weiterempfehlen.

Ich habe dort eine super leckere Lasagne. gegessen. Lasagne ist mein absolutes Lieblingsessen und ich bin immer auf der Suche nach Restaurants in denen man eine gute Lasagne bekommt. Das ist nach meinem Geschmack im Rialto absolut der Fall. Die Portion der Lasagne ist dazu auch noch mehr als ausreichend und man wird richtig satt. Top!

Mit dem Service kann man zufrieden sein. Die Portionen sind sehr üppig, hier würde aber etwas weniger gut passen den die Qualität der Speisen wird dadurch nicht besser.

Wir haben bestellt: Spaghetti Bolognese ; Pizza und 2x Schnitzel. Die Schnitzel waren ganz gut. Pizzateig war leider nicht so gut.. schmeckte sehr nach Fertigteig. Spaghetti Bolo war ein total unglückliches Sosse/Nudel Verhältnis. Gefühlt 300g Nudeln auf dem Teller mit einem Klacks Sosse. Wir würden nicht noch einmal kommen.

Juli 2023 • Sitzmöglichkeiten im Innen- und Außenbereich (direkt auf dem Marktplatz) • Service war nicht besonders freundlich, zudem drängelte sie uns zur Bestellung, obwohl nicht viel Betrieb war • Ich bestellte 1x Gyrospizza mit Tomatensauce, Käse, Knoblauch, Zwiebeln, Hähnchenbrustfiletsreifen, Salatstreifen und Zaziki. Meine Begleitpersonen bestellten 1x Pizza Tonno mit Tomatensauce, Käse und Thunfisch und 1x Mittagsgericht Pfifferlinge mit Salat. Die Pizza Tonno und die Pfifferlinge waren laut meiner Begleitpersonen lecker. Auf meiner Pizza war viel zu viel Zaziki und Salat dafür kaum Hähnchenbrustfiletsreifen, sehr schade! • Die Location ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet • Parkplätze findet man rum um den Marktplatz

We ask for shadow, and they did not provide the shadow, saying it could rain. Food was served quick, but not good quality. Pasta was clearly not hand made, and pizza seems to be like frozen one.

Das Essen war gut, die Bedienung hatte die Ruhe weg. Das Essen war vor den Getränken da.

Heerlijke pizza gegeten. Vlotte bediening en meteen plaats voor 3 personen. En voor een heel redelijke prijs.

Sehr gutes Restaurant in einer guten Umgebung. Sehr freundliches Personal und sehr leckeres Essen. Alles frisch und lecker zubereitet. Frischer Salat, Saftiges Schnitzel und knackige Pommes. Das Bier ist auch frisch und stillt den Durst. Der Preis ist angemessen (40€) für die Menge, die wir bestellt haben. Es lohnt sich sehr. Würde es weiterempfehlen und werde immer wieder gerne hier zum essen gehen. Danke für das leckere Essen.

Wir waren leider vom Essen sehr enttäuscht, ein bisschen weniger Belag auf der Pizza und dafür hochwertiger wäre unsere Empfehlung.

Wir waren spontan zum Abendessen in der Pizzeria Rialto. Es gab sehr viele Plätze und wir haben ohne Vorbestellung noch einen Platz bekommen. Die Karte ist sehr groß und ich bevorzuge eine kleinere, spezifischere Karte. Wenn es ein italienisches Restaurant ist, finde ich, dass deutsche Schnitzel und indische Gerichte fehl am Platz sind. Wir hatten das Carpaccio Funghi und die Spaghetti Frutti di Mare gewählt. Das Carpaccio selbst hatte leider wenig Geschmack, es hat etwas Säure gefehlt, dies wurde durch viele riesige Knoblauchstücke kompensiert. So hat man fast nur Knoblauch geschmeckt. Ich esse sonst gerne Knoblauch, aber möchte auch andere Aromen schmecken. Das begleitende Pizzabrot war frisch gebacken und sehr lecker. Die Spaghetti Frutti di Mare war geschmacklich verbesserungswürdig. Die Bestandteile der Sauce waren nicht mehr genau zu definieren und sie enthielt meiner Meinung nach Thunfisch, der nicht unter Meersfrüchte fällt. Einzig positiv zu erwähnen ist die wirklich riesige Portion.

Essen gut 👍. Wie immer 😏😅 es ist wie ein Tag im Urlaub. Witzige und offene Bedienung 😅 trotzdem es richtig voll war.
