Pizzeria D'Angella Antonio in Schwalmstadt

Quaint little restaurant, was there a few years ago when passing through. The pasta was like medicine - good medicine. I took a considerable detour on the way from north to south to eat there again. Nothing has changed, very pleasant these days…. The family cooks themselves, no industrial waste, great! Anyone who expects a chic restaurant is here out of place. Would take a detour again at any time drive to stop there.

As a child I ate my first pizza of my life here. Incomparably good. It was always number 19 🍕 Last Sunday I was there again after almost 30 years. And what a surprise, nothing has changed. Neither the restaurant nor the quality of the pizza. And it's still 19 😀 I love consistency! Please stay like that - it was a huge pleasure for me 🥲

The food tastes excellent. The wines too. In a word: Bravissimo

We used to like to order from Toni. We have been disappointed the last three times. 😕 What a shame! Since we always found the tomato sauce 🍅 on the pizza very tasty, we were even more disappointed that it is almost no longer available on the pizzas. As other reviews have stated, the pizzas were completely dry. This made them difficult to cut. 🪵🪚

The food is delicious. The owner family is very nice. You feel very comfortable.

A real family pizzeria. Good food for a good price. Cooked and served by multiple generations. We always enjoy going there and can only give one recommendation.

Unfortunately, both the pizza and pasta don't taste good at all. Definitely missing spice here.

The pizza was very tasty. I enjoyed the food.

We ordered food at 6:50 p.m. and after 2 vicious calls it finally arrived at 10:00 p.m. The rice was cold and there was even something missing. You couldn't understand the person on the phone and once they just hung up. They apologized, but I can't buy anything from that. Overall we can't recommend it. The one star is only given because there is no other way.

Eating a pizza with friends in the oldest pizzeria in town was gone relatively quickly. The pizza was dry and the dough was beyond hard. A pity! I was used to different things.

Kleine Pizzeria, die noch den klassischen Charme der 80er hat. Der Inhaber kocht noch selbst und das sollte auch so bleiben. Es war lecker und bestimmt nicht unser letzter Besuch.

Great evening here tonight! The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating despite our speaking no German, and helped make our evening a lot of fun. Delicious food and wine. So happy we stumbled upon this little gem.
