Pizzeria Pomodoro in Leipzig

Really solid spot for take out. The pizza is tasty—especially the Caprese—and the dough is out of this world: perfectly crisp, chewy, and full of flavor. The vegan options aren’t quite there yet, but the pasta is alright, and the burgers are fine if you’re in the mood for cheap burgers. What really stands out is the price—thank you for still being affordable without compromising on quality. Great value for what you get!

We ordered a lasagne and spaghetti with truffles and green asparagus. The lasagna was bland, any microwave lasagne tastes better than that. The truffle pasta did not contain any gram of truffles. It was a far too fatty, pureed mushroom sauce and the two pieces of asparagus were completely overcooked. We didn't like it at all and couldn't eat it either. It's really heavy in my stomach and I have a stomach ache. We won't be ordering here again and wouldn't recommend it to others either.

Dear Pomodoro team, Really world class what you do, I would love to order from you. Today I picked it up and for ONLY €14.5 I got a gigantic 40cm pizza with plenty of smoked salmon AND a 26cm pizza, which also tasted great. I don't understand some of the criticism, what you offer is something different, CHEAP and super tasty, I give you full support.

I ordered a special broccoli pizza and wrote “no peppers” as a note. The pizza didn't even have a single floret of broccoli on it, but rather more peppers. The bruschetta is a pizza with curried tomatoes that were in the oven and everything soaked in oil. Very disappointing.

The best pizza take away of the quarter, The pizza are super, and really affordable, 6,50€ for 30cm in 2024. I was there several time. I hope it will stay like that. They are really friendly.

Ordered food at 22 30. This restaurant accepted my order and took my money. They never deliveree the food. I rang the restaurant the following day and informed the owner of what happened, who said he would ring me back. Complete scammers who stole my money. Thankfully it never arrived as reading other reviews means I had a lucky escape. As a tourist in Leipzig, it left a very bad taste towards the trip.

I always go there on Saturdays when I'm drunk. As long as you behave politely and respectfully, the place is very drunk-friendly. The pizza tastes good and is quite cheap. I can't complain and I'm glad the store exists :)

We can't complain, it tastes delicious and special requests are also taken into account. Very nice staff especially the pizza maker. Tiramisu is highly recommended and the food in general is very tasty

Absolutely disappointing… more than that! That is rude. On my pizza with green asparagus and cherry tomatoes and extra ham there were 2 chopped cherry tomatoes, half a green asparagus strip that was torn 4 times and endless sauce. There was no ham on it at all. I don't even know what to say... never again!

I do not recommend this restaurant which does not deliver orders and does not answer the phone. Thieves! Their pizzas are not good at the same time!

Food was really bad. Fries were undercooked and extremely limp. Pizza tastes like normal pizza, burger was bad too. We won't order from this pizzeria again.

My friends and I ordered food there. Unfortunately, the noodles were all cooked completely soft, even though we asked that they be cooked until al dente. The spagetti with “Truffle & Asparagus” (13€?!) and the Cabonara (11€) were simply identical and tasted like a lot of cream sauce and NOTHING else. We still ask ourselves where the asparagus was. The pasta definitely gives us stomach problems. But pizza was ok. Greetings from my friend, she just found a piece of bread in her pasta. Gladly not again (ง'̀-'́)ง

So apart from the rather less friendly employee who delivered our food, it was really catastrophic. I paid €13 for the spaghetti with truffles, which tasted like absolutely nothing. Especially not like truffles. My friend's pizza wasn't really a highlight either. Pretty bland and limp. Would definitely NOT recommend this restaurant.

Order from this store regularly, pizza is super tasty and the ingredients are very fresh, you can taste it! And the prices are more than just fair! Delivery is super fast, and if it's busy I don't have a problem waiting an hour for it, it's worth it!

The food was vile, sewage. It smelled like trash, literary. Inedible garbage, that I threw away, after opening. Yuk! Never again.

Mega leckere Pizza und das nachts um 1 Uhr. Auch sehr nette Mitarbeiter. Hatten eine Salamipizza mit Pilzen und extra Käse. Absolut empfehlenswert, immer wieder.

Ich kann die Pizzeria wirklich empfehlen. Habe in den letzten Monate schon mehrmals verschiedene Pizzen ausprobiert und mir haben bisher alle gut geschmeckt. Gut gewürzt, ein leckerer, dünner Teig und mir gefällt besonders gut, dass es auch außergewöhnliche Pizzen gibt. Preis/Leistung ist such unschlagbar.

Die Lieferung war schnell, leider sind nur 2 der 3 über Lieferando bestellten Produkte bei mir angekommen.

Guter Service, Preise sind okay, aber wir haben eine Sucukpizza mit extra Mais und Zwiebeln, eine Pizza Rustica mit extra Käse und eine Pizza Caprese bestellt. Die Sucukpizza war nicht existent oder wurde mit Hack verwechselt? Zwiebeln und Mais fehlten, welche wir dazu bezahlt hatten. Die Pizza Rustica hatte keinen Käse darauf, welcher auch extra bezahlt wurde und die Zutaten waren auch micht mehr frisch. Auf der Pizza Caprese waren keine frischen, sondern Dosentomaten darauf. Der Rucola auf den Pizzen sah trostlos aus. Wir wollten uns einen schönen Abend machen und wurden leider sehr enttäuscht.

Wie prognostiziert 55Min. bei lieferando gewartet. Insalata Pomodoro schmeckt insgesamt ziemlich belanglos…vermutlich ist Zusammenstellung einfach arg Geschmackssache und es fehlen, wie bei Melansane alla Parmigiano, Gewürze.

Ich bestelle öfter hier, eigentlich echt gut. Aber dieses mal war die Pizza leider kalt.
