Pizzeria Da Linda in Mannheim

I ordered two party pizzas for delivery yesterday. I haven't had such good pizza in a long time. The delivery time was a bit long due to traffic, but the food and taste of the pizza were excellent. I can definitely recommend this restaurant.

A lovely little restaurant that not only offers delicious Italian dishes but also a wide selection of desserts. The service is very friendly and attentive.

I ordered through Lieferando and unfortunately only received a very, very small portion. Unfortunately, the food was also cold. I'm very disappointed and unfortunately can't recommend the restaurant.

We went to this café/pastry shop for the first time yesterday. I had a variety of pastries, including some with ricotta. I have to say, I've never had such good ricotta here in Germany! Really good compliments. Too bad I live two hours away. Otherwise, I'd be stopping by every Sunday. But I'll be back just for your wonderful ricotta ❤️ and your kindness. See you soon!

Every time we pass through Mannheim we can't miss their delicious pastries, especially the cream ones, delicious!

We went there yesterday for a cappuccino and were pleasantly surprised by the large selection of Italian treats. Italian feeling in the squares 😉 Otherwise, I'm a little ashamed to have visited this Italian institution in Mannheim for the first time after 35 years.

Truly the best thing I've ordered in a long time. The food was excellent, superb quality, and beautifully presented. We ordered through Lieferando, and I was really pleasantly surprised! The mixed antipasti was amazing! You don't usually get that kind of thing through any ordering system. The arancini were a dream, the pizza was super delicious, and the salad was just as delicious! Thank you so much, we'll definitely order again!

The pizza was truly delicious. It certainly didn't come from a run-of-the-mill oven; it was incredibly crispy. Very good, except for the dentures 😉.

I don't recommend it. First of all, the menu was only in German (thanks, Google Translate). I ordered a ham, salami, and mushroom pizza, and it was as if the raw ingredients had been placed on top of the hot cheese without being baked. Normally, mushrooms aren't supposed to be placed raw, but rather baked with the pizza. The pizza was "edible," but I can't say it was good.

Tonight was a complete disaster! The pasta arrived cold twice, and the warmed pizza was black. Unfortunately, I can't attach a photo. To top it all off, the manager scolded us at the end, saying it was impertinent to ask for a discount (even though we had already told the waiter before eating that this pizza deserved one). Large portions were uneatable because the pizza was so black. Last time, someone at the next table was smoking weed. Unfortunately, we didn't get any support from the manager when it came to asking the other guests to stop—even though we had a baby with us! Don't come here under any circumstances!!!

We've been here many times. We actually didn't want to come back after the last time because the boss allowed people to smoke weed at the next table, even though we had a baby with us. Today was the worst: cold carbonara, even the second time it was reheated, and a calzone that was put back in the oven and we only managed to eat half of it. When we then wanted a prize, the boss gave us a really rude rant and ended up threatening us. TERRIBLE!!!

Nice place, good service. The pastries at the counter are good, and the babà are very good. Ideal for an Italian-style breakfast.

A well-kept and welcoming place, with good food and service. The last time we were there, we ordered a seafood risotto and a Margherita pizza. The risotto was truly delicious 👍. We recommend this place both for a meal on the premises and as a pastry shop for traditional Italian desserts for special occasions.

We ordered through the Lieferando App. The time was 30-45 minutes despite 500meter distance and we accepted and Payed with Paypal. 1hour 15 minutes later we called and told us the order was on the way to our adresse. We waited 10minutes and told us the delivery is ready and now will collect from dhe delivery guy. 10minutes later around 1h 35minutes later delivery came and was not fresh, the pizza was around 20-25 minutes in the box. Was not cuted we had to use hands to make on slices. In my opinion ,Bad experience. The 42€ was not worthy at all.

Whether it's dolci, pizza, or pasta, you'll find everything your heart desires here! Authentic Italian cuisine. The café and the small pastry shop are highly recommended! Arrancini to go are available depending on the season. We love going there. Highly recommended!

Delicious Sicilian desserts with ricotta

Excellent restaurant and more. Excellent desserts and also, you can taste appetizers, first courses and second courses. Well arranged inside. Clean and welcoming room and bathroom. In really very good coffee. Competent and qualified staff on the subject. They have quality and Sicilian products.

I recently visited this little restaurant in the city center. The menu offers a wide range of traditional dishes, so there is something to suit every taste. I was particularly impressed by the staff, who were extremely friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was cozy and you immediately felt welcome. I tried a delicious lasagna and a freshly baked pizza there and was more than satisfied. Additionally, we bought some pastries that we later enjoyed at home - not only were they fresh, but they also tasted great.

It makes excellent cakes, the only flaw is the parking

Late on a Saturday evening we were at DaLinda's at the end of our food tour to munch on some Italian delicacies. For €10 we got a box full to the brim. The employee was very nice, the treats were delicious, we would love to come back!

Nice Italian restaurant, you have a good selection of tasty dishes, great little tarts and sweet specialties. Unfortunately, the carbonara is a different recipe than before, although it is also good, but not typical with hard cheese and black pepper as it was previously served, which is a shame.

Every time I buy cupcakes from there and every time the same piece is charged to a different bill, today I was there and bought another one of these cupcakes and I held €5 in my hands and I was charged €5. My question is whether I had €10 in my hands. Would you charge so much for the cupcakes I once asked for that they cost €1 each, and each time the shop owner himself charged more than the actual amount? The sweet food in the whole store is perfect, everything is very tasty and clean, recommended place for everyone, but I just can't understand these sweets? which the owner calculates differently every time..

I'm disappointed, the portions are getting smaller and smaller. Charging 5 euros for a mini side salad, ugh. We always enjoyed going there, but we won't come anymore because the boss didn't respond to our complaint at all. It doesn't seem to matter, the restaurant is full, very unprofessional.

I can only recommend it. A Lambrusco that flattered the palate rounded off the successful dinner. Many pastas are fresh and homemade every day. A beautiful and typically Sicilian family restaurant. Very clean sanitary facilities. Great people, great food, nice ambience inside and out.

Unfortunately it wasn't our taste at all. The fried potatoes had a strange aftertaste and were really mushy instead of crispy as it should be. The turkey schnitzel was really hard & very, very dry..

A piece of Sicily in Mannheim. I should actually go there more often than I do. It's definitely my favorite pizza place here. In addition to the pizzas, the arancini are also highly recommended, as is the cannoli for dessert. It tastes the same as I got to know it in Sicily. How lucky to have such a pizzeria in Mannheim.

I went there for ice cream with friends. The ice cream was very good, but the fruit in the sundae was not of very high quality. The toilets were noticeably well maintained. As usual in all Italian restaurants, they were very child-friendly.

Food great, Pattiserie 1A. I've known the shop for 10 years but why has there been no service for everyone recently? No service with a card or order taken, poor service, so my coffee came with "Sorry, I spilled a little". And I was there for a business meeting, which I immediately continued somewhere else.

Super Laden, super Essen, vorallem liebe ich die Pattiserie aber auf eine gewisse Kundschaft haben die anscheinend keine Lust, da die Bedienung weder an den Tisch kommt, noch eine Karte bringt, gar nicht bekümmert ist und den Kaffee ausgeschüttet bringt und nicht mal eine Serviette da lässt um diese zu wischen.. Einfach nur, "tut mir leid ist bisschen verschüttet" siehe Foto.

It's the first and last time I'm here. It's terrible what the boss does, the coke we ordered comes in a glass and he pours it out of a big 2 liter plastic bottle and he charges €3 for the coke, a shame.

I was with a colleague and never again, we ordered a Coca-Cola, they served us Coca-Cola in ordinary glasses without the original bottle, so what they do, they take a large 2 liter Coca-Cola from the store and pours it into the glass, the price is €3 and he gets a 2 liter bottle of cola for less than €3... Inspection must come!!!

I love dining out and I really liked this restaurant because of its hospitality. In the evening when I was watching a football match it was cool, I asked for a blanket and they brought it to me. I will definitely come back to watch football

I ate there for the first time. It's a small pizzeria not exactly very nice. The large heaters are striking. The pizza is very limp and I don't think it tastes that good either! The soft drinks for 2.50 from the bottle. Well I don't need it anymore

We were warmly welcomed here and were able to choose our own seating. The lasagne and Italiana salad were also really good. I also found it positive, especially now during the European Championships, where you can have a nice drink or something to eat while watching the European Championships. An extra bonus for football fans. We were satisfied here and would of course like to come back.

I've been there several times and also had food delivered to my home. Nice, rather smaller restaurant (in the summer months it is also possible to sit outside). The service is good, the food always comes quite quickly. Dishes from the daily menu are highly recommended and have never been disappointed here. The pizzas are great too. Card payment possible, unfortunately tips are only accepted in cash.

Centrally located, easy to reach by public transport. Average Italian restaurant that offers delicious desserts and fine Italian pastries, but I've had better pizza, pasta and carne elsewhere. What always puts me off a bit is when fish dishes smell like fish. Conclusion: you can, but you don't have to.

Best pizza in town! Home-delivered pizza is simply awesome! Ordering on a Sunday and having a fresh, warm, delicious pizza delivered to you in less than half an hour is really a rarity!

Great pizza in the center of Mannheim

We went to Kazwoo, a jazz café that has a collaboration with Ristorante da Linda: you can have food delivered directly here while listening to live jazz. Great idea! We had the starter plate for two people, which was basically tasty, beautifully presented and the portion was neither too much nor too little. However, the black olives and pepperoni announced on the menu were missing. It's a shame because one person in our group was really looking forward to it... Well, it can happen that they are out. Aaaaabut the sauce from the vitello tonnato only tasted like mayonnaise :( no tuna and no white wine anywhere. But the seafood salad was very tasty. Still: for 30 € I think it's a bit poor. And there wasn't any bread either :-/ It's a shame !

Sehr leckeres Essen! Die Penne all Arrabiata hat extrem lecker geschmeckt (aus frischen Cocktailtomaten!) Bei der Pizza Tonno gibts auch nichts auszusetzen, so muss eine Pizza schmecken! Bestellen gerne wieder, absolute Empfehlung!
