Tolles chinesisches Buffet! Das Essen war frisch, lecker und es gab eine große Auswahl. Besonders das Sushi und die warmen Fleischgerichte haben uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Alles war sauber und wurde regelmäßig aufgefüllt. Freundlicher Service und ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Wir waren vor Wochen mit 2 Hunden vor Ort und wollten heute noch Mal hin , haben unsere 2 Hunde wieder dabei ( 300km wohnen wir weit weg also nix mit Hunde Zuhause lassen ) Auf einmal voll pissiges Personal die Hunde müssen raus ( abgebrüllt wurden ) Also man kann sowas höflicher sagen und vor allem auch auf der Webseite und an der tür ein Schild machen ! Nie mehr werden wir hier essen kommen

Leider war der Service äußerst unhöflich. Die Angestellten reagierten aggressiv auf meine Fragen, insbesondere der ältere Herr. Sein Verhalten war höchst unprofessionell und hinterließ einen sehr unangenehmen Eindruck.

Bis zum heutigen Tage immer zufrieden gewesen. Heute kam die Enttäuschung, Büffet von 12.00 Uhr - 16.00 Uhr und ab 14.30 Uhr wird nicht mehr nachgefüllt. Auf Nachfrage wann noch einmal aufgefüllt wird kam dann ab 17.30 Uhr. 1 Portion hatten wir noch ergattern können. Sehr enttäuschend

Ich habe das Phönix Lübeck besucht und hatte eine sehr positive Erfahrung. Die Atmosphäre war modern, angenehm und einladend, sodass man sich direkt wohlfühlte. Das Essen war frisch, geschmackvoll und schön angerichtet, mit einer guten Auswahl an Gerichten. Der Service war freundlich, aufmerksam und professionell. Insgesamt ein schöner Ort für ein entspanntes Essen und einen gelungenen Aufenthalt.

Haben hier zu 2. Buffet für jeweils 28€ gegessen. Als wir festgestellt haben, dass die Größe des Getränkes mit dem angegeben Preis auf der Karte nicht übereinstimmt, haben wir nachgefragt ob der Preis bei der Rechnung angepasst wird oder wir zum Ausgleich ein weiteres Getränk etc. bekommen können. Der Kellner wollte dies aber partout nicht einsehen. Als ich kurz danach ein weiteres Getränk bestellen wollte, wurde dies abgelehnt und uns mitgeteilt, dass er keine Lust hat uns weiter zu bedienen. Wir wurden genötigt direkt zu zahlen. Wir durften weiter sitzen bleiben und zu Ende essen. haben aber keine weiteren Getränke oder Service bekommen. Ebenso blieben ab diesem Zeitpunkt alle dreckigen Teller auf unserem Tisch. Absolut schlechter Service für so viel Geld ist mehr als unverschämt. Kann ich nicht empfehlen!

Leider sehr unhöfliche Bedienung. Kann kaum deutsch, und reagiert aggressiv auf Nachfragen. Die Getränke sind mit der Menge nicht wie in der Karte beschrieben. Auf Nachfrage war kein Kompromiss möglich, nicht mal ein Glas Wasser als Ausgleich ist drin. Für 28 Euro Buffet einfach nur Frech und Respektlos, hier noch so hohe Preise für Getränke zu nehmen, und bewusst die Menge falsch anzugeben. Nie wieder.

Wir waren nach langer Zeit heute Mittag wieder mal da essen und muß sagen : sehr, sehr schlecht, wenig ausgebratenes Fleisch und sehr teuer geworden. Es steht in keinem Verhältnis zum Preis.!!

Wir waren mit der Familie im Rahmen eines Ausflugs in Lübeck am Samstag dort Essen. Es gab so wie Auswahl an verschiedenen asiatischen Speißen. Äußerst frische und gut aussehende Speißen waren es. Von den klassischem chinesischen Nudeln bis hin zu gebratenen Ente gab es wirklich viel Auswahl. Uns hat es insgesamt hier gut gefallen und würden beim nächsten Besuch in Lübeck gerne wiederkommen. 👍

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal beim Phönix essen und waren von der Auswahl und dem Ambiente begeistert! Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, wodurch wir uns wie zu Hause angefühlt haben. Die Toilette gleichen eines 5* Hotels sowie die Ausstattung. Beim nächsten Mal laden wir unsere Familien und Freunde auch ein! Immer gern wieder. =)

Besonders positiv ist uns aufgefallen, wie sauber und gepflegt alles war, sowohl das Restaurant als auch die Buffetbereiche. Das Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam, sodass man sich direkt willkommen fühlte. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder und können das Phönix jedem empfehlen, der gutes Essen in angenehmer Atmosphäre sucht.

Wirklich große Auswahl an noch roher Kost die dann nach Zubereitung mit einem Roboter geliefert wird oder die bereits zubereiteten Speisen. Mehr Auswahl zu finden dürfte schwer werden. Ich war heute mit meiner Familie in diesem Restaurant und kann nur Positives berichten, große Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war ok. Alles hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Servicepersonal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir fühlten uns rund um wohl und konnten das leckere Essen in Ruhe genießen. Vielen Dank! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Bisher die beste Sushi Auswahl, die ich in solchen Restaurants gesehen/gegessen habe. Alles wird frisch zubereitet und immer wieder aufgefüllt. Jeder kommt hier auf seine Kosten. Von Sushi zu Kids Menü (Nuggets, Pommes, Kroketten), gibt es auch eine Salatbar sowie die typischen Gerichte mit Reis und gebratenen Nudeln. Als Nachtisch gibt es zwei Eistruhen, Schokobrunnen, Früchte, kleine Küchlein sowie eine Candy Bar. Was ich besonders toll finde, bis zum 12. Lebensjahr zahlt man für Kinder je 1 Euro/Lebensjahr. Das ist sehr familienfreundlich. Das Personal ist wirklich sehr freundlich und räumt auch zügig die Tische auf. Getränke werden schnell gebracht und sind eiskalt. Toiletten sind sauber und ordentlich. Wickeltisch und großes Behinderten WC vorhanden. Ausreichend Parkplätze und barrierefreier Zugang vorhanden.

The food was not fresh at all and was cold. Sushi looked like it was yesterday. Never again.

A huge selection – everything from sweet to savory dishes is available. As always, it was delicious and fresh. I particularly liked the candy bar, where you could mix and match various gummy bears and jellies. Everything was clean, and there were significantly more varieties of candy than usual. They didn't skimp on the ice cream flavors either – instead of the usual three or four, there were many different ones to choose from. The staff was friendly but rather reserved. For example, they didn't ask if we wanted anything else to drink. I think it's a shame they no longer have lucky guests – that was always a highlight at the end of a visit for my little son. He really enjoyed these little surprises. Otherwise, the atmosphere has remained the same for years, which feels familiar on the one hand, but a bit monotonous on the other.

Better than many sushi restaurants and Asian restaurants. Price/performance ratio is top.

The staff is friendly and attentive. Everything is clean, and the food is plentiful and fresh. The prices are on the moderate side for the selection.

We were there again after a long time and were pleasantly surprised. We chose the lunch buffet. The buffet was very varied and was constantly refilled. Everything was also kept clean, meaning that if someone made a spill, the staff would wipe it up. The staff is very friendly, and the restrooms are very clean. We will definitely be back.

Good Asian food for the whole family....

Air conditioning is available, but is apparently not turned on for cost reasons. A significant shortcoming, for example, is the crabs, which are not deveined. I think it should at least be possible to remove the fecal tube from the crabs. It's a shame.

We've been there many times now and it just keeps getting worse. We always eat buffet there. The selection of hot dishes is getting smaller and smaller. There's less and less meat and more and more fish and seafood. We hardly eat that, so a visit is hardly worth it for us anymore. Additionally, the selection of alternative dishes like fries or nuggets is getting bigger and bigger, which is good for the little ones, of course, but this means there is less space for Asian dishes because it is taken up by the alternative dishes. The salad bar takes up additional space, even though Asian cuisine has so much to offer. The sushi selection is positive; it has grown, but since it's not the best sushi, I'd rely more on other options. During the live cooking, it took ages for the meat to arrive, despite robots saving staff. It really wasn't busy. Every time I put my plate down, there were 2-3 dishes on the roasting pan and no other plates, and yet I still got my meat after 20 minutes, and it was cold too. Last but not least, there were unfortunately no fortune cookies, which we were a bit disappointed about, as opening them together has become a tradition for us. Definitely not recommended if you don't like fish or seafood much. The significant price increase since the last time isn't worth it either.

Very large room, several large and small tables. The buffet was sufficient on a Monday (it's a bit cheaper on Mondays, but some items, like mussels, seem to be missing), and it was constantly refilled, as it was quite busy. My only criticism: a 0.3 liter drink costs only €1.10 less than a 0.5 liter, so I didn't have another one because another large one was too much for me. However, €4.20 for a 0.3 liter is too expensive (you have to pay €5 for leaving food behind at the buffet, which is understandable, but is it okay for drinks?)

Too expensive for too little. 29 euros for the buffet is quite a statement. There's a lot to choose from, but nothing is really special or particularly tasty. There's very little choice for vegans or vegetarians. The most expensive part of the buffet is definitely the Mongolian barbecue. If you don't want/need that, you'd better order something from the menu or eat somewhere else. The fried sushi is particularly tragic. It sits in a refrigerator with the other sushi and isn't crispy at all. The robot is quite funny. It brings the finished food from the Mongolian buffet to your table. The staff is very attentive and always there to help. They should consider setting a price without Mongolian, then it would be attractive, but this was my first and last visit. And it would be nice if you could find something "special" (Asian-style pork belly or something similar). A large drink also costs over 5 euros. So, you'll be starting at 34 euros there. (If you don't order a drink on a weekend, you still have to pay €5.) I can get better food at other restaurants for that price.

A real experience, super friendly, and sooooo delicious. The live chef and the delivery service were especially great.

We have been visiting the Chinese restaurant Phoenix in Lübeck for over 15 years and could recommend it with a clear conscience. During our last visits, we noticed that the quality of the food had deteriorated, somewhat for the worse, while the price for the lunch buffet had risen significantly to almost €19 per person. The squid rings were mushy, lukewarm, and relatively tasteless, and the soup of the day was heavily thickened and salty. The dishes served on the plates were also lukewarm and not hot. The cake slices and small marshmallows for dessert were noticeably overcooked and differed significantly in consistency from fresh produce. The highlight was a printed notice in the entrance area: It points out that a seating charge and corkage fee will be charged. Presumably, guests bring their own drinks into the restaurant due to the increased prices; I can't think of any other explanation for the notice. For a buffet for two people, including one drink each and an appropriate tip, our visit at €50 was not a good value for the price, although the waiters were friendly and attentive and the sushi was plentiful and tasted impeccable. We're now looking elsewhere and will perhaps visit again sometime in the distant future.

We were just there again and are seriously considering not going back! The food was good, but the grilled shrimp were overcooked and barely peelable. But what's crucial!!!: When you eat there, you have to order a drink, otherwise it costs a €5 seat fee (€3 for children). If I order a large bottle of water for two people, it still costs €5 for the second person!!! It's like I'm drinking one bottle of water alone while eating! And the current prices aren't posted, so you get a surprise when you pay! Instead of €24.90 per person, it's suddenly almost €30. Allergens are no longer listed next to the food, and you should ask the staff; they'll have to find out for themselves.

We were really looking forward to a lovely evening, but were unfortunately disappointed. The buffet selection was very limited, many dishes were constantly empty, and we often had to wait a long time for refills – that really put us off. What was particularly disappointing was that the restaurant is not at all child-friendly: no play area, nothing to make the visit more enjoyable for families. For what is offered, the price is, in our opinion, far too high. We'll give one star for the robots that brought the food to the table – that was at least a small special feature. And another star goes to the staff, who really tried to remain friendly and manage everything as best as possible. Nevertheless, it was unfortunately not a pleasant visit for us, and we wouldn't go back.

Spacious premises with plenty of space and a suitable atmosphere, as well as ample parking. The food was good overall, but I personally handed over a plate for the grill three times – unfortunately, the pieces of meat were burnt and dry each time, making them barely edible or at least very difficult to eat. The selection at the grill was rather limited compared to other areas. Overall, it was still satisfactory, and I hope they'll make efforts to improve it further.

Saturday, May 24, 2025 Lunch Buffet Unfortunately, as of today, I can no longer recommend the Phoenix. We were regular customers at the buffet today, and for drinks we had a Coke and a non-alcoholic wheat beer. After a hot/sour soup and a plate full from the buffet, I wanted a sip of wheat beer. Unfortunately, it didn't work out because the stem broke when I lifted the glass, and the beer spilled all over the table, trousers, T-shirt, jacket, and floor. The only thing the waitress said was that a clean stress fracture couldn't be possible. Instead of an apology, we got the full bill. Because I refused to pay for the beer, the waitress, after asking her supposed boss, waived the beer. Anyone who treats customers like that, who can't help a shower of beer, doesn't deserve to be a regular customer anymore. The Phoenix is ​​out of the question for us.

If you like buffet food, you can eat there with a clear conscience

The two of us went to the buffet on Friday evening. The selection was very extensive, and you can have various meats, such as beef, kangaroo, and venison, freshly prepared. The candy bar was particularly special! Another positive was that there weren't too many guests. This made the acoustics pleasant enough to have a good conversation without shouting. There is plenty of parking. The price for the evening buffet is €28.90! We highly recommend the Phoenix and will be visiting again soon. :)

First of all, I find 28.90 euros quite expensive. And since you are also pressured to order drinks, you should expect to pay around 35 euros per person. Although it looks like a wide variety of dishes, in reality there are just a lot of dishes with similar tastes. There aren't many options, especially when it comes to vegetarian dishes. Apart from salad and fruit, I wouldn't say the selection is particularly diverse. I also found it very annoying that the Chinese waitresses cleared the plates without saying a word and had an unfriendly tone. I didn't find her manner friendly. Of course, tips are expected after the meal. And the gummy bears there were so hard and old that I thought how children could eat such things

We really like visiting this restaurant, the buffet is great and the sushi there is especially delicious. For our daughter, the large selection of sweets at the buffet was a highlight. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating.

We had reserved a table for the “Easter Buffet” and were extremely disappointed. Instead of what you would expect from the name, there was a purely Chinese buffet. No rolls, eggs, cold cuts etc. as you would expect. The food is otherwise really okay there, I asked specifically about it 2 weeks ago and now this. We just left again, I can eat the buffet every day otherwise.

We love coming here as a family to eat. The employees are always friendly and never in a bad mood. The boss is also on site and helps out (a very friendly and nice woman and child just said she was super nice). Today the restaurant was very busy, the food was always fresh and was quickly refilled if something was empty. When it comes to sushi, the master always outdoes himself, it was never empty and if it was, another creation was quickly filled up (my favorite today was one filled with meat, the rice was rolled in sesame and coconut, and there was a drop of sauce with a slice of strawberry on top). Simply delicious. At the end, our child pounced on the fruit, which didn't leave any room for complaint (strawberries, honeydew melon, grapes, pineapple, oranges, etc. Everything was fresh and there were even grape skewers prepared. The fried food was also on point and fried perfectly. There is enough ice cream and there is something for every taste, our highlight here is the vanilla ice cream with warm chocolate sauce. When we went out we discovered the Naschibar and the boss gave our daughter three more pieces because her eyes were getting bigger and bigger. There were so many treats there, she decided quickly and even shared them with us at the door. We can only recommend the restaurant. We haven't had any bad experiences there recently, but the food here today was the best. We always like to come back as a family.

Restaurant with canteen charm: At the weekend there was a high noise level at the buffet for €23.90. UPDATE: €28.90 🤑 All meat dishes are stretched with tenderizers so that the meat has a very soft consistency. The duck and other products are frozen goods that are warmed up. The banana balls are also a ready-made product. Unfortunately, this place has nothing to do with Asian food culture. Quantity instead of class. No recommendation.

Buffet - Sunday lunch We have used the service many times and have not been disappointed! Many choices of dishes, cakes, ice cream, chocolate fountains and even a gummy bear buffet! Sushi and the grill buffet is really recommended, my No. 1. Staff is polite and courteous and the price is ok. I will come again!

Our regular restaurant for 5 years. Always delicious. Unfortunately, it's now completely exaggerated. I know everything is getting more expensive blah blah. But given the amount that is being implemented there, I think 2x buffet plus drinks with a total of around €70 - €75 is simply too fat.

The Phönix is ​​more geared toward buffets. We wanted to eat a la carte. There are just two vegetarian dishes. In general the menu is rather small. The fried vegetables were tasty, but for the price I actually wouldn't go there again. It was also relatively loud there. The service was very friendly.

Now the prices have risen - the weekday lunch menu costs 18.90 euros, and you have to order a drink. Price-performance ratio is not right. I didn't know you had to order a drink, but apparently it was on the door somewhere? If I had seen it, I wouldn't have gone in. And if you don't order a drink, you have to pay a seating fee of 5 euros. Beware of this absurd regulation! Additionally, the waiters are extremely rude. Your attitude is always arrogant. They are only busy criticizing the guests' mistakes. They scolded me for picking up gummy bears by hand, and when I picked up shrimp chips they gave me dirty looks. Your behavior is really problematic. When I raised these issues, I was asked if I was Chinese. What does that have to do with the situation? When I complained to management, all I was told was that I should eat somewhere else if it was too expensive for me. There was also no accommodation whatsoever when it came to the rude waiters - their response was basically: “So what the heck?” In my opinion this restaurant is no longer worth visiting both in terms of service and prices.

A great restaurant with a lot of choice, very nice staff and nice seating. And now they also have a hefty sushi buffet. But last time the floor where we sat was very sticky. That was a bit unnecessary.

New prices 26.50 without drinks for one person

Today I drove with my friends and family from Eutin to Lübeck to eat at Phönix. I have a gastric bypass which prevents me from eating more than a small child. When I asked the question whether there was a possibility that I could be charged as a child and presented my ID card for restaurants that I had an operation, it was immediately answered in the negative and I had to pay the full price. Unfortunately, my family and friends had to eat without me and I got a burger at McDonald's. It's a shame that there are still people who are so inhumane, I've never experienced that since my operation. From today on without us.

We went to lunch today Buffet there. The buffet seems to have shrunk slightly, but the food seems to be of a bit higher quality. There are now also mixed vegetable pans, without any breading, very tasty. Fresh vegetables with a bite are of course great, but some vegetables were very crunchy, the beans and cauliflower for example, that's fine not for everyone. Some dishes tasted well salted, but a bit too much of a good thing for our taste. We liked the duck meat better than the one Predecessor, there's a lot to it than just fat. The food was constantly replenished. We also think the lunch buffet is reasonably priced, we will come back.

We went there for dinner yesterday with our daughter and granddaughter. The restaurant has changed for the worse. It was particularly sad for our granddaughter, whose birthday was yesterday. We were thrilled after an unpleasant experience in another buffet restaurant that evening, so we decided to go here. We were very satisfied, everything was very consistent, very nice and attentive service, nice not so loud ambience, food was great too, this will be our new one Favorite Chinese, we spent a nice evening there.

We used to go there more often until the price no longer seemed justified due to the quality, which was constantly declining. Now today we gave it another chance and visited the lunch table. We were pleasantly surprised. More quality instead of quantity, although the selection is still more than plentiful. Something has changed fundamentally, especially when it comes to sushi. Large selection and very lovingly prepared, taste great! As a non-meat eater, I would have liked another tofu dish, but I was more than full. Conclusion: it's worth it again😊

We have been there again for a long time and have to say positively that a lot has changed! The sushi turned out excellent and if you visit spontaneously, you can pay on site with an EC card again. This saves you the extra fees for a cash payment at the gas station opposite.

Booked a table on Boxing Day, 5 p.m. When we arrived, we immediately noticed the small clay ashtray that was standing on the fence right in front of the restaurant. Completely overcrowded and tons of butts next to it, even though there were 3 large outdoor ashtrays in the hallway. I then put it out. Then to the buffet, and I thought I wasn't looking properly. Some dishes were already dried out because they were probably still there from the lunch buffet. Fries, chicken nuggets and chicken cold. The dishes were gradually replenished. Now we also had warm food. It was ok. Nevertheless, I find it strange when the buffet is no different than on other days and then it costs €5 more. €31.90 for partially cold food. What a shame!!

My regular restaurant for many years until I found metal from cans in pasta and meat. After discreet information, the managing director said that this was due to Corona and a shortage of skilled workers. Rarely have I heard such a bold argument. Off to the competition in Lübeck Schlütup!

Went to the Phoenix for the first time on Sunday evening and quite spontaneously. We had a nice spot on one of the round benches, which provided a bit more peace and quiet as there was a lot going on due to the attractive offerings. Contrary to what you would expect from the outside, the ambience is very pleasant for its size. Of course, restaurants of this type always have a bit of a warehouse feeling, but thanks to the divided ceilings and room dividers it doesn't seem unpleasant or impersonal. When it comes to dining there is an incredibly rich selection of salads, there is soup and of course many main courses. A lot of fried food, but also a lot of it prepared in other ways. There is also a grill station with various types of meat and fish, as well as vegetables, which are then freshly prepared. When it comes to desserts there is a selection of ice cream, cakes, fruit and something like jelly etc. The service was basically okay and very nice. Since we sat a little further away from the main course, service staff didn't come by too often, which meant that the children were sometimes left high and dry. However, it wasn't uncomfortably long. A highlight are of course the robots that (partially) deliver the food from the grill station. This is a look into the future and of course it was a huge highlight for the children :) The quality of the food is basically perfectly fine. Everything was fresh and warm enough without being too hot. It could have been a little warmer. One point of criticism is that some of the vegetables are still quite firm to the bite. The rest is certainly a matter of taste. All in all, a very pleasant evening and stay with a very fair price/performance ratio. We definitely weren't guests for the last time.

After the reopening: very tasty and HUGE SELECTION - simply delicious. There is still room for improvement when it comes to operation. But they are very friendly. So we'd love to come back

During our visit, it wasn't the first, we unfortunately noticed that the prices had gone up so high... The price-performance ratio is no longer right 🤨...we were definitely here for the last time

We've been here many times, but this time we were very disappointed. Unfortunately, a lot of the food was replaced. When I go out to eat in a restaurant like this, I don't necessarily need 4 variations made from potatoes such as croquettes, potato wedges, etc.. but rather something typical for the restaurant. Unique things like breaded cheese balls and much more are no longer there. Fried noodles with vegetables were turned into 2 trays, which means the selection is smaller again.. and as I said was replaced by potatoes for just under €27. The selection really wasn't the same as it was some time ago, unfortunately. Then we were charged our own tip. So I like to tip, but I still want to be able to decide when and how much.

There was a bit of variety at the evening buffet. Unfortunately, the delicious mango ice cream is no longer available.

Had dinner there with friends yesterday... Food was cold, meat was dry, little choice, service not attentive

I was there with my friends. The food was very fresh, tasty and varied. The sushi was very beautiful to look at and very delicious. They have a new sushi master and it shows. The staff was very nice and friendly. We had a wonderful evening and will be back.

The service is very good, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is ok. But I don't understand why a child aged 9 and over should pay the full price for the lunch buffet! At the evening buffet the price is reduced for children up to 12 years. Most parents would probably take their children to the lunch buffet. In my opinion this is price gouging! We are now looking for a new Chinese restaurant!

When I heard that the Phönix buffet restaurant was under new management, I went straight to dinner. I was very positively surprised. The food is delicious and the buffet looks very attractive. All dishes are very tasty and perfectly seasoned. The delicious sushi is worth highlighting. Kudos to the sushi master. The service was also very good. Very tasty and all dishes are hot. The absolute highlight is the personal waiter when you have something fresh fried for you. Be careful, he can meow. Addendum after 2 years, either the quality of the food has changed enormously or I was there on the wrong day for years. Simply incredibly tasty, especially the sushi is mega and has an incredible variety. The duck was super crispy, even the chicken wings were so delicious that I would come here just for them. I just hope it wasn't on that day (Monday) because there is a reduced offer on that day. Two weeks later, it is still outstanding and we would love to come back

Today I went to Phoenix China Restaurant for the first time. The food is very delicious and tasteful. The sushi in particular is not only delicious, but is also very creatively designed. The ingredients are fresh and the selection of dishes is extremely diverse. The service was also excellent, always friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant! 👍 great!

Unfortunately no longer recommended! Nothing is actually edible, dry, no selection, flies under the hoods when it comes to sushi. Never again!!!

The first thing I was greeted with was that payment was cash only. Then I was sent around the Rewe Center to find the Sparkasse ATM, unfortunately in vain. Then I had to drive to the nearest ATM. After I finally had my food (to take away) and got home, we were super disappointed. The pork was dry, had hardly any sauce and had no flavor. The soup wasn't what it used to be either. It was the last time in this store for us.

There is probably new management. The staff were exceptionally friendly, even though there was a huge crowd at 7pm on a Saturday. The buffet offers the usual warm dishes, and exotic meats were also available for the grill (kangaroo, rabbit, deer). There was fresh fruit for the chocolate fountain. The absolute highlight, not just for children, is the “cat” who brings the grill plates. The quality of the grilled food varied. The atmosphere corresponds to a large hotel, there are just a lot of places. Only cash payment was possible.

Unfortunately the selection has become significantly worse. No more fried scampi, the fluffy dumplings are no longer available, the pork is very gristly, the sushi is in its own broth, the ice cream containers have a large layer of water at the bottom from the constant cleaning water from the portioner and the fried noodles are only lightly fried. Even the fortune cookies were abolished. I'm really disappointed to have to lose so much of the previously preferred cuisine for the increased price of around 26 euros per person for the buffet. Too bad...

The food on site is ultimately delicious! What bothers me, however, is that they never announce on their website that they have closed. I wanted to go there for dinner with my family today, as it's my mother's birthday, but they are on company vacation. We looked on the website beforehand to see if they had anything there, but there was nothing there🤷🏽.
