PIZZA TEAM in Mainz

Ordered food for delivery. Called about 20 minutes after the actual delivery date, then 5 more times. Always heard new stories about why the food wasn't there yet. Great if you want to be entertained with fairy tales and lies. Bad if you want to eat.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed. We used to love ordering from Pizza Team, but unfortunately we no longer do so. We had a gypsy schnitzel, a kebab plate with rice, pizza rolls with sucuk and a margarita. The gypsy schnitzel tastes like warm curry and ketchup. The meat on the kebab plate is mushy and the rice isn't salted. The margarita is as thin as a sheet of paper. The only thing that was okay was the pizza rolls. The delivery man was very nice, but the food took forever to arrive.

The 2 stars only because the staff is nice. After eating it with my friend, I had food poisoning for a week (that explains the cheapest price of the kebab). I'm starting to think that the kebab skewer is made from rat meat.

the fries were really old and rancid, the schnitzels weren't fresh and had a disgusting aftertaste, we took two bites and threw the rest away in the trash, it's a disgrace to sell something like that as food, we work for our money and want to buy food that tastes like it The only good thing in the order was the cola we delivered last time I was really disgusted in my stomach area

Ordered today the shop should close fries old and hard fried egg was not a wi but scrambled eggs bad food because there can be now if there are minis points I would distribute them

Pizza was ok and had good toppings, but the service wasn't good at all, please and thank you aren't part of her vocabulary... She stands at the table waiting for the order and starts yawning with her mouth open... doesn't even ask if We wanted something to drink... I had to get up and get salt and pepper myself...

We waited 30 minutes for our fries because we were forgotten in the meantime.

I ordered, so you can't expect hot food after 45 minutes. Nevertheless, the Sucuk pizza with chicken was rather lukewarm. The pizza tastes cheaply made. Tomato sauce tastes like ready-made sauce from the supermarket. Overall, the pizza tasted more like a frozen pizza with ready-made ingredients. The kebab with house sauce was okay. Overall, the filling was too inhomogeneous, so that you come across huge islands of red cabbage, but then a huge mountain of meat without sauce. The bread was partly soggy and the meat was rather semi-seasoned. Therefore only a 3/5

Fantastic food and great portions! I've been to the pizza team in Mainz several times and I'm thrilled every time! The food is simply fantastic - the pizzas are perfectly prepared, the ingredients are fresh and the portions are really generous. If you leave here hungry, it's your own fault! The owner is incredibly nice and accommodating, you immediately feel welcome and in good hands. The service is top! I always look forward to my next visit and can only recommend the pizza team to everyone. I always enjoy coming here!

Very good meat, very fresh salad and very good bread. Only the distribution in the kebab was a bit strange and it didn't taste very consistent. The whole salad on top and the meat on the bottom. There was also a lot of staff there, few customers and still a very long waiting time.

Good prices and fast delivery, even late at night

1 kebap not delivered enough, didn't receive the right drinks, didn't want to correct it or return money, the food wasn't tasty either, a shame.

On Saturday we ordered, among other things, a Parma pizza with Parma ham via Lieferando. Instead of Parma ham, the pizza was topped with normal cooked ham. Absolute nogo unfortunately!

Ordered a kebab plate. Unfortunately it didn't taste that good. The sauces weren't that good compared to other restaurants either. Would not recommend.

Unfortunately it's always a disappointment. The last 5 times I've been there, none of the food was really well done. Neither the meat from the kebab nor the dough from the pizza. The meat is very fatty. Anyone who has ever bitten into cold ham knows what to expect in terms of taste. Even after asking to throw the dough back into the oven, it still doesn't come back through. There's also a new bell that rings excessively loudly every time someone calls. You almost have a heart attack every time (especially in connection with the fatty food). You just want to get away. I've really given the store enough chances, but it's enough. Save your money, even with prices from 5 years ago you would still be paying too much.

Unfortunately the food wasn't good. It took too long to arrive and arrived muddy and with too much water. The employee on the phone wasn't very friendly either. I would not recommend this restaurant.

I ordered on Lieferando and the app says the delivery time is 30-55 minutes. I ordered an hour and 20 minutes ago and I'm still waiting for the food

I picked up a kebab to take away with a friend last night. These were so dry and without sauce that I had to put some sauce on them myself at home because otherwise it would have been inedible.

Super satisfied, would always order from there.

Just ordered food, arrived 10 minutes ago and went straight into the trash, a shame but unfortunately inedible, pasta completely over-salted, fries still raw, the meat from the chicken burger not cooked through... very, very sad, my friends never have any problems ordering there and they make me feel like they are A German ordering there only gives half as much effort as usual, very, very unfortunate

Delivery was nice but pizza wasn't delivered as requested. I have an allergy to onions and therefore cannot eat them.

Pizza tastes okay. When you're drunk, this is a good and tasty solution, especially when a lot of things in Mainz are already closed.

The two of us were there on a Sunday evening. In addition to the sumptuous kebab, there was schnitzel and fries. The kebab meat was almost perfect. The bread is crispy, the toppings are layered and therefore extra good. The fries are reminiscent of Aldi's steakhouse fries, only from the deep fryer and delicious. The schnitzel was also good. Overall, a surprisingly good takeaway with friendly staff, clean toilets and a good atmosphere.

Pizza is very tasty and was delivered at half past two in the morning as promised. Again and again

Went there last week and ordered a kebab with extra meat for 7 euros, okay, but the meat was cold, so I got a new one, but the taste, well, it's everyone's thing. In the second case, the sauce "sapped" through the bread, so it wasn't a burner. Staff was OK

I can recommend the Kentucky pizza with hollandaise sauce and jalapenos to everyone. Service top and very friendly and helpful.

Food is good, service and service is very good. We watched the chef prepare it. He made the food with a lot of love and really made an effort. Therefore we can recommend Pizza Team. We were also happy about the Merry Christmas served in February 😉.

Really delicious food - somewhat disorganized team.

I've ordered food there several times while on duty. So far only eaten pizzas and pizza rolls. However, these are incredibly tasty. The pizza is properly topped with cheese, which also has a good taste without being overpowering. The soil is rather soft and yet definitely a bit greasier. But this is not a negative point for me personally. But everyone has to decide for themselves. The topping is neat and the vegetables are still firm to the bite and not cooked soft or baked black. Overall, a very good shop where I always like to get my food.

We order medium size mozzarella pizza we wait for 20 minutes but the waiting is worth it.

Preislich gut. Der Döner war nicht schlecht.

Wir haben hier schon öfters essen bestellt. Das Essen war immer gut. Bis auf diese Woche Freitag. Bestellt habe ich mir einen Fitnesssalat. Geschmacklich hat es schon etwas komisch geschmeckt. Nach der 6 Gabel war es ungenießbar. Leider folgten danach starke Bauchschmerzen und starker durchfall. Um ehrlich zu sein habe ich so etwas noch nie erlebt. Die 3 Sterne gebe ich nur weil das Essen vorher immer „gut“ war.

Für 2 gratis Pizzen nachts um 3 gibts 5 Sterne!

Die jungs haben mir heute erneut bewiesen wie gut die eigentlich wirklich sind, die vorgesagte Zeit war exakt, meine Extra Wünsche wurden genauestens umgesetzt, das Service war mehr als zufriedenstellend und dass Essen war einfach köstlich!!!! Ich wünschte ich könnte euch 6 Sterne 🌟 geben können!!!!!

Pizza Team war schon immer der Kindheitstraum den ich mir gewünscht habe. Einfach nur Fabelhaft, ein Meisterwerk. Durch diese Geschmacksexplosion welche Pizza Team bietet, wurde das Know-How in der deutschen Gastronomie Industrie beigefügt. Mein Stammlokal, welches auch für immer so bleiben wird. Ps: Spezielle Grüße gehen an das Personal raus, welches mir eine wunderschöne Gastfreundschaft bietet. Vor allem der junge Mann an der Theke welche die Bestellungen aufnimmt. Letztes mal ging meine Cola aufs Haus. 😉

Ich bewerte grundsätzlich nie ernsthaft Restaurants aber hier muss ich mal raushauen wie korrekt die Mitarbeiter sind und wie gut das Essen ist, in Zukunft nun öfters 👍

Sehr leckeres essen. Die Atmosphäre im Lokal ist auch wunderberaubend. Ich bedanke mich auch sehr herzlich für das Dessert nach dem Essen dass aufs Haus ging.

You won't do better after a night of drinking! Traditional turkish food and a fun pizza selection. I'm particularly fond of the Western Pizza. But even without the drinking, the pizza is still good. And the prices are very reasonable, as is the wait time.
