Pizzeria El Greco Düsseldorf in Düsseldorf

I wish I could give it zero stars. After calling three times and waiting for 1:40 hours, the food finally arrived: The pizzas had little to no tomato sauce. The gyro was dry (all five pieces). Barely any toppings... It's outrageous. If I could, I'd give it zero stars.

We received the wrong, cheaper order. After a phone call, the delivery man came to supposedly refund the costs. My boyfriend ran back to the apartment to get the food, and when he got back downstairs, the delivery man was gone again. We haven't even been refunded the difference. We'll never order from them again. Never, ever. Somehow, nobody wants to go to work these days.

People don't order because the pizza is firstly disgustingly dry and the dough is too thin no tomato sauce on it, or rather little and + waited too long and + I ordered a margarita with mushrooms and they put fresh tomatoes on it, that's why people don't even order it not because

Super chill place with really polite staff. I felt anxious speaking German as it’s been years and my German sucks now, but they still served me and were really kind. The menu is affordable and the food is amazing. I’ll have to try not to go every day, if I’m honest.

Meat looks good but unfortunately does not taste good

I am very dissatisfied with my order. The delivery was over an hour late, the order was incorrect, and the meat wasn't cooked all the way through. It was a complete disappointment. No concession or apology from the restaurant. I will never order from there again and absolutely cannot recommend it!

I've been a customer of El Greco for years and would say I've ordered around 150 pizzas from them in the last three years. Today I had an experience that was also new to me. I ordered something to eat and also had an order from El Greco in my shopping cart. When I noticed this, I called immediately (7 minutes later) and wanted to clear up the misunderstanding. I understand that an order is a purchase contract, but to be told the pizza was already on its way (7 minutes after ordering) and didn't arrive for 20 minutes made me feel really ripped off. Not even a sign of understanding, despite years of ordering. As I said, I know it's difficult to cancel something like this, but it was clear to me that after this incident, I never wanted to order from a place like this again. The way they treat their customers and regulars is definitely not a priority at this place.

Ordering the right poop shed takes an unusually long time.

The pizzas were well topped and tasted very good. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The chef was able to provide detailed information about the ingredients used. We were very satisfied and can recommend this restaurant.

Diverse and tasty offering, perhaps a bit too large to get all the dishes on the menu of the same quality. I like to order here because the prices are comparatively cheap and the quality of the food is generally above what you would expect for the prices. The ambience on site is okay, but for me it's more of a place to order in than to eat there.

The gyros and tzatziki were good, the fries were even better. Orders arrived quickly, and everything was great!

The food is good. The service, or rather, the delivery service, is a disaster! A year ago, I waited a whopping 2 hours for the food!!! Instead of the advertised 40 minutes over the phone, today it took 1 hour 20 minutes. PLUS, I forgot the drinks... AFTER complaining directly to the delivery person and after a phone call to El Greco, they delivered the food 30 minutes after receiving it. That's absolutely no fun... I'd like to have everything together and not have to wait another 30 minutes for a drink after eating the food. It's a shame...

Instead of getting Ben and Jerry Cookie Dough twice as ordered, I got peanut butter twice and they still claim that they called me and told me that it was out of stock, which is a lie. Fantastic service and a 10 out of 10 in terms of taste. Here, meal after meal, the palate is flattered in every possible way. The Greek we trust!

An institution and an integral part of my/our lives for 20 years. Whether delivered or on site in the finest ambience with friendly service. Not a week goes by without contact.

Our expectations were rather low due to the reviews, but we were all pleasantly surprised. The portions were large and the food was delicious. The map offers a large selection.

Was at El Greco for what felt like 10 years, we used to eat there every weekend with the team. Not much has changed. The food is top. Location is renovated. I'll come back any time.

We ordered for work for the first time and we were satisfied, it was solid and good. The store has a large selection of different dishes, the focus is on pizza, pasta and Greek dishes. Greek starters, salads, pizza, pizza rolls, pasta, casseroles, gyros, meat dishes, fish, baguettes, schnitzels, snack classics, desserts, there is something for everyone. The delivery was on time and the delivery person was friendly. We ordered casseroles, salads, starters and a meat dish. Everyone at the table was happy and thought it was tasty, it was solid and OK, and the prices were reasonable. Thank you 😃👍

Food is not to be enjoyed Gyros with Metaxa sauce so hot that you can't eat it Gyros with soft fries in tzatziki farmer's salad almost only tomatoes with a few cucumbers 2 small cubes of sheep's cheese and 2 pepperoni simply outrageous and disgusting

It's always been the same for years. The price is good, but the man seems to have a massive problem with his staff. Either the employees don't manage to bring the order (2 items) or you are treated condescendingly or insulted. I would recommend a name change from El Greco to El Ghetto.

Absolutely disastrous service. Ordered food directly from El Greco. Food arrived cold and there were no drinks. Driver said he would come back immediately with the drinks. 1 hour later he came. His explanation: “Well.” Thanks El Greco!

Unfortunately I didn't like it at all. And gyros with fries for just under €15 are expensive and, in principle, not rocket science. Unfortunately no repeat.

Simple but good Greek restaurant.

The food is "ok", it's not necessarily a feast for the palate. The tzatziki is a little too thin and a little too spicy. The quality of the meat is also "okay", you won't spoil your stomach. The salad wasn't delivered the second time and one person was sad. Luckily it was brought to us. We don't order there anymore.

Been there today after the game, lady was fast and friendly. But sorry, paying EUR 11,20 for mediocre gyros with tzatziki is pathetic (usually no more than EUR 8,00 in the area). Have not been there for exactly 12 years, and it will take me another 12 at least. Can NOT recommend, alternatives are plenty.

We were very disappointed. The pizza rolls were very dry (old!), the pita bread was dry, the schnitzel had a soggy consistency and the fries were floury. It's a shame about the evening and a shame about the money.

Saddest pita I've ever eaten. Soggy flatbread and exactly one forkful of coleslaw per 500g of dry, seasonless meat. Not eatable. Delivery took forever on a Sunday at 2 p.m.

Luckily there was this shop near my hotel and I ate something at a very good price for Germany. Welcoming and helpful.

Positive: Food came quicker than promised. A bottle of cola was included free of charge. Negative: The cola was the only thing that tasted good. Things were missing and there was no response when asked. Tough meat, salad looked unappetizing. Absolutely not recommended. €35 with a tip could have been better spent. Addendum: 45 minutes after the first delivery the driver came and wanted to deliver the forgotten items. I politely declined because we had already thrown away what we didn't eat.

Weder satt , noch schmackhaft , einer der schlechtesten Griechen in Düsseldorf. Als Grieche braucht man da echt keinen Fuss rein zu setzen ! Bei der Gyros Pita musste ich das Fleisch suchen und die Pommes haben Jahres Urlaub in Afrika gemacht , extrems dunkel, anderer Geschmack,vermute das sie mit dem billigeren Palmöl gebraten sind ! Komischer Nachgeschmack im Mund ! 0 empfehlenswert

I loved it🤌 The pizza was so soft and thin and the ingridients really fresh and tasty. I really liked it. I took Pizza Athen, so good. Also the patatoes👌 loved them. I prefer mayo. What I like is that the price is really low for the quality that they offer.

Also el greco ist die hervorragende Wahl bei mal mehr oder weniger schneller Lieferung bei kleinsten Portemonnaie. Der geringe Mindestbestellwert ist der hauptfaktor für eine Bestellung. Leider ist das essen lauwarm bis kalt bei der Hälfte der Bestellungen. Aber der Gyros ist definitiv zum satt werden. Für einzelbestellungen kann man das mal machen .

Spare Ribs waren ganz gut, bisschen zu schwarz. Gyros leider recht fad. Salate viel zu säurehaltig. Pommes recht matschig (ist normal bei gelieferten Pommes), Portion zu klein für 12€ (Gyrosteller). Tzatziki hat sehr nach Quark geschmeckt.

Food have almost no taste, Salat without Dressing,late service. When I called,staff told me in 15 minutes is ready to Pick Up ,I came and wait 15 more minutes.

Bestellen kann man hier in der Regel gut, das Essen schmeckt. Bisher war ich auch gerne mal vor Ort, aber in letzter Zeit wird hier immer irgendwas, ob nun von Kellner oder Küche, versemmelt. Klar, Fehler können jedem passieren, aber wenn man nach längerer Wartezeit dann trockene Nudeln mit Käse überbacken serviert bekommt (kein Witz, das ist wirklich so passiert) weil der Koch angeblich die Sauce vergessen hat, kann das schon ein richtiger Stimmungskiller sein. Ansonsten wird auch mal aus Pizzabrötchen dann einfach ein Pitabrot gemacht und dann natürlich hinterher auch das teurere Gericht berechnet, obwohl man drauf aufmerksam gemacht hat, dass etwas anderes bestellt wurde. Wenn man hungrig ist, hat man halt keine Lust noch länger warten zu müssen. Service vor Ort alles in allem eine Katastrophe… tut mir leid, ich bin ein geduldiger Mensch, aber sich solche Fehler zu leisten und die Kundschaft trotzdem voll bezahlen zu lassen ist für mich ein No-Go.

Für den Mittagstisch ganz OK. Für Abends ist das Essen nichts besonderes. Besonders negativ war, dass die Vorspeise (Suppe) während des Hauptgangs serviert wurde. Die Krönung war dann, als nach 21 Uhr Mitarbeiter anfingen laute Reparaturarbeiten am gesprungen Glas der Eingangstür durchzuführten. War wohl das letzte Mal, dass ich dort Abends gegessen habe.

Ich habe über die Internetseite dieses Restaurants bestellt. Bekam auch eine Bestätigungsmail. Da stand drin, Lieferzeit 45 Min. Ok es ist Samstag, also habe ich weiter gewartet. Nach 1 Std 40 Min habe ich angerufen, es hieß, meine Bestellung wäre unterwegs. Nach weiteren 45 Min rief ich wieder an. Dann hieß es plötzlich, von mir wäre gar keine Bestellung da und das System verschickt die Mails. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nicht empfehlen!!!

Tja schade. Bestelle hier seit 10 Jahren 1x in der Woche. Nun bin ich umgezogen und einen Kilometer von Liefergebiet entfernt. Trotz meines Angebots mehr Liefergebühren zu zahlen war das leider nicht möglich. Scheint ja gut zu laufen der Laden, wenn man Stammkunden so behandelt.

Ich bestelle hier seit 20 Jahren, das Essen ist immer gut, besonders Pizza, Bifteki und Gyros sind Spitze.

Wir haben Ewigkeiten auf unsere Lieferung warten müssen und leider war das Essen geschmacklich eine Katastrophe. Billig verpackt, dadurch feucht und komplett matschige Pommes. Nie wieder

Es erinnerte uns mehr an eine Kneipe als an ein Restaurant. Die Inhaberin war freundlich aber irgendwie lustlos. Ähnlich lieblos war das Essen angerichtet und serviert, ABER dafür war es wirklich lecker. Das Fleisch war sehr zart und die Beilagen gut zubereitet und gewürzt. Der Preis war angemessen. Kann man machen, ist ok.

Gyros ist ganz ok. Pizzabrötchen waren durchgeweicht und nicht gut verpackt. Würde dort nicht nochmal bestellen.

ΜΑΚΡΙΑ ΠΑΙΔΙΑ!!! ΟΣΟΙ ΓΝΩΡΊΖΕΤΕ ΑΠΟ ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΗ ΦΙΛΟΞΕΝΙΑ ΚΑΙ ΚΟΥΛΤΟΥΡΑ ΑΥΤΟ ΤΟ ΜΑΧΑΖΙ ΔΕΝ ΤΑ ΕΧΕΙ!!! Πήγαμε να φαμε γυρο και καταλήξαμε να πληρωσουμε €43 για λαθος συνεννόηση και εξτρα πιάτα που μας έφεραν, τα οποια δεν τα επερναν πισω μετα και μας τα χρεωσαν να τα παρουμε μαζι μας. ΟΤΙ ΧΕΙΡΟΤΕΡΟ!!!

Sogar 1 Stern ist zu viel für diesen Laden! Um 00:08 Uhr bestellt und die 2 Pizzen und die Pizzabrötchen wurden um 01:40 Uhr geliefert. Lauwarm! Pizzabrötchen wurden nur mit Thunfisch bestellt und wir bekamen die inklusive Zwiebeln. Somit landeten diese direkt in denn Müll. Am Telefon habe ich mehrmals drum gebeten, dass man nicht Schellen soll. Wurde auch ignoriert. Zudem habe ich eine Cola Zero bestellt und bekam eine normale Cola! Einsicht wurde nicht gezeigt. Das halbe Essen landete im Müll! Wallah NIE WIEDER! Lieber mit leeren Magen schlafen gehen!

Ich Poste diese Bewertung neu, weil sie von Google abgelehnt worden ist. Vermutlich war ich doch sehr unfreundlich. Deswegen habe ich die Bewertung noch einmal etwas freundlicher geschrieben, ohne die ganzen Bösen Dinge die mir vor Zwei Jahren durch den Kopf gegangen sind. Um 0:45 Bestellt, Restaurant stand noch bis 1:00 offen. Wir haben jetzt 4:25 und die Bestellung ist nie angekommen. Weder noch eine E-Mail das es storniert wird noch sonst irgend etwas. Wir haben fröhlich gewartet und uns auch sehr darauf gefreut noch einen Lieferdienst gefunden zu haben, der offen hat. Es ist okay am 24.12 auf den 25.12 geschlossen zu haben oder früher zu schließen als üblich. Nur was überhaupt nicht geht ist, das Bestellsystem auf seiner eigenen Webseite einfach weiter laufen zu lassen. Sowas ist keine tolle Erfahrung von der man anderen gerne erzählt. Ob ihr nun keine Lust mehr darauf hattet, so kurz vor Schluss noch zu liefern, oder ihr bereits geschlossen wart und euer Bestellsystem weiter lief... weder das eine, noch das andere ist kundenfreundlich. Da dürft ihr euch gerne selber Gedanken zu machen El Greco. Ich habe schon öfters bei euch bestellt und das Essen war aus meiner Sicht durchschnitt... Mal was besser und mal nicht wirklich lecker. Bei den Pommes habe ich immer am meisten sorge, weil die auch schon einfach nur roh geschmeckt haben und auch eher labberig. Wirklich knusprig kamen sie nie (liegt wohl an der Zeit da ich oft nach 12 Bestelle). Aber nach dem heutigen Tag bin ich einfach sauer und mal eure Bewertungen durchgegangen und bin schon ein wenig Enttäuscht und entsetzt, wie viele Leute sich immer wieder über das selbe beschweren. Hier eine schnelle Aufzählung und Zusammenfassung der letzten 2 Jahre 5x Beschwerde über nicht erhaltene Bestellung 20x Beschwerde über die Wartezeit 26x Beschwerde über kaltes essen 5x Fahrer hat sich verfahren 2x Bestellung irgendwo abgegeben und nicht aufzufinden 5x Kunde hat falsche Bestellung erhalten 8x Es fehlen Artikel in der Bestellung 2x Tiefgefrorenes Tiramisu 41x Beschwerde das das Essen Gar nicht geschmeckt hat 21x Beschwerden über den Service am Telefon und vor Ort Selbst wenn da viele positive zwischen sind, negative Bewertungen sind die um die es sich zu kümmern gilt und nicht auf den Positiven ausruhen. Das da oben sind einfach Dinge, die IHR ändern könnt! Wirklich das ist kein Hexenwerk, nehmt euch doch einfach mal endlich den Beschwerden an. Denn das Internet vergisst nicht. Wenn jemand das erste mal bei euch bestellt und die Historie durchschaut wird er sofort nicht bestellen oder enttäuscht sein und sich sagen, dass er auf die Rezensionen hören hätte sollen. Für alle die Bestellen wollen, mein Ratschlag: Rechnet damit, dass die Bestellung je nach Tageszeit länger dauert, ihr unfreundlich angemacht werdet wenn ihr nachfragt, wo das essen bleibt, euer essen Kalt sein könnte wenn es überhaupt ankommt und eventuell teile wie Trinken, Soßen ETC fehlen könnten und vor allem, dass es euch eventuell nicht schmecken könnte. Ich sage hier aber auch klar: Es kann sein, dass es auch schmeckt :) Versucht es einfach. Der Laden existiert schon sehr lange. Vermutlich wird sich da einfach auf den Lorbeeren ausgeruht. Was mich am meisten Schockiert hat beim Scrollen war, wie schnell der Counter für die Beschwerden über den Geschmack und die Qualität des Essens hoch ging. Ich dachte das sei nur so bei "Der schnelle Grieche" der mindestens noch schlechter ist, das Essen dort war eine wirkliche Katastrophe! Meine ehrliche Bitte und ein gut gemeinter Ratschlag an euch ist simpel: Bitte geht einfach freundlicher mit euren Kunden um - Denn diese Kunden sind der Grund, warum euer Laden jeden Monat die miete und eure Mitarbeiter zahlen könnt. Seid einfach dankbar für jeden Kunden der bei euch bestellt. Gerade in der quarantänezeit verlassen sich noch mehr Menschen auf die Lieferservice. Und achtet ein wenig auf das was ihr da raus gebt ;) Checkt immer ob ihr das gerade selber essen würdet. Wenn die Antwort nein lautet, dann macht die Bestellung neu. Ihr könnt das besser :)

Hatte eine wunschpizza, habe unter anderem extra Geld für Zwiebeln bezahlt aber da waren keine drauf. Die Pizza schmeckt jetzt nicht so gut. Der Rand schmeckt pampig.. Nuggets waren auch leider sehr weich. Ist das so ? Kenne Nuggets nur knusprig, sry 26€ für 1 Bestellung die sich nicht gelohnt haben
