A complete rip-off. Completely overpriced for what you get. A plate, not preheated, with a maximum of €5 in ingredients, for €37.50 is a disgrace! 150 grams of salmon with 3 tablespoons of vegetables... You should plan on a subsequent visit to a chip shop, otherwise you'll end up in bed with a growling stomach. More show than substance. Staff with worn-out trousers. Nice, but you should be well-groomed. The restaurant manager must notice something like that. As a welcome gift, you get 4 pieces of cold, soft white bread, Lidl-quality, with 2 teaspoons of olive oil drizzled onto a bowl like gold dust. When I think of Rome or Hamburg, where Italian restaurants serve it in bottles, it's downright laughable. Resolution: NEVER AGAIN!!

The food was very good, but priced on the high side for the area. We ordered sushi, burgers, and asparagus. The portions were rather small and not suitable for those with a large appetite. The service was very good, and our allergies were taken seriously.

Sehr freundliches, aufmerksames Personal. Wobei die jungen Damen leicht überfordert wirkten. Laute Innengastronomie. Bei schönem Wetter unbedingt die Außentische besuchen. Spargel mit Wiener Schnitzel am ersten Abend war ok, aber hochpreisig. Das Buffet am zweiten Abend war auf mittlerem Kantinen-Niveau, dafür sehr hochpreisig, bzw. das Geld nicht wert.

Very nice location, both inside and on the terrace with a nice view of the water. The cuisine is not focused on a particular style, which I always find difficult. But there is something about fish, which was also very good, I had spicy hamatchi sushi, very tasty. But the rack of lamb was also good, as was the roasted asparagus. Food and service just under 4.5 points, ambience slightly higher, therefore a total of 5 points.

We ate at Pier 23 today and absolutely loved it. The food tasted excellent, the wine was delicious and the location is great anyway. As a greeting from the kitchen there is bread with delicious spiced olive oil. The map is small, but nice. I would particularly like to emphasize the fantastic service. We were served by Philipp and we felt completely comfortable. Thanks for that, we'll definitely be back.

The excessive prices do not match the quality of the food. Unfortunately, the presentation of the dishes on our plates also differed significantly from the very nice photos in other reviews. Even if the restaurant is almost empty, the guest cannot choose the table, as tables are kept free for supposed guests - but they do not show up.

Hello, dear team from Pier 23, In this way we would once again enjoy the beautiful (and crowning) Evening on the 1st holiday praise the eir, Silke Uwe and Lars Büttner, in yours restaurant. The food again phenomenally delicious. (In my opinion it couldn't be better!!!) Duck, so buttery and tender! Our son was also thrilled (again!) So, all in all again more than successful and full marks again!!!

I can fully agree with all the positive reports here. Very nice atmosphere, delicious dishes, a friendly crew. Thank you for your hospitality, we always feel comfortable. Only a few more days and we are already looking forward to the New Year's Eve menu at Pier 23.

Vor zwei Jahren schonmal hier gewesen, und es ist immer noch großartig. Zur Vorspeise Sushi, Lachs-Sashimi, Beef-Tataki und Austern von der Tageskarte; alles sehr lecker und toll angerichtet; siehe Bilder. Lediglich beim Ceviche hat uns ein wenig Säure gefehlt. Sonst auch lecker. Bei den Hauptgängen hatten wir: Scholle, Knurrhahn, diverse Burger, ein wirklich tolles Risotto, die Ente und die Ochsenbäckchen. Auch hier, alles geschmackvoll und ein gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Dem standen auch die Nachtische in nichts nach. Begleitet von leckeren Getränken und vor allem einem lockeren und sehr freundlichen Service!Auch das Ambiente gefällt mir sehr; dezent und unaufgeregt modern mit tollem Blick aufs Hafenbecken. Haben uns an beiden Abenden sehr wohlgefühlt.

The restaurant is very nice and the waitresses were very friendly and competent on all three evenings of my visits. The burgers, fries and salads always taste fresh and tasty. The portions are plentiful. On the third evening I ate marinated salmon and pumpkin soup - both were also excellent and plentiful. The prices are okay for the quality.

We caught up with our departmental Christmas dinner here on June 24th. The food was excellent, the ambience and service were first class.

I can't say anything about the food. We had a White Russian here late at night. It was exactly how it was supposed to be!! Service super nice and quick! Even this late in the evening, cleanliness is still important here. This should be particularly praised. Everything fits wonderfully. We would love to come back.

Wir sind nur zufällig in Leer gestrandet und haben ein kulinarisches Highlight erlebt. Die Sushi Variationen waren wie von einem anderen Stern. So eine Qualität und ein solches Geschmackserlebnis habe ich persönlich noch nicht erlebt, nicht einmal in Japan. Der Service war dementsprechend sehr zuvorkommend und unaufdringlich. Das Ambiente ist sehr einladend. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

An absolute highlight of this restaurant. We ate there as part of an overnight stay at the Hotel Hafenspeicher. Great location and architecture, clean and simply beautifully done. The employee left nothing to be desired and looked after us in an outstanding way that we have rarely experienced and we are used to good guest service. Absolutely top. The dishes are a poem and prepared by the kitchen at a star level. If we come back again, only here at Pier23, that's for sure...

Got stuck in Leer on our way home to Groningen via train from Berlin. We were starving and we found Pier 23. Their pulled pork sandwich is easily the best BBQ I've found in Europe. It was undeniably good. My wife raved about their burger on the menu as well. Really happy that we found this place at such a late hour on a Friday evening.

The restaurant offers many nice seating options. The food is very delicious and can only be recommended. The employees take care of everything and drinks and food are always there straight away. They have a large selection of food and also very tasty drinks.
