Hello gourmet friends😀 I don't really like writing negative reviews, but here's our conclusion: First of all... I'm sorry, we won't be coming back here. Firstly, there were no instructions for new guests on how to prepare the raw dishes... There are small numbered clips at the table; these must be attached to the plate when preparing raw dishes. So take them from the table to the buffet in good time. Next, a second clip for the sauce of your choice is attached to the plate. Now the dish is brought to the table fried. If you forgot to season the raw ingredients before cooking, you're out of luck and will have to run through the store again. After this, my meat was already as tough as rubber. So, really great, and I'm not going to make a fuss. I had frog legs, kangaroo, zebra, and something else on my plate. And here's the problem: everything was already sorted on the plate, and after cooking, there's a pile of meat under the sauce. The only thing I could recognize was the frog, otherwise everything was a mess... The taste wasn't convincing either, and I'm really not a gourmet and open to anything... The 🐸 was also the tastiest thing for me that evening. My wife had squid and scampi... but it wasn't cooked on the first try; she had it fried again, and then it was OK, she said. I would have liked to have a look at the menu, but there isn't a menu, or we simply didn't get one. The employee then repeatedly said in broken German, "Dinner buffet... okay..." So we had the dinner buffet... Two people, so I left €65 there. There's a lot of choice and I'm sure you'll get enough food, so you'll be really full for the money. Drinks were free too. It's okay for the price; luckily I left the four children at home. Otherwise, it would have been very expensive. The interior and drink menus at the table were very worn. The cutlery I had to fetch myself wasn't clean twice... Feel free to try it out; mine wasn't. Don't forget your parking disc in the parking lot; fines are hefty here. Oh, and the food that the chef cooked was brought to the table by a robot. That was entertaining. Have fun!

Nice ambiance, the food was great, but the fact that Keller ignores you is really annoying. Plates are cleared very late, and the last ones aren't cleared at all. The waiter doesn't even look in our direction so we can be noticed. He prefers to sit with his back to the room and chat with his colleague. Keller ruined the whole experience for us. Bad service also drives away your guests, and good food doesn't help either. I think we'll be avoiding this place for the foreseeable future. It's a shame.

We were there and received a very unfriendly welcome. The food looked very old, as if it had been sitting for a long time. Compared to other buffet restaurants, the food here is always replenished quickly and on time. And there's something for every taste, from live cooking to sushi, ice cream, cake, etc., all extensive and very tasty. The plates of finished live cooking are brought by a robot, which even serenades guests on birthdays. With a flat rate for drinks, it's still a reasonable price at just over €30 during peak times. I always enjoy coming here. The staff is always very friendly.

We wanted to eat à la carte on a Saturday evening and were waiting to be assigned a table. Before we went to the table, I asked if we could eat à la carte. They said it wasn't possible on Saturday evenings (unfortunately, it wasn't stated anywhere), and we would have to come back during the week. I said we wouldn't. Before I could even explain why we wouldn't be coming back, someone pulled a face and made derogatory comments from other people waiting. Dear staff, sometimes guests come from out of town and want to eat spontaneously, and in that case, a drive of over an hour is just too far. We did find another restaurant, and we received very friendly service there.

All-you-can-eat at a good price, drinks were flat, and the staff was very friendly. Everything looked clean, the food was delicious, and there was a wide selection. While we were eating, the ladies' restroom was being renovated.

A very nice restaurant. The buffet selection is huge, and everything is delicious. Drinks are included in the price. The price/performance ratio is excellent. We always enjoy coming back.

We really enjoyed it. Excellent value for money. You can even book a meal that includes all drinks and help yourself to what you want from the refrigerators. I thought that was great! The waitresses were also very friendly and enthusiastic. A special highlight is that you can put together something from a variety of fresh ingredients and have it freshly prepared by a chef at a counter, and a robot then delivers it to your table. We'd definitely love to come back!

Ate the lunch buffet. Delicious and absolutely reasonable for the price, including drinks!

Extensive buffet. Large selection of fresh ingredients for the BBQ, plus a sushi buffet, a wide selection of salads and fruit, and a constantly changing selection of cakes, desserts, and ice cream. Drinks are included in the buffet, plus an extra €5 for a "wine flat rate." We've always been lucky that the food has been hot and fresh, and that the raw meat and fish have been well chilled. The service is friendly and very nice, even to children.

Perfect for the whole family. The highlight is the robot cat that serves the food. You can book an all-inclusive package, including all drinks. Perfect!

Unfortunately, we didn't have a chance to try the food, as we were greeted so unfriendly at the entrance that we decided to leave. I simply wanted to translate the menu for my Spanish friend so she could see if there was anything for her, but the lady showed no patience or understanding. When we asked for an English menu, we were simply yelled at. Luckily, we found something delicious to eat elsewhere where we actually felt welcome as guests.

Three months ago we already had the feeling things were different. The sweet and sour sauce had a very ketchup-like taste. The food wasn't hot enough. The fried noodles were blandly seasoned, etc. We wanted to give the restaurant another chance; after all, we've been really impressed over the past few years. But unfortunately, some of the food today was only lukewarm again. The duck wasn't refilled. Bland taste. The dark chocolate fountain wasn't working, which wasn't a problem, but I wouldn't leave it there with all the hard chocolate. The ice cream bar also looked a bit unhygienic. That was it... What a shame.

Update 5/25: We've been regulars for many years, sometimes even going there several times a month. There seems to have been a change of ownership. Since then, we haven't been satisfied. The quality of the food has declined, and some delicious items have been replaced. We now want to try another Asian restaurant—unfortunately! As always, very friendly service and delicious food.

So far average buffet restaurant. Just be careful of the rip-off parking lots... if you sit for longer than 90 minutes it costs 35 EUR. So never the restaurant again. Drive back to Bayerstr. to China Star. You can enjoy the buffet in peace.

We looked on Google for the times for the evening buffet, as they were up until 10:30 p.m., so we went there at 9 p.m. At the entrance it suddenly said: Evening buffet until 10 p.m. and a very large sign saying no card payment possible. We were then greeted relatively slowly at the entrance with the words: Buffet but only until 9:30 p.m. Since half an hour is enough to fill you up, we said we would like a table. When the phone rang we were brushed off with the words: find a table yourself. When we were at the buffet, I was a little disappointed, everything was quite empty (it was ok given the time) but really dried out. Then it was explained as we passed by that we had to get our own drinks. When I first filled up my plate I was told to please eat slowly!!!! Really... On the grounds that I can only eat a maximum of 3 plates and not 10. I thought I was in the wrong film. All You Can Eat = Max. 3 plates The food actually tasted good and we were full. Then they wanted to pay and no one was responsible anymore because all the employees, whether kitchen or service, were already running through the restaurant with their rubber gloves and cleaning buckets. Only when we were fully dressed and walking towards the counter did someone come. Then the question CARD??? It wasn't possible at the moment, oh well. Then the card was torn out of my husband's hand, put into the device by the staff and thrown onto the table so I could enter the pin. Last but not least, my husband was given his card and without saying goodbye he turned around and left. We have never been treated in such an impossible way and it was the last time there. While looking for a Chinese restaurant in the area that was also open on Mondays, we became aware of the Phönix in Neumünster. For 30.95 euros including a drinks flat rate, I thought the price was reasonable. I personally found the drinks flat rate to be very relaxing because you no longer have to worry about whether you order one or two additional drinks. The drinks were freely accessible and you could easily get them yourself. The restaurant was (well) attended on Monday evening, but by no means overcrowded. We were assigned a place straight away. Due to the size and the fact that there wasn't that much going on, it was also very relaxed at the buffet. Most of the food was freely accessible. No crowds at the buffet and a pleasant volume. The tables are far enough apart so that it is possible to have a normal conversation. In terms of selection, there was actually everything. The coated cheese tasted very tasty as did the bananas etc. In terms of taste and the consistency of one or two dishes compared to the Chinese where I usually go, I unfortunately have to deduct a point. Likewise for the service. The friendliness was great, the order was taken quickly and when we wanted to pay it was quick too... However, due to the fact that some of the food is brought by robots and the drinks have to be fetched yourself, I unfortunately have to deduct a point here. If I ever happen to be in the area again or really feel like eating Chinese on a Monday, I would go here again.

Unfortunately, the concept of the restaurant has been changed, drinks are now included in the price, so no more table service. You are just assigned a seat and the service person comes to pay. Unfortunately, this means that it has become considerably noisy and there is a hustle and bustle and unrest everywhere because everyone wants to go to the buffet and have drinks. Unfortunately we don't like that. We will now make sure that we generally choose less busy days. We don't want to miss the delicious food.

Had dinner there again this evening for a long time. Service was good. The All You Can Eat buffet with a wide selection. There is also something for small children. The ambience seemed quite cool since the restaurant is a “big hall”.

We picked up food for 4 people and were very satisfied. Large portion despite lunch and delicious soup and spring rolls included.

Food was delicious if it had been hot. It's a shame because the taste is great. The buffet was very plentiful and I think there was something for everyone. I found the cute robot to be a practical purchase.

Very large buffet, lots of choice, a bit "mass operation" although the service is very friendly. Food is very diverse (although one can certainly ask whether that has to be everything...). Tables in the back only have artificial light - therefore a bit sterile... Restaurant is in an industrial area - therefore plenty of nearby parking spaces, but little flair...

We have been regulars for many years, but things seem to have gone downhill since the change in ownership. Food dried out, large refrigerators at the buffet so that there can be a flat rate of drinks here too. Food no longer tastes as good as before. Only the fresh grill has remained the same. It's a shame...fewer people will come here. Update: We tried again and the quality of the food deteriorated again (including the freshly grilled ingredients) and ended up making at least 4 out of 7 people feel unwell, for whatever reason. The (presumably) new manager doesn't smile and speaks very sharply to his employees, who were so thinly staffed that they were already walking around the restaurant. I haven't experienced anything like this in the last 10 years, no matter how crowded it was. This seems to be about saving money at all costs. We're done with the restaurant for now, which is a real shame. It was a constant in Neumünster.

So far we only knew the Raisdorfer Phönix, since we were in NMS and wanted to eat something, we tried this Phönix too. He has some different dishes, but otherwise similar. Taste good too. Service very friendly. Unfortunately the atmosphere was very cold and the atmosphere in the station halls was very cold. The concept of a complete all-inclusive, i.e. with drinks in self-service form, is coming here soon. Very good.

The Phönix is ​​a good Chinese restaurant. The buffet is extensive and there is something suitable for everyone. From soup to sushi to various desserts, everyone will find something. A cute little robot even brings the meat you chose yourself that had to be fried first. The staff is very nice and accommodating. Plates are cleared very quickly so that no dirty dishes collect on the table. The only point of criticism for me is that some of the food is quite cold. So it's better to stir once and remove the food from the bottom. The toilets are also very clean and tidy, as is the entire restaurant. Clear recommendation from me. On weekends or public holidays, it is better to make a reservation.

We found a hair in fried chicken in our food, and there were dry, unwashed grains of rice stuck to the spoon. We asked the older waitress about it, but her response was simply: "Sorry, I can offer you a drink." We declined, paid and left the restaurant. We definitely won't eat there again.

Last week it was almost inedible, 1. more onions instead of meat 2. Very oily, 3. In a selected dish with chicken, isolated pieces of meat tasted as if they had already gone bad. Simply disgusting!!!!! The quality of the food has drastically decreased. It's just not worth leaving your hard-earned money here anymore. Here everyone simply saves money and customers are ripped off with high prices. If you don't tip, there's no friendly farewell...I definitely won't eat here again.

Back then I liked eating here. I was shocked by the price increase for "All you can eat". Plus 2 euros if I didn't want to drink anything. Back then there was still a schnapps or biscuit. We didn't have anything anymore unless it was your birthday. The duck consisted of a lot of fat for us or just the crispy one. and somehow a lot of things tasted too strongly of fat. Some of the signs were not clear either. I also didn't like the fried sushi anymore and looked indefinable to me. I was very disappointed. Back then, there was a kind of fountain for the ice cream dispenser to keep it hygienic. It wasn't on, I felt a little disgusted about reaching for the ice cream there. Generally very difficult to communicate. I didn't understand a word when they tried to explain to me that I had to pay an extra 2 euros if I didn't drink anything. She then walked with me to the sign. A little more friendliness and service would be great. Above all, smile!

Unfortunately, an unspeakable rip-off is taking place in their parking lot. You should point this out to every guest personally. 30 euros for overlooking a parking disc requirement is a pure rip-off, especially since you were a guest and could prove it. 30€ for not having a parking disc. There really is a hobbyless b... in the car and waits for someone to get out of the car to hand out tickets. I was told by friends to put a disc in and after less than 5 minutes I received a note.

The two of us spent at least an hour there. The drinks we initially ordered were empty after about 10 minutes and in the 50 minutes that followed, not once did a service person come to ask for more drinks. When we mentioned this when paying, no understanding was shown, but it was said that we should have contacted us.

I can highly recommend the restaurant. The buffet is very rich and varied. The service is friendly. The guest room doesn't seem particularly appealing at first because it is very large. The partitions then create a pleasant feeling and the noises of other guests can hardly be heard. I'll definitely come by again sometime.
