Absolutely recommended in every respect. Very, very friendly and attentive staff. The food is beautifully prepared and delicious. We'd love to come back.

Friendly and quick service as well as good cuisine at fair prices. Parking spaces in front of the door. Be sure to make a reservation because the magic show next door is very crowded.

A very welcoming restaurant with a varied menu. We were very satisfied with the taste of everything - unfortunately we were not impressed by the speed of the service, even when we asked, so we left without the third course. But we'll come back for a second chance ;)

The food was OK, but I would have expected more for the high prices. There are definitely better alternatives in the area that offer better value for money. A plus point is the beautiful ambience – you can really feel at home here. Unfortunately, that alone isn't enough to justify the high price.

Phew, that was nothing. Great location, beautifully done. Service very friendly, relaxed and quick. So until then everything is good. Then came the roast beef with spaetzle. For God's sake, I have never, ever had such cheap, terrible and inedible ready-made spaetzle in a restaurant. Very bad quality, taste underground. If spaetzle is purchased, please do so with quality. The taste of the roast was ok, but nothing more. It's a shame, but it really doesn't work that way

Very nice, great atmosphere (totally unusual) Went there for dinner before the Strotmanns Magic Show (which is close by). Very tasty food, the Swabian says it's great meat. The salads are a dream. Excellent service team. Price performance is right I'll be happy to come back, I also have to try my companion's burger (not shown in the pictures).

We visited the PILUM in the Roman fort in Hallschlag on a quiet Saturday evening with a prior reservation. We were looking for a location for a wedding and came across this restaurant and wanted to see for ourselves the atmosphere and the food. The first thing you notice when you arrive at the restaurant is the huge outdoor area. This is very invitingly furnished and well protected from wind and weather by a high wall around the outside and large umbrellas. The outdoor area is less wheelchair accessible, as the chairs and tables (at least the ones I saw) are in a "sea" of small stones and are also surrounded by larger stones that first have to be overcome. Some seniors who were guests here during our stay also had problems with this. The wall protects you from the wind, but if you sit right next to it, like we do, it feels a bit cramped. The interior, however, is kept very dark. This is mainly due to the wood of the old building. Therefore this area was less inviting for me, The service at PILUM is great. At least the one employee who served us was extremely cool. Here we noticed that someone was enjoying their job and the guests noticed that too. Something like that immediately lifts your mood. Nothing seemed fake here. The menu is from all over the world. Many different cuisines are combined, but finding a common thread is very difficult. Due to the different selection, I also assume that many of them are finished products. We had a falafel plate and squid rings. Everything was beautifully prepared and served quickly. There was an extraordinary lavender spritz to drink, as well as a homemade lemonade with some herbs, including Thai basil and lemongrass. The falafel plate wasn't bad in itself, but nothing on the plate really convinced me. Neither the hummus nor the tomato sauce were authentically Mediterranean. According to the waitress, the fallafel were homemade and were surprisingly solid, but unfortunately they don't come close to those made by a Lebanese or Arab. But they don't have to. The squid rings and side dishes were also good. We got full and paid around 50 euros for it. Unfortunately, this has become normal these days. In my opinion the stay doesn't do justice to the price. I'm missing noticeably fresh ingredients and a common thread in the menu. Instead of combining many different cuisines, you can concentrate on one cuisine and then use synergy effects there to cook as much fresh food as possible. Since PILUM claims to be a restaurant, it is also measured against other restaurants and therefore gets a 3 out of 5 stars from me.

Price performance and quality are simply top. Friendly service! Simply recommended

The food was very tasty and the waitress was very friendly. Were here to celebrate a birthday and thought it was great. The portions are large and the atmosphere is very nice.

Unfortunately the food is full of crap. We had the schnitzel and the pilum burger. The schnitzel was frozen and had this unnatural orange color from the breading. Is a clear sign of a finished product. The burger's patty had the typical consistency of a cheap industrial product from the supermarket and was therefore typically fart-dry. Offering something like that at normal prices is cheating on the customer. The only positive things were the fries and the friendly service. Anyone who has higher expectations than canteen food should avoid the pilum.

Very nice restaurant, great food. The three of us were at the trade fair in Stuttgart and our hotel was close to the restaurant. On the first evening I looked for locations and became aware of the Pilum. We were very positively surprised by everything. Since the food was very good, the staff was very friendly and we liked the atmosphere so much, we reserved a table for the next evening. It's a shame that it's so far away from our homeland. Otherwise we would be there more often. All in all a big thumbs up!!!

Mega delicious food, top service and great ambience

We are here once a quarter. The waiters always do a classic job, despite the fact that there is always a lot going on. The menu is not large, but varied. What I always think is very good is when the owner, in this case the owner, is on site and responds to problems professionally, as was the case on our penultimate visit.

Super nice place to eat. Service extremely friendly. Playground included. Food was very tasty and a good selection. Would love to come back.

We had a lovely dinner! 👍 The shrimp salad and bruschetta were fresh and very tasty. The dessert rounded everything off deliciously. Other guests smoking on the outside terrace is probably unavoidable, but not ideal for non-smokers.

A perfect evening and despite the oppressive heat and a full house, always attentive, friendly and patient service. The kitchen was great, everything was perfect, our 100 guests were thrilled, many mentioned that again. An extraordinary event paired with extraordinary gastronomic performance, chapeau and thank you very much for that!

A beautiful outdoor area invites you to linger and both the service and the food are of good quality. I had dinner here on two evenings and I can only recommend a visit. The price/performance ratio is also appropriate.

We recently had the pleasure of celebrating a birthday at Pilum Restaurant and all I can say is it was an unforgettable evening! As soon as we entered the restaurant we were greeted by a wonderful ambience. The loving decoration and stylish furnishings created an inviting and festive atmosphere that perfectly rounded off our special occasion. From the starter to the main course to the drinks, everything was of the highest quality. A big compliment goes to the kitchen – every dish was a culinary delight and our guests enjoyed it excellently. The selection of food was excellent and the presentation of the dishes was equally impressive. We would particularly like to highlight the outstanding service that we experienced that evening. Luca, who served us throughout the evening, was simply fantastic. He fulfilled all our wishes with a smile and made us feel completely comfortable. His commitment and professionalism played a key role in making the evening go so wonderfully. All in all, our visit to Restaurant Pilum was a complete success. We would like to thank the entire team for this great evening and will certainly come back soon. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Pilum in Stuttgart gave us an unforgettable evening! The bruschetta as a starter was a real culinary delight and left us wanting more. The filled dumplings were wonderfully prepared and simply delicious. For the main courses, we each had different dishes and each one was perfectly presented. You can tell that the cooking here is done with a lot of love and skill. The crowning finale was the dessert: a Tartufo Nero and a chocolate mousse that melted in your mouth. Plus a fantastic espresso, which rounded off the evening perfectly. The ambience and service were also great – friendly, attentive and warm. All in all, an absolute recommendation!

Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Nice place, with a lovely garden. Service was very good, waiter was fast and funny guy. We were a group of people having dinner, food was really delicious. I had a open white wine, I was quite surprised over the quality. My meal was absolutely great.

Very pleasant here! On the first day you are greeted warmly, the day after with a handshake and the immediate question: “Drinks like yesterday?” The food is very tasty and comes to the table quickly, and the ambience is convincing. Definitely worth a visit!

Unfortunately there is no small side salad to order. If there is no reservation inside. Everyone sits close together, hardly any distance, even though there is enough space. To space the guests apart more relaxed.

A beautifully decorated restaurant with a nice atmosphere. The service is good, fast, friendly and attentive. The map offers a selection from many areas. Our dishes were a good average. Unfortunately the falafel was far too dry.

The food is good and at least the non-vegetarian dishes are also very decent portions. However, the vegetarian selection is a bit boring. The ambience inside is very nice. The outdoor area is basically the same, unfortunately it is located in the inner courtyard of the Roman fort, which resembles a concrete desert.

We celebrated our birthdays with 10 people and were very happy. I was pleasantly surprised that the waiter didn't ask about the drinks first, but rather about the food we wanted to order. This really doesn't happen often!!

A really nice restaurant with a lot of charm. We were warmly welcomed and served quickly. The selection of food and drinks is very large and there is also plenty for vegetarians. But the onion roast is particularly recommended - perfect meat quality with delicious spaetzle on the side. I will definitely eat here again when I am in Stuttgart! We recommend.

There were four of us and we each had a different dish - all 4 were delicious. The service staff is friendly, quick and attentive. The restaurant is housed in an old barn (or similar) and is open right up to the roof ridge. This, combined with the Mediterranean touch, creates a cozy atmosphere. You just feel comfortable. A beautiful outdoor area gives hope for summer. We will definitely come back then at the latest.

A huge room and still a very pleasant atmosphere, we were a group of 5 people and we were all able to talk without having to shout. Enough space for the next table. The food was very good, vegetables were perfectly al dente. We will be back.

The decoration of the restaurant is great and the service is also very good. For the shrimp pasta I ordered, the shrimp seemed to be stir-fried separately from the noodles and not integrated at all. It was ordinary and the price has also increased a lot. Feel sorry!

Pilum, a restaurant with flair. The service was great. Despite it being very crowded, there was always someone present. The food was delicious both visually and in taste. I had the Pilum Burger with salad and, for dessert, the chocolate cake with a liquid center. The price of the food was fair. Can highly recommend the restaurant. I'd love to come back.

Wonderful opportunity to eat, meet friends and have a drink. Wonderful inside. Food and drink very good. Service good.....just a shame, I paid a lot extra for 1 slice of bread that I asked for, it's actually part of the service. Also great for sitting outside in summer. Please open often and maybe have coffee and cake at lunchtime if there are events around the corner, that would be great. Very disabled friendly

Zu Ihrem Kommentar: Klärungsbedarf haben wir keinen, aber wir kommen auch nicht mehr. Versprochen. Und Ihre Erklärung spricht erneut Bände über Ihre in meiner Sicht hochaggressive Art und wie Sie Kunden betrachten. Es muss eine ziemliche Verzweiflung vorherrschen, wenn unsere Assistenz während der Feier das Telefon von der Besitzerin überreicht bekommt mit den Worten: da mein Mann. Dass unsere Führungskräfte für die krankheitsbedingten Ausfälle und damit entgangenen Gewinn einspringen würden, war zu dieser Zeit bereits geklärt. Die Location ist schön, Essen und Getränke in Ordnung. Schade, dass man sich am Ende dann alles mit einem Rutsch verhaut. Kunden stellen Multiplikatoren dar und ich glaube, dass sich die Besitzer bei aller Enttäuschung damit keinen Gefallen getan haben. Als Gast hatte ich jedenfalls den Eindruck, dass es hier nur um Umsatz geht. Schöner Schein. Schade.

Wir waren schon öfter hier, da haben wir im Freien gesessen, da war es super. Die Bedienung ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. In der Gaststätte hat mich die Sitzplatzanordnung an ein Bierzelt erinnert und leider haben wir unser Essen auf einem Kuststoffteller serviert bekommen . War schon enttäuscht.

Zum Essen: das Essen war ausgezeichnet lecker, ich hatte einen Zwiebelrostbraten das Fleisch war sehr gut ich hatte es Medium genommen und die Spätzle waren halt typisch schwäbisch gut gekocht Zum Service: die Bedienungen waren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wenn man zahlen wollte waren sie sofort da. Zum Ambiente: das Interieur innen drin war sehr nach der alten Römerzeit was natürlich voll passte man fühlte sich gleich wie damals vor Christus. Die Klos waren auch sehr sauber.

Super Service, freundlich, aufmerksam, geniale Teamarbeit. Alle Essen trotz großer Gruppe und vollem Restaurant zusammen an den Tisch serviert. Kenne das Pillum seit vielen , vielen Jahren. Momentan aber einfach umwerfend genial. Zufällig kamen einige von uns aus dem Gastronomie Bereich - Ausbildung. Es hat richtig Spaß gemacht zu sehen wie Gastronomie doch auch gehen kann.Danke
