The best for years 🍕 🍕 simply delicious.

I was there as a small child (according to my mother) and now we tried it again at lunchtime with work colleagues. Very tasty food! Great lunch specials and very nice staff. We would love to come back. (Unfortunately there is no photo, the food was gone too quickly)

I've been going to Al Gabbiano for years because I've always found the pizzas to be very good. I ordered the Spaghetti al Tonno Pegasus for the first time today and was absolutely thrilled. A really great Sicilian-style recipe with a number of ingredients that work wonderfully together. Gladly again at any time!

While passing through, we arrived here quite late because our hotel was nearby. We received a very friendly welcome and unexpectedly had a very tasty meal. Moreover, it was very child-friendly.

You were served quickly. The food came quickly, it was a large portion and very tasty. I would recommend it.

Delicious well filled pizzas! It was really delicious!! Pizza Speciale is highly recommended. Also a nice outdoor terrace.

Delicious, well worth the 5 minutes detour off the A3 motorway. We had a fantastic pizza and incredible tiramisu. Such a lovely friendly family restaurant.

Were there often because the pizza is really good. BUT when you pick up the pizza, which has already become more expensive, a “please” came to point out that you didn’t say a tip. I said nothing. Then there was perhaps a small amount, like 3€ or something like that. I'm not the kind of person who wouldn't give a damn if everything were right, the employees would be nice or I would be served there. BUT actively asking about it doesn't work for me. I paid for the pizza and picked it up and that's all I got. Sorry but lost 5 customers.

Unfortunately we had to wait 1 hour for our food. The wait wasn't worth it.

Very nice family-run restaurant with a real wood-fired pizza oven🔥 We had a large salad and 2x pizza. Pizzas are very big and tasty. The salad is lush, but I will order with vinegar and oil next time because it was too strong for me. But as always, that is a matter of taste. We'd love to come back!

It's good, but the real Italian ice cream is usually better and tastier. Here it's just called Italian ice cream.

Very good pasta and delicious pizza.

We ordered a pizza to pick up. We were told on the phone that she would be ready for pickup in 20-25 minutes. Then there was great disillusionment on site. After an hour we finally had the scampi pizza in my hands. Four minutes later came the next disillusionment. For the impressive price there are actually a whole EIGHT! Scampi including the shell on it… wow - thank you very much for that. Thank God there are plenty of alternatives.

The pizza carpaccio and the eggplant alla parmigiana were sensational!

We've been going here for pizza every now and then for several years now. In contrast to other restaurants, the food still tastes excellent.

Al Gabbiano is and remains simply the best pizzeria in the area. Typically Sicilian ✨ The prices on site or to take away are absolutely fair, as quality is at the top here. The rooms and the furnishings are a bit rustic, but I find it typically Italian and therefore very suitable.

You rarely come across a real Italian pizzeria. Open all day. Feel free to come here after swimming. And we enjoy good food even in winter.

We always enjoy eating there. It tastes super delicious and the price is also great :) Pizzas from the stone oven can only be recommended! Very cozy atmosphere.

Yesterday there were four of us as a family, sitting right next to the pizza oven and it was fascinating. The food was super tasty and ready quickly. The staff was very nice and accommodating and made us feel at home. If we are in the area again we will definitely come back!!! 😉. It was a great evening.

Picked up pizza here for the first time today and it's really awesome. The dough is some of the best we've had so far. We also had a mixed salad, which was easily enough for both of us in its normal version. Unfortunately, the outdoor seating area isn't the nicest, but the delicious food easily makes up for that. Will definitely eat here more often.

We love to pick up or eat there. It always tastes great and the price is also great :) You can hardly find such good quality in the area anymore. The waiters and the manager of the house are always friendly and make sure their guests are satisfied. We always recommend the restaurant 👍🏼

We ate at Al Gabbiano this evening and absolutely loved it! As soon as we entered the restaurant we noticed the cozy atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, which made the visit even more pleasant. The menu offers a great selection. The pizza was fantastic - the dough was perfect, the tomato sauce was wonderfully aromatic and the ingredients were fresh and plentiful. The price-performance ratio is also absolutely right here. We can recommend the restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy a delicious pizza in a pleasant environment. We will be back definitely.

So absolutely stupid, overly expensive and then wrong order

Insalata Gabbiano for 26 CHF - a few green leaves, 1 piece of egg, 2 anchovies - price performance is probably NOT right! BRUSCHETTA Caprese - dry and tasteless - it wasn't cream cheese! ! It's a shame, despite the beautiful location, not recommended!!!

Ihre Preise sind schon wieder teurer geworden. Auf den rigattoni ist nicht mal mehr ein Basilikum Blatt ala Dekoration. Die Getränke 0,4 auf 4,50 Einfach frech.

The pizza is bad and the service is bad

The restaurant is a bit older in design and it gives the feeling that no thought has been given to decorations etc. for a long time, but still a pleasant atmosphere, just a bit older. You have to like it. The food was really delicious and the highlight of the restaurant. Real wood oven for the pizza, pasta prepared according to original Italian recipes (Carbonara). Everything was really great when it came to the food, nothing to complain about. But the service was a complete disaster. Very unfriendly and visibly annoyed that we were there to eat. No friendly approach, no friendly questions, very annoyed when paying. When ordering, one of our group made a pronunciation mistake and the lady, extremely annoyed, pointed out that these were two different dishes (dishes are written in Italian and not everyone can pronounce the dishes correctly). So really very intolerant about that. No please and thank you. Also generally a very rough tone from the operation. The lady from the bar who brought the drinks was super friendly and very nice. But I've actually never experienced such unfriendly service (from one waitress). Unfortunately, this led me to rate the restaurant with only 2 stars, although it would have deserved more if the service had been better. For this reason alone, even though the food is really excellent, we will not be visiting this restaurant again. I'm very sorry for the operator (unless it's the operator in question, which would be even worse).

Ordered two pizzas today (seafood + margarita) and they charged €25 without drinks. I hope that the lady who works there isn't the boss, as she really wasn't friendly nor did it seem like she wanted to work there. In general the furnishings are not my taste either. Pizza was very oily and not much seafood. A pity

I was here in the shop in 2009, when my father, who has since died, ran this family business. The mother was still behind the counter then as now, the daughter is still serving as back then, the son baked the pizzas then as now, the pizza still tastes just as good as it did back then. All in all, these are the best pizzas I've ever eaten. I have to say, I really like eating pizza and have only been traveling in Germany and around the world for work for 20 years. When I say these are the best pizzas, it should mean something to everyone. Update: April 26, 2024 The pizza still tastes very good, today I found out that my brother is no longer here and has more time for his family, as the working hours in restaurants are not necessarily family-friendly. The employees in the kitchen have to follow the original recipes from the late father, which is why the quality of the food is maintained. Thanks again to the owners (mother & daughter) for providing us with food, I like being here when I have time, I forgot to tell you a few times, but you can rest assured and come here with a clear conscience, it will be perfect for you sure to taste good. By the way, if you like it very spicy, you can try the homemade powder pepperoni, it's not so spicy that it numbs your mouth, but it's spicy enough to make the food even tastier.

Very good pizzas...had a place where it was very drafty. Affecting several tables was very uncomfortable as soon as the door was opened. And that happened more often. A windbreak or curtain would have to be installed on the door. Unfortunately it had a negative impact on the stay.

There are really delicious pizzas here! All in a pleasant atmosphere with friendly staff from the family business. Free parking spaces are also available directly in front of the building.

After a while we went back to our previous pizzeria. It was a shock! The ambience is dark, shabby and loveless. It smells damp and musty. Apparently nothing has been done there for years! The tablecloths were stained, all of them! The staff said: I have never seen such a lackluster and listless waitress (boss?)! Sad... The food was actually good, the pizza was great! But, unfortunately, as we all know, the eye eats too. So it was probably our last time under these circumstances...

I have never had such poorly prepared tagliatelle salmone and spaghetti with seafood. Both dishes were so spicy that nothing but spiciness could be tasted. Had tagliatelle with salmon twice for 37 euros and spaghetti with seafood once, which were also spicy. The pizzas were delicious.

Drink prices have been outrageously increased since 2024. Not with me anymore.

Pizza was good, but unfortunately cold today, since it was very stressful and a lot of pickups came in, I think it was an exceptional situation and there was a lack of staff. If this is not the case, then we can recommend the pizza.

Great rustic restaurant, the waiters were quite stressed. The food, especially this excellently thin pizza dough, the tiramisu and the tartofu, brought everything out.

Die beste Pizzeria im gesamten Umkreis. Auch wenn wir nicht gerade in der Nähe wohnen, kommen wir seit vielen Jahren immer wieder hier her und sind begeistert. Der Weg lohnt sich! Hier passt alles. Essen, Bedienung/Personal (ist immer sehr Freundlich), und eine gemütliche Einrichtung. Sehr sehr gute Pizzas. Ein richtiger Pizzaofen der nicht nur die Pizzas perfekt bäckt, sondern auch das Ambiente erhöht. Wir werden auch in Zukunft immer wieder hier her kommen! Ach ja: kostenlose Parkplätze direkt vorm Haus sind auch noch da.😃 Für dies alles lasse ich nun mal ein DANKESCHÖN hier.🥰

Pizza was good, the crust is amazing. The service was incredible, and being to watch the pizza cook in the stone oven is too cool.

Immer leckere Pizza aus einem holzbefeuerten Pizzaofen. Sehr netter Service. Ambiente drinnen ist naja, aber wir holen eh immer zum Mitnehmen.

Gemütlicher gastraum mit holzofen aus dem die Pizzen Frisch gemacht werden. Essen einwandfrei und lecker. Sonderwünsche wurden perfekt erfüllt: hausgemachte tagliatelle zu den Muscheln. Nette und freundliche Gastgeber. Familienbetrieb. ****** Update: Am 26.11.23 waren wir wieder zu Gast und die Gerichte hatten die gleiche Topqualität und Frische wie beim ersten Mal. Service und das Bemühen alle Wünsche zu erfüllen, waren erneut perfekt. Die Muscheln all arabiata mit Tagliatelle mit der richtigen Schärfe und heiß am Tisch angekommen - ein Traum. 👍🏻👍🏻. Die Tiramisu ist ebenfalls empfehlenswert. Wir werden wieder kommen!! Trotz >40km Anfahrt und genügend Pizzerien-Alternativen um unseren Heimatort.

Freundliche und flotte Bedienung, Essen war lecker, besonders positiv aufgefallen ist uns, dass obwohl das Lokal voll war, es trotzdem nicht zu laut wurde.

Wir waren dort schon zum zweiten mal, die Einrichtung ist zwar gut gemacht,jedoch sollte man diese, vielleicht mal wieder in Schuss bringen. Die Bedienung hat Uns nicht vom Hocker gerissen. Eiskalt und unfreundlich. Wobei man sagen muss, gegen Ende unseres Besuches, ist sie ein bisschen. "aufgetaut. In einem Restaurant ist so ein Verhalten unmöglich. Nun zu meinen Essen. . Rumpsteak mit Bratkartoffeln und Kräuterbutter, die Butter war sehr gut :) das Steak war,zwar gerade noch Medium aber zu dűnn geschnitten und ein wenig zäh, die Bratkartoffeln haben eher Salzkartoffeln geåhnelt. Das Fazit: So schön das Ambiente auch ist, es gehört mal, ein bisschen hergerichtet. Das Essen ist von der Qualität eher durchwachsen. Und der Service ist definitiv Verbesserungswürdig!

Essen war lecker. Freundlichkeit und Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig. Die Gläser und Besteck waren schmutzig. Preise allgemein zu teuer empfunden.

Beste Holzofenpizza, leckere hausgemachte Nudeln, absolut netter Service - wir kommen gerne immer wieder!

Richtig gut gegessen heute, Rigatoni Al Forno, super gut gewürzt und mit reinem Rindfleisch. Ein wahrer Gaumenschmaus! Egal ob im Restaurant oder zum Abholen, ich wurde bislang noch nie enttäuscht, was mich vor allem beeindruckt, ist das die Wirtin stets auf Wünsche eingeht, die Speisen werden stets frisch zubereitet, sodass man auch selbst bestimmen kann, welche Zutaten dabei sind. Super gut auch für Allergiker. Weiter so Al Gabbiano und vielen Dank für den netten Service.

Ich bin schon lange Kundin im Al Gabbiano und immer sehr zufrieden. Man wird immer freundlich begrüßt und bedient und fühlt sich super wohl. Ich würde dieses Lokal an jeden weiterempfehlen, der die traditionelle Italienische Küche mag. Das Essen hat bisher immer geschmeckt und war immer frisch.

Als ich früher noch fest in Regensburg eingesetzt wurde war ich jede Woche mindestens 1 Mal hier essen und bin schon fast ein halber Stammkunde. Jetzt bin ich wegen der Arbeit nur noch gelegentlich in Regensburg allerdings macht das keinen Unterschied wie unfassbar lecker es hier ist. Das Ambiente und der Umgang mit Kunden ist sehr familiär und gemütlich. Wenn wenig los ist kann man auch sehr gute Gespräche mit der Inhaberin führen. Man fühlt sich hier einfach wohl. Die Auswahl an Gerichten ist sehr groß, es ist eigentlich für jeden was dabei. Preislich ist man hier schon etwas edel unterwegs, man kriegt allerdings zu 100% die Qualität für die man zahlt. Insgesamt sehr lecker. Die Pizzen werden im Steinofen zubereitet, man kann dem Pizzabäcker sogar zusehen. In allem mein absoluter Lieblingsitaliener in Regensburg und Umgebung. Einfach am besten vorbeischauen und selber probieren! 😄

Ich hatte eine Schinken Pizza bestellt. Bereits am Telefon war die Wirtin sehr unfreundlich. Dann war die Pizza noch sehr dünn belegt und Schinken kaum zu finden! Bin sehr enttäuscht! War immer treue Kundin, weil tolle Pizza. Dieses Mal sehr enttäuscht! Und liebe Grüße an Natalie, lass deine Mitarbeiter ran! Dein Ton und dein Umgang mit Kunden ist unmöglich! Sowohl am Telefon als auch im Service!

Das war die beste Pizza meines Lebens! Wirklich wundervoll, qualitativ hochwertig, der Laden sieht von außen zwar unscheinbar aus, aber von innen richtig oldschool. Die Kellnerin hatte leider einen schlechten Tag, die Nudeln von meinen beiden Begleitern waren auch nicht der Knüller (fader Geschmack), aber wir kommen auf jeden Fall zum Pizza Essen wieder!

Die Pizzas und das Tiramisu waren gigantisch gut👍.

Pizza war tatsächlich sehr gut, bei Nudelgerichten wird aber sehr gespart. Fand es auch ein wenig unhöflich wie mir meine Karte von der Bedienung aus der Hand gerissen wurde.

Das Restaurant hat uns sehr gut gefallen . Pizza und Lasagne perfekt, hätten gerne noch mehr probiert 😍 Sehr freundliche Bedienung und angenehme Atmosphäre , Holzofen authentische Italienische Küche . Wir kommen gerne wieder sobald wir mal wieder in der Gegend sind.

Waren heute zum Essen im Al Gabiano. Zuerst haben wir ein Bruschetta bestellt. Dann kamen 4 Minitoastscheiben mit eiskalter ungewürzter Tomatenpampe. Dann haben wir uns 2x Selbstgemachte Pasta bestellt. 19,90€ und 15,90€pro Portion. Die Nudeln waren ungenießbar. 2x gleiche Soße und einfach nur noch andere Komponenten reingeschmissen. Die Rinderfiletspitzen waren hart, ausgetrocknet und eklig. Die Garnelen, lediglich 4 Stück hatten die Schwänze noch dran und da hab ich erstmal voll drauf gebissen. Auf die Frage ob es geschmeckt hat haben wir EHRLICH geantwortet und wurden total unfreundlich und frech angemacht mit der Aussage.... Haltet euch fest... Wenn es nicht schmeckt dann hält man seinen Mund, schließlich hat die Gastronomie schon genug mitgemacht mit Corona. Also Leute, wir empfehlen das Lokal nicht.
