Order an appointment more than an hour in advance; Five minutes before delivery I get a call saying that the order/requests cannot be carried out. The reason given is some obvious nonsense. Service not available. Wouldn't have ordered in the first place knowing that. Of course, food came too late. Addendum: Then the criticism is right, it wasn't a delivery problem, but a restaurant problem.

I've been eating my pizza here for years and the quality doesn't diminish, even when the staff changes. The dough is wonderfully fluffy and very tasty, with the aromas coming from the wood-fired oven. If you call in advance, you can have your pizza on your table or to take away within 10 minutes. Price/performance TOP 👍🏼

Guys, this is simply the greatest pizza in the world. After drinking and partying, it's the tastiest thing you'll get. While other stores already have... It's quick and easy. And suuuuuuuuuuper legga!!!

Got two pizzas and a pasta dish, all of them were delicious and reasonably priced. A must try while in Frankfurt for some quick food. Seating is minimal but not a big deal when the food is so tasty!

Food was good and tasty, but there's no place to sit. It's take away, but tastes delicious and is fresh.

We ordered at 10:25 p.m. and at 11:35 p.m., even though the app said the food would be there soon, it was simply canceled out of the blue and calls were ignored and the phone was switched off (not recommended).

Pizza petro is the best pizza in Frankfurt ever and I always went there to eat this delicious pizza, but one of the employees treated people inappropriately and many people will not like that.

Visually quite good, maybe a touch too dark. Cheese pull available. Fast, nice, could pay by card. Size good for my hunger, compared to the price hmm. Taste solid, especially for where they are. All in all, would do it again, can recommend👍🏻

Honestly, it's the worst pizza I've eaten, not the first or the best in Sachsenhausen or Frankfurt am Main... wrong... Normally there are a lot of people who are hungry and everyone has an appetite for a party, but I will never go to eat at Pizzeria Petro.

Despite the crowds, I quickly got a very good pizza.

I've been a customer for 30 years. I got pasta to take away twice today and the portions were halved, which I only noticed when I was at home. I then called the restaurant and unfortunately found out that some people have zero insight, so my conclusion will never be repeated

NORDIEST PIZZERIA IN THE WORLD. She tried to steal when paying, with too little change. Only got it back when other guests said I paid with €50. Now for the most mind-boggling filthiest!!! Food comes out of a hole in the floors and is placed on the ground (see photo). For minutes my lasagna, parma ham and salad lie on the floor between dirty shoes and staff with hairy legs wearing shorts. Super dirty and unsanitary. Lasagna and salad immediately thrown away. Parma ham on my pizza was really junk. Also thrown away after 1 bite. In the Netherlands, this pizzeria was immediately closed.

Best pizza since I've known Sachsenhausen, that was before 1982. The quality hasn't changed much. Just the price. But it's OK compared to the other pizzerias. Attention, not a restaurant. My tip, get something to drink, then some pizzas and go down to the Main.

Pizza Petro is a “must” on weekends or late hours. If you're hungry at night, you can get a very tasty pizza or very, very tasty pasta there for a reasonable price. Of course also a hotspot for the drinking scene in Sachsenhausen. The crowd isn't the most pleasant late at night. But you can still eat in peace. The staff are very friendly and the food is prepared quickly.

Good for a quick pizza however sadly not in the nicest area.

Petro Pizza in Frankfurt has been my go-to spot for delicious wood-fired pizzas for the past 5 years. The pizza itself was what I've come to expect from Petro's: a thin, crispy crust with a hint of char and fresh, flavorful toppings. The simplicity of the Margherita was perfect.

Clearly the No. 1 in Sachsenhausen. Who doesn't know Pizza Petro? Even people who don't come from Frankfurt are familiar with this name. Very centrally located close to Alt-Sachs. The food is very tasty and the prices are absolutely right. I come here often and order something.

I've been coming here for almost 50 years, as always, the pizza 🍕 tastes like it did back then, is prepared quickly and the selection is immense!

I came here with very high expectations given the good reviews, but I was served the worst cannelloni of my life. Just a disgustingly greasy béchamel sauce full of fat eyes and cheap cheese. I couldn't even eat a quarter of it, I felt sick afterwards. Once and never again

The quality has deteriorated significantly as has the friendliness. An original Italian PIZZA simply tastes different. The products are just 0815, the only advantage is the opening times, but even then I would try other options in the future before I go there again. Oh and ask again whether the products on the menu are really what you mean. They probably have a different opinion on the naming.

Good stone oven pizza, you wouldn't expect it in this place. But connoisseurs know about the quality of the pizzeria. It's hard to imagine Alt-Sachsenhausen without it.

Food was exceptional and so fast. Staff were friendly and approachable. Price was very good for the quality of the food.

The speed of preparation is very quick and the taste is excellent. Compared to other providers, the prices are really affordable. Additionally, the pizza maker was personable and accommodating, which made the experience all the more enjoyable. Unfortunately, however, there is very limited seating for visitors, meaning one may struggle to find a place to enjoy the meal in peace.

Gute Pizza, wenn man nachts noch Hunger hat. Service ist super, der Chef und sein Sohn behandeln alle Kunden mit Respekt. Nur das Ambiente ist bissl dürftig... Alt-Sachs eben...

Erstmal vorweg, die Pizzen sind echt klasse. Leider spielt die hygienische Sauberkeit dort keine Rolle, der Pizza Bäcker hustet ständig in seine Hand und macht direkt mit der Pizza weiter. Der Laden selbst ist auch nicht besser. Alle die Informationen spielen dort eine Nebenrolle, da Abends eh nur angetrunkene dort bestellen.

Haben hier bestellt und das war unglaublich lecker! Mir hat jemand mal gesagt das Petro nicht gut ist aber absolut das Gegenteil deswegen muss ich auch sofort schreiben. Wahrscheinlich einer der leckersten Lieferungen die wir je hatten, und war in einer halben Stunde da. Sind begeistert Carbonara war ein Traum, Lasagne auch richtig lecker.

Super Price performance Tasty pizza with very crunchy dough - not Napoleon style - but very good too. I would recommend their Sucuk pizza with egg, usually you don’t get it from normal authentic pizza place. Seating and eating environment is not ideal and more like a take-away place, however they provide some outside seats.

Immer wieder gut, wir kommen gerne nach dem Feiern hier her. Extrawünsche werden immer berücksichtigt und meine signature pizza (Sucuk, Sardellen, Zwiebeln und Knoblauch) ist der perfekte Abschluss eines Abends in Sachsenhausen!

The best Pizza in Frankfurt. Als Jugendlicher genoss ich besonders an Wochenenden meine Lieblingspizza „Pizza Spinat“. Und was soll ich sagen? Nach 40 Jahren schmeckt sie immer noch genauso gut. Und alles sieht wie immer aus, als sei die Zeit stehen geblieben. Das nenne ich mal Beständigkeit.

Immer lecker und günstig. Die Portionen sind immer sehr großzügig. Ab und an bekommt man das leckere Brot kostenlos dazu.

Super Essen, lange Öffnungszeiten und schnell die Pizza auf der Hand. Location, nahe der Sachsenhausener Partystraßen und drumherum Alternativen (wenn man keine Pizza möchte). Die Anlaufstelle für ein Nachtsnack.

Pizza knallt in einer harten Alkoholnacht anders krass! Bester Tipp in Altsachs wenn man Rilla ist. Ich kann mich zwar nie an den Service erinnern aber Ambiente ist auf gute Kopf wie Las Vegas.

Frankfurt has several great pizzerias, and this is one of them! It’s located in the old Sachsenhausen area and I believe it’s open until 4 AM. Many restaurants or places that serve food in Frankfurt close around midnight, So this is a welcome option.

Nachts die beste Pizza, schnell und dünner Teig. Tagsüber besuche ich aber dennoch lieber nah liegende Pizzaerin.

I am a vegetarian, I have ordered Petro al forno , I have asked many time Ist es Vegitarisch?(is it vegetarian), they said yes. But they gave me Rind Fleisch, I ate two bites then I got to know. I asked them it’s wrong but they said it’s ok and take money. They did not apologise even a bit. It reay hurt my sentiments.

Seit mehr als 25 Jahren, vielleicht sogar seit der Eröffnung, haben meine Kollegen und ich Pizza Petro nach unseren 'Sachsenhausen-Abenden' als Abschluß aufgesucht und waren nie enttäuscht. Nachdem wir durch diverse langzeitige Auslandsaufenthalte und Verrentung in den vergangenen Jahren keine Gelegenheit mehr hatten, diese Besuche wahrzunehmen, kam ich nun wieder durch meine Frau, die früher hier sehr gerne und auch nach Schulungen eine Petro- Pizza essen wollte, zu dieser Lokalität. Deshalb kamen wir jetzt mit der ganzen Familie. Es handelt sich nicht um ein Restaurant sondern um eine kleine Pizzeria mit drei bis vier Standplätzen im Lokal und Sitzplätzen außerhalb des Lokals auf dem Bürgersteig. In der Übergangszeit ist es dort etwas zugig, was sich im Sommer aber sicherlich als sehr erfrischend zeigt. Der Pizzabäcker geht sehr gerne und freundlich auf Sonderwünsche ein und die Pizza schmeckt nach wie vor hervorragend.

Ich habe eine Pizza und einen Salat bestellt. Ausnahmsweise habe ich mal hier bestellt, da die Lieferzeit nur 20 min. betragen sollte. Angekommen ist das Essen aber erst nach 70 min. und das unter der Woche! Ich wohne 7min. von der Pizzeria entfernt. Etliche Pizzerien außerhalb Frankfurt hätten das Essen schneller geliefert. Nun gut das war zwar ärgerlich aber kann passieren jedoch war das gelieferte Essen eiskalt. Die Pizza roch und schmeckte als wäre sie 3 Tage alt und sah auch dementsprechend aus. Nach einem Bissen war Ende bei mir. Der bestellte Salat war angeschimmelt und sah auch nicht besser aus, hier habe ich mir das probieren erspart. Leider gibt es bei Lieferando nur die Möglichkeit eine Mail zu schicken, deswegen wird es wohl dauern bis meine Beschwerde Gehör bekommt. Ich habe dann doch bei der Pizzeria meines Vertrauens bestellt und sieht da, 10 min. nach Bestellung schöne heiße und leckere Pizza da. Tut euch ein Gefallen, bestellt wo anders oder kauft euch eine Tiefkühlpizza und macht sie auf der Heizung warm. Die wäre mit Sicherheit genießbarer!
