Pho Phan in Berlin

Pho vegan was decent. I have had better Pho. But the service and the atmosphere were pretty nice and cozy for the chilly weather. They only accept cash but there are several Geldautomaten closeby in case you fall short of cash.

Very tasty and decent portion. I've had enough. But my wife (Vietnamese) still makes the best Bun Bo Nam Bo I've ever eaten 😅 The restaurant is definitely recommended and also very busy, I had to wait a short time until a table became available

Annoying that there is no indication anywhere that this restaurant only accepts cash. When paying, you suddenly find out that you cannot pay by card. First it was said that this was only possible from 20 euros, then suddenly it was not possible at all, then supposedly the card reader was broken. Then we were “asked” to get money from the ATM (6 euro fee!). Only when it became clear that we had no payment options other than a card did the card reader suddenly work again, as if by a miracle. Great food, nice service but not good customer service!

As many have written here, I can also underline the lousy service. I used to come here regularly, but the latest incident has finally put me off. Orders have often been incorrectly implemented in the past. The current incident was the tip. I ordered duck to take away and received chicken. A few days later I wanted to clarify this with my next order and asked for the overpaid money to be deducted. Apparently it wasn't possible without the owner. So we went again days later. I thought it would clear up quickly, but no. They didn't believe me (despite the photo). All possible reasons were looked for, it's not chicken but fish, they don't prepare this chicken, I got it from another shop, etc. A crazy discussion and gaslighting at its best. In the end she didn't believe me, but reluctantly wanted to give me the €3 out of "good nature" (!). I declined this generous offer and will never go there again. Btw, admitting mistakes isn't a bad thing, but scaring away a regular guest out of spite/pride? Well, your bad luck!

This was a restaurant that I visited very often. Over time, both the quality of the food and the service have decreased, but the prices, on the contrary, have increased. Even though I ordered another starter, a soup was brought to me. The waiter didn't take the soup back even though I said I didn't want it. And even though I didn't eat them, they still charged me the price for them. Unfortunately, customer satisfaction is no longer important, which also makes me question the quality of the food. A business that focuses solely on profit will ultimately fail. It is very unfortunate that the quality has declined so much over time, even though it could have been a better restaurant.

As a tourist, we were a bit put off at first by the location right on the main street, but the food and the waiters here are great! Highly recommended, everything went very quickly. Can also particularly highlight the Vietnamese (iced) coffee, really great!

I have been visiting the restaurant on and off for several years and have been satisfied so far. Today I asked if I could just get the sweet potato fries without chicken from the children's meal for my daughter. This was possible. In the end I received the bill and had to pay 6.50 euros for a small plate of sweet potato fries. When I asked, she said that it was a larger portion than usual, which I assessed differently and communicated. Unfortunately, she didn't ask her boss what I would have expected in this case. Especially since I also got the wrong food twice. The food was again very tasty! But of course the price is way too high!

Please never visit this restaurant. Firstly, not all the ingredients of the dishes are indicated here, so you may encounter products to which you are allergic. If you ask the waiter to prepare a dish without certain ingredients that could harm you, you will be ignored. Should you ask for a change of dish due to this mistake, the manager will come out and yell at you because you can't eat what everyone else is eating. I have health problems and therefore asked to remove some ingredients from the soup. Now I'm going to the hospital. When I asked not to pay for the dish, the manager (or just the crazy cook) came out and yelled, “We made you and your girlfriend the same dishes!! Why don't you eat what your girlfriend ate! I'll call the police!!". I tried to explain that I should have a different order but I was ignored and when I asked not to be shouted at but to speak in a calm tone (like I did) the shouting got louder. If you don't want adventure, I recommend you never enter this restaurant...

Very disappointed! Please note that staff are not fulfilling their duties. My friend and I wanted to have Tom Kha Gai soup, but I warned her that it was quite spicy, so she asked the waiter if they could make it spicy for her, to which he immediately agreed. We brought our soups but they were spicy. It's fine for me, but my friend couldn't eat it, so she asked if she could exchange it for something else, but was refused. We were also approached by a woman who started shouting at us in the middle of the entire street in a very disrespectful manner, which was extremely unpleasant and strange. My friend visited this place and asked to put out some components of the dish, she is allergic to. Not only that stuff ignored it, but also when she asked to change the dish, they start to shout on her and threatened her to call the police. But she was that one who needed to do that, because they violated all customers rights

I usually like to go there, but recently I was surprised... I ordered number 40 from the menu, juicy meat with vegetables, but also with sweet potatoes and peanuts. The meat was actually good, but there were no sweet potatoes or peanuts in it. It would have been polite if they had pointed out to me that they no longer had sweet potatoes and peanuts, but unfortunately they didn't mention it and instead increased it with other (cheaper) vegetables. Or they made a mistake in the compilation. I'm not saying the food wasn't good, just that it wasn't exactly what was on the menu, even though it was the right dish. So it was unfortunately a bit disappointing last time. If I had noticed the lack of sweet potato and peanuts sooner, I would have returned the dish.

Extremely delicious food! The food (red curry with tofu) was very, very tasty. A customer request for noodles instead of rice was kindly taken into account. It took less than 10 minutes and the food was ready. Admittedly there wasn't much going on that Monday evening. The waiter was also very accommodating and nice.

The food was very good, especially the starters, including the sweet potato fries and the edamame, which are a must in my opinion. But the main courses also taste good, so definitely recommended. Die Einrichtung ist schicker und das Essen teurer geworden, leider nicht besser. Mir hat es früher besser geschmeckt und das Restaurant wurde mit mehr Herzblut geführt. Heute fühlt es sich eher wie eine fließbandartige Produktion an - mit preiswerten Zutaten für die Gäste etwas Sättigendes kochen und diese schnell und effizient bewirten. Schade, das Essen war früher um Längen besser, der Service ebenfalls.

Food is good, nothing special and not bad. I like that they now have distinct vegan options and I don't have to ask if they use fish sauce. Be careful if you order without peanut, my colleague did but still had them in the dish.

Me and my partner went to this Restaurant on Valentines Day. I forgot my purse at the place and the day after I could not find it at home. Everything was in it: money, my credit cards, ID. I totally forgot where I left it. Three Days later- on Saturday my doorbell rang and as we opened it was the Restaurant Manager who drove all the way to my place (the address was on my ID) to bring my purse back. I couldn’t believe my eyes. Everything was still in it. I wanted to offer him money for bringing my purse back but he did not want anything and went away. This person is such an honest and kind soul. Literally an Angel walking on Earth and an inspiration for being kind. I am so thankful and lucky for this. I hope only good things will find him and his Restaurant. If you go there leave a big tip. They deserve it. The Ambiente of the restaurant is also very beautiful and the food was fantastic. We will definitely go there again. The waiters and waitresses were very kind and warm as well. Thank you so much.

This restaurant is easily one of the best Vietnamese in the city, at least in this price range. Absolutely tasty dishes, also a good selection of vegetarian options. The Mi Wonton noodle soup is unbeatably delicious. You can also get good fresh drinks here, such as homemade seasonal lemonades or hot drinks. The Aperol Spritz is also good to drink. You can also go to the side at the corner of Hermannstr. sit quietly outside. You are very welcome with children. Try it out, it's worth it! Go!

Service and ambience good: attentive, quick and pleasant. Also the banana lassi and the soup as a starter. Unfortunately, the “Lemon Duck” dish was less successful. The meat was dry and hard, reminiscent of dried meat, and the sauce was too sweet. In retrospect, I didn't feel like I had eaten well and healthily...

Wiederholt kam es zu falschen Bestellungen, obwohl mehrfach ausdrücklich gesagt wurde, was wir bestellen wollen. Bestimmte Wünsche bzw Allergien werden nicht beachtet und bejaht, obwohl der Kellner nichts verstanden hat von dem was man eigentlich wollte. Am Telefon anrufen und etwas bestellen funktioniert nie, weil immer irgendwas falsch ist. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist unterirdisch. Das essen an sich ist gut aber die Betreiber kümmern sich nich um die Kundschaft und bemühen sich auch nicht diese zu verstehen.

Die vietnamesische Küche dieses Restaurants hat mich durch ihre Authentizität und die Verwendung frischer Zutaten beeindruckt. Die Vielfalt der Aromen – von süß bis umami – machte jedes Gericht zu einem Geschmackserlebnis. Die gesunde Ausrichtung mit viel Gemüse und Kräutern hat mir besonders gefallen. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam, was mein Essen zu einem rundum positiven Erlebnis machte. Die angenehme Atmosphäre rundete meinen Besuch ab. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und das Essen schmeckt gut.

Wir waren an einem Freitagabend dort essen. Ich fand es von der Lautstärke wirklich sehr sehr angenehm, nicht zu laut und auch angenehm besucht, nicht zu voll, ich hatte die vegane Pho, die, glaube ich, 9,50€ gekostet hat oder 9,80€ (?), auf jeden Fall hat mich die Portion leider nicht satt gemacht, viel zu wenige Nudeln, und zu wenig Inhalt, die Brühe an sich war sehr lecker, aber mir fehlten einfach leider mehr Nudeln und Tofu. Ansonsten wurde der Teller direkt abgeräumt, als man gerade so fertig war, das hat für mich immer so "Rausschmeißer-Vibes", aber vielleicht finden das andere wiederum angenehm? Wenn die Portion größer gewesen wäre, dann würde ich auf jeden Fall mit dem Gedanken spielen wiederzukommen :)

I have tried the pho and vorspeisen. It’s a very simplistic pho( all ingridients inside ) , that taste good, and provides you with satisfying feeling.the broth feels good and well prepared .

Nach dem Beispiel vietnamesische Garküchen ist das Restaurant für den Schnelldurchlauf ausgelegt. Das Ambiente ist mit dem Holz und den künstlichen Pflanzen zwar ein angenehmer Anblick, die Möbel laden jedoch nicht zum längeren Verweilen ein. Das Essen ist frisch zubereitet und größtenteils lecker, ebenso die Getränke. Auch wenn ich manche Zutaten in den Gerichten so nicht kannte (Warum war überall Ananas drin???). Die Preise sind in Ordnung, allerdings kann man nur Bar bezahlen.

Gemütliches kleines vietnamesisches Restaurant. Gemütliches und ästhetisches Ambiente, nette und zuvorkommende Bedienung, leckeres Essen mit ausreichend großen Portionen zu akzeptablen Preisen. Der Innenbereich ist ruhig, der Außenbereich, durch die Hauptstraße vor der Tür, sehr belebt. Kostenlose Parkplätze sind durchaus vorhanden, aber Glückssache; die Nähe zum ÖPNV ist erfolgversprechender.

We usually grab a dinner here, the portions are very big, the prices are reasonable, staff is always friendly and helpful. I always order mango or red curry with chicken and every time it’s simply amazing.
