PETER PANE Burgergrill & Bar in Rostock

There's nothing to complain about the ambiance, and to be fair, we get full marks for the food we couldn't order. The service was so abysmal that we left the restaurant empty-handed. After the orders of all the neighboring tables had already been collected, one table had already received their food, and a guest who arrived after us had already paid, we indicated that we wanted to order something. The staff offered haphazard excuses like, "A colleague should be here soon." It should also be mentioned that we were "seated"!!! After another ten minutes of pointless waiting, we left and handed the waiter (you can't really call him a waiter) our menus. For further information: At the time of our visit, the restaurant was about 40% full and there were at least three employees present. This is not acceptable.

The cheapest meat patty. I just don't think it's good value for money anymore. But the service is very friendly.

I really enjoyed my last visit to Peter Pane. The ambiance is inviting and cozy, the food is delicious, and the service was impeccable.

My wife and I were guests at Peter's Pane in Rostock yesterday around 2:30 p.m. We had a Prime Smash Chili Cheeseburger, a Campfire Burger, the fries mix, a side dip, and then the cheddar cheese dip. To drink, we had a Peter's Lemonade and a Peter's Passion. We were both thrilled with the food. But also with the hospitality of our server. She was super friendly and gave us great advice and explained the lunch menu options, but we ultimately opted for the 'a la carte' option. We felt comfortable and welcome. We didn't eat all the fries and were quite full afterward. A big thank you for a great late lunch experience!

Where do I begin? When my girlfriend and I entered the restaurant, we weren't greeted, as the waitress apparently considered the conversation with her colleague more important. When we were served after a relatively short time, the waitress simply sat next to me, apparently thinking it would appear "professional," but quite the opposite was true. The chaos in the service continued; the drinks arrived after the meal and then at different times, my girlfriend first, and then finally, after five minutes, my beer. The only explanation given was: "You have to wait, it's just foam coming out." Now, the food: The food is "good" ready-made, and I don't really have a problem with that as long as it's heated evenly. The burger bun was lukewarm, and unfortunately, it seemed like the burger had been sitting around for a while or hadn't been heated at all. The smell from the kitchen permeates the restaurant, which isn't very appetizing, but rather smells like washing up. I like to tip, and I like to tip appropriately, but after this incident, I remained stingy and only gave a very small amount (which was still too much). Afterward, my friend and I weren't even given a farewell. Everyone can have a bad day in service, but this was simply unprofessional.

I was there again this weekend. The service was, as always, very friendly and welcoming. They always accommodate special requests. I can say the same about the food. I like the selection, and it's always been delicious. Of course, I'll be back ;-)

I haven't been there in a while, and unfortunately the burgers weren't as good as I remembered. However, they had some delicious salads as an alternative! The service was impeccable, as usual!

Being students from Scotland, we knew the food would far exceed our usual palette, and it certainly did - sehr lecker! But not only so, the friendly staff and copiously faceted décor provide a pleasant atmosphere in which to enjoy our cuisine!

We went to Peter Pane with a large group and five children. After dinner, we asked several times for the table to be cleared so the children could play cards, but unfortunately, nothing happened. When dessert arrived, the waitress simply placed it on the still-full table without clearing it first. I then placed the dishes myself on an empty neighboring table, which annoyed the waitress. There was also a menu where you could choose between coffee and yogurt for dessert. We wanted coffee, but only after ordering—at the point when we were supposed to choose dessert—did we learn that the coffee machine was broken. Instead of offering an equivalent alternative (tea?!) or adjusting the price, we were told we could have the yogurt. For me, that's not a substitute—a drink is not the same as a meal. Overall, very disappointing: poor service, lack of communication, and no attention to any problems. Unfortunately, not an experience we would want to repeat.

We ordered the Double Smashed Chili Cheeseburger twice. What arrived were two burgers with two thin pre-made patties that weren't even remotely smashed; they were just regular thin patties, and the chilies weren't spicy at all. As a result, it was simply a far too expensive, mediocre cheeseburger. As a bonus, the fries arrived ice cold. A thoroughly disappointing evening. We probably won't be back – what a shame!

Food was okay, service was slow. Overall, it's okay if you like burgers. The meat in the burger is cooked only one way: all the way through.

I went to Peter Pane for the first time today, and I'm thrilled. Elisabeth served us extremely friendly and well—the burger was delicious; we had a great time.

Dear Peter Team, We had lunch with you yesterday. Right from the start, we noticed that the staff was understaffed that day. But our waiter, Sven, made up for it. He was super relaxed and super friendly. We felt very comfortable. We ate there with our children, and Sven delighted our children so much that they even tipped him with their pocket money. The food arrived at our table within ten minutes – fantastic! We're always happy to come back.

The service was very good. And our food was delicious. The portions were plentiful.

"Great" service, supposedly open until 10:30 p.m., but the kitchen closes at 9:10 p.m. Too bad for Peter Pane, I just spent my money somewhere else.

We're currently on vacation at the campsite and ate at Peter Pane today... it was simply amazing! The food was super delicious and the portions were very generous, and the staff were very nice and friendly. I can recommend eating there to everyone. Truly, truly delicious! The two of us went there and had a super-delicious burger. The staff was incredibly attentive. They tried to please everyone, even though they weren't that busy. We felt very comfortable there. Kudos to everyone! Thank you so much 🥰

After a shopping trip at the outlet, we were a little hungry, so we headed downtown. Friends had recommended Peter Pane to us, so we went there. Okay, we had to wait a bit at the front, but the young man who showed us to our table also had to take orders and cashier, so it was all fine. Due to the sheer amount of choices, it took us a minute longer, but the service staff were great and responded immediately upon eye contact when we were finished. 1x Three Cheeses with a Sourdough Bun 1x Breadless Burger "Plunderland" 1x 1/2 Pound (250g) Sweet Potato Fries with Parmesan Cream (which is VERY good) 2x Non-alcoholic Soft Drinks 1x Mint Elderflower 1x Melon Total of €52, a great price. They asked twice if everything was okay, not pushy, very friendly. The food arrived in less than 10 minutes (yeah, I'm looking at you, Saturday evening 6 p.m. complainer). The burger was perfectly adequate, 180g beef and lots of cheese (cheese sign 🫶). Even the breadless "burger" was plenty for my companion; we couldn't quite finish the fries between us. Even when paying, they immediately noticed even the smallest signs and asked again if everything was okay. Plus point: the Peter Pan audiobook was playing in the restroom, and yes, I might have taken a little longer than usual 😍... All in all, it was great, and all the staff were very accommodating and friendly, thank you 🫶

We arrived around 4:30 p.m. After a short wait, we were assigned a table. The food was delicious and arrived quickly. The set menus are among the best for filling up.

Definitely recommended, even though the price is really high for burgers, the special creations are worth it and taste great.

Lots of vegan options, and different patties, bread and sauces to choose from. The burger I got was a bit cold, and I would have liked the vegan cheese to be melted (or at least warm) But great taste and good cocktails.

I've been to Peter Pane several times now. The burgers never disappoint. The best part, though, is the restroom visits. The Peter Pan radio play was playing there. I would have liked to listen to the whole thing, but I didn't have the time. I'd love to go again.

Food was very good but WiFi absolutely underground

I'm generally a Peter Pane fan, but this was something else entirely. The service and the bartender were all very friendly, the drinks came super quickly, and the food was, as always, delicious. I highly recommend it :)

We spontaneously had a wonderful dinner there. The super friendly, courteous, and attentive staff deserves special mention. We felt so welcome. The way they handled our baby/toddler was also very nice. We were immediately given a highchair, and the staff responded kindly, and there was a great changing room on the ground floor. The food and drinks were served quickly and were impeccable. All in all, truly fantastic!

We were there for the first time today. Service was very friendly, and the ambiance fit the concept. Only the stools and benches are quite uncomfortable. Now for the most important thing: the food: We (my wife and I) each had a burger with a side order. I had the Campfire and my wife had the Macho Nacho. Both burgers were tasty but lukewarm. The fries were also much too cold.

It was my first time at Peter Pane. The lunch special was very good. Delicious burger with fries, a drink, and frozen yogurt with berry sauce. A great deal and a really fair price! I'll definitely be back.

It was a celebration for me 😊 The staff were all super friendly, accommodating, and truly service-oriented. The menu is well-designed, with a diverse selection of burgers, sides, and drinks, the prices are perfectly reasonable, and the food was absolutely delicious. We all agreed they were the best burgers we've ever eaten. And the elderflower and mint thirst quencher was soooo good 😄 Thank you for this wonderful culinary delight 🤩

One of the best restaurants downtown! Super friendly staff and great food :) Everything is always fresh and hot, whether you eat in or takeout. Everything is clean, too, both in the restaurant and in the restrooms. Highly recommended.

The following dishes were chosen: - Fries and nuggets for the child - Liebeskind Burger - Schlaraffenland Burger Everything was fine, except for the Liebeskind burger, which lacked flavor. Perhaps some kind of dressing or sauce could have been added to the salad. The nuggets are always great and don't look like standard frozen goods. One star deducted for the restroom area - the cleanliness level was the same as the floor: -1

Totally rude staff! (A brunette lady, wearing old-pink trousers, and curly hair) greets you rudely and then goes on to gossip about the other staff members. The guests overhear and sit next to her. This is completely unacceptable! And we're regular customers. This isn't the first time I've noticed this lady being so unfriendly!

After a stroll, hunger drove us to Peter Pane for lunch today. We received a friendly welcome at the door; it took a while to order, but our server was patient. The portions were generous and beautifully presented. The selection of drinks is excellent. Sauces are served right at your table, which is also very convenient.

The portion sizes are impressive. The service is fast, pleasant, and multilingual. But on weekends, you have to book a table in advance, because there is a queue.

A friendly welcome and escort to the table. The same goes for ordering. Very fast service and delicious food. What's absolutely not acceptable: watering the flowers and climbing onto the benches to quickly dust the furniture...and all of this during lunchtime, and even briefly watering the flowers at our table while we were eating...is that even possible?

Today was my first time at Peter Pane. I received a very warm welcome, the service was super friendly, the food was amazing, and the drinks selection was fantastic. It was simply a place where you feel at home...I'd love to come back.

Ordered food via Uber for the first time, tasted very good as usual, but our drinks were completely forgotten and the complaint via Uber was miserable (refunded 6 cents) Yes, but it's better not to order on site.

After a long journey, we were spontaneously very hungry and were warmly welcomed at Peter Pane Rostock. We got a table straight away without a reservation – a great first impression! The drinks were wonderfully chilled and we were particularly impressed with the taste of the elderberry-mint water - refreshing and aromatic. I chose the crispy chicken along with the truffle fries. If you love truffles, you definitely shouldn't miss them - a real highlight with an intense but balanced taste. I was absolutely thrilled! My husband chose a burger with fresh herbs, mushrooms, tomatoes, crisp lettuce and a multigrain bun. He was also completely satisfied - the taste was great and beautifully prepared. We would particularly like to highlight the service: The service was extremely friendly, attentive and accommodating. You immediately feel welcome, almost like you are with friends - an atmosphere that makes you feel good. You can clearly see that the guests come first here. Conclusion: An all-round successful visit – we will definitely be back! For us more than 5 stars!!!

The menu with its great offerings is a dream! There is a wide selection. Although I have to admit that I usually end up eating the same thing because I find it so delicious. My favorite is the “Double Peter” burger. Plus fries. But you can only do that if you are very hungry. 🍔😄 The service here is always extremely friendly and attentive. 😃 A nice stopover in the middle of downtown Rostock. If you appreciate good burgers in a relaxed atmosphere, this is the place for you.🤗

The burgers and also the fries were very tasty, but the price was quite high. For a "normal" burger without a lot of frills, a portion of fries and a small water, I find €23 to be quite expensive.

Burgers at a good level. On one burger a little sauce was saved, on the other a little with the grilled mushrooms but the taste was still good. Drinks and desserts fantastic. Super friendly and attentive service. Gladly again.

Currently April 2025: at the end of a youth birthday, I had dinner with three boys. I really enjoyed it again. However, I have the feeling that the portion has shrunk compared to before. The boys also had similar feelings. At this point I would like to praise the service and the speed :) but we also had great support from Hanna P.s. Definitely worth a visit. Had a Prime Honey Mustard Burger with classic brioche. Incredibly delicious burger. The service was extremely friendly, attentive, careful and made the visit an experience. Thanks Hannah. :)

We came spontaneously (2 adults and a baby) and got a great table and a high chair straight away. The service was attentive and extremely courteous and friendly. Food and drinks arrived quickly and were extremely tasty. The Thanksgiving salad was really, really good. The toilets and changing area were very clean and all in all the price was right. Top!

Had a smashburger that definitely wasn't smashed. Instead, two thin ready-made patties. It had nothing to do with a Smashburger. I also doubt the alleged 160 g of meat. 3 forks of coleslaw for 4 euros is also a joke. Ordered a light beer as a drink and got a Krombacher Pils. The crowning glory at the end: €15.90 for the burger, which actually costs €12.90 according to the menu. In addition, unfriendly comments from the “service employee”. I would have been better off at "Mägges" because at least you know what you're getting...

I ate here with some friends on Saturday. The food was delicious and arrived on time. The service was very friendly; the young man, Elyas, served us very nicely and kindly. Highly recommended.

It was a nice visit, we were there at lunchtime, it was well filled. Our waiter Sven was very quick and on the ball! We'd love to come back, great atmosphere, cool location. Everything you need for a successful visit. 😌 PS: The toilets need a makeover
