“A Gem in Stuttgart” I recently stayed at Donvia Stuttgart and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome. The rooms are modern, spacious, and exceptionally clean, with attention to detail that’s hard to find elsewhere. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom felt like a mini spa, complete with luxurious toiletries. The location is perfect—close to public transport and within walking distance of some great restaurants and shops. Breakfast was a highlight, with a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options that catered to every taste. I also appreciated the small touches, like the complimentary water in the room and fast Wi-Fi. Overall, Donvia Stuttgart offers excellent value for money and feels more like a boutique experience than a typical hotel stay. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in town!

Super lovely staff (especially Mira and Rosa), great ambience, great value for money

This restaurant was not very well prepared for the larger group even though we had reserved in advance. Pizza was not the best I’ve had before. Some of the others were satisfied though with their meals. Location is really nice.

The food was incredibly tasty and the price was completely okay. The waitresses were super nice and the atmosphere was wonderful. We'd love to come again.

Very disappointing experience. We had planned (and reserved) a birthday for 10 people. When we arrived we were seated outside at zero degrees because the table in front of us wasn't ready yet. The women in our group were really cold. We then ordered drinks, saying we could sit down later. Unfortunately, this turned out to be wrong, and after a few minutes we could no longer be guaranteed that this would be possible in a timely manner. At least we got the drinks on the house and the staff were at least friendly, but I've never experienced anything like this before and this is unacceptable - especially since we were celebrating a birthday and it was really difficult to spontaneously find a table for 10 people on Saturday to get it in another restaurant.

We love the pizzas at Don Via. It feels like they get even better with every visit. They are large, have plenty of toppings and the dough is super fluffy and crispy at the same time. I had the Vegetaria - see photo. Tip: You can even get a discount using the NeoTaste app.

We were there yesterday, some of the dishes arrived very late and after repeated reminders, and at least 5 people served us within 2 hours. Different waiters and the food wasn't particularly tasty either..

The waiter Yongfu is very good looking and very friendly employee. I haven't seen such a nice employee in a long time.

The food and especially the ambience is really nice. But nothing compared to Yongi, who served us very well and fulfilled all of our wishes. Rarely have I seen such a good young man who really tries hard.

Das Essen ist wirklich unglaublich lecker. Auch das Ambiente ist super schön und man fühlt sich sehr wohl im Restaurant. Leider dauert es immer sehr lange bis jemand vom Service an den Tisch und vor allem das Essen kommt. Die Cocktails sind lecker aber man merkt, dass sie von Laien zubereitet werden, die Mischverhältnisse stimmen nicht immer so ganz. Alle Mitarbeiter sind aber unglaublich nett und bemüht ein gutes Erlebnis zu schaffen.

Italian dishes were ok, better avoid the rest. Unfortunately the service was very bad and chaotic. Guests' clothing was soiled twice and the wrong dishes were served several times. In the end we were portrayed as liars and an employee from the kitchen argued aggressively with us. It was about 4 tiramisu as compensation for the messy evening. We had a 400 euro bill at the table. It was one of my worst experiences at a restaurant ever. It's a shame about the beautiful atmosphere. P.s. The tiramisu is so dry and has way too much cocoa powder, you almost choke on it.

Good food at a very good price-performance ratio with outstanding service!

We were a group of 6 people, the ambience was good, a bit noisy but it is also a large shop. Food very inconsistent. The pasta dishes were good, but many were just average or bad. The 1 star rating is due to the poor service. I think we had 6 different waiters, all very young, inexperienced and not attuned to each other. A few of my highlights: ordered a bottle of wine for 6, tried sips in all the glasses (?!) and then filled 2 of the 6 glasses to 0.2l until she realized that it didn't work. So the remaining people only got a spit swallow. Of course we ordered another bottle haha. We had to ask for plates for the starter and three times for the right cutlery for the main course. No eye for important details. Communication problems with the staff, who couldn't pronounce the dishes correctly and sometimes brought dishes from other tables. It's all pretty wild. 3/6 waiters were friendly, I think the other 3 were just hectic and overwhelmed. Once, right after the main course was served, a waitress came and asked if everything was there and OK. No one else was there, neither to ask if everything was okay nor to take drink orders. They always had to be placed if someone happened to walk past within shouting distance or brought food. After we complained about a side dish and were offered a dessert as compensation, things really started. A second waitress came and asked for feedback. This not only received the feedback on the side dish, but also the entire feedback (bad side dish, beef strips fried to death, dishes mixed up and not brought, nothing cleared away or only when asked, 2/6 people soiled with dirty cutlery when clearing up, just to name a few to name a few things). We were then offered the entire dessert on the house. Good until then. The same waitress then came back and wanted to know which waitress it was with the dirty dishes, which we found extremely strange and inappropriate. Without the information we can't get dessert on the house because none of them remember this happening. Interesting, because the person crawled around under the table between us and picked up the cutlery... You can forget about it... Then we decided that it was ok and we would rather pay for the dessert than name the 'culprit' . Topic settled for us. 2 waitresses came again to find the culprit, we stuck to the fact that we would rather pay and said we really wanted to put an end to the topic because we were increasingly annoyed by the situation, whereupon the waitress really wanted to hear that we should leave the shop anyway Leaving super happy. After we didn't say that and also pointed out that if this didn't stop now it would be a reason for a bad rating at the latest, everyone shrugged off until the cook (??? Or head chef? I don't know) came out extremely emotional and unprofessional , to basically tell us again that none of this ever happened and that the waitress is now crying. Aha? Didn't stop discussing, had zero interest in a solution and in the end no one thought about the possible negative consequences. If it hadn't been for the discussion, they would still have gotten their tip from us, which would have been more than the value of 4 or 5 desserts on a bill of almost €400. So they didn't get a tip, we'll never go there again, we'll tell everyone we know not to go there, we've gained some new bad reviews, and we've had the bill slapped on our table without a thank you or anything what 😅 when we went out we were able to see how the cook (?) was loudly and unprofessionally talking about us. An amazing visit 🤩 never again.

The Don Via is a little insider tip on the Theo. We really like the furnishings and the not-too-bright lighting. The food is always tasty and beautifully prepared, whether pasta, pizza, fish or meat. The waitresses are friendly. Portions are large, prices are absolutely fair. You should make a reservation as it is often full. One star deducted because we had to put the money on the table after no one came to us after half an hour of registering the payment request. There is a lack of attention from the staff. Our table could have been immediately filled again with waiting guests. We'll still come back.

There were 8 of us there on a Saturday and the food came to the table at relatively the same time. Both the taste and the service were top. 👍

Normalerweise schreibe ich keine schlechten Bewertungen, weil ich denke, dass jeder eine zweite Chance verdient. Aber was wir gestern im Don Via erlebt haben, war eine Katastrophe. Wir hatten für 6 Personen einen Tisch reserviert. Als wir ankamen, wurden wir vom Team überrascht angesehen, obwohl Tische frei waren. Kein Problem, wir konnten uns setzen. Dann ging es los: Die Getränke wurden gebracht, aber leere Flaschen blieben auf dem Tisch stehen, bis wir das Personal auffordern mussten, aufzuräumen. Bei der Essensbestellung wurde schnell klar, dass die Mitarbeiter ihre eigene Karte kaum kannten und uns oft nicht verstanden. Nach den Vorspeisen wurde der Abend zum Albtraum: Bestellungen wurden vergessen, Teller und Besteck fehlten. Wir mussten alles nachfordern, da niemand den Überblick hatte. Kein „Passt alles?“ – nichts. Das Abräumen der Vorspeisen? Mussten wir erbitten. Dabei wurden zwei von uns mit Gabeln bekleckert – ohne Entschuldigung. Die Hauptspeisen waren nicht besser: Fleisch totgebraten, Kartoffeln roh, Beilagen falsch. Selbst Steakmesser gab es nur auf Nachfrage. Die Rotweingläser waren dreckig, wir mussten sie selbst säubern. Die Kellnerin goss den Wein unkoordiniert ein, bis wir genervt eine zweite Flasche bestellten. Als wir das alles ansprachen, wurde uns ein Dessert aufs Haus angeboten – ein fairer Vorschlag, dachten wir. Doch dann wurde das Angebot zurückgezogen, und man versuchte, uns zu einem Schuldigen für die heruntergefallenen Gabeln zu drängen. Als wir das verweigerten, eskalierte die Situation: Der Küchenchef kam an den Tisch, unterbrach uns ständig und ließ seinen Frust an uns aus. Am Ende zahlten wir 330 € – ohne Trinkgeld – und verließen das Restaurant unter Schimpfen des Küchenchefs. Alles, weil ein Dessert offenbar weniger wert war als zufriedene Gäste. Fazit: Wer guten Service und einen entspannten Abend sucht, sollte Don Via meiden.

Prices and food are okay. The upper floor is comfortably darkened. Unfortunately a bit narrow and loud downstairs and too bright when there is a lot going on.

We had reserved for 5 people and got a table for 4. If the waitress wasn't interested, we had to find a chair ourselves and squeeze in. Food didn't come until more than an hour after we ordered, it tasted good but it wasn't anything special.

Very diverse menu! Very tasty dishes! The only drawback: the spaghetti made from the parmesan loaf was very tasty, but the sauce was extremely creamy, even though the sauce should usually only consist of butter and parmesan. Still very tasty, but a bit unexpected because it's more of a Parmesan cream sauce.

I've never experienced anything as catastrophic as yesterday! Absolutely lousy store in every way!! Service underground, food if you can call it that, absolute disaster! As a starter we had an oriental salad, tomato soup and pizza rolls with sour cream! The salad had no dressing, I complained twice about the dressing, nothing came! Tomato soup was sour and spicy so it was hard to eat. When the starter was cleared away, we were asked if we wanted to pay...we then explained to the waitress that we were getting a main course and would like to have something to drink! She said she was sending her colleague…..who never came!!!!!! Main courses: 1 beef steak that was so tough you could hardly cut it, a Quattro Formaggi pizza that was raw, a pizza that I can't even describe the taste of because the toppings on it just tasted horrible, and a wrap that never arrived! We complained about the wrap twice but nothing came! After we left almost everything behind and I asked for the bill, the wrap arrived! We ordered it without tomatoes...of course it came with tomatoes. The bill came and we didn't accept the wrap either. When I wanted to pay, I saw that the wrap was on the bill!! I told the waiter who then removed it from the bill. We only saw that another employee or boss, no idea, came to the window and looked at our table. There was no debt relief or anything else!! Very poor performance, be it from the employees or even from the boss! I would definitely advise against visiting this store! His only luck is being in a busy area and having a lot of foot traffic! If this shop were in a different area and the quality was always the same, I'm sure the shop would be closed long ago! I am a chef and restaurateur myself!!!

Ich war sehr beeindruckt und positiv überrascht, sowohl das Essen als auch der ausgezeichnete Service und das Ambiente waren hervorragend. Mit der Reservierung hat alles bestens geklappt, und wir durften einen wunderschönen Sonntag Abend im Don via verbringen. Kann ich wirklich nur weiter empfehlen, es lohnt sich!!

If you fancy tough meat, order the “Roast Beef Wrap” First of all, there was relatively little meat in it and it was tough. In some cases it was difficult to cut the meat with the dull knives. The homemade patatas were okay, but rather lukewarm.

Very disappointing! Never again! We traveled an extra 100 km for 6 people to eat at Don Via. Our reservation had been confirmed in advance, but when we finally arrived on site we were simply turned away! No table for us, even though we had a reservation - and without any explanation or apology. We were treated unkindly and literally sent out. Such an experience is absolutely unacceptable, even after a long journey. I will definitely never go here again and can't recommend it to anyone who values ​​reliability and good service!

Unfortunately we didn't have a recommendable stay here. When we sat down at the table inside, we quickly noticed the cold draft, so we sat down at a table on the upper floor. After we swapped the table because of the cold draft, the 2 other occupied tables from the ground floor followed upstairs with the same reason. The waitress seemed overwhelmed; she had seated us at the table and noticed us, but only brought the menu after about 25 minutes. The cocktail wasn't of the quality we're used to. The menu offers, among other things, king prawns as a starter, but you get small shrimps swimming in fat, and unfortunately there was no sauce as stated. The wrong advertisement was explained to the waitress and that it was irritating, not to mention the difference in quality and price regarding king prawns and shrimps. Some of the shrimp was eaten and the rest of the dish was returned. A price adjustment would have been fair, but was not taken into account in the invoice. In itself it is a nice atmosphere, but unfortunately we didn't find the essentials (food, service & cleanliness) to be good. The windows inside and outside look like they haven't been cleaned in a long time, and the actually nice light bulbs in the restaurant are dusty and not cleaned. The glass from the candlelight was smeared with wax on the first table as well as on the second and the tables next to it and gave the impression that they had not been cleaned. Since our visit was disappointing, we will not be here again and will prefer restaurants that have so far impressed us positively.

Wir hatten hier leider keinen zu empfehlenden Aufenthalt. Als man sich an den Tisch im Innenbereich gesetzt hat merkte man schnell die kalte Zugluft, wir haben uns daher an einen Tisch im oberen Stockwerk gesetzt. Nachdem wir den Tisch wegen der kalten Zugluft getauscht haben, folgten die 2 weiteren besetzten Tische aus dem Erdgeschoss mit der selben Begründung nach oben. Die Bedienung machte einen überforderten Eindruck, diese hatte uns am Tisch platziert und wahrgenommen aber dennoch erst nach ca. 25 Minuten die Karte gebracht. Der Cocktail hatte nicht die Qualität, die wir sonst gewohnt sind. In der Karte werden als Vorspeise u.a. Riesengarnelen angeboten, man erhält aber kleine Shrimps schwimmend in Fett, eine Soße wie ebenso angegeben, war dies leider nicht. Der Kellnerin wurde die falsche Ausschreibung erklärt und dass dies irritierend sei, ganz abgesehen von dem qualitativen & preislichen Unterschied bzgl. Riesengarnelen & Shrimps. Die Shrimps wurden teilweise gegessen, das restliche Gericht wurde zurück gegeben. Eine Preisanpassung wäre fair gewesen, wurde bei der Rechnung allerdings nicht berücksichtigt. An sich handelt es sich um ein schönes Ambiente, leider haben wir aber das wesentliche (Essen, Service & Sauberkeit) nicht für gut empfunden. Die Scheiben innen sowie außen sehen aus als wären diese lange nicht gereinigt worden, auch die eigentlich schönen Leuchtbirnen im Lokal sind verstaubt und nicht gereinigt. Das Glas von dem Kerzenlicht war ebenso am ersten Tisch sowie beim zweiten, als auch an den Nebentischen mit Wachs verschmiert und machte den Eindruck als würde man diese nicht reinigen. Da unser Besuch enttäuschend war, werden wir hier kein weiteres Mal sein und Restaurants bevorzugen welche bisher positiv überzeugt haben.

Large multi-level restaurant with outdoor sidewalk seating. There are nice seats by large windows facing the street. We had two Don Via Premium plates and found the individual composition of the individual components great. Everything was appetizingly prepared and tasted delicious too. Fair price. Very friendly service. Some stairs to the toilet. WiFi free of charge. Child friendly. Reservation via the website is easy. Gladly again.

The food is actually very good, but unfortunately it was already cold when it came to the table. Unfortunately the service was a bit unprofessional, it was probably relatively new so it wasn't that bad. It is very nicely decorated!

Good service, decent pizza (though definitely not the best in town). Its location near some hookah bars makes it feel more like a mid tier nightlife spot than an intimate Italian restaurant. The food is solid but there are many better options for Italian food in town. It’s relatively large so good for a big party on a casual evening. Our server was friendly and attentive.

Trotz Reservation im Voraus war leider kein Tisch frei. Wir mussten selber Tische zusammenschieben. Service war unfreundlich und schlecht. Das Essen war ok. Schön wäre gewesen wenn alle 6 Personen ihr Essen gleichzeitig gekriegt hätten. In den Calamares hatte es Pommes Frites drin.

Scam! The Buffalarina pizza is not made with buffalo mozzarella. When I asked service, I was assured that it was buffalo mozzarella. When asked in the kitchen they admitted that it was cow mozzarella. I still had to pay the full price

Ordered delivery and never received my order after waiting 3 hours

So we order here via Uber Eats. Ordered for a specific PLANNED time frame. No estimated arrival time, no, an order for 8:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. With the note that the delivery person should please not ring the bell but rather call and we will come to the door. Since we have to put our baby to bed before eating. This is the second time that the food arrives half an hour earlier (i.e. 7:30 p.m.) than planned. And this time the bell even rang because we were busy putting our child to sleep and of course couldn't answer our cell phone. We didn't order for 7:30 p.m. Normally everyone would prefer fast delivery. But with a woken up, irritable baby and pissed off parents who can't eat the cold pizza until later at the PLANNED time. Not so great!

We reserved a table for 7 2 weeks in advance. You could choose whether it was a special occasion. I mentioned birthday. When we arrived our table wasn't even set. There were some people sitting at our table (without food) who then left at the request of the staff. It's clear to me that if we hadn't made a reservation, they could have occupied our table six more times, as there were always people standing at the entrance. After 2 hours we were asked if we were staying long because there were people at the entrance again. We consumed almost 300 euros. And such a question is not possible. The food was very good. The staff must be trained.

Leider lauwarme Lasagne gehabt, Essen generell nicht auf hohem Niveau. Fleisch war trocken, Preis/Leistung gut. Allerdings kriegt man für einen geringen Aufpreis deutlich besser gekocht und qualitativ bessere Speisen in der Umgebung. Sind aufgrund der guten Google Bewertungen (4,7) hin, was uns letztendlich enttäuscht hat

The ambience in the restaurant was good. The starters, drinks and main courses were delicious and the portions were generous. The staff was friendly and welcoming, but that evening it was very busy and service was a bit slow. I will definitely come here again

Positive: The store makes a nice impression and is super great and modernly furnished. The location on the Theo is unfortunately not advantageous, but the restaurant can't do anything about that. Negative: A service person was very attentive and nice. Another, however, greeted us very briskly and made no reference to our reservation - we had expressed a request for a seat - but asked where we wanted to sit. Not tragic, but also not organized. The wrong dishes were also brought to us several times, sometimes with multiple questions as to whether we really hadn't ordered them (we were brought a bruschetta and a pizza about 30 minutes after we had finished our actual main courses). The steak was tasty, but unfortunately the desired cooking point was completely missed (medium-rare was requested, the meat was done). The wrap was average and overall more of a bistro level. We also found it inappropriate that the kitchen staff and the service staff were arguing with each other about things so that the guests in the dining room could hear it. Also actually an absurdity in the catering sector! Conclusion: All in all, at best “okay”, but nothing more.

Not as good as it used to be. We had reserved a table for 8 people. Basically the restaurant makes a good impression. Unfortunately, the first ones had already finished eating by the time the last ones even got their food. A number of components on the grill plates were already cold, so they had been sitting for a while. Nothing was cleared away for almost the entire evening and so at the end we each had 3 or 4 empty glasses in front of us. Overall, rather below average and there are so many better alternatives in Stuttgart.

Hervorragende Atmosphäre. So ein leckeres Essen habe ich in Stuttgart noch nie gegessen. Und riesige Portionen. Das Personal ist übel nett und hilfsbereit. Sehr zu empfehlen und wir kommen immer wieder gerne.

Essen war sehr gut und kam schnell :) Im Innenraum leider schon sehr heiß, vielleicht kann man hier mit Ventilatoren nachhelfen. Draußen sitzen war für uns keine Option weil Raucherbereich. Online-Reservierung ging ohne Probleme obwohl sehr kurzfristig. Nachtisch kam zum Geburtstag sogar mit Wunderkerze. Schöner Abend gerne wieder.

Leider lässt das Restaurant Google Bewertungen systematisch löschen und Google macht das mit. Wir hatten vor Ort keinen schönen Abend. Der Service war mangelhaft, das Essen kalt, das Ambiente oben ist schön im Keller leider nicht. Ich empfehle jedem mal die aktuellsten Google Bewertungen anzusehen. Diese sind oft noch nicht gelöscht und zeigen die ehrlichen Ergebnisse

Ordered drinks and dessert. 5 people, you had to wait at least 30 minutes. They could have at least brought the water briefly. When our dessert arrived, we were given cutlery. No napkins. My crème brûlée was simply a soup. I spoke to the waitress and she said it's always like that with them. No, according to your pictures on Google, that's not the case. Apparently the waitress has no idea that the top of the crème brûlée becomes hard due to the caramelization of the sugar with a flame. If that's the case with you, then don't call the dish that, then it's not crème brûlée.

Das Essen war hervorragend. Ich mag das Don Via sehr. Aber der Service war eine Katastrophe. Wir haben alle drei unser Essen zu unterschiedlichen Zeiten erhalten. Und meine Beilage kam 15 Minuten später. Als mein Gericht bereits kalt war. Ich weiss allerdings nicht, ob es der Kellnerin geschuldet war. Da ständig ein Kellner kam und ihr Essen für die Shisha Bar in die Hand gedrückt hat. Obwohl sie an unserem Tisch beschäftigt war. Sie tat mir ehrlicherweise leid.

With a map this small, you can expect her to know it. We both had pasta and a small salad. Salad and dressing were good. Unfortunately, both pasta dishes are not the same. The noodles were too soft. In one dish the sauce was very bland, despite the seasoning. The dish was with truffle, which is actually sliced ​​thinly over the top. But we were just little spies… not visually so either. The other pasta was totally oily because of the sauce. At least another waitress responded to the criticism professionally and offered espressos on the house. Nevertheless: we wouldn't come again!

Hello, I ate here today and ordered the linguine con salmone, it was super tasty and the portion was huge. Unfortunately, the waitress looked around to see if anyone else wanted to order something, which I found very unfortunate and even if they tried to get their attention, it was rarely possible. But all in all I can only recommend this restaurant.
