Pizza San Marino in Saarlouis

Once upon a time, long, long ago, it was the best pizzeria in town. We've been ordering from San Marino for over 20 years!!! Those days are sadly over. Since Enzo sold the business, they apparently kept the recipes, but everything else fell by the wayside. Incompetent staff, including the owner. The first time we ordered, they delivered the wrong pizzas. All three had the wrong toppings. We were kind enough to keep them, but we complained to the driver. Oh well. The second time, we ordered for 7 pm. It was delivered at 6 pm. We refused to accept it because not everyone had arrived yet. After an apology, they finally delivered at 7:20 pm. It seemed the pizzas had been kept warm there. They were hot, but rubbery. Outrageous! The staff's incompetence was evident on the phone; there was no sign of friendliness, professionalism, or understanding. The third time, the same thing happened. We ordered for 7 pm for the family and even sent a separate written reminder. Well, what can I say? The delivery arrived at 6:10 PM. I sent the driver back, called, and asked to speak to the manager. The impossible response: "What am I supposed to do now? Remake everything?" Uh, yeah, of course. What else? Keep it warm again? Was that our fault? You should just shut the place down! If you're incapable of reading, listening, or responding to complaints professionally with friendliness and humanity, then quit and find a different line of work. It's a shame about a family-run Italian pizza business that's been around for decades. We won't be ordering from here again.

The food was delicious, and the delivery and customer service were impeccable.

I ordered through Lieferando. According to the app, my order was delivered at 7:43 PM. It's 9:35 PM and I still haven't received anything. Never again!

Ordered 32 cm pizza, only got 28 cm pizza

We ordered food at a set time, but the driver was late, and the food was only lukewarm. We ordered a 32-cm pizza, but it apparently shrank to 28 cm on the way.

Unfortunately very disappointing. The bowl with the spaghetti Bolognese is only half full. The carbonara was well cooked, but no ham/bacon or anything in it. No bread with the entire order. Not good

Too long waiting times really suck

We (5 people) ordered a family pizza together and were totally shocked when we saw it. We had the halves covered in different ways, which looked absolutely unpleasant. On each slice of pizza there was exactly one slice of salami and one piece of ham. Totally disappointing at €26 for a party pizza…

Pizza OK, edge burnt, delivery time sucks! And after 2 hours of delivery, there wasn't even anything to drink for free

I have only ordered online so far. Whether you get a hot pizza or not is purely a matter of luck. Sometimes it works and sometimes you have to wait 2 hours for a single pizza. It is then only lukewarm. There was nothing to complain about in terms of taste

What a store, they are on vacation, the website says open, you order online and when I call the number in the online order confirmation after waiting over 80 minutes, a voice says, we are on vacation from August 16th to 22nd. Unbelievable, it doesn't even say on the website that it's closed. I call that customer-friendly. No more

Yesterday I had to wait 30 minutes longer for my pizza as stated. Pizza dough was still soft or half raw. Today I'm sitting on the bowl for the fourth time. Sauladen

I thought I would order from San Marino. Unfortunately a big disappointment! The garlic baguettes taste indefinable but not like garlic. The Pasta Arrabiata tastes spicy as it should but is otherwise very bland. You could also eat pasta from the package with tomato sauce. I won't order again, shame about the money...

We have ordered from this delivery service twice within a week, including a few pizzas as well as a pasta dish and a large mixed salad, and have been overall happy with the food we have received so far. Our visually nice pizzas were really tasty and juicy, had good enough toppings and a fine, light dough. Unfortunately, a requested extra ingredient was missing from a pizza. The house-style pasta was overall okay and had a good amount of sauce, but this variation didn't entirely convince us in terms of taste. The mixed salad with delicious dressing could be a little larger in quantity. The dishes arrived hot in less than 45 minutes. Especially with regard to the overall good pizzas, we can imagine using this delivery service more times and can therefore currently recommend it to others.

You pay 11 euros for citizens with fries to get a handful of fries. Citizen Patty was burned to death. We definitely won't order again.

Really bad shop! 2 out of 3 orders arrive. Of the 2 orders, one is completely wrong. After consulting with the boss, we as customers are unlucky. 🤣 The first and last time we ordered there. Better treat yourself to another store.

Unfortunately the food (a schnitzel and turkey breast on a salad) was very cold. It is now the second time that the food is cold. We wanted to give the delivery service a second chance but were disappointed again. We won't be ordering anything there anymore. In addition, the price for 5 crabs, two of which were not cooked for an hour, is a high number. Very unfortunate

Order came significantly later than stated. Had to call and ask first. Pizza was then almost cold. Probably won't order again...

We had pre-ordered at 5:30 p.m. for 7:15 p.m. When the food wasn't there at 7:40 p.m. I called and was assured the driver was on the way and would be there soon! At 8:25 p.m. the driver wasn't there yet! So I canceled the order because it can't be that if you order 2 hours in advance you won't get 1x pasta, 1x pizza and 1x pizza bread delivered anywhere near on time! That's a distance of 10 minutes and even if it's busy, they had the order almost 2 hours before the delivery date and therefore enough time! Absolutely NO RECOMMENDATION from me! There are so many great options for ordering from which we will get something to eat in the future

Pizza war lecker, leider fehlte bei meinen Nudeln der Gorgonzola.

Habe Essen zum Abholen bestellt, ging alles sehr schnell, das Essen war frisch und der Service sehr freundlich und das Ambiente sehr einladend

Wir haben am Dienstag mehrere Gerichte bestellt. Die angegebene Lieferzeit wurde um 30 Minuten überschritten, also nicht wie angekündigt 25-30 Minuten, wir mussten 1 Stunde warten. Die Pizza selbst hatte keinen Geschmack, der Teig selber schmeckte nur nach Hefe. 3 Nudelgerichte, davon war eins überbacken das gar nicht überbacken sein sollte und beim überbackenen fehlte der Käse. Die Nudeln waren fade und außer Tomatensoße war nichts zu schmecken. Bei einem Gericht schmeckte man eindeutig heraus dass da etwas angebrannt war. Fazit: Das was da abgeliefert wurde entsprach absolut nicht den 5 Sterne Bewertungen, hätte ich da mal genauer hinschauen sollen... Es ist eine faire und konstruktive Kritik.

Bestes Essen!! Wenn man hier im Umkreis woanders bestellt bekommt man nur Schrott! Seit 10 Jahren wo ich hier bestelle ist das Essen immer sehr gut! Update : Das war mal so ,leider ins negative verändert, das Essen ist weniger geworden ,qualitativ schlechter und teurer,sehr schade!!!

Pizza Sophia Loren + Regina bestellt, wurden schnell in der angegebenen Zeit geliefert. Sie schmeckten vorzüglich, dünner Teig + Rand, knusprig und mit frischen Zutaten belegt. Der neue Besitzer macht seine Sache sehr gut! Immer wieder!

Bestellung teilweise falsch geliefert worden. Anstatt Rigatoni wurden Spaghetti geliefert und anstatt der Cola wurde eine Flasche Wein geliefert. Leider war eine Bestellung (Rahmschnitzel) mangelhaft. Fleisch war sehr speckig und trocken. Für 12,00 Euro pro Gericht hatten wir mehr erwartet. Zudem war die Rahmsosse sehr wässerig.
