Very disappointing – We have been loyal regular guests for years and have always been satisfied. But what we experienced this time was really a disappointment. We placed an order online for pickup. When we picked up we were greeted in an extremely unfriendly manner and completely ignored. Especially since the tone was absolutely wrong! The quality of the food was poor: the pizza only tasted like tomato paste, the pasta was extremely overloaded with garlic, and the meat was undercooked. Nothing like this has ever happened to us in all these years. Never again!

Authentic Italian food, really clearly served, very friendly service and even the ambience has a bit of a holiday flair - despite the fact that you're sitting right on the street. Even the cocktails were great. Always my pleasure!

Were here in September 2022. Everything was very good, only the service was slow and the food took a while (hence a star deduction). However, it was all the more delicious. The price-performance ratio is really good in this store. I can only recommend it. Will definitely be eating there again soon.

Good pizzeria on a busy street in Ehrenfeld. The food was good and the service was a little inattentive, but OK. The decor is very tasteful and unique, for example with doors hanging from the ceiling.

We spontaneously made a reservation for 6 people on Saturday and got a place. When we got there at 7:30 p.m. the store was full to the brim. We had to wait almost 90 minutes for our food. That was really too long. The food was very tasty. The basement was fun and nice, but pretty congested. Overall it was still a nice evening.

Atmosphere lets you think this is a good restaurant but sadly my experience was not good. Food came in 40 minutes and people that came after us served before us. And when we asked about our food, we didn't get a positive attitude. And everything was so oily. That much oil on a pizza is not good unfortunately.

Unfortunately, far too few service staff. We waited almost 45 minutes for our first drinks. Then always wait 30 minutes for a drink. Food was good. Service disaster.

I reserved a table for 2. The shop doesn't have any tables for two. Then we had to wait for people to get up from their table so we could get our seat, which wasn't a problem at all. Afterwards we were seated at a different table, not the one where we were told that we had to wait until people left. which isn't a problem at all Would be if I hadn't been seated at a "garden table" with "mini" garden chairs. Was the only one “for 2”, although the one for 4 was covered. The table was drastically smaller than others, which wouldn't have been a problem if we hadn't had such poor seating and sat lower than the other tables. I was allowed to swap the seating but it was one from the next table and a pink chair from the children's play area. Then I got up and left. I find it an impossibility. Why do I reserve for 2 if it is not feasible.

It was super tasty! The Vitello Tonnato is a dream. Pizza also delicious. Gladly again.

I have rarely seen such a friendly, crazy crowd, almost 2 hours. Waiting for food, luckily we sat WARM and drinks came in 1/4 hour. TACT. THEN IT'S OK, BUT ONE THING TO THE OWNERS, they don't yell at you in front of the customers.

Good, but high prices. The restaurant itself looks nice, very stylishly decorated. However, it is very loud and cramped. You have to be up for being close to other people...

Rarely have I had such a bad pizza

We've been sitting for 35 minutes in front of empty starter plates that haven't been cleared away. No clearing away, no information about the main course, no questions, nothing. Drinks are also empty, no demand either.. 6 person table is completely ignored. The place is half full, I count 4 (!) waitresses. The pizza comes without cheese, a look at the menu - just to be on the safe side - says there should be cheese on it. At least the replacement came quickly. I don't have to write more. What's going on there?

November 30, 2024: (Update) We last went to Piccola Restaurant about 4 years ago, and yesterday, after such a long time, we were finally able to remember the very delicious taste of the dishes! Even though we didn't make a reservation, everything went perfectly. The lasagna was really incredibly tasty, and we also loved the homemade lemonade! We always enjoy coming back. Absolutely recommended!

I pre-ordered to pick up and I got there after 20 minutes and they hadn't processed my order yet. The reaction was we have a lot to do and they didn't say sorry. Expensive and poor service. Never again.

This restaurant was a safe bet for me for years. I've only been there once or twice a year, but the last few times I've noticed a downward trend. The last pizza I ate there might as well have been the box with mozzarella on it. Even the oils, which were always so delicious, were somehow “sorted out” with little taste. The service wasn't interested in us, overall we felt tolerated. The whole group had that impression and none of us have been there since. It's a shame, but I think there are many other shops that are still full of passion and can now be discovered.

Pizza with slices of black mushrooms are recommended, which does not exist on the menu but it is possible to order. The service is very welcoming and a little bit delayed. The food was delicious and the environment is a very good option if you are thinking about arranging a gathering.

That was really a failure! We ordered 2 pizzas both really bad. The Tonno pizza tasted like a gyros shop that also makes pizza on the side. Pizza Caprese was completely soaked. Delivery first took 20 minutes and then took 1 hour. That really cost us our Sunday evening. It was quite expensive👎🏼

On my last visit I was very satisfied and the atmosphere was cozy! This time, however, the overall package was just disappointing. The service was really not good, there was an argument about responsibility and other things in such a way that the guests clearly noticed. Ordering was only possible after a long wait, even though it wasn't too busy. The waiter mixed up orders several times, both for our drinks and those of the next table. My pizza was very tasty, but the pizza with vegan cheese tasted strange. Basically it was inedible because it somehow tasted like essential oil and left a very unpleasant feeling on the tongue - we've never experienced anything like that! When the waiter asked, we explained this and he dismissed it by saying that there are different qualities of vegan cheese, but that he "doesn't like vegan" and therefore couldn't say anything about it. At least the barely touched pizza didn't have to be paid for.

We used to enjoy coming here, the food was good and the ambience was nice, but the last few times we've been very disappointed by the poor service. Since the expansion, the service has deteriorated significantly. On Saturday evening there were three cellars* inside, we had to wait almost half an hour before we could or were allowed to order. One kept telling us that he wasn't responsible for our table, the second said he would come straight to us and the third simply ignored us. Even later, orders were always forgotten or mixed up. There was never an excuse for it. A waiter also made us feel like we were bothering him because he always talked to people he knew for a long time instead of serving. Overall, you felt like supplicants and not like guests in a restaurant! Not a nice experience! Given the prices and the service, we won't be coming back for a while. A glass of itl. Red wine 0.2 for 8 euros and a Lilet wild berry for 9 euros etc. The ironic thing was that the person who was supposedly responsible for us ended up charging us. Ha-Ha.

Order via Lieferando simply did NOT ARRIVE and after 1.5 hours of waiting. Then the shop was closed.

Visit on Saturday August 3rd, 2024 The atmosphere is great, the store invites you as soon as you walk past! The ambience and furnishings are harmonious and it's a good vibe!!! The selection is good and varied! Unfortunately I find the menu very confusing! It's also a shame that the board with recommendations from staff isn't mentioned at all. We had a starter and a main course, unfortunately the service was so rushed that the main course came when we hadn't finished the starter yet. Definitely a no go and a real shame! Even if the main course was brought, the opportunity would not be used to sell drinks again. So I had to order again myself. The service is not very attentive to this, sometimes not mentioning the loss of sales. I actually found the Brushetta Pomodore appetizer to be too big but very tasty! The three main courses were also all very enjoyable! Unfortunately, due to the large starter, I was only able to eat half of the pizza. So I would skip the starter next time. Which is another loss of sales for you. I would also like to mention the friendly Kellerin and Holland fan. Super super cool! I will visit this restaurant again and would happily recommend it!

I enjoyed being a guest for many years. Unfortunately, quality and taste have increasingly deteriorated. After our ToGo meal today was delivered via Uber Eats in very poor quality (tasteless, white cheaper probably pollock(?) instead of wild salmon), this will be the last time I eat there. Price/performance unfortunately absolutely not acceptable. A pity!

Today we have a pizza with rocket, Serano ham and Parmesan as well as crema de balsamico, Ate rigatoni with vegetables and spaghetti bolo for my daughter. I really have to say that we have never eaten pizza and pasta that were so good. 😍🫶😍

I would like to give a review here for the benefit of the employees. Great food, great service, great kitchen! What is clearly missing is proper treatment of employees. The staff is responsible for glasses that break during use. They are supposed to jump as the boss sees fit, there is an arrogant tone. If someone cheats the bill or there is an error in the cash register, the employees also pay for it, I know a few who had to experience that. It's nice that everything is done for the guest so that it suits him and he is satisfied, but the people who ensure this are treated like doormats by the management, quite unfairly. Delicious pizza, great ambience

The Pizzeria Piccola in Ehrenfeld absolutely convinced me! Even though I was there alone, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making me immediately feel welcome. You can also have a coffee there and enjoy the atmosphere.

Cozy shop, clever menu. Rather in the higher price segment, especially when it comes to drinks. The pizza is very tasty, although the base could be a little thinner and crispier. Very nice: If you ask, you can get a cruet with garlic oil, chili oil and oregano. Unfortunately there was a long waiting time after arrival until we were served.

Ambience is nice, central in a busy area. The service was friendly and quick. Unfortunately, the food wasn't convincing, the pizza was very salty and hardly any other seasoning. The appetizer platter was nicely presented but there was also a lack of seasoning or oils.

Very long waiting times for a pizza on a weekday, with up to 60 mins without any “warning” or communication about it or any apology. Unfortunately, as a customer, you also hear the loud arguments between the employees in the kitchen. A pity. Don't come back.

Unfortunately, the quality has been steadily deteriorating over the last few years, the food is now inedible and the prices are outrageous for this quality. It started with a menu change - I think there was a change in boss - many good dishes were eliminated... I used to go there once a week and it was my absolute favorite Italian restaurant. I've tried it a few times recently, but what can I say: no matter what dish I ordered - whether pizza or pasta - it was a disaster. The fact that you can even make Al Forno dishes taste like NOTHING is almost impressive. Unfortunately, this hasn't had anything to do with Italian food for a long time and I'm surprised at every positive review. Many friends of mine also enjoyed coming here often, but now everyone avoids this location and is happy that there are other good Italian restaurants in Ehrenfeld. The only star goes to the waiters, who always provided good service and certainly can't be blamed for this loss of quality.

Never again!! Pasta was overcooked and fell apart, only the top ones on the plate looked presentable. The pine nuts were certainly counted out, so we were able to enjoy the dried tomatoes even more. (1☆ is still too much). Piccolo was too warm, so we ordered more Add ice. After a while the door and a window were opened. After about 20 minutes we asked for it to close, but we were disabused of it: "the sun is shining, it's warm and spring". Card payments are not accepted!!, although all types of card payments are accepted on the website of all Piccola chains. Very annoying! (This is often an indication of cash register fraud; a receipt requirement has been in place since 2020). It's good that there are other Italians who also have more to offer in terms of quality. Very nice restaurant. Food is very good for the price. Nothing special but appropriate. The staff was a bit overwhelmed that day but we were able to address the errors in the order and they were fixed.

Last week we had the pleasure of visiting Pizzeria Piccola Ehrenfeld with a large group of 18 people, including children. Despite our large numbers, service was exceptionally attentive and friendly, and all orders were served promptly and without delay. The atmosphere in the restaurant is warm and welcoming, ideal for families. The children had a lot of fun and felt very comfortable, which is not always a given on such occasions. The meal itself was an absolute highlight. The pizzas were freshly prepared, with crispy bases and generously topped with quality ingredients that honor Italian cuisine. It's not easy to manage such a large group, but Pizzeria Piccola did it brilliantly. We recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic Italian meal in a friendly environment.

I had Ravioli Tartufo and Sarti Spritz. The food was delicious and a highlight that I haven't had in a long time. The waiter was friendly and on the ball. An absolute recommendation!

We ordered four pizzas for delivery to Cologne-Vogelsang. Ordering via the app went smoothly, and what is positive is that the status of the order is displayed in the app. Therefore, we were able to track that the actual delivery took 40 minutes. Since the branch in Bickendorf no longer exists, delivery takes a correspondingly long time, and you are then at the end of the food chain in Vogelsang... Accordingly, the pizzas were not even lukewarm. The tuna pizza was extra rustic, you could say half black. We had a delivery fee of €1.99 and a tip of €3 - €55.59 in total. This can be invested much better.

Delicious food. Our seating area was a little too small. Still OK I would have liked a small starter or olives on the table before the meal.

A great meal. Perfectly seasoned and very close to the Italian original. Unfortunately a bit loud! There are no sound-absorbing wall panels and the tables are a bit too narrow. You can order electronically via QR code. That's a good thing, because the very friendly service staff would otherwise be overwhelmed by the abundance.

A very nice restaurant. I met someone there and we just had a drink. Maybe that wasn't lucrative enough. At least I ordered a Coke several times that was promised to me but was never brought. Ultimately I gave up on it.

The pizza was very tasty and you could put different toppings on the halves and eat two types if you couldn't decide. Unfortunately the pomegranate lemonade was empty, so we got "peach lemonade", which tasted like Ahoi Brause Orange, unfortunately not that tasty... But all in all a nice evening.
