I recently visited Avanti again and I'm absolutely thrilled! The food was simply fantastic – a taste sensation and beautifully presented. Even the appetizer was a real highlight: the best garlic bread ever! And the schnitzel? Simply perfect – incredibly tender, superbly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The portions are more than generous and beautifully presented. The service was once again first-class: incredibly friendly, attentive, and warm. Marcel, in particular, with his wonderful manner, always makes you feel instantly welcome and completely at ease. For me, it's always a pleasure and an absolute favorite place. I can wholeheartedly recommend Avanti and I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

On my first visit, I enjoyed a perfectly baked pizza. On my second visit, years later, the pizza was quite oversalted, and I didn't particularly enjoy the salt-free appetizers. On a Saturday evening, there was a rather long wait for the food. The appetizer and main course were then served almost simultaneously. The service was friendly.

Apparently, there's a difference between eating in a restaurant and having something delivered. I don't understand the positive comments. The delivery service was flawless.

They always deliver quickly, and the food is good. After a bad experience, they contacted me without any prompting from me (based on this review) to make things right again. (Original review in parentheses) [Usually always relatively good, the mozzarella sticks are great, but this time the fries I ordered were soggy, as if they'd been reheated, and the ice cream I ordered wasn't included. 85% of the time, it's really good, and 15% of the time, something like this.] Just a day later, they contacted me to refund the ice cream with money or a coupon, and emphasized that if something, like the fries, wasn't right, I could also call them. Things sometimes go wrong, but the fact that they're taking constructive initiative in this regard is a very good sign. <Although their GMaps response to this review might be chatgpt, lmao. But that doesn't say anything about the food.>

We ate delicious pizzas there. Nice selection, and they also served a few other dishes, such as burgers and schnitzel. You could sit inside or outside. Everything seemed clean, and the service was fast and friendly. At the end, they even offered a delicious nightcap.

The pizza was very tasty. The kids' pizza costs €7.90, but the size is okay. The ingredients were good quality. The staff was friendly, but some things took a while to arrive. Plenty of seating inside and outside. The restrooms were clean but a bit cramped. The prices were good.

Today I had the best pasta in ages, prepared by the chef himself (similar to Avanti and Chef on the menu). The dish was a dream. My friends had the vegetarian pizza and the veggie plate and were also completely satisfied. We live a bit further away, but would come back just to eat here. Definitely recommend it!! Plus, the people are super nice and always up for a chat :)

Our favorite restaurant! We eat at Avanti regularly – and it's a treat every time! Whether it's pizza or pasta: everything is super fresh, incredibly delicious, and prepared with love. I've rarely eaten such delicious pizza and pasta – simply outstanding! The service was first-class, and the location was very inviting and tastefully decorated. The entire team was extremely friendly, attentive, and welcoming. I'd also like to particularly highlight the chef: very kind, accommodating, and always concerned about the guests' well-being. An all-round successful visit – I'll definitely be back!

I ordered a can of Coke with my pizza and paid the usual €0.25 deposit. However, the can didn't have a deposit symbol, which isn't actually allowed by law. If that happens with every order, it'll add up quite a bit – at the customer's expense. I find it highly questionable to charge a deposit when it's not properly labeled or returnable. To me, that's not proper business practice. The food was okay – but this shouldn't happen in a proper business. I hope the store improves its behavior.

9.9/10. _______ I always order online and am completely satisfied every time. I've never been there before, so I couldn't really judge the atmosphere, but I can well imagine it being just as great as the rest. Maybe next time I'll be able to go in person, and then maybe I'll get full marks. 😉

The service was friendly, but the experience was disappointing. We waited over an hour for our food, even though the restaurant was nearly empty. It was exhausting to wait so long, especially considering we only ordered three salads, two pastas, and a schnitzel. We couldn’t understand why such a simple order took so long to prepare.

A top Italian restaurant for a cozy evening. The food is sensational. Whether it's pizza, pasta, salad, or something else, it's absolutely delicious. And as we all know, it's a feast for the eyes. The service is very friendly. All in all, I highly recommend it. We'd be happy to come back.

After a great boat trip on Lake Haltern, we headed back towards the center. On the way there, we noticed this inviting pizzeria. After a short trip through the village, we decided to stop at Avanti, and it wasn't a mistake. Great atmosphere, and our Hawaiian and calzone pizzas were a surprise. The calzone was filled with herbs and very well, super delicious. I couldn't help my wife with her pizza, and that's saying something. Thank you all for the great food; we'll be happy to come back when we're in Haltern am See again.

We had dinner at the Pizzeria Avanti on Saturday evening. The lady who served us was very friendly and accommodating. After we placed the order, we were given antipasti, which was delicious. The pizzas we ordered were also very tasty and were worth almost 60 euros. Since we came from outside, they gave us some good tips on where to go. If we are in the area again we will be happy to come back.

I ate the Pizza Avanti, which was just really, really good. The topping was good, but just as remarkable for me was the dough with a good balance of taste and consistency. The service and ambience were also very good.

Today we ended up at Pizzeria Avanti by chance – and what luck! The pizza was really great, we were particularly surprised by the Scandinavian pizza: super tasty, fresh and something different. So; I have never written a Google review and never really wanted to expose myself to this. But today's meal really wasn't that great... I ordered a Holstein-style schnitzel with prince potatoes and my girlfriend ordered a lamb fillet with prince potatoes and a pancake with chocolate sauce. Unfortunately, the goods had already expired upon delivery and most of the sauce, as well as the chocolate sauce, were found in the bags. That made the food a bit boring. We also didn't get what we ordered. I had a schnitzel with onions and mushrooms and my friend had fries instead of prince potatoes. BUT: The driver was really very friendly and my potatoes were well seasoned. Mistakes happen to absolutely everyone. I basically got my doctorate in “Making Mistakes,” but there were a lot of them.

Yes! It is very tasty and you get 2 small rolls per person as a starter, which are extremely tasty! The lighting and decoration is super nice and you can even bring dogs! The portions are very large so it's best not to eat anything beforehand and the dishes are all homemade! It's usually very empty but I can highly recommend it!

Had a delicious meal here last night, fresh ingredients, great service. Small appetizer on the house, very thoughtful. Had read the review, but still, you have to experience it yourself. Will definitely come back in May.... then holiday there again!! Would also like some Italian meat/fish dishes.... Top.... Plus point: pay with EC card (also Dutch).

No matter what you order, everything tastes great, we always enjoy coming here. Food that is delivered always tastes very good and the food always arrives very warm. The Avanti in Haltern is really great and the owner is a kind-hearted and incredibly friendly person. It was our first time there and the food was incredibly good. Instead of a glass/porcelain salad bowl, we got home-baked bread as a bowl for the salad. This was also really tasty and the idea was very good and sustainable. We would be happy to meet here again, a visit is definitely worth it!

We were at the Avanti today with the two little boys and our dog. We were warmly welcomed. The gentleman in service was very accommodating, very child-friendly and very dog-friendly. The service was extremely friendly. In advance we were given pizza rolls with two types of dip. Delicious. The children were given art supplies and the dog was given a bowl of water. We ordered 3 pizzas. All were very tasty. We particularly liked the pizza dough, fluffy, toasty and crispy, with large air bubbles. That's how it should be :). It's a shame that we come from Bremen and can't stop by more often. We leave a recommendation!

Today we ordered a pizza with gyros and fries including hollandaise sauce and a turkey schnitzel with asparagus and fries. The turkey schnitzel was thin, pressed meat and tasted disgusting. The fries that came with it were soggy. You had to look for the asparagus. The pizza was drenched in oil. You also had to look for the gyro meat and the fries were soggy. A disgrace for a total of €30

Food always delicious. Ordered today and forgot my olives on my pizza, called and 10 minutes later the nice driver showed up at our front door with an extra large portion of olives. Hey thanks again and keep it up.

When we were looking for pizza we came across this small restaurant. The food was really tasty and the people there were really nice. In the end, the surprise came in the form of the bill - it was cheaper than expected. It's a shame it's so far from home.

We ordered pizzas to the RV park and they were delivered directly to the RV on time. 👍 The pizzas were still nice and hot, had plenty of toppings and tasted very good. There were also small pizza rolls with a delicious herb butter. Everything is great! We were very satisfied.

Cozy pizzaria, very, very nice service. We were there the Friday before last and were able to take advantage of the good weather on the terrace and enjoy a fantastic pizza after a short wait. The only minor drawback is that there is relatively little vegetarian pizza for my taste, but special requests are taken into account and the ham can simply be left out if desired. I was very happy about that because the avocado pizza was really great. It's just a bit of a shame that I had to pay full price even without the ham. But I would still like to come back :)

It's really a shame how things went today. As usual, we ordered dinner with 6 people. Unfortunately a meal was forgotten but it was accounted for. After it has been delivered, the billing should be done again. A total of €78 for 6 pizzas and some small pizzas?? Really a shame this wasted time.

We were here yesterday and had the salad mista and the gyro pizza! The very friendly, natural service gave us good advice, looked after us and made us feel good all around.

We ordered pizza earlier, unfortunately one arrived wrong. After calling on site, the boss immediately made sure that a new one was delivered to us. An apology was made and the driver also did so. It can happen, mistakes are there to be made. The pizza was terrific. I don't have to say more

First I went swimming at the lake and then, very hungry, I looked for a restaurant and found it. When I put together a pizza, I didn't have high expectations. When I got this pizza I was thrilled. The freshness with which this pizza arrived and the taste explosion it caused in me cannot be described. Also praise to the staff. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating. This store deserves high praise!

We were there for the first time today and definitely not the last time. The waiter was super friendly and patient with us and any extra requests. The food tasted delicious and the chef had a great eye for special presentation. Top!

The shop is nice and the food is satisfying. You will also be greeted with a free appetizer, which sweetens the experience even more.

On Monday (June 3rd, 2024) we ordered 2 lasagne and 1x chicken wings to take away. The lasagna was not edible because it had a sour taste. My husband then drove back 7 km and exchanged the lasagne. The exchanged lasagne was a little better, but also sour - as if some of the other sauce had been mixed in - and therefore inedible! We called Avanti and complained again. The apology or justification from Avanti was borderline... We declined another exchange or an invitation to dinner because we had become disgusted. Avanti was the best pizzeria for us in Haltern before Corona and now by far the worst pizzeria. We won't be ordering or eating anything there again and can't recommend the place. Finally, we would like to note that the chicken wings didn't taste as good as they should. Unfortunately we noticed this too late.

Everything was fine, we will come back.

Super delicious pizza with a pizza base that is uniquely delicious and hard to beat. The lasagne with shrimp is also highly recommended. First of all, the friendly service surprised us with a delicious greeting from the kitchen. And all of this on the terrace in front of the house. So just perfect. Thank you
