Overall 5 stars. Since I only know pancakes as a sweet version, the selection was all the more impressive. In addition, the pancakes can also be made completely vegan if desired and the taste was first class. The service and advice was more than nice. The atmosphere was super cozy - a wonderful evening. We were at the Pfannkuchen-Mühle yesterday and despite the huge crowd, we spontaneously got a seat - a big thank you to the super friendly and attentive service team! However, a reservation is recommended as the restaurant is very busy. The pancakes were an absolute delight and we were thrilled by the diverse selection. I would particularly like to highlight the vegan options, which were my personal highlight. A great place to enjoy delicious food in a cozy atmosphere. We'll definitely be back! Sweet, rustic restaurant in a half-timbered house. The pancakes were delicious and I even got a gluten free pancake. There is also seating outside, but unfortunately that's not so nice since the restaurant is right on a busy street. Restaurant is not barrier-free.

For the first time in at least 25 years at the pancake mill and as enthusiastic as ever. Same atmosphere, expanded menu, but there were still lots of pancakes on offer and my favorite was still there, even if it had changed in appearance. Still just as delicious 😋 The parking lot is just as bumpy as before and on the other side of the street. Service very friendly, quite quick, sometimes a bit tiring, friendly and funny. Prices are not that much more expensive than back then and are completely appropriate for today. It won't take another 25 years until the next visit! 🥰

The best pancake restaurant we know in this region around Cologne and Bonn. The service is friendly, the atmosphere is stylish and there is just enough parking space.

Today I was there again for many years. The reception and service were very warm and friendly. The food was also ready quickly. My dish (pancakes with fresh chanterelles) was slightly seasoned. The tomato soup as a starter was very tasty. The portions are plentiful. What really spoiled the whole thing for my taste was the really ratty and extremely dirty carpet on the upper floor. There is an urgent need for renovation here. That no longer has anything to do with the old half-timbered charm. But that's a reason for me not to come back.

Service as well, ambience not much to complain about, but could use a refresher, unfortunately the food was completely overcooked and also too much salt, fillet meat was good, pasta was ok, since the rest of the food tasted good, you can assume there was a slip-up. The pancake mill is a great place, especially for families: on the first floor there is a playroom where the little ones can let off steam while the parents enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. Dogs are also welcome here, which makes the Pfannkuchen-Mühle an ideal destination for a cozy family outing - whether with children or four-legged friends. Absolute recommendation for everyone who loves authentic, rustic flair!

The selection of pancakes is very large, from variations you know, regional versions and seasonal pancakes. Parking is possible free of charge opposite, but not paved. You can pay in Bahr or with an EC card. Depending on the day and time, it is advisable to reserve a table. It is important that the opening hours are continuous until 8 p.m. and that there are rest days.

Yesterday we were at our son's baptism with 20 people (including 3 toddlers and a baby). We had reserved a table in the restaurant. We were offered a nice shady spot outside because we had fantastic summer weather. The small playground was right around the corner. You can tell that children are very welcome. The children had a lot of fun. Everyone enjoyed the food, and the service was very attentive and super friendly. We were also allowed to bring our own baptism cake and were given the dishes for the cake for a small fee. We can highly recommend the restaurant with a clear conscience and will definitely come back again.

Today we had dinner at the mill with the kids. My wife and kids had pancakes. One with chanterelles, one with tomato mozzarella and one plain with powdered sugar. I had the game goulash with fried potatoes. Everything looked very good, but unfortunately everything was totally lame! There was a lack of salt on everything, which is why the food was totally boring! The fried potatoes were extremely oily but the game goulash was delicious! I hope it was just the chef's bad day, but we probably won't go there again because the prices were very high in contrast to the food! What you have to say, the homemade iced tea was great and the service and the team were quick and very nice!

Very tasty, the restaurant was very rustically decorated. Non-disturbing dogs are allowed. The staff was very friendly. We even got dessert even though the kitchen had closed 5 minutes earlier. Always my pleasure

We had dinner there with 6 people. Super friendly and courteous service staff. The food is something different. As the name suggests, the focus here is on the pancake. AND THEY ARE DELICIOUS! Everything that was ordered... pork medallions, spinach, gyros... everything was super delicious! The homemade iced tea was also super good! You can sit outside although you have to put up with the traffic on the street. Great restaurant!

We've eaten here often. The portions are always more than generous, the taste is always great and the menu is really unusual. Whether savory or sweet, there is something for everyone here. We (3 people) were there on a Sunday lunchtime at 3:00 p.m., it wasn't that busy at that time. Because only about 4-5 tables were occupied, we only had to wait 10 to 15 minutes for our food. The service was very good. The prices at this time are definitely justified. A pancake with bacon was around €12.50. A pancake with ham and cheese cost €14.40 and the quality was very good. Made onion soup cost €6.40 but the taste was a solid ten out of ten. I will definitely go there again.

It's been a while since I was there last time. But I still remember the pancakes so well...to the point of "kneeling". The best thing is, you can also combine them. Well, I, for example, am not much of a cream fan. I said that too when I ordered. When my delicious cherry pancake (with cinnamon, mhmhm, leeecker) arrived, it came with a small. Bowl of vanilla ice cream - instead of cream. Class service. There's only one thing I could complain about, and that was the waiting time. This was quite long, but the result was worth the wait. Price wise, yes, I would say mediocre. Not TOO expensive, but the food isn't wasted either. I'm currently looking for a route on how I can reach the restaurant by bike (from Cologne Ostheim) because I'm planning another visit. The first two times we were there by car. You have to be careful - the village consists of a maximum of 8 houses, 6 of which are hotels/restaurants...😊. Parking facilities are available. The boss also serves himself (not exclusively, but also!) I can say one thing 100%: definitely recommended!!!

We visited the restaurant spontaneously as part of a hike. The food met our expectations and the service was friendly. I would come back at any time and can absolutely recommend the restaurant.

Went there spontaneously on Saturday: Parking directly opposite. Ambience rustic but very well maintained! Employees always attended to our child (10 months) and sometimes even spent a little time with him. No feeling of stress or overwhelm, despite the fact that some tables were occupied. Food came very quickly and was extremely tasty! The pancakes are not too sweet, rather the hearty dishes are kept very neutral. The topping on the pancakes brings the delicious taste. -we keep a list of restaurants because we travel a lot in Germany, the Pfannkuchen-Mühle is definitely under “visit again” 👍🏽

Very cozy, rustically furnished, large, old half-timbered house. The restaurant is well attended, there is seating on two levels and also an outdoor area. We managed to get a table even without booking in advance, but guests who arrived after us were sometimes less lucky. So you should pre-order. Despite the large number of guests, the service is quick and very friendly. You have to wait a little for the food, but that is completely normal given the rush. In addition to numerous pancake dishes, the menu also offers a wide selection of other dishes. We were a little disappointed with the pancakes as they were very floury. Next time we would order something without pancakes. Overall, the food was ok and the price-performance ratio was fine. The very good selection of drinks is also pleasant. In summer the restaurant is often visited by motorcyclists. It wasn't the last time we were there.
