Good food, good service...recommended...except for the boss, who preferred to sit around instead of helping his two young employees when the restaurant was getting busy...he just gave orders...quite arrogant...

We've been here twice this week... and it's only Wednesday. Super delicious fish and the portion size is fantastic. You can choose between large and small. Highly recommended. Absolutely fantastic staff. We'll definitely be back.

The food was delicious; we had salmon and zander. It was nice that they also offered different sizes. Special requests were also accommodated. The service was quick, pleasant, and very friendly.

The food was very tasty. The price-performance ratio was good. I had the Karlshagen fish soup and the burbot.

We ate there today, and it's the only restaurant on the island that we'd give 10 stars. Everything is just right here: the friendliness, the service, and especially the food. Simply unbelievably good, plentiful, and at a price that would make others pale in comparison. We almost forgot the most important thing: everything is freshly prepared and not the microwaved mush you'd find in other restaurants here. Bottom line: Peter and his crew are highly recommended to anyone who appreciates very, very good food and incredibly great service. Ten stars, minimum!!!!!!!!!!

We came here because of the excellent reviews. The ambiance is very good, the service very friendly. The food was terrible—two fried fish rolls and one herring roll. The roll was completely charred on the underside, the fried fish was basically just a thick coating of breadcrumbs, and everything was drenched in mayo or some kind of salad dressing. It was inedible. We won't be back, and we don't recommend it.

It was fantastic here this year. A huge improvement over last year. We had excellent food and the service was excellent. Everything went smoothly. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

I dropped in spontaneously and got a seat inside with my dog. A bowl of water was placed in front of us. The service was very friendly, and the food came quickly. It was delicious. I made a reservation on the second evening, and the water bowl was already there when I arrived. Even with a full house, the food came quickly. Simply fantastic 👍🏼

We sat outside, which had a quaint decor. The food was delicious (we had flounder from the daily special, a small schnitzel, and rhubarb lemonade), and the service was excellent. It's best to make a reservation in the evening if you want to sit outside.

We were very satisfied with the service, the food, and the restaurant itself. The foreign waiters were all friendly and attentive, and ordering was easy without any language barriers. The best fish sandwiches in town

What has been described for months is what a larger group (including mentally disabled people) had to experience a few weeks ago. Communication with the staff is one thing, but instead of the non-alcoholic beers they ordered (the residents were given and drank normal beer, which was also noted on the bill). They asked three times and repeatedly made it clear: non-alcoholic beer, please. I'll spare you any further details on this and other topics here; the responsible authority/person responsible for the catering sector has been informed.

To eat fish, definitely. Highly commendable: because of the rainy spell during our visit, the owner enclosed the outdoor area like a tent!

We've been there several times, and I can highly recommend the restaurant with a clear conscience. The super friendly chef, "Peter," and the excellent crew on board are very helpful. Compliments to the kitchen: very good, home-style cooking, a small, delicious menu... Child- and dog-friendly... keep up the good work!

We spontaneously stopped by Peter's Restaurant for a bite to eat. Unfortunately, we can't recommend the place. The boss is extremely condescending, scolding his staff in front of the entire team for not clearing the tables promptly, telling them they should "please" take care of it. The placemats were completely moldy on the underside. (We'll try to upload a photo.) When we discreetly pointed this out to the waiter, he apologized but insisted he was doing his job properly. Our attempt to speak to the boss after paying was dismissed with a shrug and referred us to his waiter. Only after we again pointed out that he wanted to speak to him did he get up from his bench and arrogantly dismissed our remark from halfway across the room in the same condescending manner as described above, and then ignored us. Absolutely outrageous and showed no respect for his guests or his staff.

I recently went to this restaurant with my friends because we were looking for a table on the spur of the moment. The manager said there was a table available right away. We ended up waiting for almost 10 minutes, but that's just the beginning. I ordered a beer, which arrived lukewarm and without a head. Then, when we ordered our food, the waitress barely understood us, and we had trouble telling her what we wanted. I ordered herring with fried potatoes, but for the price, it was beyond poor, and when I complained, the manager just yelled at my friends and told us to leave. It couldn't be more unfriendly. Never again...

Unfortunately, my visit was disappointing. Communication with the staff was difficult due to misunderstandings. The owner's tone also struck me as unfriendly and rather stressed. Overall, I didn't feel comfortable and therefore unfortunately cannot recommend the restaurant.

We've eaten there many times, but we've never experienced anything like this before. The staff struggles to understand you, so the manager intervenes, and then he treats you rudely. You feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Unfortunately, we can't recommend the food there either; it arrived lukewarm and had a very bland taste. We won't be going there again on our vacation.

Very good mixed fish platter, easily enough for two and leaves room for the Baltic Sea pancakes. Excellent fried potatoes and friendly service. The walk from Zinnowitz was definitely worth it.

After a long walk on the beach, we discovered this nice restaurant. Small but nice. The food and drinks were high quality with a personal touch. I was here alone last fall during my vacation in Karlshagen - now twice with my boyfriend and we would love to come back. The food is delicious, the location is nice and the ambience too. Everything is just right here 👍🏻

We were there again today. The food was, as always, very tasty. We even found a good place with the stroller. Everything great!!

Unfortunately I cannot recommend the store. The solyanka we ordered was largely tasteless, the fried potatoes were oily and soggy, the 'tzatziki' was more of a bad-tasting dip, the salad had no dressing, and the fish in black beer batter had a sour taste, which is why we returned the dish. Apparently the owner has changed, so previous positive reviews should be viewed with caution.

Had dinner here on Pentecost Sunday evening with prior reservation. All dishes were very tasty, the service was quick and really nice. The entire stay was very pleasant and can only be recommended. Nice hotel restaurant, as smokers we sat outside in the heated tent. With the three heaters it was pleasantly warm. The special thing here, which I found very good, on the menu, there were small and large portions, so at least everything was eaten and nothing was thrown away...😊 The relatively small menu (it was January so not the season) had something for everyone… And it was absolutely delicious 👍

Schönes liebevoll eingerichtetes Restaurant mit Ambiente. Toilette außer Haus ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Jedoch die Bratkartoffeln mit Speck, zum Schnitzel, waren ziemlich Geil.

Food and service were very good. The hot chocolate with cream is particularly recommended.

The service was a bit grumpy, maybe we just wanted something to drink? We were there around 3 p.m. If it was the boss, then significant deductions in the service note. The prices are rather high, beer starts at 6 euros (in general, Karlshagen is more expensive than Zinnowitz or Zemplin).

Nice atmosphere and delicious food.

After the burial at sea in Peenemünde, I was with my mourners at Peter's in a very beautiful maritime atmosphere, a beautifully set table a la carte for dinner. All of my mourners were very pleased with the delicious fish dishes. Everything was harmonious. Price, quality and the beautifully prepared food were to our complete satisfaction. Honestly, disappointing. Actually a very nice restaurant with a cozy look and acceptable quality of food but service that can be improved. Well, we chose the small portion, but what was on the plate for €18 was just a joke or maybe a children's portion? At least in our opinion the price doesn't match what you get overall. Addendum to the operator's answer: Communication really doesn't seem to fit here, neither in tone nor in content. When I read "Zander fillet with...", I refer to the addition small/large to the fillet. Second helpings, in whatever form, were not mentioned when ordering or when the surprise was expressed when served. So why now? And when it comes to service, the higher the price, the more demanding I can be. In any case, after this answer, I like the place even less. But that doesn't change my rating because (as I said before) it's pretty nice overall.

We ate there two evenings in a row because we were so impressed. Both times there was fish. Waiters very friendly, no long waiting times for the food and a real feel-good atmosphere. As a little farewell schnapps there was a Fischergeist, which is also highly recommended.

Unfortunately, a visit to this location is not recommended. First of all, the portions were made for children & the children's portions were even larger than the normal ones and then for the price, it was just ridiculous. And the price we all paid together was not justified for this “amount” of food. I wouldn't go there again and I would advise others to think carefully about it before visiting this restaurant.

We were greeted very nicely, nice atmosphere, the pasta with sliced ​​salmon - it was tasty, the portion was sufficient, but I don't need onions, bay leaves and juniper berries in the food. Pike perch fillet with fried potatoes large - for 24.50 euros. There was a handful of fried potatoes, 3 small pieces of fish and a tablespoon of salad - we expected more for the price. It was the first time my husband left a restaurant hungry.

Food was good, atmosphere appealing. However, the boss was probably not in such a good mood. The small service was very friendly.

Looking for a fish roll, we ended up at Peter's Restaurant and ordered a herring roll and a fried herring roll to take away. 2 x 4.50 EUR = 9.00 EUR. So far so good. We unpacked the two fish rolls: the rolls were soggy and soft, soaked with fish, the salad (what was that: lamb's lettuce, spinach leaves?) was rotten and both rolls had thick mayonnaise on them. Mayo on herring and fried herring? We disposed of the fish sandwiches in one of the nearest trash cans.

Everything was fine. Authentic service, the waiting time for the food was absolutely reasonable and very comfortable seating. Menu was perfect and not too much to choose from.

Food not worth the price. Molded schnitzel from the deep fryer, the fried potatoes had been waiting to be eaten for some time. Half of the fried potatoes had already turned into potato chips. My wife's meal (she had ordered the pikeperch) was also a dry pikeperch fillet that every amateur cook can probably get better from the freezer at home.

Karlshagen fish soup is excellent. Fish in beer batter and potato pancake are similar. I definitely recommend it

Priced just before the pain threshold. On the one hand understandable, on the other hand not representative of the situation. Food O.K., but you will experience unprecedented saziki combinations here. Salad, served as a side dish, just before the freshness collapse. Appears to have been METRO goods. Only two types of beer, Pils and Hefeweizen, that's really too thin. There's bottled beer! Two types of white wine are also too thin for a fish restaurant. (see above)

A good restaurant among many at the new location. Unfortunately, the unique selling point was lost with the move. It was something special at the old location, today it is one of many...

Really nice restaurant, furnished with great attention to detail, we were greeted personally by the boss, super nice & relaxed person!, our dog was welcome, the young service person was very polite, the food was great!, the trip to the toilet was funny - in short: us are thrilled and would love to come back!

Unfortunately, the visit to Peter's Restautant was something that, in retrospect, we would have preferred to have avoided. We had pike perch with fried potatoes as a large portion. The only thing that was big was the plate. There was a small portion of fried potatoes that were not seasoned and three tiny, wafer-thin pieces of zander that were unfortunately very soaked in fat. The side salad was just a good tablespoon full of cabbage and small pieces of lettuce. Well, at least there was plenty of tartar sauce. The price-performance ratio is very unbalanced here. It's a shame but we can neither recommend the restaurant nor do we have any desire to come back.

Eating is not recommended. Fried potatoes come out of the deep fryer and the fish is not fresh. The only thing you could eat was the fish soup. Prices are far too high for the quality. I've written this before, but bad comments will be deleted here.

We were there last year and it was okay. This time with grandchildren, but the kids didn't really like the card. Unfortunately for us, it just started to rain. After the children didn't want anything from the menu, we left again. In the meantime it stopped raining when the boss told me that I could take shelter somewhere else with my family next time. I don't usually speak loudly, but that left me speechless. What an impudence. Such people should have their license revoked, they simply have no place on the open market. I hope that many visitors read this before they want to come to this location. Better let it be By the way, the table next door had to borrow a fork from us while we were reading through the menu. It's been my favorite restaurant for years, the owner welcomes every guest himself. There's always a relaxed and familiar atmosphere here. The furnishings are made with love and creativity. For me there has been no alternative in Karlshagen for 20 years!
