Angelo used to be really great. Unfortunately, today was a real letdown. Unfortunately, all 4 pizzas were completely burnt. We had nice service - but when we asked about it, we were told that the pizza maker had to step in. Unfortunately for me it's inedible and so a visit is no longer an option.

The only positive thing was the super nice operator. The negative started with the fact that they didn't have any ice cubes for the drinks. Things got even worse when we received our 32cm PIZZA, which was just 26cm tall. When we spoke to the waitress, she said the actual pizza maker wasn't there, so the waitress would fill in for him. It was then billed as a 28cm pizza, but that didn't change the fact that the PIZZA was far too thin and hardly tasted good. A few years ago I visited the shop and had good memories, especially because they have a real stone oven and are heated with wood. Unfortunately, we will no longer be coming because these negative events happened on our wedding anniversary dinner, leaving a bad memory with this evening.

Delicious food and absolutely cheap. Very nice family business where the guest is the focus. Very rare these days.

Attention - my rating still refers to the "original Angelo restaurant with the two old owners!! I feel like I've always been a guest at these two because they have the best stone oven pizza in the district.

Music too loud, food excellent, mostly card payment unfortunately not possible, please put up a sign, grill plate very good, salad very good, pizza if without oil also very good, unfortunately bruschetta is not our cup of tea and spaghetti scampi or seafood is better without white wine

It was a very nice afternoon with my sister there. It's right in the center, it's a very nice restaurants with lots of space both inside and outside. I ordered cheese spaetzle on her advice and was not disappointed. It was very delicious and to my delight there was also salad with it. Here in Austria, salad is usually ordered separately and the best thing is that it is really cheap and you get a decent portion. From my side, I can warmly recommend this restaurant. Thank you for the delicious food and for the great time. 🤗

No longer recommended since the change of ownership. A pity. An hour until the drinks arrived, then the wrong thing and then exactly the same thing when eating...

Great evening with delicious food and drinks

After the owner changed, we gave the Angelo several chances. The pizzas still taste very, very good from the wood-fired oven. The rest of the food is also recommended, although it bothers me when the salad is on the menu. B. described with dried tomatoes, but then served with fresh ones. There is always a daily special that is cheap and tasty. But the service definitely still needs to be worked on. If you ask what the daily menu is, the waiters first ask. Other than that, some (not all) seem very awkward. Sugar, salt and pepper as well as dressing are not always provided. The “all-round view” is still a bit missing.

Angelo 1990 under new management 2024 Once and NEVER AGAIN! This has never happened to me before. There weren't 5 tables occupied and yet the waitress couldn't remember who had placed which order and went from table to table with a prosciutto pizza. Our antipasti came without any side bread, although it was freshly made when we asked, but of course it came long after you would normally have finished the starter. The calamari wasn't good, bitter and smelled terrible, and she forgot the ketchup on the fries. In the middle of the meal the radio was turned on and it was so loud that you couldn't carry on a conversation, but you were entertained by the advertising. At some point we decided to call it quits and go home. The fact that the second waitress wanted to give herself a €10 tip could be dismissed as an oversight, but the fact that she started pushing the pizza into the pizza box with her FINGERS was really the highlight. But you learn from all experiences and we have learned that we will not set foot in HERE again.

I haven't eaten pizza this good in a long time. The service was great. A very nice restaurant.

Food, staff and ambience - everything you need to feel good and enjoy

It's been a long time since I've had pizza this good. Pistachio tiramisu is also highly recommended.

We wanted to give this restaurant a chance and should have read the reviews beforehand. We felt nothing of the proverbial Italian hospitality, joy of life and lightness. I will refrain from commenting on the Italian starter plate and refer to the photo.

Ate here many times, service is polite, kind, I had probably best quattro formaggi pizza here.

Well, we were there because we were hungry every now and then. I don't think the whole place is anything special and the pizza, well, I was hungry. My son ordered gnocchi and they were well distributed on the plate. He wasn't expected to be full, but at least he enjoyed them. All in all, max. 2 1/2 points

Unique. Pizza is made in a beech wood oven. Dough with flour for pizza.

Angelo's is always really friendly and you can always eat very well. A great restaurant. A really good recommendation

Cappuccino sehr gut, der gegrillte Lachs auf den Punkt gebracht, sowie die Pizza Rucola perfekt.

Wer eine echte Steinofenpizza mag ist hier richtig. 3 Sterne Abzug: einmal für den schlechten Service, für Nudeln ohne Geschmack und die Zuverlässigkeit. Mehrmals falsche Getränke oder ganz vergessen trotz nachfragen, Nudeln zerkocht und Soße kein Geschmack, 3 mal nach Parmesan gefragt und die Bedienung hat es gleich wieder vergessen. Auf den Pizzen ist jedes Mal etwas anderes drauf. Geschmacklich aber Himmlisch!

leider wird hier für eine große Pizza 32cm kassiert aber nur eine kleine 28cm gebracht und versichert das sei eine Große

ein lang ansässiger echter Italiener mit landestypischen Speisen und prima Ambiente.

Die Pizza war angeblich gut, aber bei den Schnitzeln, war das Fleisch zäh.

Eines der wenigen Lokale, das sich seit über 35 Jahren hält! Das spricht schon sehr für sich. Die Küche ist typisch italienisch, die Pizzen kommen noch aus einem echten Holzofen, und das schmeckt man auch! Service ist sehr familiär und lieb. Wir kommen gerne und regelmäßig!

Gehe sehr gerne in dieses Restaurant und wurde bis jetzt noch nie negativ überrascht

Pizzeria Angelo sehr gut, Klassischer Italiener mit einem Stein Ofen. Personal sehr nett, da wir sehr oft kommen. Leider nur Chef und Chefin da, sonst niemand mehr. Damals mehrere schon. Der Chef steht leider immer nur gelangweilt neben dem Ofen und schaut ins leere. Der Sogenannte Pizzatag am Dienstag ist sehr gut, Eine Pizza und dazu noch ein Salat 6,00€! Ambiente ist etwas altmodisch, gefällt mir aber. Preise allgemein sind Gut, sieht man nicht mehr oft, vor allem in der jetzigen Zeit. Leider gefällt mir der Platz des Restaurants nicht, ständig rasende Autos mit ihrem lautem Auspuff, oder es gehen 100 Menschen vorbei, schauen auch dann oft noch doof. Ich hatte ein Pizzabrot und Rigatoni al Forno sehr lecker. Am Anfang war der Service sehr schnell und seh freundlich und hat Super geklappt 2 Service Kräfte und die beiden Besitzer, nur dann waren nur noch der Chef und Chefin da. Nach 2 std Aufenthalt musste ich leider 35 min auf den Service für eine weitere Bestellung warten. Und es waren incl. mir nur 3 Leute da. Essen Top, Service leider extrem ausbaufähig und ein Witz bei Unterbesetzung.

Was soll ich sagen, ich habe in all den Jahren nur einmal etwas lasche Pommes bekommen die aber dann auch neu serviert wurden und haben dann gepasst. Ich finde, Angelo hat auch die beste Pizza weit und breit, da kann sich die Pizzazentale um die Ecke eine dicke Scheibe abschneiden.

Pizza war gut, Fleischgerichte sind nicht so toll. Service war freundlich, hat nur sehr lang gedauert bis wir zahlen konnten.

Tomatensuppe und Kaffee waren gut. Der Service durch die Chefin war auch sehr freundlich. Grazie mille.

Pizza und Nudelgerichte können auf alle Fälle wärmstens empfohlen werden. Ausge-zeichnete und i. d. Regel schnelle Zubereitung, freundlicher Service ist selbstver-ständlich. Besonders zu empfehlen sind die täglichen Menüangebote zu einem sehr guten Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Auch die Chefin schaut gerne mal bei den Gästen vorbei.

Dieser Italiener ist mitten im Waldkraiburger Stadtplatz. Eher durch Zufall hat es mich in das Lokal verschlagen. Bereits nach dem Betreten machten sich die ersten Befürchtungen bei mir breit. Da ich mich nicht vom ersten Eindruck täuschen lassen möchte, habe ich zum Bleiben entschieden. Leider bestätigte sich bei Essen mein erster Eindruck. Das gewählte Menü war fachlich als auch qualitativ schlecht zubereitet. Unter italienischer "dolce vita" stelle ich mir persönlich etwas anderes vor.

рядом с центром города есть небольшая улица с ресторанами. мы выбрали анжело, оказалась итальнка, живет тут давно, семейный бизнес, мы сели на улице, большие лавки из массива дерева, было тепло, лето, взяли пиццы дъябло ,картошку,стейк,пирожные, было все вкусно и неочень дорого, готовят неочень быстро зато в печи и все свежее, никакиз заготовок. Советую попробовать

Sehr gute Pizza. Personnal sehr sympathisch und freundlich. Sehr gemutlisches Lokal. Menukarte interressant. Gunstige Preise. Ich empfehle.

Pizza vom Chef selbst gemacht und im Steinofen gebacken, lecker, lecker. Wir waren an einem Dienstag im Lokal, wo es das besondere Angebot einer Pizza mit Salat zu Festpreis gab. Der Salat ohne Dressing zum Selbstanmachen. Die Pizza war sehr gut belegt und schmeckte eben sehr lecker. Alles in allem ein gelungener Besuch.

Sehr schade... Der Services - okay... Es hat zwar fast eine Stunde gedauert, bis wir das Essen am Tisch hatten. Bei dem "geschmacklichen Erlebnis" aber nicht so schlimm... Bruscetta: Wässrige Tomatensauce, kaum Tomaten, KEIN KNOBLAUCH... Auch die Pizza Thunfisch war jetzt nicht der Hammer. Mit Italien hat das NICHTS zu tun. Und da bringt der Holzofen im Eingangsbereich nichts. Hier muss was getan werden, denn sowas kann man keinem Kunden anbieten,...
