Pho 45 Erfurt in Erfurt

For a long time, this was my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Erfurt! Your udon noodles with creamy curry and crunchy tofu were my absolute favorite dish for ages – the curry sauce was simply amazing, I've never had anything like it anywhere else!! Unfortunately, I've noticed that you've been using less and less sauce on the noodles lately, which makes the dish completely dry. That's why I'm deducting a star. Please don't skimp on the sauce!!! It would be better to raise the price by €1-2, but please, please don't skimp on the sauce! 🥹

I have eaten at many Vietnamese restaurants in my lifetime all across the world but I can safely say these were the best summer rolls I’ve ever tried. Not only were they generously sized, they were also extremely tasty with the right balance of mint, and a healthy number of prawns and lettuce. I have included a photo of just half of the roll as I devoured the first half. I did also get a chicken pho which I didn’t take a picture of but that was very lovely and filling. They accommodated my desire for spice by bringing some peppers on the side and a very lovely unsweetened doughnut. The iced coffee was a small portion, but very tasty as I watched it percolate before my eyes. The level of sweetness is something is often hit or miss, but they managed to anticipate the perfect amount of condensed milk. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and would come back again. Just a note, the chairs don’t have backs on them, which is generally not my preference for a restaurant, but I was so hungry and the trams pass right in front of the establishment.

The restaurant is nicely decorated, the music wasn't too loud, but it was freezing cold. There's no heating, just an electric space heater, which the staff were constantly standing by. Not a cozy place to sit and warm up in November. The table was sticky and hadn't been wiped clean. The food was okay, and the portion was large. However, the salad served with the fried noodles was completely undressed. The sweet and sour sauce was incredibly sour and I didn't like it at all. The fried noodles were already cold, even though we were almost the only ones in the restaurant. At least the lemonade was tasty and the waiter was friendly. But all in all, we won't be coming back. You can find better options for the price. P.S. For moms: there's no changing table in the restroom.

You can tell that the food is cooked with love. The service was very friendly and attentive, and the location right in the heart of the old town is simply perfect – cozy and stylish. We used to order from there all the time. Today, the food arrived 30 minutes late for no apparent reason. Instead of the chicken we ordered, we received three different dishes that were completely tough and chewy. Inedible. What a waste of food and money. We won't be ordering from them again. What a shame.

The food was delicious, and despite our spontaneous visit, we managed to get a table. Reservations are highly recommended, especially on weekends. The selection and quality of the food are outstanding.

Best Asian restaurant I've ever been to. Pho is a 10/10.

We had reserved a table for 7:30 pm. After waiting 10 minutes in the entrance area to be seated, we were then sent upstairs and asked to give our table number to a colleague. Here, too, we had to wait until we were seen. After finally reaching our table 20 minutes later and receiving our menus, we were asked to get up and move to another table. The service was unfortunately unsatisfactory. We had to wait a long time for our order to be taken, and we ordered drinks and food together. We ended up eating without drinks, as they only arrived after we had pointed out twice that they were missing, and then only after we had finished our meal. The food was very tasty, but the salad was unfortunately undressed. Even the good food couldn't save the evening.

Without a reservation, we were politely shown upstairs, but when we asked for a slightly larger table, this was refused… even though EVERYTHING was empty and remained empty 🤷‍♀️. Okay, no problem, so we sat at a table for two… and unfortunately, we witnessed something… which was… well, rather unappetizing… First of all, I want to say that we only ordered appetizers, and they all tasted good… however, during our visit, 5—!)—employees from the kitchen went to the guest restroom. ALL of them wore tight-fitting disposable gloves, and ALL of them still had the gloves on after leaving the restroom… for those familiar with the premises, we didn't hear the water running in the sink even once! The thought, the very idea, made us shudder, and we didn't order dessert!

I was thrilled with my visit! The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned – you can immediately tell that it's cooked with love. I especially recommend the [insert dish, e.g., "Pho Soup" or "Sushi Rolls"]. The portions are also generous, and the value for money is excellent. The staff was very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere is cozy and authentic, making you feel right at home. A fantastic restaurant that I would definitely recommend and will gladly visit again!

Very nice restaurant, we enjoyed the food

It doesn't taste like original Vietnamese cuisine. All the dishes come with black sauce. The difference is that it's spicy with chili, and not spicy without chili. But it's so ridiculous that all the dishes come with the same sauce. I've never experienced anything like this in an Asian restaurant before. So I'll never come back.

It's always great there. We've been there several times. The food always came very quickly. You can be out in under 40 minutes if you're in a hurry. But at no point did we feel like we had to leave. The food was always delicious. The lemonades are highly recommended. Even though it doesn't look like it at first glance, the place is quite large, with a second floor. So if you're planning on making a reservation as a larger group, you should be able to find what you're looking for. There are vegan options, card payments, and restrooms. The seating is more like stools than chairs. However, for those who can't sit without a backrest for long, a chair can definitely be arranged. We recommend it.

We stopped by spontaneously when the restaurant reopened and were pleasantly surprised. The food is super fresh, there's a wide selection of dishes, and the service is friendly and helpful.

Cute little shop, and you could tell right away that they're very authentic. I had rice noodles with tofu, and even though I'm always skeptical about tofu, I really liked it and it was so delicious! Definitely recommended.

Very nice Asian restaurant. I had dumplings and summer rolls and can highly recommend it. Everything was very tasty and fresh. The ambiance is very pleasant, with a calm atmosphere and a beautiful restaurant design. We went without a reservation (two people) and were seated right away without having to wait. The food didn't take long either and arrived very quickly. Definitely worth a visit!

This is the second time I've gotten food poisoning, from two different dishes. The first time, I thought it was caused by something else, but now, the second time, I'm sure it was the same thing the first time. I'd rather not give it a star.

Food: 3/5 because it was beautifully presented, but overall it was very bland. The salad wasn't dressed at all and tasted of nothing. The dim sum with dark sauce also had very little flavor of its own. The service was friendly and attentive. Ambience: quite nice upstairs, less cozy downstairs.

We went there spontaneously to eat, and we were free to choose where we wanted to sit. Otherwise, please always make a reservation in the evenings. Lovely atmosphere, friendly service, everything freshly prepared. Tastes incredibly good and plentiful. I highly recommend it. We'll be happy to come back. Highly recommended. Delicious food, reasonable price🤭 can eat forever

My absolute favorite restaurant in Erfurt. The food is so delicious, and the service is always friendly and attentive. I highly recommend it. If you want traditional Vietnamese food, this is the place to go.

Very tasty, great service all Vietnamese traditional dishes

Krämerbrückenfest Sunday, 4:30 p.m. The starter (a soup) arrived after 10 minutes and tasted somewhat "stretched." As if it had been diluted with water and then thickened again. Even after adding salt twice, there wasn't much flavor other than spiciness. The main course arrived about 7 minutes after the starter was served. I hadn't even finished half of the starter because it was so hot. So I hastily spooned in the starter to prevent the main course from cooling down any further. Two of the five ingredients in the main course were missing (mango and pickled root vegetables). The salad was completely without dressing. A hand-sized leaf of Lollo Rosso without dressing isn't so great that I needed it. Salt was missing again. My drink (Saigon beer 0.33l for €5.40) was cold, and the service was friendly. But that didn't make up for it. I didn't tip, which I usually do. There were only seven other guests in the restaurant. It was simply nothing. Really poor.

I ate at this restaurant today. And it didn't disappoint: delicious spring rolls and superb mango lemonade. There was a hair on one of our spring rolls, but the waitress gave us two new spring rolls and a mochi ice cream! Best place in Erfurt

The food is always delicious, and the best crunchy tofu I've found in the city so far. One suggestion: consider chairs with backrests at the bottom, not just at the top, if the restaurant doesn't open until later. The older generation would appreciate it ;)

Das Personal ist sehr nett und das Essen war gut , hat uns aber nicht vom Hocker gerissen. Nach unserer Meinung ist die Salatbeilage sehr trocken und hat keinerlei Dressing. Der Reis war total fest und nicht schmackhaft. Wir würden das Pho 45 nur bedingt weiterempfehlen. Danke für das nette Personal.

Super delicious Vietnamese food in Erfurt. If, like us, you don't eat meat and therefore want to avoid the meat tubes that are offered everywhere, then this is a very good choice! Wit had soups, pho, mushroom dumplings, "tapas" and the sodas. The latter were extremely sweet, but also delicious. Everything, whether noodles, glass noodles, udon or rice. Gladly again. We'll definitely come back sometime.

The waitress was very unfriendly and insulted us in Vietnamese. And we weren't allowed to choose seats even though the store was empty. There wasn't even a reservation! And the waitress was very bitchy. The food was overpriced and not even tasty! Never again! Wouldn't recommend it to anyone either!

Disappointing experience – Not recommended Unfortunately my visit to this restaurant was a disappointment. The food arrived with a delay so that not everyone at the table could eat at the same time. I also ordered my dish well done, but it was served medium rare. When I raised this, I was treated rudely by the waitress instead of having the issue resolved. The service overall was rude and unhelpful. For these prices I would have expected a lot more - both in terms of the food and the service. I definitely won't eat here again.

I can warmly recommend this restaurant. Anyone who would like to eat Asian food is in good hands here. The food selection is plentiful. Everything is freshly prepared and served nicely presented. The restaurant looks very clean and comfortably furnished in Asian style. Good except for the chairs, which remind me of a farm. Others could have been used, but the great food and service quickly make me forget that. If you don't have cash with you, you can also pay with EC. A big compliment to the staff and the chef. As I said, it tasted delicious and I'll stop by and eat and drink something when it's on the way.

Wonderful good day everyone, I've been here several times now. A few times for lunch and a few times for dinner. Always had a good time with good service and good food. It's just not that cheap if you take a drink and an appetizer. You can get 20€ together so quickly. But if you only go once or twice a year, you can treat yourself. Clearly recommended.

The service was friendly and the atmosphere was nice. The starter was ok and the portion was good. But then came the main course. Unfortunately, both main courses didn't really correspond to the description and were not edible for us. It tasted very inauthentic and artificial. The people who work there were friendly. Unfortunately the food wasn't that good. The Pho was rather tasteless. For a dish with vegetables, there were a few scattered pieces of vegetables, but not really many. Overall, it looked dingy: the menus had real greasy films on them and the toilets weren't clean and there were already thick layers of dust.

The food was really very tasty. Great presentation of the food and the portion was absolutely sufficient. The service seemed a bit uncoordinated. We had to wait a short while until the table was cleared of guests who had already left, even though we would have already sat down there. Otherwise the service was really good. Friendly and quick. The empty drink crates stacked high next to the bar spoiled the ambience a bit. Nevertheless, a well-kept and modern dining room.

The staff service does not respect the food, so a bowl of beef noodle soup is 4 pieces of beef with small noodles and water.

Two of us with a baby ate at Pho45 and we didn't like the service. We were assigned to the front of the counter and the stroller was in the middle of the aisle. We actually wanted to sit somewhere else to breastfeed, but apparently that wasn't possible. We still enjoyed the food.

My dish fine. Large portion with plenty of chicken and vegetables. My wife's was a lot less. She would get noodles with chicken and vegetables. She got the world's worth of noodles, there were (almost) no vegetables in them and we doubted whether the chicken was chicken because the structure and taste were very similar to duck. Drinks were good.

Hier herrscht immer Hochbetrieb, etwas besinnlicher ist es im Obergeschoss. Die Speisen und Getränke sind lecker. Die Bedienung ist flott unterwegs. Echt empfehlenswert.

Beef with noodles, ordered medium hot. Get cold noodle soup with some beef. A hospital meal is more seasoned. Extremely uncomfortable, we sat about 25 cm away from the neighboring table.

Temple Mix is a great starter for 2 people but the peanut sauce isn't what it should be. It has gotten better though. Winter Suppe is still the go to dish for me, though I ask for extra lime and chili's to give it even more flavor. Otherwise, their 'Pho Soups' are a very good choice and healthy. Pho 45 is a solid choice for something other than the proverbial Thüringen Bratwurst, Rindroullade, Klose and other regional restaurants.

It's definitely worth making a reservation. Food was great and the service was also great. Can definitely be recommended.
