Pizzeria Calma Caos in Frankfurt am Main

The waiters were really welcoming and nice expect the manager who was rude and laughed at us because we are British. We ordered pizza, they were okay, quite dry. Wouldn’t return or recommend.

Centrally located restaurant on Kaiserstraße in Frankfurt. In addition to pizza, there are also salads and pasta. So there is something for everyone. Despite being busy at lunchtime, the service was quick and friendly. The food itself was super delicious. Gladly again.

I've been here several times now and every time it's been delicious. The service is very friendly and the food comes super quickly. My tip: The homemade lemonade and bruschetta is really the best I've ever had!!!

Super nice restaurant with very tasty food. The pizzeria has a great selection of dishes, a beautiful atmosphere and offers very friendly and attentive service! The dishes all taste absolutely delicious, thanks to fresh ingredients and the portions are plentiful and beautifully prepared. Never and nowhere in Frankfurt have I eaten such delicious Italian food, number 1!! The drinks you can enjoy here are just as great! We are very satisfied here and would love to come back again and again. Simply recommended!!!

I ordered there for the second time tonight with colleagues. Both times it tasted very good and everyone was happy with either pizza or pasta. The salads are also very good and don't just have the classic run-of-the-mill ingredients. Unfortunately, every time I got something wrong. The first time, the extra anchovies were missing from the pizza, but today I was particularly disappointed with the Nutella Pizza alla Frutti. There wasn't a single piece of fruit on it, I can't understand how anyone could forget that. Then I thought it might just be a name, but according to the pictures posted here, it definitely has fruit on it. Too bad.

Rarely have we experienced anything like this evening! It will be the last visit to Palma Caos. The behavior of a particular waitress was unacceptable, I have never experienced anything so unprofessional and bitter towards customers. There were some inconsistencies with the food and she (the waitress) used a snippy and completely inappropriate tone that shocked us. After a discussion about this, a ban was threatened, absolutely ridiculous. Never again!

It's hot, like a cauldron. Food for 3 minus. The vegetarian pizza had a minimum of vegetables, 1 piece of eggplant, all the olives were piled in one corner, one piece of bell pepper and rare tomatoes, thick dough and a lot of cheese. The pasta was even worse. And all this under stuffiness, heat from the kitchen and terrible music. Just trash.

Delicious, beautiful looking pizza with fresh vegetables. Short waiting time. Alabiata pasta quite spicy, sauce made of fresh vegetables. Pasta Polo had noticeable pieces of chicken and mushrooms. We recommend.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my visit to this restaurant. The tables were sticky and had no tablecloths, which left an unpleasant impression. The service wasn't exactly friendly and I had to ask twice for a glass with my drink before I got one. I ordered spaghetti bolognese and was surprised that you had to order extra cheese - that was supposed to be included. When I asked for extra cheese, the waitress seemed very stressed. In addition, there were no spices on the table to season the food. In an Italian restaurant there should at least be oregano on the tables. Although the restaurant had few customers, the waitress seemed very stressed. Overall, my visit was unfortunately not satisfactory.

We were there for the first time today and we are thrilled. The staff is very friendly & attentive. The food tasted very good and the portions were large. We will definitely come back.

I never leave a review but the way the entire staff behaves makes it worth it. this employee treats you with superiority, with an indescribable insensitivity... she rolls her eyes when you ask her something, sighs, throws your order with a defiant attitude... terrible... I don't recommend it!!!

We had the pizza spianata, which was generously topped with cheese and spianata and was simply delicious. The Penne di Manzano, on the other hand, was merely good. We'll definitely come back for the pizza.

There were 3 of us for dinner. On the recommendation of a friend, I invited the two colleagues along. We decided to eat there based on good reviews. Food was super tasty and prices were very reasonable. Location was also very cheap with a nice view of the high-rise buildings. What shocked me and made me very sad was the waitress (lady). When we asked if we could put two tables together, the super cheeky and arrogant answer was that it wasn't possible. (The fact that this isn't possible is all good but the way you talk to the guests is the reason for my bad rating). So processing that first and doing everything one after the other: enjoying the food and staying relaxed the whole evening - was unfortunately no longer possible because of this little "gesture". This left the whole visit with a bitter aftertaste.

Yummmmmmm-ohh! I’m an Italian Aussie and ordered Nona’s Bolognese. It was delicious!!! We are coming back to try the pizza. Great reasonable prices, good service, atmosphere is good because it’s busy.

Terrible service! We didn't get glasses or plates, had to ask and eventually pick up the glasses ourselves. . We were shouted at that the reservation was made for 5 and only 4 came. I was called blind for not seeing that the table is for more than 4 persons. Avoid blond guy speaking Italian. Extremely rude, shouting and making vulgar comments to customers

Honestly, the service they offer as a restaurant is terrible, I have come to this restaurant 3 times and I have had to wait at least 40 minutes to be served, and the employees respond in a bad way. I can't find anything positive to say about this restaurant. To sum it up in one word, it's horrible.

Best italian restaurant in frankfurt. Yes i mean it. The portion size is worth the money you pay for. The pasta is delicious and the pizzas are a chef kiss. We were disappointed with the service and the hospitality of one of the female waitress. She was rude and does not carry right attitude.

Burnt pizza, a shame! When the pizza came to the table I immediately noticed that it looked burnt and black. The waiter then just said that that was normal. Unfortunately it only tasted like soot and was very bitter. I can't recommend it. And paid €14 for it...

It's great to sit outside in the summer. Owner-managed, small menu, very tasty, always crowded and unfortunately expensive. Good wine selection if you ask for it. Then you can go into the basement with the boss. Always trying to find a place, even if no reservation was made.

Really very good italian pizzeria. I had "Bresaola" and my husband had "calma caos". We have a little high standards when it comes to pizza, and they both were above it, both really delicious with lots of topping. and the prices are reasonable for such pizzas, they were large in size as well. the lady serving us was also nice and friendly. Inside the restaurant looked cozy but we preferred the outside benches for it was cooler. I really wish i had one more chance to eat there, for it was much better and cheaper than all the schnitzel and even burgers that we ate in frankfurt for four days.

If you are looking for delicious pizzas and beautifully prepared drinks, you are in good hands here. The staff is very friendly and you don't have to wait long for your food. The only problem is the poor reception to the local mobile network, which is not compensated for by guest access to the Internet via WLAN. A longer stay for students who want to study after dinner or work on projects together is difficult, at least in the back seats. I will still come back often.

I had an excellent meal at the Pizzeria Calma Caos today and can fully agree with all the positive reviews. The service was super friendly and attentive, and our pizzas were both visually and tastefully perfect! Great dough and excellent, fresh ingredients - for me a TOP recommendation for lunch or a visit with the whole family.

Die Pizza ist ganz ordentlich, aber der Service ist die größte Unverschämtheit. Unfreundlich und unprofessionell. Die bekommen eine Bestellung von 8 Personen nicht im Ansatz hin. Wenn man sich beschwert, bekommt man eine unverschämte Antwort. Heute habe ich um 11 Uhr eine Vorbestellung für 13 Uhr gemacht, schlussendlich war die Pizza um 13.55 Uhr da. Am Telefon wurde mir um 13.30 Uhr gesagt, sie sei unterwegs. Mein Büro ist nur 150 Meter entfernt. Besser um Ecke zur Pizzeria MONTANA gehen, die ist genauso gut, aber das Personal sehr freundlich.

Very good Unfortunately, women's toilets have no real doors, just a wooden board in the middle, free at the top and bottom, the wooden board does not close to the floor or upper door frame.

We got a spot with a reservation. Mega delicious pizza. It's not an advantage for entertaining, but the pizzas we ate tasted great. Service was also very friendly.

I grew up in Caserta and have very high standards for pizza. According to my experience this is the best pizza you can get in Frankfurt, hence the 5 stars for food. I would add that the staff is very friendly, the service is quick and the place is nice and clean.

The pizza was good but charging 8€ for a 75 cl bottle of still water is a scam. They refused to provide free tap water to us.

Pizzeria Calma Caos is gem in Frankfurt: welcoming atmosphere, solid service, sensational food, and reasonable pricing. Enjoyed observing the Manager, Kerem, interact with customers and team members, too! He seems to drive a spirit of excellence wrapped with camaraderie and a genuine smile. The best pizza I've ever eaten in Frankfurt. The edge was soft like cotton. The prices are a bit high, but the portions are quite decent... and all on Kaiserstrasse! Hats off!

I went there today with a friend and we had to wait for more than 30 minutes for two Margherita pizzas. I bet they forgot our order because they asked us again what we ordered 30 minutes after we initially ordered!!! They did not even apologized at all.

Vegan pizza is possible. However, there is hardly any selection on the menu that would be interesting for a vegan option. I had the vegetarian pizza without any cheese. Vegan cheese is available for an additional charge (€2). The pizza itself tasted good, airy edge and thin base.

The food was good but the waiters were overly early, surly and not competent. We felt treated very badly and such behavior should not exist in a restaurant, indeed, anywhere. Although the food was good, nothing to say about it, the poor service ruined the whole experience. I wouldn't recommend it, there are many other Italian restaurants in Frankfurt where they won't treat you so badly. English: Food was good but the waitresses were incompetent and very rude to us. We were a large group and they treated us very badly, so even if the food was not bad at all, I wouldn't suggest it and it's not worth your time!

I was in the pizzeria for the first time last week. The ambience is modern, functional but quite appealing. The waitresses were all very friendly and quick. There was nothing wrong with the service. For dinner I had bruschetta and then a pizza. I can recommend the bruschetta and the pizza in principle too. The surface was also above average. It was a shame that the base of the pizza was much too soft for me personally. And I emphasize this because there are really different camps here (crunchy ground vs. soft ground). All in all, I can recommend the pizzeria.

Disappointed! I had such a great expectations after reading google reviews but the pizza was disappointing. I ordered the pizza with anchovies and it was too salty and too soggy. I order this pizza regularly at different places and I usually never have find it this salty. Also, the pizza oven made the whole restaurant very humid and it was hard to sit there and enjoy drinks for a long time. I had to leave as soon as I finished my food and drink.

Good location (near the main train station, easy to reach), cool interior, okay service. Burratina antipasti was super tasty and refreshing, I could come back for that alone. The Gambaretto was very disappointing, it just tasted like tomato, a shame. Pizza very tasty! Happy to come back :)

Ordered today via Wolt. Penne Spinachi. At 2:22 p.m Food came at 3:30 p.m. 1 hour and then still cold, without a napkin and without cutlery. Exactly the same problem the last 3 times. That's not a service, that's not something we can do. We live in 2024. Paid €17 for it and the food ended up in the trash can. Where is my money please? I mean, what's the problem with delivering cutlery to the customer? Should I eat by hand? Exactly the same problem 12 days ago Pizza cold, 3 pasta dishes warm, but no cutlery. Not good

Auf der suche nach einem Abendessen bin ich im Calma Caos gelandet. Die Karte sah gut aus und die Location auch. Die Bedienungen waren sehr aufmerksam und schnell. Auf der Karte sind die klassischen Pizzen. Ich hatte eine Pizza Proscutto e Fungi und einen Insalata Verde. Die Pizza war nur mit frischen Zutaten zubereitet und im Salat war auch etwas gegrilltes Gemüse und schwarze Oliven. Sehr lecker.

Had lunch here with two small children, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The quality of the pizza, pasta and homemade iced tea is excellent. I could have eaten a pizza straight after if I wasn't already full... The waiting time was manageable and they thought ahead and brought the pasta first so that the children didn't have to wait long. There were also extra glasses and plates for the children - we didn't need them but the staff thought of everything. The toilet is clean and there is also a high chair, mind you, only one. Families with children after us couldn't get one anymore. But that's the only thing that could perhaps be improved; a second high chair is certainly a sensible investment. Also positive is that it is a sturdy wooden high chair and not the typical Ikea high chair that other restaurants often have.

El sitio está bien y se come bien. Entre semana sin reserva, local no muy ocupado. El servicio pobre. Al rato de ver la carta viene la camarera a preguntar por bebida y si no llego a pedir la comida se va sin preguntar. Al recoger los platos de pizza no pregunta por postre ni café, tienes que decirlo tu al rato cuando te hace caso. Si me llega a preguntar o aconsejar me gastos 20€ más sin problema.

Alles super, schade das die Pizza nochmal mit ungewaschenen Händen direkt vom Chef selbst geschnitten wurde. Pizza kann gerne hinter der Theke geschnitten werden vom Koch aber net von jemandem der auch die Kasse und das Telefon bedient.
