Pizzeria Media in Hamm

Fast, friendly service and nice ambience. Unfortunately we are very disappointed with the pizza. We ordered several and the bases of all pizzas are the same size and all taste worse than any frozen pizza. Unfortunately only a ready-made pizza or a ready-made crust that is quickly filled on site.

the food was okay Margaret was good. Calzone still raw in the middle. pork medallions a bit little the people nice and the atmosphere is comfortable.

The fine evening of January 11th, 2025 6 p.m. Reservations were taken to the outdoor area called the winter garden, wonderfully fresh despite the heaters that felt like they didn't help, plus the incoming and outgoing service staff who constantly left the door open and thus provided a breath of fresh air. The starter arrived on the plate, unfortunately only lukewarm, and the dishes didn't do justice to the price. The main course, felt like 20 minutes later, hmmmmm well. Ordered Cola wheat, delivered 90 percent beer with a splash of Cola in it, missed the mark for me. Too bad it's no longer interesting to me, sorry

A very good and relaxed atmosphere. Consideration will be given to people with walking difficulties or disabled people in general. We felt in good hands.

We had reserved a table for New Year's Eve at 6:30 p.m. We've been doing it this way for about 5 years and we've always been very satisfied. This year we were seated in the winter garden without being told beforehand when we made the reservation. That didn't work at all. It was very cold, everyone sat with their jackets on and ate, as did the other guests. My mother is 79 years old and we wanted to spend a nice evening there. As always, the food was good and arrived quickly. But because of the cold we ate quickly and then left immediately. There was nothing about eating comfortably. I also told the waiter that they should have informed us when we made the reservation that we were sitting outside. We could have dressed more heavily, but then we wouldn't have come with our mother. He just said he was sorry and that was it. I'm really disappointed

Good solid pizzeria with good service and good food

A nice pizzeria with mainly pizza and pasta dishes. The food tastes very good and even when it is very busy the service is there. In terms of price, it is of course always a matter of opinion what is too much and what is not. Personally, I think charging €7 for a gratinated potato (as a side dish) is not justified. Or for a tomato and feta salad consisting of approx. 10 slices of tomatoes and a few crumbs of feta, also €7... That evening we paid a total of 130€ for 5 people (i.e. for: 2 starters, 5 main courses, including one consisting of the aforementioned potato and tomato salad and 2 desserts) plus drinks. That's €26 per person (divided by 5), which is absolutely fine. Conclusion: If you want to spend a nice evening in a pizzeria, this is the right place!

A pizzeria you should definitely try. Everything fits here, very tasty food, very attentive staff and a cozy atmosphere.

The food is super tasty & the service is good! However, the atmosphere is no longer what it used to be. Way too crowded, especially on weekends, so you can't even have a proper conversation. Unfortunately, comfortable is different.

A very good pizzeria, friendly and courteous staff. The pizzas are freshly prepared. Close to the shopping center in Werries, the bus stop is about 20 meters away.

We wanted to eat pizza/pasta with the family and were loaded into an ice cream window with uncovered tables. The service seemed upset. Coca-Cola and Fanta were definitely not in the glasses. The food was good.

The restaurant was way too crowded and noisy on my last two visits. More and more places and tables are being created. As a result, the quality and well-being of the guests suffer. It has become too cramped in the restaurant. Prices are good not too expensive. Employees are very friendly. It is often full, so you should reserve in advance otherwise you have little chance of getting a table.

The good news: If you can draw the unsuspecting service's attention to yourself and the items you ordered, you'll be fed up. But if you like authentic Italian cuisine, you should definitely avoid this soulless temple of convenience. THAT has NOTHING to do with Italy at all. That's well below MEDIA = average

So I thought the food was delicious and the waiters were super friendly too! I especially found the waiter with the goatee and curly hair very nice. But the food and drinks were very expensive

Nowadays it's an absolute disgrace what you get for your money. This is supposed to be a Margherita pizza with peppers and onions. That was it for me, I'll give it a wide berth.

We love this pizzeria! It's cozy, the food is delicious and the service is on point. There are classics and unusual varieties and there are even special requests for the children, which is really great. Keep it up ☺️

We just wanted to eat a little something for lunch and ordered the baked potato with spinach crust, fresh mushrooms and special sauce. The potatoes were so sparsely stuffed and completely dry. The fresh mushrooms were cut into tiny thin slices, barely visible and tasteless. When I asked where the special sauce was, the answer was that the potato is so small that nothing fits in it. I would have gladly taken advantage of the offer to bring some sauce, but not for an additional charge of 1.80.🙈

It's not for nothing that we've been our absolute favorite Italian restaurant for many years. One downside is that when it's full, the volume can be a bit tiring.

There were 7 of us who were quite spontaneous and wanted pizza. We hadn't booked a table. The boss made it possible for us to get a table despite the shop being full. The pizza arrived quickly and was extremely tasty. We can recommend the pizzeria 100%. Service and price top.

The calamari as a starter was delicious.Bruchetta was ok.The special sauce on the pizza was delicious, but we were really disappointed with the pizza dough!!The topping was fresh and tasty, but the dough was so bad that the pizza tasted like a frozen pizza!It's a shame because you have a great special sauce and fresh ingredients!

Uncomplicated ordering via the website for collection at a separate counter. The restaurant was generously expanded and was well attended. The pizzas were rich and freshly topped. Overall, a good impression and a significant improvement compared to my last visit a few years ago.

A class Italian. Great pasta dishes and the pizza is legendary.

My impression of this place is very unprofessional. Everything was very minimalistic, there was very little space to sit and my chair was broken. The menu selection was good. You had to fight for every order. We were very thirsty but you always had to talk to the waiters yourself. We waited forever, about an hour, for the food. A long wait for 4 people. All the other people who entered the shop after us, whether more or less guests, got their food before us. We asked twice when it would happen because we still had plans afterward. The pizza tasted like crisp and baked dough. But the toppings seemed very fresh to me and not from a can. The waiter didn't check or pretend anything. The waitress tried very hard. On the whole you can go there and if there's nothing going on it would be best.

Thank you for the great hospitality yesterday. Everyone enjoyed it very much. 17 people served quickly and attentively. When we're back in Hamm, we'll be happy to come back.

When you enter the Pizzeria Media you immediately feel at home and have a great atmosphere. The staff were very attentive. The salads we ordered were excellent.

We always like to come to this restaurant from Soes/Möhneseet as a meeting place with friends for a good meal. We can only recommend starters, pizza, pasta and pork fillet. The service is friendly and attentive. The young Keller always has a friendly sense of humor. Price performance fits. 👍 We'll be back.

Ordered pizzas to pick up. Tasted very industrial and like ready-made dough. The only positive thing is that it was quick, otherwise there are much better pizzerias in Hamm!

I have been to this restaurant several times and can only recommend it! Top service, nice cozy atmosphere, outside and inside very nice! The menu has plenty of choice, something for everyone! So far everything has been super tasty and easy to digest! Gladly again and again!

Very loud in the restaurant and we waited a long time to eat. But that was great!

I can't explain why the place has such a good reputation and is constantly packed. We've been here several times now and each time the food was just "okay" for everyone involved. Carelessly prepared, side dishes forgotten, cold dishes, no timing/interest in the service and the dough on the pizza is a crime. The grilled squid and the pizza rolls were quite good with the aioli. When the restaurant is full, the acoustics at the table are a disaster.

We've ordered and picked up lasagna several times over the last few weekends. Otherwise always very satisfied. Today we were completely disappointed. No taste, where was your salt? Not enough bolo, watery you could say. I hope this doesn't happen to us again!!!!

We feel very comfortable, but the ambience outside by the hedge doesn't fit at all with the inside and the winter garden; we would only sit there if nothing else was possible. This could be designed to be of higher quality.

The supposedly best pizzeria in Hamm has probably rested on its laurels for too long. I can't understand how anyone can find this pizzeria so good. About the service: what is it? Unfriendly service, no asking if you would like anything else to drink. Requesting the bill is virtually impossible because there is no waitress in sight. The food: what happened there? The pizza tastes like nothing. It's like smearing the pureed tomatoes on the pizza. That wasn't the case before? Does anyone not feel like it? The pizza with the special sauce (which used to be so intense) didn't taste like anything. So honestly people. Whether it works or not, do something about it. Or are too few people saying anything? Ambiance: Very nice inside, but also noisy, which can't be avoided. And if you can see the parking spaces outside, why am I complaining about the ambience? I can't join other people in that. Please, dear owner, I know that staff is difficult to find, but that's not possible. And the chef should fill up his spice rack!

Full, as always. Great food. Reservation is better. For eating on site or take away only. Prices are ok. Gladly again and again. Had a large pollo salad. Poppyseed. It was really tasty.

One star because there is no option to give “no star”. Underground!!! Subterranean pizza, even worse service. Greasy, dirty glasses, parking lot ambience, toilets unclean. We waited an hour and a half for our pizza. People who came after us got their food before us because they apparently knew the waiter privately. But honestly... if I had known that the pizza wouldn't even taste good... So if I hadn't been there with a group of 7 people, I would have left much earlier. When we asked when our food would arrive, the waiter was also cheeky. Never again!! I really can't recommend it to anyone.

Pizza was ok, but waiting 1.5 hours for the food was definitely not ok! I understand if the shop is full and there are therefore longer waiting times, but if people come after us get their food sooner (and I observed this with at least 5 tables that came after us and received their food earlier) that's fine not at all. When you spoke to the waiter, he got snotty and said the other table behind us had ordered 2 minutes earlier, that may be true, but the other 5 tables that me and my friends had observed hadn't. The food may be good, hence the many good reviews here, but the service was very poor. That's why I ate here last time. P.S. Service is one of the most important things besides food!

We waited 90 minutes for the food, which is extremely long for local pizza. There was no notice that it would take longer and a number of collections were prepared during that time. The food wasn't good enough for the price and especially not for the waiting time

One of the best Italian restaurants in Hamm, this place is traditional Italian. The service is in a timely manner and the food is always fresh, so you can’t go wrong with choosing anything off the menu. If you are a fan of traditional pizza or pasta, this is the place for you. If you have room for dessert, the famous Tiramisu is a must try. The atmosphere of this place is quite nice with an Italian style seating. The restaurant has a menu in English, so I took photos from this menu to put up here on my review. Staff are nice and welcoming and the prices are reasonable and affordable. I would recommend a visit to this restaurant.

So, I usually like to go to Media again and again or pick up food there to take home. But today it was just bad. I ordered 3 dishes plus pizza bread there and 2/3 of these dishes were wrong. I have to say that the third dish wasn't good either. The luxury pizza “Pizza Verona” probably had bad broccoli on it, which gave it a fishy aftertaste. It's probably less normal on a pizza with chicken. In addition, my pizza bread was burnt and old. By the way, that wasn't the first time I got pizza bread like this. My last point is that I don't think they ever kept the time stated on the phone. Sometimes you actually have to wait several minutes in front of the restaurant even though you leave later.

Food was quite okay. ..50 minute waiting time for a pizza which was too long for me, service I have to be honest was a catastrophe, my salad wasn't brought and I tried to bill later .. so unfortunately that was it for me with Pizzeria Media, I used to love coming here

Picked up pizza earlier than agreed. Result: lukewarm, hardly any toppings. Taste “under-seasoned. Simply bad.

Food was very tasty, the waiter who took the order seemed a bit annoyed, even though there wasn't much going on.

We are class O5 and we were bel on June 19th, 2024 The restaurant was busy, but still very tidy and clean. The atmosphere was chic. The staff were particularly nice and very friendly. The food was served quickly and tasted delicious. One of us received a birthday tiramisu as a gift. Great! Thank you - we'll be back.

Das Essen wurde schnell serviert und schmeckte super lecker. Einer von uns hat sogar ein Geburtstagstiramisu geschenkt bekommen Großartig! Dankeschön - wir kommen wieder.

Delicious food and nice service

I visited the pizzeria after a long time. Pizza tastes good as standard, but the service bothers me more. Somehow you don't feel welcome. Overall, it's not like it used to be.

Unfortunately I cannot agree with the good reputation. When I think of the term fine pizzas, I imagine something different than what you see in the picture. In addition, the food was ice cold. Maybe on busy days you should think about stopping acceptance instead of letting the food go out like that.

You are served by several waiters in a prefabricated building at a large intersection. Bread and pizza came to the table after a corresponding wait, completely ok because it was fresh. Unfortunately, the pizza didn't differ from a good pimped frozen pizza, quite the opposite. A pity.

Very busy shop, but quick and friendly service. We had the starter plate, a bottle of Frizzabtino, a bottle of Perlegrino, two main courses and two espressos. We only paid 62 euros for it and were amazed at the really cheap prices. The pizza and the pasta taste good. Even though I've had better pizza: 5 stars because the overall package is absolutely TOP.

Unfortunately we waited 1.5 hours for our food today. With such a long wait, maybe offer some bread in advance, or a schnapps at the end, that might have lightened the mood a bit... The pizza was tasty, but the base was very soft; my friend didn't really like it.

Huge selection of dishes, but no one at our table was really impressed. We had 5 pizzas and 2 pasta dishes. The bases of the normal pizzas were unfortunately very soft (spongy). I was unlucky with a shrimp/spinach/garlic/special sauce pizza: the waiter told me the special sauce was tomato with hollandaise, but it was just hollandaise. There was no garlic at all, so it was very bland. The two pasta dishes were also very “mildly” seasoned; the Gorgonzola was particularly unpalatable in Tris. However, the price of the food is very moderate. (The 26cm pizza only has a diameter of 23-24cm). But what's the killer with media on the weekend: the volume is unbearable. We would have liked to sit together with the family, but it was very uncomfortable and we left early. Due to the large crowd, the service was slow. The staff seemed partly “untrained”, but not unfriendly.
