Kirigami in Leipzig

I had a really fantastic experience here tonight. Vegetarian or with meat, it doesn't matter. Starters, main courses, desserts, everything was really, really good. The service was attentive, polite and very friendly. The atmosphere could be a little cozier in my opinion. Even though I really celebrate the little anime elements in the restaurant. All in all a great experience.

Greeted at the entrance and absolutely friendly service 10/10, the atmosphere of the place was authentic as it can be even till the last detail such as the beautiful acquired Japanese lamps. The food wow even consistency, balanced flavour and soft meat. I tried the Tonkatsu with extra garlic (recommended by another review). The food came unbelievable fast, (my lucky day) . Had a conversation with the manager and the servers always checked to ask how the food was, amazing service and amazing food. Has to be the best ramen place in Leizpig so far .

Beautiful shop, very nice staff and delicious food! I ordered the udon with tempura vegetables and was completely blown away. Good quality, definitely worth it but I would reserve a table next time. The gyoza are also highly recommended!! 10/10 Keep it up!

We had hoped for more from the many positive reviews. Unfortunately, the broth of the ramen was very weak and it didn't taste authentic. We also ate the appetizers, gyoza and yakitori skewers, much better in Leipzig. The meat on the skewers was dry. What was positive was the ambience and the service. The restaurant was lovingly decorated. Overall, we can't recommend it more.

Excellent dishes that arrived quickly despite the restaurant being quite full, very friendly service, the prices are okay, not too crazy. We would love to come back!

You can also eat excellent ramen here in Leipzig. The Tonkotsu ramen is particularly recommended.

We had the tonkotsu ramen deluxe and the broth and meat were delicious. Unfortunately we didn't like the noodles that much, but that makes the ramen cheaper in comparison. The takoyaki and gyoza were also bomb. The matcha tiramisu was a treat. Something went wrong for one of us while eating, but he didn't have to pay and we were given free dessert as a replacement.

We ate our first ramen in this restaurant. It was tasty, although nothing special. Drinks were tasty, service was very friendly and familiar. The restaurant is small, with great attention to detail. I really liked it, even if ramen isn't my favorite food.

The kitchen was already closed 15 minutes before closing time. Pointless This time everything worked out. Food was excellent.

Went here for the first time yesterday and loved it. The food was very delicious and the service was great. The only thing that was a bit stupid was that we were told that no reservations would be accepted during the book fair, but numerous tables were still reserved in the restaurant. We were compensated for this with food. We will definitely come back the next time we visit Leipzig.

Everything is okay but the dessert, three mochi for €5.20, is outrageous. They come straight from the Asian supermarket for €2 for six pieces

Best ramen I've eaten so far! I had Shoyu Ramen and the Purple Lychee drink, which was also very very tasty. Only recommended! 😋 Update 2024: I've tried a few ramen restaurants now, but Kirigami remains at number 1! 🥰

I ordered tan tan ramen, zero taste, meat 2-3 grams of cheapest minced meat, zero salt, zero nuttiness. I paid 10 euros for pasta with broth. Not recommend, no sense to order and eat there..

Very nice restaurant and busy. However, I found a hair in my tempura ramen which ruined my experience 👎👎 Away from the crowd, I told the waitress about the hair so that we wouldn’t make a scene and she was grateful. The dish was half eaten and she offered me a new dish but I had already lost my appetite 😔 She came back saying sorry and gave me a dessert only and I still had to pay for the food. In my honest opinion, if she didn’t want to give me a free meal, she could’ve given me a better offer like a free beer that I had. Instead she only offered a free dessert which consisted of 3 small rice balls. Not well compensated. Oh well, I will reconsider returning 🤷‍♂️

Food and drinks were ok. Strangely enough, our table was booked too many times that evening and we felt like we were thrown out when it came to dessert. We were harassed a total of 3 times within 5 minutes to please leave the table even though we had barely been there for 75 minutes. Absolute impudence!

The most delicious ramen I had in Germany... This can be sold as is in Korea or Japan. It's a bit far from the center of the city, but it's worth walking to get something to eat.

Encouraged by the positive reviews we already had, we reserved a table straight away (which is better done on the weekend) and were really excited. Both the starter and the main course were simply brilliant. Absolutely recommended.

We were there on a Saturday evening to try Japanese food in Leipzig and can say that it was very worth it. The food is very tasty, even much better than several ramen restaurants in Düsseldorf. The service is also super friendly and the price is just very pleasant. Always happy to come back if we were in Leipzig again.

The three of us showed up here on a Saturday at around 6 p.m. and got a place without any problems. We were welcomed very friendly. The food was really delicious, from the starters to the dessert. Some dishes can be veganized. The homemade raspberry lemonade was also super delicious. Highly recommended if you want to eat delicious ramen.

The experience was simply amazing. Starting with the starters, the food was so delicious that I forgot to take a photo - a true testament to the quality of the food. However, what really stood out was the broth of the ramen noodle soup. There are simply no words that can fairly describe this culinary experience. It was hands down the best ramen soup I've ever had in Germany. The flavors were perfectly balanced, rich and deep. Every bite was a delight and I can't wait to come back and try more of their amazing menu.

Bester Ramenladen in der Stadt 🧡 Mal aus der Sicht eines nicht tieressenden Menschen, gibts dort das beste vegane Ramen 🍜 ich gehe jedes Mal so gern dort Essen. Das Personal ist auch total freundlich und man kann sich nur wohlfühlen. Das Ambiente macht es zudem auch noch sehr angenehm, wie als wäre man selbst in Japan.

Trotz fehlender Reservierung, haben wir innerhalb von 5 Minuten einen Tisch bekommen. Hervorragende Speisenangebot. Sehr angenehmes japanisches Ambiente mit lustigen Details. Vorspeise und Hauptgang waren ausgezeichnet und schnell serviert. Gerne wieder, erster Besuch, direkt als Favorit markiert.

Es gab durchweg sehr leckere Speisen. Die Gyoza, die nicht-vegetarischen und vegetarischen Ramen, sowie die Goma Dango als Nachspeise schmeckten fantastisch! Der Service war auch sehr gut. Preis-Leistung echt unschlagbar, wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Ruhiger Ort, mit Parkmöglichkeiten vor dem Lokal und der Möglichkeit draußen zu speisen. Viel Auswahl zu humanen Preisen. Ramen sind wirklich Top, hier schmeckt man die Qualität. Located outside the ”old city walls” this place is most definetely not a tourist trap. Also, it is placed alone in a corner of Chopin Strasse. Not another restaurant in sight. Fusion between japanese/korean and vietnamese and solidly good food. A nice rest from the pretty robust German kitchen is an understatement. Very good and friendly service at prices you can easily live with.

- Sehr freundliches Personal - Das Essen schmeckteausgezeichnet. - Man kann gut innerhalb von 15 Minuten zu Fuß vom Hbf/von Innenstadt das Lokal erreichen. - Zu zweit Personen haben wir für 2 Vorspeisen, 2 Ramen, 1 Nachspeise und 2 japanisches Bier 47€ inkl. Trinkgeld bezahlt. Der Preis ist für die Qualität die wir bekommen gerechtfertigt. Wir würden bei der nächsten Reise nach Leipzig geen wiederkommen.
