The food is good and tasty, and the service is efficient. But that's about it. I'm deducting one star because I found it a bit too expensive for the portion sizes and the drinks.

We had dinner at the Augusta Restaurant. It was once again a culinary delight. The pizza bread, the pizza, and the pasta were all delicious. The sea bream fillet was delicious, but the beef fillet with chanterelle mushrooms and mashed potatoes was also a taste explosion in the mouth. We paid €150 for three pasta dishes, a pizza, the fish dish, and the meat dish, plus a 1-liter bottle of water and soft drinks...very good value for money.

Celebrity hangout But expensive & run-of-the-mill...

There were four of us there and we were excellently looked after. The food was excellent, and the champagne was delicious. It's great that this traditional restaurant is still operating, given that it has hosted several celebrities.

This time I ordered online here. What can I say? We didn't like it. Pizzas were cold. Hardly any cheese on it. I asked for balsamic dressing to go with the salad (as I got it on site) but unfortunately I didn't get it, the salad was totally dry and inedible)

It was a bit cold in the winter garden. the cool outside temperature, the patio heaters only helped to a limited extent.

We discovered this nice restaurant within walking distance of our hotel and were able to stop in here without a reservation. The people in service are very courteous and we ordered the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and the pizza with gamberi on recommendation. Both dishes were well made, the noodles were a little too hard, the sauce was well seasoned. The pizza was well baked, with small Gamberi, lightly topped, a little too small. We ate well, met a super friendly senior waiter and the head chef and were able to pay just about adequately for these portion sizes.

Laufgünstig zu unserem Hotel, haben wir dieses nette Lokal entdeckt und konnten hier ohne Reservierung einkehren. Sehr zuvorkommenden sind die Menschen im Service und wir orderten auf Empfehlung die Tagliatelle mit Steinpilzen und die Pizza mit Gamberi. Beide Gerichte waren ordentlich gemacht, die Nudeln etwas zu hart, der Sugo fein abgeschmeckt. Die Pizza gut gebacken, mit kleinen Gamberi, leicht belegt, etwas zu klein geraten. Wir haben gut gegessen, einen freundlichen Seniorkellner und den Chefkoch kennengelernt und für diese Portionsgrößen gerade noch angemessen bezahlen dürfen.

I ate here 25 years ago in 1999. Mr. Scurti was a patient of mine in a dental clinic. He was a wonderfully modest man. He invited me to "his little pizza place". I showed up, typical americanerin. I was thinking it would be a standard imbiss. It was outstanding. The food was phenomenal. The atmosphere absolutely charming. I only worked in Mannheim one year, but dear Herr Scurti made such an impression with his humility, hospitality, hard work, and outstanding chef skills that 25 years later I still remember him with great love and kindness. May his "little pizza place" continue forever. God bless you, Frau Jodi

I've known Augusta for almost 50 years now. The owner Giovanni is one of a kind, with a heart of gold and a big heart for athletes. Just an authentic, rock-solid artist at the stove. Unfortunately, the Augusta will soon be closing its doors forever, but his two children will be opening a new restaurant at another location in Mannheim, where, as they have assured me, their dad will continue to provide support and advice. I would like to thank Giovanni and his family very much for his tireless commitment and his excellent cooking skills. This restaurant has made Mannheim a better place. Thank you very much and all the best for your well-deserved retirement.

Only ate pizzas with the family, but it was one of the best pizzas I've eaten. The ingredients were plentiful and, above all, fresh. The dough was well baked and tasted wonderful. Recommended.

Familienbetrieb. Besonders im Sommer kann man dort sehr gut sitzen. Vom Essen waren wir noch nie enttäuscht. Jedes mal wenn ich in Mannheim bin kehre ich dort ein.

Ich fand das Restaurant Augusta richtig gut. Man wurde herzlich empfangen und auch während dem Aufenthalt war der Service ein Traum. Immer wieder gern würde ich vorbeikommen wenn ich in der Nähe bin. Das Essen wär grandios und die Portionen sehr großzügig .Preisleistung ist mehr als zufriedenstellend ( man merkt und schmeckt die Qualität)

Nun wissen wir, das Augusta Restaurant ist sehr gut, und wird seines guten Rufes jederzeit gerecht. Sehr gut in jeder Hinsicht. Das Essen ist hervorragend. Authentisch auf jeden Fall.Die Freundlichkeit des Personals, unbestritten. Wir wurden sehr gut bedient und freundlich zuvorkommend behandelt. Wir kommen mit Sicherheit wieder.

Man kommt sich vor wie in Italien. Sehr herzlicher Empfang durch den Chef. Personal ebenfalls sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Es wurde soagr noch gezaubert und wir bekamen einen Tisch auf der Terasse, obwohl wir innen reserviert hatten. Portionen sind üppig, lecker und haben ein sehr gutes Preis Leistungsverhältniss. Es gibt keinen Hipster-Hopster Schicki Micki. Traditionelle, ehrliche italienische Küche wie bei Mutti. Sehr zu empehlen.
