A little bit of a vacation – they speak Italian! Great food selection, excellent cuisine, we spent a wonderful time here and will definitely be back!

Service was poor with waiter being short and rude. Felt like the waiter hated Americans and was extremely rude. Would not recommend. Food was mediocre. Best part of the food was the bread.

Bad service! Our wine was forgotten, we had no salt or pepper, no olive oil. We had to ask for everything. The items only came after we asked twice. The burrata was poorly presented. Not recommended.

An authentic Italian restaurant with a lovely ambiance. The kitchen and pizza chef deliver the highest quality. The exceptionally warm and highly professional service from the entire team is also particularly noteworthy. This makes every visit a truly delightful experience and has saved the day on more than one occasion.

Delicious pizza and great decor,

The pizza is good, as is the pasta. The meat and fish dishes are very small and the prices are quite high. Our server was very nice, but unfortunately often absent.

Far too high prices for what you get. The pasta is way too small, so no one can fill their stomachs. A small salad (just leaves) for just under €9 is way too expensive. An hour-long wait for the food, and the portions are so small, plus the pizza is completely burnt! Simply disappointing. On top of that, the food arrived that we didn't order. Our table was used as a counter, even though there was no room anyway.

Ristorante Vicari – our favorite restaurant! My daughter and I love this restaurant – if it were up to us, we'd be here every day! The food is simply fantastic. The service is also great: friendly, attentive, and warm. Since we come here regularly, the staff already know exactly what we like to eat – which makes the whole experience even more personal and enjoyable. A place to feel good, enjoy, and keep coming back. Highly recommended! 🍕❤️

I've rarely eaten so well, and the service is fantastic. The decor is tasteful, so you immediately feel at home.

The service wasn’t good. Waitress forgot about our salads we ordered and we received our entrees first. Also our salad did not have any dressing on it. Waitress also brought us seltzer water when we asked for still water. The food was average at best and did not have good flavor.

It was great. Super nice, the food was delicious. I didn't mention it was my birthday, but when the waiter found out, the dessert came with a candle...thank you so much.

My husband and I were staying near Vicari and had two incredibly amazing meals there. Our first night, we had pizzas that tasted like we were in Napoli! The ingredients were fresh and authentic. We loved the food so much, we came back a second night for steaks. The steaks were cooked to perfection! If we had stayed longer, this may have been our nightly dinner. Additionally, Carmelo provided great service and was fun and friendly. If you’re in Munich, don’t miss out on this amazing ristorante! You won’t regret it!

We had pizza—it seemed okay—and green asparagus with octopus and hollandaise sauce. Sounds great, but 5 asparagus and 2 tentacles for €23 is a bit much. It would have been okay if the whole thing hadn't been swimming in a huge amount of yellowish soup! It was like instant sauce with too much water... totally unacceptable! My apologies: it was an appetizer portion! That wasn't the question... the ratio of ingredients!!! Never again!

The Food was delicious, the people were very friendly. We went with my grandfather, and the waiter was truly patient and always had a smile for us. Absolutely recommendable.

Friendly feedback on our visit Our visit to the restaurant was probably not so lucky - maybe it was just the wrong time. A family celebration taking place at the same time understandably caused a certain amount of unrest in the proceedings. So we decided to sit outside, which unfortunately meant that we were sitting in the blazing sun without a roof - it was quite uncomfortable in the long run. The waiters met us with a very friendly friendliness and tried hard, but sometimes seemed overwhelmed. The waiting time for the main course was around 20 minutes, which was just about acceptable. It became much more tedious when ordering two espressos and a tiramisu - it took about 45 minutes, even though the service staff passed in the immediate vicinity of our table several times. Unfortunately, the food itself didn't completely convince us. Overall, the dishes seemed rather averagely prepared. The widely praised quality of the ingredients was not really evident from the taste. There were whole garlic cloves in the pasta arrabiata, which was too intense for us. The carbonara was also too salty overall, as was the bacon in it. The pizza wasn't fully baked and the arugula on it was already a little soggy. It was particularly unfortunate that we were exposed to the sun unprotected during the long waiting times - unfortunately this noticeably spoiled our overall experience. When we paid we were served by a visibly stressed but friendly waiter. Despite everything, we gave a generous tip. We personally found the prices - around 19 euros for a carbonara, 10 euros for a small tiramisu and 7.50 euros for a bottle of water - to be significantly too high, especially in relation to the quality and service we experienced. Maybe on days like this it would be helpful to plan with a little more staff in order to be able to meet the otherwise high standards of the house.

Unfortunately, I had to wait over an hour for the food (gnocchi), was repeatedly put off because of company, and in the end it turned out that the order had been lost in the kitchen... A small consolation for the patient wait had to be explicitly pointed out (it would be nice if something like that was offered automatically), there was a warm (!) limoncello, seemed somehow half-hearted... Well, there is still a lot of room for improvement.

Five stars for the delicious pizzas and the beautiful decor and ambiance of the restaurant. The prices are fair, and the pizzas are authentically traditional.

Great Italian restaurant with delicious food and great service! We had the antipasto misto and then pizza and pasta. Everything was very tasty and convincing! The selection of pizzas in particular is a little more unusual than most Italian restaurants. We were served by a lady who was very friendly and warm, looked after us well and wasn't too intrusive.

The three of us were there yesterday following a recommendation. I have to say we enjoyed it very much. The ambience is modern and very stylishly furnished. The staff is very attentive, friendly, courteous and, above all, trained. The food was absolutely delicious. We ate the dishes from the weekly menu. The high-quality ingredients justify the price and you can tell that everything is freshly prepared by hand. We can recommend this restaurant and will definitely come back often.

Unfortunately we waited an hour for our drinks, which came at the same time as the food.

It was a great experience, and the lady who's taking care of us was so nice and thoughtful. The food was amazing and they come pretty quick also.

All dishes were very good. The menu was also very varied. We also really liked the atmosphere of the restaurants. Small downer: Although the manager of the house served us extremely friendly, he unfortunately didn't show up at our table enough. He could have made a little more sales with us.😉

Excellent and richly topped pizza, only the dough could be a little airier. Service very charming and accommodating. The ambience is modern and bright, but when there are a lot of guests it gets very loud in the guest room.

The food were simply amazing! The staff are efficient and very personable! The most engaging restaurant staff I have encountered in a long while. There were 15 of us dining together but our orders arrived in a timely manner and they even remembered who ordered what. The attention to details is commendable! The place is well lit and beautifully designed. I would love to visit again!

The ingredients are carefully chosen and sound very interesting as a dish. However, the food itself does not go beyond “good” taste. The service, however, leaves a lot to be desired. We had to wait 55 minutes for the main course and, after forgetting several times, the dessert was served 45 minutes after ordering. The waiter pays little to no attention to you. And what may sound succinct, but is very annoying when eating, are the very blunt knives. If you can get tendonitis from cutting pizza, this is it. Overall, I think you can make better use of your money and time at the restaurant in beautiful Haidhausen.

Great ambience, super attentive service. Portions in the menu are surprisingly large. Only one star deducted for the very long waiting time, sometimes over an hour, despite the agreed menu. All in all, 5 stars because this can happen before Christmas.

Excellent dishes in modern, neighborhood atmosphere. Host was very accommodating and understanding with missed reservation and seated us right away. The service was fantastic even with language barrier, which Made for a fun night translating English into both German or Italian throughout the evening. Excellent pizza from the wood-fired oven, which is rare in Munich. Crispy dough and fine, high-quality ingredients justify the price. The homemade tiramisu was also very tasty. We ate lunch outside, the surroundings are very nice and relatively quiet. The service was friendly and there was a happy atmosphere.

The food “would have been” quite good for an average Italian around the corner. But the price of the restaurant is above average, significantly more expensive than our favorite upscale Italian restaurant. Price-performance ratio isn't right here, the service doesn't match the prices either! In retrospect it is clear that on the homepage you can only find a menu without prices...Long waiting time, at the table at 7.45 p.m., starters at 9 p.m., one of which was forgotten. Unfortunately we won't be coming anymore.

Excellent, we always do! The weekly menu is very interesting, original and varied, always fresh and quality products. Tastefully! In addition, the service is very helpful and attentive. Rudeest waiter ever. After waiting 20 minutes, without confirmation whether we got a table, we finally got a table. After this we were ignored and tables after us were given preference to be served first, with no explanation given to us. Strongly not recommended.

We ate two pizzas. Both were dry, it was unsalted, no oregano and no olive oil. I have no idea how pizza can be so bad. The worst thing was the cheese, which was floury and crumbly. As if they had skimped on quality. We'll never go there again!

We have been eating there for over two years and it has always been absolutely top notch!! To be honest, I can't understand the bad reviews 🤔 Price/performance was and is always okay, the service is also extremely friendly, fast and competent! Anytime again, as a group (I celebrated my birthday there) or just as a couple. Always tip-top!!! No matter whether pizza, pasta, appetizers or salad!

Absolutely recommended! Very good Italian food and the service was friendly and attentive. The mixed starter platter was a culinary experience and more than enough for 5 people. My main course was the Pizza Palma and it was also a delight.

Recommended by the hotel where I stayed. A very good recommendation indeed! Place was busy. They accommodated me at the last minute despite not having a reservation. The waiter was great and ensured that my meal went well. Pizza was excellent. Tiramisu was the star though... Go for it... you will love it!

Everything is good, nothing that stands out negatively or positively. But prices are way too high!

We ordered two plates of pasta, the first overly salted and inedible, the other with a hair in it. We understood that we were offered a desert as compensation, but we found it in the bill. For that price I would try somewhere else.

Really great, great service, great food, great prices

Pleasant atmosphere. The simple ones are best. Take dishes like pizza or pinsa. Octopus a bit bland, grilled sea bream (27.80) too dry, crown of lamb overcooked, but not bad. A good wine list in itself, but the good, reasonably priced wines from WG Terlan (Cuvee for €40 and Winkl Sauvignon for €45) were unfortunately both apparently drunk, the rather pushy waiter recommended the Terlan Quartz instead, which only became clear when we asked to bring that the proud cost 120 €. I then followed the strong recommendation for the Chardonnay Damilano, which was not on the menu, without mentioning a price. It wasn't bad, but not necessarily worth the €85 they asked for.

We didn't have reservations, but there was a enough place and the kind waiter gave us nice table. Nice atmosphere, great choice of vines from 9 EUR per glass to more then 100Euro per bottle. Food was delicious.

Beim Pizzateig hat Salz gefehlt sonst lecker gewesen. Allerdings wurde 2,5 Euro extra berechnet für einen zweiten Teller weil man sich eine Pizza geteilt hat. Das fand ich ziemlich dreist.

Top Pizza ! Zwar nicht ganz billig aber wirklich eine lohnende Offenbarung. Getränke (alleine schon das Wasser) gehen aber etwas arg ins Geld....

Man kann draußen sitzen und essen. Und das überdacht. Die Inneneinrichtung ist gemütlich ansprechend. Leider hat es gedauert bis zur ersten Bestellung. Der Laden war aber auch voll besetzt. Der angebotene Rose war excellent.

Wir waren hier am Feiertag Abendessen und es war hervorragend. Der Kellner war sehr aufmerksam und angenehm, die Einrichtung ist sowieso sehr stilvoll und das Essen war wirklich sehr gut. Sowohl Pizza als auch Pinsa und Pasta waren top. Besonders die Trüffel Pasta aus dem Parmesanlaib war herausragend.
