Fourteen of us went there for Mother's Day, our first time, and we were thrilled. The food was delicious, and the service was friendly, courteous, and prompt. We highly recommend the restaurant.

We had dinner here for Mother's Day. The portions were generous for us. Parking wasn't a problem either. We sat outside but were impressed by the interior decor when we used the restroom. But the absolute highlight, in my opinion, was the friendly Italian waiter. We'd be happy to go again.

There were 14 of us there for Mother's Day. We booked 2 weeks in advance but no problem. The weather was great and although there was a table set aside for us in the restaurant, we were able to get a shady spot outside. Service was friendly, funny and accommodating. Food was very tasty and value for money was very good. We were thrilled and thank you very much for everything.

Simply great!! From the reservation (reserved online in the evening and already received the confirmation in the morning) to the hospitality (the entire staff was very friendly, courteous and attentive, the food was very good - in terms of taste as well as the portion and the price - quick preparation, fresh and attractively prepared) to the farewell (schnapps/liqueur for adults as well as gummy bears for the children and the presence of the waitress behind the counter) it was a great stay. Our stay only lasted an hour, but I can imagine spending longer here with my family next time. Here, every single person has understood how to make the guest feel welcome. (Attention - threat ;-)) We (2 children and 4 adults) felt completely at home and will now come here more often!!!! Best regards Reinhardt family

We had to postpone our reservation several times, but that wasn't a problem either :) Taking dogs wasn't a problem either 👍 The only drawback was that we had to wait a really long time for food. Certainly 20 minutes until the order was taken and then another good hour for the pancakes. But I can't say whether that's always the case. We will definitely come back again :)

Went there again after years and was pleasantly surprised again yesterday. The pancakes are super delicious. The selection is huge and it's really difficult to decide. The highlight were the gluten-free pancakes. Sohnemann was really excited and can't wait to come back here. We can easily recommend the pancake mill. Also for people with diagnosed celiac disease and lactose intolerance

We reserved a table for 6 people on a Saturday. Friendly service but without the necessary overview of which guests it was their turn to order and when. Because it was very busy in the restaurant, there were longer waiting times for drinks and food. Unfortunately, most of our food was lukewarm and cold. Food was reheated, which resulted in the pancakes being rubbery. Unfortunately we won't be going there on a weekend.

My husband booked a table here for Valentine's Day. Since we had already eaten pancakes somewhere else and absolutely loved them, we were really looking forward to the visit. When we arrived we were shown upstairs to the table. Very cozy, which we really liked. A few minutes after we sat at the table, the drinks order was taken and the food too. We both chose an appetizer. The drinks took a while (about 15 minutes) to arrive. Little by little more customers came. After the drinks, the starter took a good 30 minutes to arrive (a small salad with 3 Camembert donuts and a little bread with aioli). At the next table we were already aware of the long wait because the couple had brought a dice game with them. Would have been a good idea, because we don't know how to wait that long in a restaurant. From the starter, when we were finished, to the main course, it took another good 30 minutes (we had been there for over 1.5 hours by then). We chose the offer of the week and were very disappointed. A pancake with a patty in it, tomato, lettuce, onions in a sauce, which unfortunately was fried for too long for me because it was quite tough. The patty was supposed to be from wild boar, but somehow it didn't taste good at all. I've roasted and grilled wild boar myself. That tasted completely different. The service could also have been better. No matter where you eat, when the waitress comes over, they ask if everything is OK and check on the drinks. If empty you will be asked if you would like anything else. Here? None. The glasses stood empty at the edge of the table. It took a while for the waitress to become aware of us because, in addition to accepting the order and making payment, she also wanted to bring drinks to the wrong tables. There was also an audible “grim” because customers didn’t leave a tip. I'm sorry, but anyone who serves like that should be lucky if they even get a tip. There were others who helped there, but it seemed like they didn't want to share these tasks. That's not teamwork. My or our conclusion: we won't be going there again anytime soon. This restaurant wasn't for us either in terms of taste or service.

We went to the pancake mill today and were very excited. Right to start with the friendliness of the employees!!! Top 👍🏼 simply top 👍🏼 we had our puppy with us and water was brought to her immediately. Every waiter who came to our table asked if our dog had water. We felt very comfortable and the whole thing was topped off by the delicious food. Very tasty 👍🏼 we'll be back!!! Thank you for the kindness of the entire team

Food very tasty, large selection… also alternatives for people who don't want pancakes. Operation and service very friendly. Prices reasonable, not too expensive! Ambience a bit too dark for my taste (but it's also an old mill, very winding). But we were also there in winter and in the evening. I would definitely go again :-)

We celebrated my stepfather's 79th birthday on October 13, 2024. On the current menu there was the "Grandma Berta" pancake and one with game, which were a hit with us. First of all, a delicious 😋 pumpkin soup. We'll definitely be back there as guests at the next opportunity!!!

Durch Zufall von meiner Partnerin wieder entdeckt beim vorbeifahren. Dort war sie schon Jahrzehnten , als junges Mädchen mit Ihrer Mutter essen . Auf der Rückfahrt angehalten und eingekehrt. Es ist ein schönes altes Restaurant, super freundliches Personal, super Essen, schnell an den Tisch gebracht. Es wurde nachgefragt ob alles ok ist und es schmeckt. Wir hatten Pfannkuchen mit HackfleischsoMasse und es war eine gute Portion und super lecker. Nachtisch süßer Pfannkuchen dieser war auch perfekt. Vielen Dank , wir kommen wieder. Nur zu empfehlen

Great restaurant!!!!! Totally nice reception, even though it was quite full and it was stated at the entrance that the food might take longer due to staff shortages. Absolutely nothing was noticed. The food came quickly and was extremely tasty. Both savory and sweet. The little guests are also taken into consideration, which makes it more relaxing for the parents. We'd love to come back!!!

The service (especially a young man named Sven) was absolutely top, and the ambience was also great. The pancakes were excellent and particularly tasty. The only thing for which there are small deductions were the other main courses (everything was rather dry, not very seasoned and quite expensive).

Been there for the first time, a charming rustic restaurant in a historic half-timbered house. The reception was very friendly. I ate the host's recommendation, a pancake with sauerbraten, red cabbage and very tasty, sweet and sour sauce, my partner the pancake with chicken breast and tarragon sauce. Both very tasty. Good selection of draft beers and wines. We definitely weren't there for the last time!

Went to the mill on Saturday for our Christmas dinner with 12 people, everyone enjoyed it, the food was good, the service was good and we certainly weren't there for the last time.

Overall 5 stars. Since I only know pancakes as a sweet version, the selection was all the more impressive. Wir sind extra eine halbe Stunde gefahren, um das Restaurant auszuprobieren und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Sehr leckere Pfannkuchen, ich hatte einen mit Auberginen und Schafskäse überbacken. Wunderbar. Als Vegetarier hat man dort die Qual der Wahl, sprich, ich muss da nochmal hin. Der Service war sehr freundlich und angenehm, das Ambiente urig und gemütlich. Nur zu empfehlen.

However, a reservation is recommended as the restaurant is very busy. The pancakes were an absolute delight and we were thrilled by the diverse selection. I would particularly like to highlight the vegan options, which were my personal highlight. A great place to enjoy delicious food in a cozy atmosphere. We'll definitely be back! Sehr geehrte Damen und Herrn, ich bin doch sehr überrascht, ja sogar enttäuscht, dass ich für drei Apfelpfannkuchen „to go“ den gleichen Preis zahlen musste, wie wenn ich diese in Ihrem Restaurant verzehrt hätte. Dabei hätte ich in Ihrem Restaurant je Apfelpfannkuchen zusätzlich zwei Kugeln Vanilleeis erhalten, die ich bei den Apfelpfannkuchen „to go“ nicht erhalten habe. In Ihrem Restaurant berechnen Sie für ein kleines Eis (2 Kugeln) - wenn auch mit Sahne! - 4,80€! Es wurde mir Ihrerseits auch keine alternative „Beilage“ angeboten. Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, darüber hinaus musste ich für die Speisen (3 Apfelpfannkuchen sowie einen Speckpfannekuchen) 19% Mehrwertsteuer entrichten, obwohl geregelt ist, dass für Lebensmittel, die Gäste mitnehmen oder per Lieferung nach Hause bestellen, nur 7% Mehrwertsteuer anfallen - im Gegensatz zum Steuersatz von 19% auf Speisen und Getränke, die im Restaurant verzehrt werden. Aufgrund dieser unerfreulichen Vorkommnisse werde ich Ihre Pfannkuchen-Mühle nicht mehr aufsuchen, zumal ich eigens aus Köln angereist komme. Sweet, rustic restaurant in a half-timbered house. The pancakes were delicious and I even got a gluten free pancake. There is also seating outside, but unfortunately that's not so nice since the restaurant is right on a busy street. Restaurant is not barrier-free.

For the first time in at least 25 years at the pancake mill and as enthusiastic as ever. Same atmosphere, expanded menu, but there were still lots of pancakes on offer and my favorite was still there, even if it had changed in appearance. Still just as delicious 😋 The parking lot is just as bumpy as before and on the other side of the street. Service very friendly, quite quick, sometimes a bit tiring, friendly and funny. Prices are not that much more expensive than back then and are completely appropriate for today. It won't take another 25 years until the next visit! 🥰

Today I was there again for many years. The reception and service were very warm and friendly. The food was also ready quickly. My dish (pancakes with fresh chanterelles) was slightly seasoned. The tomato soup as a starter was very tasty. The portions are plentiful. What really spoiled the whole thing for my taste was the really ratty and extremely dirty carpet on the upper floor. There is an urgent need for renovation here. That no longer has anything to do with the old half-timbered charm. But that's a reason for me not to come back.

The pancake mill is a great place, especially for families: on the first floor there is a playroom where the little ones can let off steam while the parents enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. Dogs are also welcome here, which makes the Pfannkuchen-Mühle an ideal destination for a cozy family outing - whether with children or four-legged friends. Absolute recommendation for everyone who loves authentic, rustic flair!

The selection of pancakes is very large, from variations you know, regional versions and seasonal pancakes. Parking is possible free of charge opposite, but not paved. You can pay in Bahr or with an EC card. Depending on the day and time, it is advisable to reserve a table. It is important that the opening hours are continuous until 8 p.m. and that there are rest days.
