The food is fantastic and the staff is super friendly and lovely. Here you can only feel good. The atmosphere is very cozy and authentically Italian. The best Italian in town!! The landlord Giorgio is very fond of children and gives every child a lollipop when they say goodbye. Absolute recommendation - we go there regularly!

My main course, the veal medallions, was not what I expected. Instead of medallions, I was served a minute steak with chanterelles that obviously came from a can. The lettuce leaf with half a tomato as decoration on the plate seemed very old-fashioned and unappealing. Frozen parsley was also used, which is disappointing considering the high prices. The taste of the dish was solid, but it lacked freshness and creativity. Conclusion: The San Lorenzo restaurant offers solid cuisine as long as you don't have high expectations. Unfortunately, the quality of the food does not justify the high prices. What was particularly disappointing was the lack of freshness and the careless details that we would actually expect in an Italian restaurant. Unfortunately, we cannot pass on this recommendation because the price and performance were not consistent for us.

Went there for lunch. There was spaghetti carbonara and maccaronu al arabbiata. The taste of the food was okay, but it was almost cold (there were four of us there) and the bread was a bit burnt. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

The food of the restaurant is very good and the service is also very good. The staff here is very friendly. If you are into hamburg then come and enjoy the food.

The ambience gets 4 stars because it is really nice. Cozy with lots of Italian flair. Numerous photos of actors, pleasant lighting. But that's about it. My mother and I came in on a Friday around 6 p.m. It was still empty and we were the first guests. And apparently we were disruptive. That's how it seemed to us. Welcome cold. The obligatory blackboard and menu were brought. My mother had veal liver in butter and sage with rosemary potatoes and a small salad with a white wine spritzer. I had the tuna salad and a water. The liver was full of tendons and most of it couldn't be eaten. Potatoes and sauce tasted good. The salads were of the lowest quality. Iceberg lettuce with two or three leaves of rocket, unripe tomatoes, a few snippets of pepper. The mushy canned tuna had been dumped over my salad. Vinegar and oil were probably present in the salad, but very, very sparingly. You could hardly taste any of it. No vinegar or oil was put on the table nor was there a pepper mill. Just two spreaders. Bread was also included, which was the best in terms of taste. 24.50 EU for veal liver of poor quality and 14.00 EU for a salad of the cheapest type and ingredients is pretty steep. Ok, we checked it off as experience. It should also be mentioned that the waiter was somewhat friendly. The owner or chef who was still there... well I would say in a bad mood is probably the best way to describe it. Never ever again.

If you want to eat something, the taste is there, but the portions are not that bad. It's a bit or far from Italian cuisine, but carbonara with ham and cream proves it. The service was nice, but there is no Italian cuisine here ;) I came across it quickly, on the run, I thought I would get nice, good Italian pasta, but I got the German version, which I couldn't eat.

I was surprised by the rain on the way home and found shelter here. A rock-solid Italian with a good daily menu. Particularly suitable for fans of the Ferrari brand... Beer is available from Peroni.

Don't understand the reviews here. If the food had at least tasted good, the prices would have been justified. But neither of those applies here at all. The only positive thing was the friendly service.

A typical pizzaria, The service was OK, unfortunately some of the pizza had become very dark underneath, but the toppings were good. If you don't want to experiment with Italian food, you can go there.

From the ambience to the food, there's actually little to complain about here! A little Italy in the middle of Hamburg. The next time I'm in Hamburg I'll be happy to come back.

Ein richtig toller und liebevoller Service, man fühlt sich wie zu Hause! Das Bruschetta und die Lachs Nudeln waren auch Mega lecki 🤍 Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Guter Service, gemütliches Ambiente aber nach zwei Besuchen und unterschiedlichen Gerichten muss ich leider sagen, dass das Essen eher Durchschnitt ist. Wir hatten sowohl Pasta als auch Pizza...beides war eher unaufgeregt und etwas fad. Da gibt es wesentlich bessere Italiener in Ottensen / Altona.

Super nettes kleines italienisches Restaurant. War mit meinen beiden Kindern zum zweiten Mal hier und kann es nur jedem empfehlen. Gutes Essen zu faireren Preisen und das in einem netten Ambiente. Klein aber fein. Dazu noch super freundliche Gastgeber die auch mal für einen Spaß mit den Kinder zu haben sind. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Unser 2. Stamm-Italiener bei dem wir schon unzählige Male waren. Wirklich alle Speisen sind sehr schmackhaft. Dazu ein tolles Ambiente und eine freundliche Bedienung. Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch.

Gutes Essen auch die Einrichtung gemütlich gestaltet. Gibt auch einen Außenbereich zum Essen. Personal sehr nett, war nicht voll am Abend aber Kellner nicht gerade der schnellste.

Leider nicht mein tollstes Essenerlebnis. Angefangen damit das meine Reservierung nicht gefunden wurde aber trotzdem einen schönen Platz bekommen habe. Dann die bestellten Pasta mit Pfifferlingen bestellt, wurde mir nach einer weile mitgeteilt das Pfifferlinge aus sind und man würde was anderes schönes zaubern wurde mir auf Nachfragen was dann alternativ gemacht wird gesagt... ich mach was schönes lass dich überraschen. Grundsätzlich habe ich nichts gegen Überraschungen allerdings hätte ich gewusst das statt Pfifferlingen schnöde Champions in die Pasta kommen hätt ich was anderes genommen. War okay aber halt nicht das was ich mir gewünscht hätte. Dann nach dem Essen noch eine Nachspeise und Getränk bestellt, diese wurde nach ewiger Zeit und des Nachfragens dann auch serviert allerdings ohne Getränk beim weggehen rief ich noch hinterher und das Getränk? Aber keine Reaktion...also okay Nachspeise war ... semi Lecker Tiramisu geht besser ...Panacotta war ok. Beim bezahlen fand ich dann leider die Kosten für Champion Pasta berechnet wie für Pfifferlinge ein wenig frech. Aber okay es war einen Versuch wert aber ich fürchte es wird mich dort nicht wieder hin verschlagen.

Wir hatten das Bruschetta, schon mal sehr zu empfehlen 😊, Dann 2 verschiedene Pizzen und jede war vom Teig und Geschmack genau richtig. Die Tortellini sind grandios und auch mit Lactose Problemen verträgt man die Sahnesauce gut. Die Spaghetti Frutti di mare sind im Grunde auch mega lecker und auch eine große Portion, allerdings waren sie heftig scharf. Das hatte ich wohl überlesen. Ambiente und Service sind stimmig, wir kommen gerne hier her.

Wir hatte das Vergnügen, das Vitello Tonnato, den Salat mit Pfifferlingen, das Entrecote, die Pizza Trüffel und das Tiramisu in diesem Restaurant zu probieren und muss sagen, dass alle Gerichte hervorragend waren. Besonders das zarte und saftige Entrecote war ein Traum. Das Ambiente draußen war in Ordnung und bot eine angenehme Atmosphäre zum Essen. Es gab jedoch einen Gast, der leider sehr störend war und die Erfahrung ein wenig beeinträchtigt hat. Alles in allem empfehle ich das Restaurant aber auf jeden Fall und würde außerdem gerne nochmal wiederkommen, um andere Gerichte zu probieren.

Wir waren dort am 13.06.2023 mit 2 Personen. Bestellt wurden Pizza Salami und Pizza Thunfisch. Beide waren sehr lecker. Service sehr sympathisch und herzlich. Klare Empfehlung. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder

Wir waren letztes Wochenende mit unseren beiden kleinen Töchtern im San Lorenzo essen und absolut begeistert. Das italienische Ambiente und die Stimmung ist toll, der Service war sehr aufmerksam und kinderlieb und das Essen wirklich lecker. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Ich war heute hier mit einer Schulklasse, vor dem Musicalbesuch. Vorab konnte eine kleine Auswahl für die Schüler besprochen werden, so dass wir nach dem Eintreffen sehr zeitnah essen konnten. Es war sehr lecker, die Kinder waren begeistert, wir Erwachsenen Begleiter auch. Unheimlich nettes Personal, tolles Ambiente und sehr faire Preise. Dazu alles sehr freundlich und unkompliziert! Absolut empfehlenswert, sowohl für Schulklassen als auch privat. Ich komme sicher noch einmal wieder!
