The food has decreased significantly since Binh dropped it off. Unfortunately. I was there again recently and the food was good but not comparable to that of the old owners

I can't judge what the restaurant looks like since I only ordered the food, but I haven't had such delicious udon noodles in a long time and the vegan duck was also super tasty. The supplier arrived much quicker than originally announced and was also really nice, I couldn't have wished for more.

So-so. I have had different experiences here. A year ago the food here was incredibly delicious. According to the other reviews, the operator has probably changed. What I can recommend is to take sushi and summer rolls from the counter in the summer. What I don't think is cool is that when you pay, whether before or after your meal, you have to indicate on the card reader how much tip you want to give and people look reserved if you don't give anything. Recently, when I was ordering and eating on site, I was asked several times if I would like to have a sesame ball with it, I said no. Then they even brought it to my table and tried to offer it again, which I found extremely unpleasant and had to refuse several times until the waitress relaxed. Afterwards she put on a noticeably offended face when paying and didn't say goodbye. I'll probably only get takeaway here now and then.

What a wonderful transformation of this Vietnamese bistro under the new management! The restaurant’s atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Our server took time to explain different dishes and made excellent recommendations. The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of food served. This is now my go-to spot for Vietnamese cuisine in the area. Highly recommend trying their pho and spring rolls. Will definitely be returning / ordering soon! 😊

Very tasty Vietnamese dishes. Authentic, something for everyone and super nice staff. Questions will be answered gladly and anyone who has never had Vietnamese food will receive good advice. Big recommendation: sticky rice balls (sesame balls) and the mango lassi. Always happy (:

The four of us ordered bubble tea, they said there wasn't any, only when we asked again was bubble tea suddenly available. There used to be real tea and different types of bubbles, today there is a bubble type, tea that only tastes like water and in total there were no more than 7 bubbles, for €1 more than before.

It used to be a friendly little shop where you never knew where you were and whether there was food available or not, but that and the couple who run it have made the shop a kind of neighborhood pearl. Now under new management, the takeaway classics (various rolls in rice paper and rice rolls, especially in vegan combinations) have been retained and some Vietnamese dishes have been added. What is particularly positive is how nicely you are treated in the store and that they try to fulfill special requests. The food is solid and authentic, but still lacks consistency. That means: you don't necessarily get the same taste every time, which is quite common in new shops with changing chefs. This time we had Bun Cha and spring rolls. The meat was deliciously marinated and the spring rolls were homemade and great. However, a lot of things were a little salty. Especially the sweet and sour fish sauce mixture that is traditionally served with it was too salty for my taste, but that was different before. So I would definitely still go there again and that had less of an impact on the stars. What always bothers me a bit is the salad mix, which clearly lacks herbs - so it mainly consists of iceberg and carrot strips or ruccola. However, this is the case in the majority of Vietnamese shops in Leipzig and is probably related to the costs. What is positive here, however, is the addition of the carrot and kohlrabi pieces marinated in the sauce, which will hopefully be retained 😅 Conclusion: You can do it and it's tasty enough. If you like perfection you would have to make the journey to the DongXuan Center.

Food supposedly sent to the wrong person, but you can't name it exactly. We should wait another half hour. However, do you know which order it is?! Why can't you contact the supplier then? Reject new delivery. Stories seem constructed. No food after 2 hours. Service has deteriorated rapidly.

New operators, new furniture, but the food now lacks taste. Clothes make the man, color but not a restaurant. It's a shame, I used to enjoy being here often.

I've been to Pho Binh a few times now. Since the renovation it has taken on a different charm, which I really like. However, it is often the case that there can be long waiting times, especially around 6 p.m. Which isn't a bad thing for me, as the pho there tastes really delicious and the vegetarian version actually has a vegetarian broth than other pho shops. Overall, I would put up with these waiting times and recommend Pho Binh.

The food was very gloomy. I had a flat rice noodle salad. It only consisted of pasta and leaf salad. The noodles were soft and the salad was like a rag that had long since been thrown away.

I would absolutely avoid the restaurant for the following reason. The restaurant has flyers distributed throughout Südvorstadt and Connewitz. The flyers are stuck behind the car door handles, and it is simply accepted that the paint will be damaged as a result. The worse thing is the environmental pollution, the flyers that just fly through the streets or lie on the sidewalk.

Soggy food - 11 euros for soggy noodles with tofu that tastes absolutely nothing like duck. Absolutely not recommended.

Very tasty Vietnamese food. For a few months now with new, very warm and friendly owners. My favorites are the summer rolls - the dip is really tasty, but not a peanut sauce in my opinion - the peanut curry with rice and chicken is also great, although last time the sauce was unfortunately a bit thin, the black sticky rice with coconut - Sauce for dessert is awesome, but unfortunately there wasn't enough coconut sauce this time. Also recommended is the mango salad and pho 👍🏼

We ordered 2 bánh mì to pick up and they were both fantastic. The baguette was crunchy and richly topped and overall authentic. I can recommend…

Re-opening two months ago - new operators! A small, fine restaurant with delicious, authentic dishes from Vietnam. 💚 You feel like you're on vacation from the first bite to the last. The service is friendly and accommodating. The menu is very diverse, there is something for everyone. Especially in this day and age, affordable value for money for so much freshness and quality. Be sure to try the homemade ginger mango lemonade and the mango lassi 💛

Very good restaurant with many vegetarian dishes (almost all dishes can be ordered with tofu, tempeh or saitan). There is self-service there, but this does not change the great price-performance ratio. Clear recommendation

The chef was extremely rude. I was trying to order some extra food because I was still hungry and instead of listening and trying to understand what I was saying he just went to clean up the table (I didn’t even finish my meal) Some other clients helped me to communicate better with him in German. And then he’s answer was that he didn’t have eggs nor shrimps to cook. On our way out we saw him cooking eggs…Really bad. I spent 20€ to stay hungry and be treated rudely.

So Phô-king bad. Very rude and aggressive chef. If you ask for something that he doesn't want to cook he will just try to decide for you what you should eat or say that he doesn't have the ingredients.

Beste Pho in Leipzig! Sehr freundliches und familieäres Umfeld. Die Sommerrollen sind auch ein Genuss.

Habs letztens nach vielen Jahren hier in Leipzig zum ersten Mal richtig entdeckt und war ganz von den Socken, dass es hier zB. 3 Summer Rolls mit Tempeh um 4€ gibt oder zehn Stück Avocado Sushi um unschlagbare 3 Euronen 😱😃😍 Sehr freundliche InhaberInnen außerdem 👍 Die auf Google angegebenen Öffnungszeiten sind aber nicht aktuell (öffnet erst gegen Abend?).

Essen ist gut, zum Teil fehlt Gewürz oder was Grünes zwischendrin. Immer lange Wartezeiten (am besten vorbestellen ;)

Kleiner Geheimtipp für Veganer. Sehr zu empfehlen, gut, günstig und zentral gelegen! Super nette Eigentümer. Nur ein Manko: zu wenig Gemüse :-( Mehr Karotte, mehr Lauch, Kohl, Sprossen etc., dann wäre es echt perfekt!
